@hailxsatanxeveryxday my point is it's a ridiculous over reaction. It's basically throwing a tantrum.
No, if you want to see what throwing a tantrum actually looks like, I highly recommend you employ this strategy and then watch their reaction. You will learn the difference very quickly.

I would rework Hawkins into Trickster's studio and that is it. No need for Stranger Things content, surprised people are so in love with it despite some being against horror legends in the video game space such as Resident Evil or Silent Hill. But some nostalgia pandering series from a streaming service and everyone is like, "yep, that fits."
No hate. I love Stranger Things, but the double standard is literally insane and the map was the only thing of value despite the fact that a lot of people were happy to see content leave. It is baffling and I do not even care to understand it.
-
I... Do not know. Blight stacking slowdown sounds like what you are looking for; however, that is far from the meanest.
Leatherface with bamboozle, rancor, noed, and no way out is MUCH more brutal. You get your first down, bamboozle should make sure it comes faster than usual. Face camp them to death, obviously. The gens should be pretty much done. At this point, I search for the rancor and if gens are powered, you get the noed speed boost. Kill them, go to the gate that proced No Way Out to search for the third and GG EZ.
Trust me, you will not care about gens or circle of healing at all.
-
I am all for nerfing face camping... On other killers. This is Leatherface's niche, if they remove it without compensating him with something major, I am hella hella gone, bro. I tolerate a LOT of their decisions. I disagree with dozens upon dozens of them. This would be the straw that broke the camels back.
I am not going to learn some lame killer like Nurse, Blight, or Spirit... according to some, just to compete with high end survivors. Hell no. I want a normal killer that can hang. And he does that by removing that BS that is free unhooks that survivors feel entitled to for whatever messed up reason.
-
I have to admit, I thought most survivors were throwing their games because they were bad, now I realize these survivor archive challenges are just so insanely ridiculous and you have to throw if you want them done in a timely manner.

Asking as NOED seems to be in its weekly hot-spot.
For me, I'd say not-at-all to mildly....maybe 1 in 15 games.
Curious as to what YOUR experience is!
This sounds about right in my experience. And I play at low mmr, so you would think I would run into it relatively often.
-
One to watch out for is Breakout. The person who wiggled off might not have necessarily had a perk, but that one does WAY more than most people realize because they are obsessed with the second chance meta.
Other than that, they buffed wiggling to cut off a second earlier if you land every skill check. And also falling from a great height is fine if not preferred assuming they have no boil over.
Another thing that might seem small but can be relevant is if they bring a hook distance offering. That coupled with horrible hook spawns sometimes has you needing to travel further than you might necessarily want to.

I feel like they could’ve stomped me if they just weren’t way to worried about immediately unhooking
Yeah, survivors could stomp virtually any killer if they were playing optimal. Luckily they rarely do.
-
Matchmaking is too loose to have an elo hell in this game. Or maybe you just aren't particularly great at survivor, which is fine... But you should be able to solo carry against a bad killer if you know what you are doing. I do it and I am literally one of the worst survivors around.
-
Sadako more or less did it. After Artist, I was lowkey kind of over it. But then they announced Sadako way ahead of time so I never left. That being said, you know, once the Sadako hype wears off and I have had my fill, pretty sure I go on a long break. It depends on the killer after that, I suppose. My heart cannot take another Artist though.
-
I just want Daphne, bro. Is that too much to ask for? We ain't even need the whole Scooby gang. Just Daph would be swell.
-
I do not care about them. It would be hypocritical if I did as I love clicking my flashlight.
-
If anything, the aura should be base kit. The perk? Hell no.
-
I mean... To be real with you, if I lost as any killer except for Bubba, I would genuinely have felt as though I would have won if I had been playing him. I blame myself for not picking Leatherface 24/7. That what makes me different from these killers. I can admit the mistake I made.

You have no idea why they switched to a flashlight. For the sake of argument though, let's say they did it so you couldn't try to counter it. So what? They have no idea what they are facing. Why should they freely advertise to you what they're doing?
Of course they can, but how does that make me want to tunnel and camp them less, exactly? They freely make my decision of who to remove from the game easy, so maybe you should ask them why they freely do it. I have no clue, thrawn3054. You are asking the wrong party.

Do you play Billy? If you are coming from this as purely a survivor. Be honest, how many basement camping Billy’s (using their chainsaw) have you really faced?
This may come as a surprise to you, but I definitely do that as Billy.

It's part of the game, it seems dirty, but survivors do it to counter Lightborn (which isn't even a good perk)
It's not toxic.
Being whiny and entitled, is.
If being whiny and entitled is toxic, do you not feel that perhaps you should rephrase your posts a bit?

Don’t go down near it. Problem solved.
You would be surprised how far iron grasp and agitation can bring survivors intelligent enough to stay away from the basement. Oh, yes.

Bubbba should be blessed with two basements. Think about that for a while. Haha
This is the best suggestion I have ever read on this forum. I wish you were a developer, Jo.

"tunneling and camping is toxic asf" -A KILLER MAIN
Okay, I'm a survivor main and survivors shouldn't try to do stupid thing like this, they should be camped and tunneled to immediately removed from game.
Do not worry, fulltonon, they will. I promise you.

probably. I will assume you need one in the top library in RPD as well.
Finally, a killer using an RPD offering. A rare, and beautiful sight.
-
If anything, Leatherface should be the only one allowed down there. You are just being insanely biased. It is his birthright.

I will need to one hook at least two survivors in the basement to cleanse my soul from that filth.

Nah, it happened with a 3 man swf while I was solo survivor and it was just as funny. And one of them had the audacity to message me about how I was not being productive. Uh huh, 3 flashlights, 3 hook space offerings on Red Forest against a Legion. And they screwed that up, somehow, mainly by playing around basement.
After I laughed at their squad for getting rolled by a Legion, he literally said, "good thing I am solo" as he had a matching name with someone else in the lobby. I will admit that perhaps it was a 2 man and the other was a solo that just coincidentally brought the same item, and offering with the same rank on the same platform, and just joined in the fun. And maybe they also messaged him about how bad he was at using a flashlight. Who knows?
But to me, making fun of swf bully squads is not an us versus them. I do not like them as survivor either. If anything, defending those losers is only a result of an us versus them where survivors feel compelled to associate with them which is pretty cringe.

I think a lot of people are happy not because of them being inept, but rather the constant, repetitive, standing still at pallet miNDgAme is no longer in the game. Only way to avoid that standing still bs was to bring a flashlight, and it's not like you could bring it every game.
Yeah, no... It was really the first part.
-
@Laurie268 said:
You’ll have to catch them first though
That is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out where that rodent spawned.
-
I never really cared about stretched, but I wouldn't say it benefited killers as much as it benefited Nurse and Blight... I had more than my share of those "it looks better" clowns ruin my Ghostface games, actually.
If you didn't play any worse without it, there is no need to cry over milk that has literally not even been spilled, friend. It almost makes you sound really boosted and salty. Just saiyan.
-
I am jealous that you get to play against an easy killer like Rin constantly. It would make my challenges A LOT easier if I had that privilege.
-
Because I literally ran out of killer challenges and to prefarm p3 Sadako, I literally HAVE to play survivor and I am not going to lie. It is killing my vibes, bro. I miss playing killer and still do it for the daily. But I cannot bring myself to do it more when I am getting zero bloodpoints.
-
Nothing is confirmed, but I would bet money on the 8th of March which is when Sadako launches.

It could be, maybe they need to reevaluate why they are playing and if it cannot be found here, perhaps they should do something about it.

Eh, I still feel that the perk is quite strong. I definitely run it, especially when I duo. One body block and breakout saves you from mostly anything but the corniest of hook set ups.

How do I get value when I'm chasing survivors in locked generators though?
It all kind of depends, I suppose. It is not always going to give you huge value or anything like that, but blocked generators are blocked generators. That is rarely bad for killer kun.
-
@fulltonon said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2820591#Comment_2820591
It doesn't make any sense?
Killers try to secure progression by killing a survivor before gates opened and they escape, survivors try to secure progression by rushing a generator before it regress to zero, I don't think it's different at all.
The better example for "regression" might be a health state. If I leave that injured survivor off hook, it will heal up again and undo my work. Just as leaving a regressing generator alone would reverse their efforts. Therefore, tunneling is the only rational course of action that a gen rushing survivor would take and yet they are oh so confused by their own logic.
-
Yes, that is called... A medkit. Use that if you want faster and limited heals. You're welcome.

I think it's from killers PoV and I understand it, I don't like corrupt because it's rather hard to get value from this perk.
It is basically one of the best perks in the game that gets value regardless of what you do. Is there a different perk that starts with Corrupt that you people are talking about?

It's not the losing that bothers me, it's a killer essentially ruining the game for a player(s) by taking them out of the game at the start and essentially wasting that persons time. Game are supposed to be fun aren't they?
I feel like my game is ruined when gens pop in less than 5 minutes and my time is wasted. Do you think the survivors care about that? Nah. They teabag even when you purposely let them live, imagine how they act when they actually earn their escape. Lul.

😯 what?
if a Killer cant be OP or 'good' by release they might as well not exist until they are buffed?
Sorry mate you have way harsh expectations, things have to be released and get modified.
She has more or less released. She is playable, we know she is... Alright. It would make sense to buff her for release and if they overdid it, well, you know, they can modify it again.
It makes no sense to be like, "things can change lul" but then write off changes as though they cannot be changed.
-
It is obviously a bug. Was anyone saying anything differently? I mean, I guess I would believe it. Some people, man.

If your game is ruined by you not winning and having fun 100% of the time with everyone pleasing you, then you should not play PVP games. Try L4D2 Co-op mode. PVP games means sometimes you lose and not in the most fair and fun ways. Your issues seem to be toward the idea of PVP games entirely.
I mean, co op games would probably disappoint him as well, better to just stick to single player games. I recommend something calming, like Persona.
-
I suppose as the notice is still up, they still haven't finished somehow? I would contact support. It has been like a month by now. That is just ridiculous.
-
I imagine it is because their parents did an extremely bad job in teaching them manners. Most of them do not bother and, well, you see the results of that in more than just DBD.
Albeit, they magically respect manners face to face, so weird.

The opposite would be better. If you compare the two, the Remake Freddy is MUCH better suited for his original power than Englund's Freddy.
Of course, this is all just fantasy land anyways. No idea what beef Behavior has with the Wes Craven estate, but they do not want smoke, son. And it is REALLY unfortunate because we are missing so many horror icons because of whatever. And yet they agree to contracts roping them into NFTs or deleting maps instead of reskinning them. It is so cringe, bruh.
-
I might take Sadako to high mmr. After I get all my achievements, anyway.

Is Artist the new Rin? "She doesn't have any counterplay if we pretend it doesn't exist!"

Nah... I cannot post why, but let's just say I wouldn't expect a character swap. Ayy.
