Devour Hope Tier 3 or Monstrous Shrine Tier 1...
I just cant decide which one to pick from the bloodweb, ive never faced such a difficult challenge before
Obviously Monstrous Shrine. It’s secretly being buffed next chapter into the most OP perk in the game.

As a Plague main I feel she is in a perfectly fine and healthy spot. No changes needed.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
No I don't think the Plague's form of giving infection should also insta-down survivors, as this would make Corrupt Purge substantially weaker than her main power.
I also don't think her Corrupt Purge should instantly down either. Let's look at all of these killers you've listed:
- Oni, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Leatherface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Billy, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Jamesface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Myers, must get close to the survivor to damage them
Now, let's look at Plague:
- Is a ranged killer, does not need to get close to the survivor to damage them.
We've all seen how nuts strong Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt was, making Corrupt Purge literally even better than that combo would be a stupid idea.
Especially considering the lack of accuracy required.

I started playing when the plague chapter game out, i thought she was so cool and gross and scary. and i remember for the longest time i didnt know head on was a perk and i kept trying to stun the killer cause i thought it was just a game mechanic, oh i miss the days of being innocent and new sometimes
Demise of The Faithful is probably my favourite chapter too.

I think all Hexes are fine except Blood Favour and Retribution.
Blood Favour needs a serious buff. What? I don’t know. It’s a perk they need to be careful with because it could easily become overpowering.
Retribution should always apply Oblivious to every survivor no matter whether a dull or Hex totem is cleansed, in conjunction with the 10 second aura reveal upon cleansing Hexes.

@Adeloo said:
should be within your terror radius and not 16m from location, so pallet would get blocked as you move around the map during the chase.
And the cooldown should be 30/25/20 sec similar to Quick and Quiet.
BF needs a buff, but those ideas are probably a little too strong. Imagine that on a map like Midwich or Gideon, with very few vaults. Wouldn’t be balanced.
-
@Farshad7913 said:
Here's the description of the perk: When a Survivor is hit with a basic attack, pallets within 16 meters of your location are held in place by The Entity for 15 seconds. These pallets cannot be pulled down.
Hex: Blood Favor has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.
yesterday I did a 1v1 with one friend and i accidentally picked this perk, I hit him at the pallet in front of the jungle gym, he didn't know I had this perk so instead of leaving for the next loop he stayed and jumped the window. i also had bamboozle so i vaulted the window, as soon as i vaulted the window he came back to the pallet and by then the pallet was unblocked.
this perk is unbelievably trash, firstly it only has a 16 meters range so you have to first be lucky enough to have a pallet near enough for it to start working. secondly it stays active for only 15 seconds. 15 SECONDS!!! when you hit a survivor and they hold W it takes more then 20 seconds for you to catch up and if the for some reason decide to stay at the blocked pallet, by the time it takes you to finish the attack cooldown it has already passed 3 seconds sop now they only have to go around the loop 1 or 2 times before its unblocked.
and then for some reason this GOD TIER perk has a 60/50/40 second cooldown too so you don't abuse the power the entity gave you, great.
and for some mindboggling reason this poor excuse of a digital code is a HEX perk too so it can be taken away!
I mean hey if you had this perk you already started with 3 perk so it doesn't matter.
Honestly, in my opinion I think that the only 2 purposes the perk serves is, 1) if you achieve a down at a pallet before they’ve had a chance to drop it, it makes it safe to do a pick up without fear of a pallet save, and 2) supposed to force a survivor you’ve injured away from the loop.
I don’t think Blood Favour is meant to do more than that.

Yeah, I'd love that. I wonder what they could come up with. Or more perks like Autodidact. Hinders you in the beginning but the more you get to use it, the stronger it becomes.
Yeah something that gives permanent Hindered, but faster repair speed? Maybe.

No.
Even though I’m a pretty hardcore Castlevania fan, I feel like that franchise definitely doesn’t fit in DBD at all.
-
@GannTM said:
Doesn’t that completely remove the whole point of the perk? Trail of Torment, just like Tinkerer, Dark Devotion, and any other perk that makes you go undetectable is meant for killers to get surprise attacks. You put in that aura reading ability for the survivors and it completely gets rid of the purpose because they’ll be able to see it coming and will likely be more attentive about it.
I think Trail of Torment would be a decent perk if the survivors didn’t know that the killer is using the perk. I think it won’t be too strong and could offer another fun and above average perk that killers could use. Let’s be real, we’re all getting sick of the usual meta perks so let’s shake things up, not that I think Trail of Torment will be meta with this buff but it will still be more worth running.
So that you can use it as a trap

@GannTM said:
What about No Mither, Self Care, For The People, and Mettle of Man?
It’s actually possible to proc MoM with No Mither, and totally catches the killer off guard.

An extra perk slot? Any other ideas?
They don’t need the buff that many melodramatically make it out to be. Solo isn’t that bad. The problem is the over reliance on second chance perks at the expense of the array of info/aura perks available. If a solo plays cautious enough, and pays extra special attention to what’s going on, second chance perks are rarely needed. Simply running Bond can help get you out of lots of dangerous situations, whilst still giving plenty of usable information to actually be productive towards the objective and helping the team.

I think it's fine on most killers because chasing is a thing and the Devs failed to live up to their promise of an Early Game Collapse, it's just that on the killers like Spirit or Nurse it's an uncounterable and overwhelming early snowball because there's no defence against them.
Exactly. With Blight being a close 2nd to both of them.

I honestly don't find it fun. It's just too strong. 20 seconds into a trial and you've already got a down, and that's assuming you were taking it easy.
I'm just gonna stick to my Hexes.
I don’t like Lethal Pursuer either. Not because of it’s function, but because of how skewed in the killers favour it is for them to get a down that quick, especially if it’s a first hook camp.
-
A lot.
-
You can move, but the survivors have 5 seconds to crush you.

@gendoss said:
Nah I think Plague is perfectly fine. If you want to add something small like that then whatever but it shouldn't break pallets or anything like that.
Agreed. She’s already ridiculously strong in the hands of a smart player.
-
What do you mean?
It doesn’t need to “activate”. You just equip the perk.
-
I use portals as traps.
- place one out of sight near gens being worked on.
- Place an obvious one right next to a gen I’ve just chased survivors off of.
- If I don’t get an easy down, I go to the portal I placed down next to the gen and teleport to the other one close by just out of sight.
- Immediately use Of The Abyss to see if Killer Instinct is triggered near the gen I just teleported from because 9 times out of 10 survivors can’t resist rushing in as fast as possible to try and close the portal.
- Creep up and profit with a free shred or free hit/down.
With a clever set up of portals not too far from each other, you can have quite a web of great tracking, and will be difficult for survivors to close many without you first knowing about it and reaching there in time to get hits out of their Oblivious status effect, which is far more effective than his Undetectable because the portal cleansing sounds muffle Demo’s steps, and the survivors will be more focused on the skillchecks.

There’s are 30 second timer on it so it can still be used to body block things like shack
Exactly. It’s clear to me that the devs only intended the body blocking to be used as a chase/loop tool. It was just an oversight that they didn’t think of ways players would indefinitely block off access to certain areas. Now with a 30 second timer that exploit can no longer occur indefinitely.

Honestly i hate how long it takes to switch between the too. Its awful. I didnt play tgem before that was changed but they need to put it back cause its #########.
Other than that though theyre pretty great. I got adept like an hour ago first time i tried and all of their perks combined with power was useful to that end.
They’d be WAY too oppressive if instant or faster switching occurred. Plus it would be impossible to trick/bait survivors into running up to Victor because survivors currently think they have enough time to crush him, but with a shorter switch time they won’t take the risk.

No , Charlotte loses collision now after a certain amount of time.
That’s what “can’t indefinitely” means. I know she loses collision after a certain time frame, which is fine. For the purposes of anti looping when unleashing Victor, Charlotte won’t lose collusion before a hit or down occurs.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Nothing. Victor is her power after all
Exactly. Seemingly too many are caught up in the idea that only controlling Victor has any merit, without realising HOW Charlotte can take advantage of what else Victor offers.

I had my first Twin match in absolute ages today! I was sacrificed and do not regret it - it's such a fun killer to face, and Charlotte's figure is very intimidating for some reason! Victor is just very comical, which does somewhat ruin the illusion, but this was a great killer idea and I don't know why a vocal group of people had such an issue with them!
Yeah versing Twins is very intimidating. They have this great combo of the anxiety of never knowing where Victor is till he’s close, Charlotte’s menacing TR music and Chase music, and the way she trudges and stomps about with her big solid frame.

Well Twins are a killer I usually play with the best addons every game. It’s sooo hard to want to give up forest stew and toy sword to give victor more utility.
Both of those addons combined make him like twice as strong in a chase and way more enjoyable to play.
I don’t mind Toy Sword, or his speed add ons. Personally I think that Twins have no useless add ons, except perhaps Baby Teeth.
15 seconds of blindness after removing Victor seems pissy. I kinda get that “well while Victor is latched on they’re already suffering Oblivious, Incapacitated, and Broken. We don’t want to overwhelm players with a barrage of too many status effects.” But still... it should be something more useful than 15 seconds of Blindness AFTER removing Victor.

I don't play killer super often but when I do a lot of times I get those games where it's just pure destruction and they can't get a single gen done. It doesn't have much to do with my killer skill but more so the survivor's skill.
Do most killers really not feel bad when the survivors can barely do anything against you because in those situations I feel like I have to give someone hatch and it really pains me to keep hooking over and over. It feels like I'm ruining people's games because I hate it when I can be in those games as a survivor too.
So how do you handle that?
Yeah.
If I’ve killed 2 survivors, and no gens are repaired yet, or only 1, and I’ve observed that pretty much everybody was really struggling to cope, i’ll start signalling to the remaining survivors to finish gens and farm.

Learning twins is probably one of the most unfun experiences you can have in this game, but after you've learned them you almost never lose a match and matches are always guaranteed to be 8min or more so no genrushing.
However, the very very few games you do lose are incredibly painful.
I will hard agree that learning to play them is a real miserable experience. Missing pounces and getting crushed never feels good. It’s taken me a while to just take a deep breath and try and not get bothered by missing and getting crushed. I still get frustrated sometimes, but i have learned to handle it better.

I just don’t see where the silent pounces fit into it. It’s really hard to justify anything except victor speed and pounce charge reduction.
What do you mean? You can start to charge Pounce just outside of the audible range survivors can hear Victor, and if you use Cat’s Eye you can continue to creep forward completely silent.
Long range pounces are basically stealth play.

As a red tank solo survivor I see a lot of Self Care, never run it myself. But in solos this perk is used a lot. Same goes with rank 8+, so I can easily see that this is the most used perk - especially when the most used survivor is Claudette.
I also see A LOT of Wraith, they did buff him during this year so it is not weird he is used a lot now.
Don’t forget that Wraiths accessible in the base game, and anyone doing a weekend trial. Invisibility is always going to be appealing to beginners.

Looks like you're now a Hoarder main, on these guys at least.
It’s probably the one perk I never remove from them because of how much value the Twins get out of it if Victor is immediately sent in the direction of a notification (if there isn’t anything else of high priority)

@gendoss said:
The Twins are extremely powerful. Luckily it's kind of like a Hag situation where nobody plays as them. Possibly because they're so campy.
To clarify my position.
When someone is hooked, getting Victor latched onto someone, then have Charlotte chase someone else, actually puts a lot of pressure on the team, rather than keeping Charlotte or Victor parked near a hook.
-

The weird thing is, as much as I’m aware that camping can be done more successfully with Twins than with some other killers, IMO it’s really not the best way to use them. Personally, I want to get Victor onto the back of a healthy survivor again as soon as possible. Doing this regularly enough causes immense stall when Charlotte is then harassing an entirely different survivor altogether.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
I do greatly enjoy playing as The Twins. They can be majorly frustrating as sometimes the game doesn't work well (I have Victor slam into the survivor, having his path slightly divert even so I know the game recognized he hit something but then not latch on) but overall they're a blast to play as.
It is also fun to do literal jump scare Victor as I jump on a survivor working on a gen who had no idea I was there
Sneaking up to survivors on gens as Victor with Cat’s Eye is even MORE funny.

share this
And you have proof of this?

So In my expert opinion as a survivor main I think Distortion should be buffed and have a different effect.
So here is my suggested change
Distortion
All killers aura reading ranges are decreased by 12/14/16 meters.
When the killer reads your aura you leave no scratch marks for 8 seconds.
So you may be wondering what does sole survivor have to do with this. Well it occurred to me that this change would make sole survivor completely useless since it's a better version of it so here is my suggested changed to sole survivor.
Sole Survivor
As more of your friends fall to the killer your determined to escape alive.
Whenever your the obsession You gain a permanent 3% increase in healing, repairing, and unlocking speeds.
Each time a survivor other then yourself is killed or sacrificed you gain a token up to a maximum of 3 tokens. For each token you have you gain an additional 2/4/6% increase in healing, repairing, and unlocking speeds for every token you have.
Increases your odds of becoming the obsession. If you are not the obsession Sole Survivor is deactivated.
How are these ideas?
This would make the Laurie adept very difficult in games where teammates start dying off. Currently Sole Survivor paired with OoO mitigates the dangers of OoO when the team is reduced to 2 survivors.
