I want OG Freddy to be released as a separate killer with Nancy as a survivor and he can play like the old Freddy.
-
Why resilience over spine chill on your main build? I do not get it.

Wow, thats pretty harsh, yet I can't find any flaw in this critique. Sadge.
Well, you know, I just have to accept reality for what it is, perhaps if I was a survivor main, I could pretend they were something more. It will not change much for me, I am so excited for Sadako, just as I was for Freddy when I first joined. I know it will not last forever, but I am definitely going to play a lot of her regardless.
Day one p3, represent.
-
Artist, I just played her for the achievement. I hate her power, though. All of those cringe survivors that think they are tilting me with their antics have no idea that the only thing that genuinely upsets me in this game is trying to understand why the Artist's power is so ludicrously undertuned at anything that is not map control. And they have the audacity to make you get downs with it. Disgusting.

"He wouldn't make a unique killer."
Glances at Sadako and what they came up with.
At this point, it is pretty obvious basically no killer is living to their full potential. Springtrap as a basic m1 would be better than whatever their favorite as a basic m1 would be. Unless it happened to be Charles Lee Ray or Jason Vorhees, I suppose. And realistically, they know that. Just getting the IP is enough to excite fans. It doesn't really matter what they do with it.
To be fair though, the ball is in their court. It is not really up to Behavior. If it was, we would definitely get him as for every person who hates FNAF and refuses to purchase it on principle, we have a few people willing to buy it and DBD for the first time.

Maybe they don't feel they have to make unique killers.
Stealth killers continue to be the most popular even when they're weak. Why make a strong unique killer when stealthier type killers like Sadako will sell well
Personally, I feel you could do both. Making her permanently demanifested by default would make her very interesting, in my opinion, despite the way that they would actually remove an aspect of her already basic kit. But just imagine how different it would be in practice to have full stealth the entire time. It would actually be pretty crazy and I would forgive the fact that her Condemned is mostly just a gimmick that is like, "see, we might have watched the American version, or maybe we didn't, but she kills people!"

I remember I said something to likes of "I paid for the game so I should be able to play as optimal as I want as a killer" in the DBD discord. Appearently that was incredibly controversial and got a chain of "yikes" from survivoids.
Yikes, Somber. Taking a game with less competitive integrity than Mario Party and optimizing it does sound kind of cringe. Unless you play survivor, that is. All we can do is rush our objective and predrop hold w and hope our second chances can get us out of the gate. You do not know the every day struggle.

just had a game where a survivor dc'd immidately and we somehow got 2 people out
the huntress was terrible which is why, in most games it's literally over if that happens so no i completely agree
I actually had that too. Albeit, toward the end, I was starting to suspect he was letting us go as he could have killed the last one and didn't. Could have fooled me with how hard he was defending the 3 gen.

Because BHVR simply cannot handle them.
Freddy used to be the most unique killer in the game, and look at the disgusting state he is currently in.
They know HOW to create an unique killer, but they fail miserably at handling them afterwards.
Freddy is not so different from Sadako conceptually. So much potential and then they said, "um... But what if they were an M1 with intermittent invisibility and a teleport? Does that count as unique? They can have, um... Outdated household items littered around the map as counterplay for the survivors to completely ignore their core functionality. Yeah... Sounds balanced and fun for all! And let's throw in a visual filter to really show it!"
-
No, people have a right to their opinion. They can shame you for doing whatever. The issue is really when they can't man up, wipe their wittle tears away and accept it. Instead they cry for nerfs. Waah, Bubba is unfair because I cannot unhook for free against an instant down if I bring my posse, waah. It is embarrassing, fam.
-
If he started face camping... Probably.

@landromat said:
Get ready to look at your cooldown bar 90% of the time because of survivors holding w and not allowing you to use your power
I can tell you actually play her. Some of the other "advice" is really strange when the whole point of her power is to force survivors to hold w.
You block a loop and chase them as they run to the next tile. If you are aiming birds at survivors... You are doing something wrong. Or going for the achievement/daily, I suppose. Fair enough in that case.
-
I would rather the game was killer sided over the forums, lulz. Imagjne if the new hyped killer was actually worth getting hyped about for people who didn't love Ringu. That would be Pog.

Dead? No.
Bleeding? Yes!
I fully expect DBD to continue to bleed until either the developers fix a lot of the issues such as general map/perk design or until its no longer sustainable forcing DbD to be put into maintenance mode.
In other words, the developers need Unbreakable irl.
-
Nah, why do that when I can just get my squad and I to call you names for not letting us reset? Leave us alone if you can't handle the truth, camper.
-
I would be SHOCKED if they buffed her. That doesn't necessarily mean I believe they will nerf her, but if I had to put money on one or the other, obviously I would bet on nerf. Like, what kind of fool would look at all prior balance changes in the past year and bet on a buff? No offense intended, but I highly recommend that person never bets on anything.
-
Nah, and I doubt the trend continues. We finally have a hype killer. People are still playing the PTB for what is literally just a basic m1 killer and a fanfic version of Yoichi. She is clearly going to sell quite well and as we head into anniversary, we are going to be trending upwards even more.
The doom and gloom around the game is nonsensical. They have not been making the best decisions, but at the end of the day, we still have plenty of steam left to compensate for that. Lol.
-
It all has to do with competence needs not being fulfilled.
-
If it ended before Sadako... The last trial would have been my last. It was a weird one, I just did Ace's Journey (part 1) and let the Billy kill me. At least I will have gone out like a douche bag Ace. Made him swing at a window, sandbagged my teammates on first hook... That is how I would want to go out, I suppose.
-
Call me clairvoyant because I can predict killer powers that the forums can't. It is a gift... And a curse.
-
I can and will doompost until they hit her with the fat survivor buff treatment. I expect no less than an entire systematic change to improve her. To compensate, I will allow them to nerf her already circumstantial perks.

What the heck, you changed your icon.
I really can't take this level of disregard for Bubba.
It is indeed depressing. It is supposed to be for Sadako hype. But instead I am stuck with this faker that is not even good enough to be her fake.
-
Other than the random freezes at inopportune times, such as when you need to hit Decisive, I have not noticed anything close to how it was during the RE chapter. And for that, I am thankful.
-
Oh, that is out already? I might just fast forward to the cancel part and check out the full scene. Not sure my heart could take watching the entire film.
-
People whining about solo queue and refusing to run Slippery meat are doing it wrong.
-
How do we know that the people leaving aren't because mmr is broken and new players trying the game are like, "hell nah, bro, I do not want to play against red ranks just so the forums can tell me they have nothing to do with matchmaking as though that is not the exact problem."
I am not saying nobody left because of actual mmr. In fact, that is why matchmaking is so loose and now people might hypothetically be leaving because mmr doesn't work. I am telling you, mmr was added to help retention. The reason it is not working is because this is not true mmr.
I hate the old system, but I have to admit, it took awhile before you started playing against red ranks. Nowadays people be playing against them after their second or third game. It is really cringe, bruh.

Also, C-Tier is not a problem Tier.
D-Tier needs buffs.
S-Tier needs nerfs.
Every other killer should be either A, B or C.
The issue is more that nobody can agree on a tier list whatsoever. I do not feel we even have any s tier killers to begin with, and I do not believe Sadako is C tier. So that just leaves a lot to be desired in terms of our agreement.
-
It just needs less god pallets, otherwise it is fine.
-
There are more than that, but I refuse to list them because I do not want people to start using them.

Looking at a party game from a logical standpoint has never gotten anyone anywhere.

I did a role swap,I play killer from time to time,I wish I could play more often but it just isn't fun anymore for me.
Word up. I hate the sensation when a game I once loved no longer feels fun. It is really unfortunate and sadly, the only thing you can do is find a replacement.

It is a horror slasher trope that horny teens get killed, so one could argue there should be even more skimpy clothing in DbD. But because it's multiplayer I don't want it. However I think modding should be allowed so players can see what they want on their screens.
Modding is the only way I can see Myers getting a Halloween Kills mask, Robert Englund face rework for Freddy, Noir Claire from RE:2, etc.
But of course people had to ruin it by making Trapper's traps bright pInk.
Pink traps is lit, fam. I would put those on myself if they sold them in-game. Hello Kitty stickers and all if they could get the license.

Being able to push others around was extremely abusable. Pushing survivors allowed for incredible sandbagging, and pushing killers is inherently flawed design because of the power it gives.
I mean, yeah, pushing killers is a bit odd. No bias. Okay, bias.
But I feel this would help combat sandbagging more than it would create it, to be perfectly honest. Maybe if you could just use it on survivors who are not running?
I mean, this is also just a fun hypothetical. They would literally never make it a perk.
-
@SuzuKR said:
People are not supposed to be able to push others around. That is the entire point.
Right, and killers are not supposed to be immune to blinds. But Lightborn, a perk, changes that rule. Almost every perk does it, my man.

In the book, the protagonist has a daughter not a son lol.
Yeah, I am just so confused. Is there a sequel or something where Yoichi is older? Everyone is acting like it is normal and I am lost. But I only watched the original. So my knowledge is a bit paltry.
-
Is Yoichi an adult in the book?
-
Is that why you have been so much more negative recently, Friendly Bubba? You no longer take joy in ruining a survivor main's day? That is unfortunate. But I understand, cheaters are the worst and deserve the face camp more than your average survivor by the tiniest bit. And yet, they have all the tools in the world to prevent us from hanging on the meat hook. Sad.
-
@fulltonon said:
If pig is actually try hard enough at least one survivor is guaranteed to die anyway.
Pig does technically have one of the best 1v1s in the game and can actually technically ensure a kill without needing a hook whereas Bubba needs a hook.

Samara is actually underage (remember the people who refuse to look up Ringu and scream SADAKO UNDERAGE every thread about her) so she won't be in. BHVR is clear about not having any such characters.
Are they? Sadako definitely seems to be a kid (and also they aged up the homie for whatever reason), which is rad. I want a little girl to disgrace survivor mains. This is what we needed.
-
Hello.
And also no.
-
I only took one after Artist... That killer was such a disgrace that all hype was dead. It was a big yikes moment and I do not know how they could mess it up THAT badly. They were right to announce Ringu early to win us back ahead of time. With a good decision like that, one has to wonder how they messed up the Artist as much as they did.
-
The trick is to enjoy Bubba face camps. If you can manage that, the game becomes infinitely better.

I don't think you engaged him in good faith if you immediately respond to his bitterness with more bitterness. If you truly felt bad for him that wouldn't be the direction to go in when he responds in a way that demonstrates you were correct and he indeed had it rough.
He literally hit them with the #########, bruh. There is no engaging a person like that without them flipping out.
Well, actually, there is. Irl where they wouldn't dare. Lol.

I just want to leave as soon as i notice its a swf. It doesn't matter how hard bhvr push that it isn't cheating. Everyone knows it is. Chisel it on a damn stone tablet for all i care it doesn't change the fact that coms bypass a large chunk of mechanics and even killers in this game.
I was on autohaven chasing a survivor and saw an injured one in the distance going for the hook save. I waited for them to be out of sight and i was going to break off and get them just before they unhooked. By luck Tinkerer procced making it even better. They were behind 3 jungle gyms and i had no terror radius so there was no way to hear or see me approach. I arrive at the hook and nobody is there.. I walk to where i saw them last and they are off in the distance pointing and crouching.
The survivor i was chasing warned him over coms. Checked profiles at the end and they were all on each others lists.
Its boring to play against and it just turns you into a robot because nothing else you do matters when they can just call it out.
I honestly feel like the map design is a bigger obstacle than whether or not friends are communicating. Hard to call it cheating when they throw the game out of altruism to save their wittle buddy from them time out. Poor baby survivors...
-
We do not NEED anti loop. But yeah, if you release a killer without it, they better do SOMETHING well. Obviously. Or maybe it is not as obvious as I believe it to be.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/311158/why-is-afk-pig-exploits-allowed
For once Sluzzy I agree with you both Killers and Survivors need to be held to the same standards. Now I'm playing devil's advocate here but maybe the Devs didn't know about the exploit just like we did until it happened.
The fix for this will take a bit more work than just adding a few hooks or changing a value of a perk. The easiest way I can think of is put in a line of code that states if Mrs Piggy is too close ie body blocking range, that the box in question will never spawn a survivor's key. That will take time to put in but I'm the meantime record these Pigs and report them because it's Killers like that that give casual fun loving Killers a bad name as Toxic Bully squads give survivors a bad name.
They know. It is not reportable. However, I still agree with Sluzzy. At the end of the day THIS is what happens when you are not consistent in your logic when it comes to the rules. Saying that bodyblocking a survivor takes the game hostage, and then saying that bodyblocking a survivor doesn't take the game hostage... That is almost why it makes more sense to be objective.
-
Do not Google it.

People will step all over one another in a rush to play the newest M1 killer.
-
I would say... Well, I guess I will play the game in a few years. Funny story about that is it is not far from the truth when it comes to my experience with the game. I definitely decided to wait on it when I saw the 2016 version.
