In game bad manners doesn't exist people are just too soft when it comes to that sort of thing but as for endgame chat toxicity it's uncalled for there's absolutely no reason to threaten or insult anyone because of what they did in a video game, I think some people just take the game too personal and treat it like it's their real life, like someone came to their house and hit them over the head and t bagged them

I love his his all-or-nothing playstyle but haven't played him as much since topknot can't carry me so hard anymore.
Have you watched lipy? I don't play too too much Oni but if I did I would watch him a lot more. Seen some super cracked things on his channel before
I personally don't like that guy but he is a good player I won't deny that, I have a dislike for him because one time after I went to his chat and told him " gg it was a intense game " he was very rude and trying to trash on me even though I escaped and even pulled off a beamer save (we got 3 out) and it just resulted to him and his chat insulting me for no reason but this was a year ago the last I saw him in game so he could be alot nicer now that his channel has gotten bigger I'm not sure, but I will agree he's a very good oni main .
-
If I'm running head on I will but other than that I don't evade bbq I welcome the chase if they decide to come to me and I just stay on the gen.
-
It's bad because BHVR makes it so hard to report properly and not everyone is live recording every game or has settings to capture the entire game from a quick capture setting, it should be as simple as clicking report and typing that it was a hacker to have the game personally reviewed by someone, or they should just add theater mode where you can actually review the games back and send clips of what the hacker does after the fact like having the option to report the footage in theater mode to BHVR instead of being in the after match screen unable to leave if you want to report them the right way and actually have it looked at.

and el is better than robin but we can't have el :(
Actually we can because they're 18 now so it's perfect
-
It's because the second you try to be nice in this game you get ######### on for it and talked down to, I had a game the other day where I 4 man slugged as Oni with 5 gens up and 2 people immediately DC so I let one wiggle out and pick the other up and then did a little farming so we could all get more points and even opened the gate for them to leave , only to get called a noob in the endgame chat for farming because apparently he was gonna "wreck" me regardless according to him, even though he was playing glow worm simulator when I actually was trying. Moral of all this is don't be try to be nice because people are ######### and probably deserve it.
-
This new season of stranger things has me dying for them to bring the new villian and a survivor to the game, it's such a perfect fit it would be a shame if they didn't try to do it, also Robert Englund plays the villian in this season and having him with voice lines would be absolutely epic, it would definitely be a shut up and take my money type thing .
-
It sucks but there's no way to stop it, as soon as it gets fixed they find another way in, it will always be like this unless they recode the entire game from the ground up and have built in auto ban for things that are clearly impossible to do without hacks.
-
Flashlights honestly aren't hard to deal with but I think for the people who do have trouble they should just allow you to switch killers again during the lobby so if you feel its gonna be rough you can switch it up
-
It works fine for me I just used it last match
-
Really depends on what killer I'm using at the time, which one I like varies based off of that.

I can confirm that with boil and that room u cant reach 100% sure.Tried all the the closest hooks 5 times.
Well I must not have had that RNG yet because everytime Ive played strode there's a hook in the upstairs on the other side of the room I'm pretty sure that you're talking about

But you need a crafting table and 7 sticks so it's balanced!
Lol!! Survivors can't teabag on the way up the ladder how in the world is it balanced?

Yup.
People run the meta because when they don't run the meta, they go up against people running the meta, and remember why they were running the meta.
I agree with this it's like the second I take borrowed time off I get a camping killer and I'm unable to help my teammates without ensuring their own death immediately
-
Afk killers should get banned when they do it for multiple matches that ######### is so annoying, I get they want easier games but that doesn't excuse it
-
"I think survivors should have the option to build a ladder and escape the match"
LMFAO I'm crying right now 🤣🤣

There is no pretense. I've had matches where I downed survivors in houses and there was no hooks in the house and by the time I reached the street, they wiggled out and the same survivor would go back to that house knowing they were safe. When a map forces you to bring Iron Grip or Agitation to make it to a hook for survivors who don't even have Boil Over on & without any hook altering offerings being played, then it's a bad map, which this one is for FAR more than that reason.
I haven't had this issue I've been playing blight with no iron grasp or agitation and ive been making it to hooks just fine, maybe there's a bad RNG version I haven't faced yet but everytime I've went there I haven't had an issue with it
-
Couple it with power struggle and flip flop and have a teammate bring a flashlight to bait the killer into leaving you down and it's a guarantee you get use out of it every time as long as it's not snuffed

With boil over you can't get out of the house and to a hook in time.
Streamers have tested it.
Yes you absolutely can, maybe if you're on console where boil over is alot harsher I can see that but I've already faced this situation and I got them to hooks, it's not impossible the streamers may have missed where the hooks were due to boil over, but there are drop offs in every house there's no excuse unless they're trying to go all the way down stairs to avoid boil over which is a bad play because since the boil over nerf you can afford to drop down as long as they don't have flip flop and you left them slugged for a brief moment before you came back then I could definitely see it happening. Also the perk iron grasp exists that counters that whole play style .

One hook, so even if he does hook one the other guy can kill themselves on hook and nice you can't hook anyone else.
There's more than one hook nearby don't pretend like there aren't at least 2-3 hooks you can reach, I'm not arguing that the strat isn't annoying because it is but there are way worse maps than strode to run that on and the survivors are always guaranteed to lose because if they adopt that strat then nobody is doing gens and always trolling and forcing the wiggle out or getting themselves up with no mither but they always run back to the same area when they employ this strat, regardless they will always lose and it's more of a frustration than an exploit

To be fair hook spawns are pretty trash on haddonfield they remind me of swamp hook spawn distances
Well I just want to point out with boil over most of the hooks are right immediately outside the houses and some in the house , with boil over and it being a new map they couldve been right by a hook and it's not an exploit even though no mither sabo squads are annoying
-
@UnknownKiller said:
I found a new "exploit" by a team of boil overing no mither Steves that basically go to a house where there is a god window at the end that u only have the option to let it slug.
Fix it adding hooks next to the building not close.
If you're talking about strode house there's a hook upstairs that spawns and not only that but all the other houses have openings you can fall out of before they have a good amount of wiggle progress, it's not an exploit it's just a new map and you aren't sure where the hooks spawn like in normal maps you played a thousand times I suggest you learn the hook spawns on the map, as for the no mither trolling, that has been around for a long time and the worst place to have that happen is badham in the downstairs of the preschool and the survivors burn a bloodied blueprint to make basement spawn in shack with breakout and soul guard also in play
-
I would rather not hear survivors screaming at each other in solo and not only that but people would troll and do things just to be annoying, or just have a trash mic, a smoke alarm battery going out etc...I would turn it off or quit playing lol
-
I really believe they're going to buff alot more than they will nerf, keep in mind the true meta is only the top 8-10 perks ran and if those get nerfed then do you really think they'll nerf the other 30 perks? Of course they won't because the only way to shift the meta is to bring those other perks up and drown the current meta out by changing it all at once
-
Knowing BHVR who says they don't buff both sides up with perks all at once? They normally only rework a few at a time but with the amount that's getting changed at once don't be shocked if both sides have some super op stuff that ends up getting nerfed later, they're known for making a perk too strong and then toning it down later on in a game health patch.

unless he hooks the person right next to the hex totem there nothing you can really do
but true the perk is not strong but it can be if used right.
Lol where there's a will there's a way I'll make it happen or die trying because I don't really care I'm having fun and to me going for that is part of the fun, people take this game way too seriously just to get a W and trash talk the other side like they did something special in this game, but to me going for the save against a Noed camper is fun because 90% of the time those players are big boosted and you can get away with it, and if I'm ever wanting to play super serious and I'm worried about Noed I'll just do the totems before the last gen pops, you can usually tell if they're gonna have Noed before it even happens, if it's a low skilled killer or they just don't care about gens you can bet your bottom dollar there's gonna be NOED
-
"Don't unhook, and leave" yea I'm not doing that, if the killer has Noed they're more than likely not very good and I can get the totem and the save in plenty of time, besides there's only five totems to do in the whole map so you can stop it before it starts, I agree that Noed isn't strong but I'm not leaving just because of Noed, I'm not afraid to run around as a 1 hit if it means I can make a play and get out and if I die then so be it because it's a game and that's what makes the game fun is taking risks.
-
It's because the killer blind zone is in the upper chest lower neck area, so from far away a survivor can actually be a little low but if the top of the beam radius is even touching that area the blind will start , and add ONS like the yellow lens widen the beam radius so you can be further off point but still hit a blind with that add on because it covers a wider radius than normal
-
I still have more fun playing killer than survivor if we're being real about it and not because survivor is hard but because it's boring, killer really isn't hard either in my opinion it's just more interactive and I have more to keep up with, I feel like I'm actually playing a game when I play killer, unlike survivor where I can literally eat a snack while I'm playing because if I'm not getting chased I'm holding m1 on a gen and my skill check button is on my mouse too because it's got 15 buttons so I can literally just sit there one handed and repair a gen if I wanted.

Remastered? How dare you! Now she must be nerfed again!
/s
Lol I know it's gonna happen as sad as it is, I'm honestly expecting a total rework at some point even though it's my main killer and I hate for it to be that way
-
I challenge you to play nurse with no addons and only 2 perks of your choice for a month straight and I promise you will be mopping the floor by the end of the month if you endure the hazing you'll get for the first couple weeks you'll notice a big difference in your ability with her, this is how I remastered her after she was nerfed
-
In my opinion dredge is an A tier killer, he checks all the boxes, he has map pressure, anti loop, a somewhat stealth ability once they get it fixed to work properly, and he doesn't feel frustrating to play as vs a swf group, he's right up there with spirit and blight in my book but nurse will always be on her own level because of her ability to ignore any normal safety for survivors.

I think survivors sleep on Aura perks in general. It's easy to dismiss them because - "Hurr-Durr just SWF! FREE KINDRED". But what Aura perks really do is give you pin-point information. It's not "Killer is camping me!" It's "Killer is walking 8 meters on the opposite of the hook and I can approach from here because I have LOS and can easily tell."
Aura perks are nasty when used for fine-macro control.
Aura perks are extremely underrated, I've always said that you can see something easier then someone can communicate it, if you get hooked the killer goes around the jungle gym one way and you tell someone "he's coming your way" then you just kicked a survivor off of a gen whenever the killer could've went to the other side after he got around a wall where you can't see and then you have multiple survivors off gens just from a communication error and if they have dead man switch then kindred can come in clutch.
-
I've had it work with boil over before, I hadn't got flip flop on yoichi yet but I wanted to run the perk and I was at dead dawg saloon, I got carried off the main building and right through the pallet out front, when the killer knows you have boil over they will try to take a more direct pathing to a hook even if it means going through pallets to get you there because they're just trying to get you there without getting hung on any edges or getting swayed too much in one direction.
-
I just wish they would revert Billy without the instasaw, that growl he lets out still never has settled right for me and the overheat mechanic all together was just a bad move by BHVR but now I don't play him very often. because that growling is just annoying and I can't handle it for more than a few matches, Props to any Billy mains out there who still put up with that #########.

RPD
The only thing that's good about RPD is to troll, Get a squad and have one person bring dark theory, blood pact and then have everyone run a head on build and keep looping that office loop with the pallet and side window(on the bottom floor to the right if you're looking at the map from the front door) and theres two lockers in that hallway mid loop, RPD instantly becomes the most fun map in the game lmao you can have one person on gens or just troll with everyone the whole game and never touch one.
-
Shelter woods, Azarov's resting place
Shelter woods is obvious but with Azarov's it's killer sided because the map shape almost guarantees a 3 gen if the killer is smart enough to force the situation, theres almost no gens in the middle they're all on one side or the other.
Lol I can't believe some people here think dead dawg is a killer map, there's so many strong loops in that map and if you've got people with head on looping the main building you can keep a killer darn near the whole game it's honestly one of my favorite maps to play as a survivor.
-
The only thing I'm curious about is if I don't have someone p3 will they lose the tier three version of the perk if they already obtained it in the bloodweb? Considering I have everyone p3 I won't have to worry about this but for example let's say when dredge comes out I get the teachable and stop leveling him, but all of a sudden the system changes will I lose the tier three version of the perk I already have on another killer because the system recognizes dredge isn't p3 yet?
-
I disagree, you don't deserve a free wiggle out after being caught and if it were that way survivors would abuse the ######### out of that until the killer DC and you would have sabo in every single game, how's it fair to the killer that just spent time to down the survivor? See gameplay like you're talking is exactly why I slug when I play killer, I won't even pick up anymore if someone is there I just start slugging because there's too many BS ways to get screwed out of a hook against a good squad
-
These people talking about boon spawns have me dead, you do realize it's hidden because the survivor put it there right? Not because it spawns like a hex, and totems in general have always been in obvious places that's been an issue from day one lol the old crotus prenn asylum comes to mind immediately where it literally spawned just out in the open with no walls, rocks or anything around it was like a light tower in the middle of nowhere, and if I'm being honest even to this day ALL totem spawns are still easy to find so the boon would be just as easy to find as a hex, the issue is nobody wants to waste time to break the boon unless they have to because gens are most likely already done where the boon is placed so what reason is there to go hunting where the gens are done?
-
I hate farming it's so boring , I would rather play a normal game
-
I'm fine with it because of situations where you killed everyone else and a survivor keeps going to an area with no hooks and trying to wiggle out even with the hatch closed just to troll before they go , I usually bleed them out if I didn't plan my hooks carefully but this would just go ahead and end the game instead of stalling out and waiting for them to die on the ground or to the EGC
-
@Crolee said:
I believe that if you manage to get the lucky 4% then you shouldn't be rewarded even more by having DS.
tell me why/why not
I think you should have it still, the only situation it's gonna hurt you is if you're camping and tunneling, or the EGC, but in reality why shouldn't it activate is a better question? If you're having a problem with DS it's probably you tunneling, if that's your thing I suggest playing a killer like PH that ignores BT and DS and even the 4% all together

Or ya know, e key.
I wouldn't consider it crutch just because most of the time someone will milk the loop to use dead hard, I'm pretty sure that's what you're implying anyway , these perks require you to be bad at the game literally lol whiffing alot or blowing skill checks just to have the perk activate
-
@Bwsted said:
They basically made it a griefing perk by adding the extra penalty. You can follow teammates around and regress gens.
I understand they don't like the idea of people going afk on gens, hence why they thought the penalty MIGHT have been a good idea. But as usual theory =/= practice. The perk is meant to be training wheels. The thing is, there's ALREADY a penalty when you miss a skillcheck. With the extra penalty, they just made it like every time the training wheels saves you from falling, then someone comes to you and slaps you in the face for failing.
Be honest though how many times has that actually happened to you? I can't even remember the last time I saw someone running that perk if I'm being honest
-

but now killer stop playing, and move on to greener pastures.
And next it is difficult to notice SWF by hiding name(maybe profile too)
Why do bear the burden of any player choosing SWF?
I play killer to max grade before I even touch survivor every reset and that's simply just your opinion and doesn't speak for everyone, if you made swf optional it would kill the game for good and all just to please low skilled players, it's the equivalent of survivors coming on here saying they should be able to pick what killers they face because some aren't fun, don't worry the custom match bots will be here soon for all these people complaining.
-
Yea I'm not sure about that I only click if I mindgame them , or get them to whiff at a window
-
I actually like poised I disagree on it being a bad perk lol but I wouldnt argue with the suggestions youve made it could use a small buff
-
Well hopefully they don't completely destroy the perk otherwise you're gonna see a ton of sprint burst and lithe complaints next, I myself prefer sprint burst over dead hard but I still don't want to see the perk be completely useless
