Presumably anything, according to most anyone playing this game.

Title already explains what I want. I often play Plague but today I finally faced her after the new patch and oh boy....Her smoking weapon is able to be seen basically all across the map + she leaves like a 2-3 metres long trail of it. She doesn't even need to have a heartbeat cause I can see her coming.
Does her weapon have to smoke that much?
Yes. She has a ranged ability. Survivors need more “heads up” than simply the TR. Especially if she uses Dark Devotion or any other “undetectable” perk.

So was Clowns.

Now, before you leave that comment like, "I don't need to be educated stop treating me like a child!" This is just for the people that have lost their manners. (Sometimes, myself included.) But let's take a second and review some obvious thing that some of us have forgotten.
1). Don't get mad at bait or meme threads.
Obviously. I made a "Freddy should get stunned by fake pallets" post the other day and only one person even noticed I was joking. One person even got mad and defensive.
2). Consider any possible skill gap.
Many people argue about a perk-that-shall-not-cause-contriversy-in-this-thread and it's viability. Some come with killers, killer perks, there are so many possible things that take skill that you or the person may have. Which brings me to the next rule...
3). Consider their view on the game.
Experienced players, newbies, survivors, killers, hybrids. Everyone could be sorted into one of these groups. It's your job to consider their views before think, "mine is better!!!"
4). Don't make DS threads
Not Etiquette, but I'd like to not see a DS or Spirit thread for a day or two. Please.
5). Try not to be toxic. Keep your cool.
Everytime you get mad at someone else's view and you leave a toxic comment, it fuels the fire. They then troll you for your reaction. (Might or might not be guilty of this.)
That brings me to the conclusion of this thread. I probably missed a lot but I'm too small brained to think of anything else. (Review 4 again)
Or people could just remain familiar with the forum guidelines...

Relax. They might review him and decide nothing needs to be changed, or just be given the slightest of tweaks.

If you've looked at the majority of these forums, they are almost all speculative complaints about how toxic the other side of the aisle is.
And I said this forum really needs to stop doing that. It isn’t constructive. It doesn’t add to any conversation. It’s just noise.

Yeah man. Because they don't know how blood favor works. Now i give you an example. What wouldve happened when the survivor would just use his sprintburst to leave the area and search another tile?
If you catch them out in the open, then they’re using their sprint to reach a tile, and not realising the pallet there is blocked till it’s too late.

Context:
I know I still Suck at playing "The Blight", on my first few rounds as him I tried no Add Ons so I can feel how strong his Base Kit is and I get absolutely Rekt. His Power is hard to use on normal loops and Survivors tends to realize his Lethal Charge Lunge is so hard to pull so they just move to your side and you get past them.
After like 5 Trials I use this Brown Add On "Compound Seven", for those who don't know the Add On made you automatically look at the Survivor nearest to you on a 16 meters radius and would you LOOK AT IT, IT MADE NORMAL LOOPS Manageable! I wish this was Base Kit for him like how when you're playing "The Hag" after you teleport you automatically face the Survivor. I don't want another Killer like "The Demogorgon" that every trial I need to use the "Rat Liver" Add On on him.
No, please don’t.
I’ve actually had compound seven screw me over more times than it helps.

If it helps they're definitely not talking about nerfing him, that's for sure! They said the buff to his throwing speed that he got in the Silent Hill patch was a first step, basically, so I'm guessing they're looking at maybe a secondary power or something for him. Maybe something like letting him drink from bottles to buff himself up? Who knows?
I’m gonna guess that the removal of the slow during his cooldown was a testing phase. I’m guessing the devs think the same as me: Clown could accidentally become overpowered by the smallest of changes (for players using Clown properly), and they want to avoid that occurring.

im assuming your a clown main lol, but i think the effects need to stack kinda like doc
I don’t know about that. Clown’s in an interesting position in that he could easily be made way too overpowered in a chase by the seemingly smallest buffs.
When used properly to force survivors to run through all of the gas, or trick them into avoiding it, Clown is incredibly oppressive and ends chases insanely fast.
-
I’m both excited and nervous about upcoming Clown updates. I most definitely will be angry about a rework, or dramatic change from his current power.

Yes or no? If yes, what would you add? Honestly, I would like Shadowborn to reveal the aura of survivors within 10 meters when you have the undetectable status effect.

This.
Plague is just plagued with bugs. 🤓
I even predicted this before the chapter release.
She’s just so routinely, and predictably afflicted with new bugs every chapter, and every mid chapter.
They’ll fix this, and next mid chapter she’ll have some new bug annoying Plague players.
-
@TruffleTurtle said:
There was a bug beforehand that messed with her arch of her vomit that lasted 4 like a month. Thankfully is was fixed. However now theres another bug to where she rubberbands all over the place after puking on something. Please try and fix her soon I really wanna play her but these bugs have made it difficult. And before anyone asks I already made a bug report
She is always bugged. Like Nurse level bugged.
I love her, but every patch or update brings a new problem to Plague. It’s been this way since her release.

This is a ridiculous test. You were given solutions to your problem and this test outlaws everyone of those solutions. Any survivor can hide from the killer the whole game with these conditions. Every idea you were given, you came up with some BS excuse as to why you want use it. Don't complain about a problem if you won't accept any of the solutions you are given to fix the problem. The problem isn't survivors doing the exact thing they are supposed to do, it's you wanting to be babied.

This test isn't ridiculous. 2 of the most common suggestions were to "use my eyes" and "learn the spawn points". These are both things you can do in this test.
Both of you have valid points.
Yes, YOU should be learning to get better attuned to environmental cues to find survivors, particularly crows.
But as stated their are perks that can be used to help track/hunt and you seem to be unwilling to use them to help you with a blatant problem you say you’re having.
You can’t cover every contingency. You can either have a load out for a particular strategy, or complimenting your strengths, or covering your weaknesses. Your choice.

@YehBoiGoku said:
They spawn on the opposite side of the map from you. Putting on corrupt improves this ten fold. You also run surveillance although I heard they "fixed" it which is never a good sign.
This isn’t always true, and you’d know this from playing survivor as well.
You can travel across the map only to find that the survivors quickly pop a gen that was near your spawn point just outside of your TR. They must’ve spawned there. No way they had the time to travel there AND pop it so quick.

@bjorksnas said:
Whispers, discordance or just use your eyes
It also helps to be keeping an eye on the “horizon” (so to speak) for crow activity. Learning to be extra sensitive to that has helped me get into my first chases quick.

I went from rank 3 to 10 in a 24 hour period because pretty much every Blight game was a depip and occasional safety pip.
BUT....
I’m finally getting getting used to him and enjoying myself, and even winning now.

@The_Krapper said:
But you're just teaching bad survivors who already don't understand they can gain big distance off a hit to start using it to go to safer tiles preserving pallets in certain zones of the map then when your hex goes mid match all the pallets are up still because you didn't eradicate any safe zones
Everybody seems to be looking at it from hitting the survivor at one tile, and they run to the next tile to avoid this being an issue.
Nobody seems to be considering it’s effect when you hit a survivor BEFORE they reach tiles. That’s how I’ve ended up with downs at loops that I otherwise probably wouldn’t have gotten so quickly.
It only has to be effective a few times to save the killer a lot of chase time, and start getting survivors wasting time finding the hex.

I had the same thought on Compound 7. I don't like control being wrestled away from me.
It just didn’t seem helpful most of the time. Every time I’m turned to “face” a survivor, 99% of the time I’m staring at an obstruction.

bait?
No. A personal observation.

@immortalls96 said:
The issue isnt the hex status..its the range..16 meters is too short because a sprint burst will easily carry a survivor out of range..and having a cd means the effect should be worth it since it's also a hex..but currently its niche at best..that's what your not grasping
I wouldn’t be opposed to the range being increased.
That said I have successfully ended chases due to survivors going for a tile with a blocked pallet.

I'm still not sure what to think of this perk. I have played 10 games with Ruin + Undying (Pyramid Head) and in my opinion it doesn't really help that much. Probably this combination will be much stronger for mobility killers, but I will keep testing it.
The point isn’t to use Undying to actively protect totems (if you’re close enough to a survivor aura then go for it).
The point is that Undying + any other hex significantly helps stall the match.
Look at your example: Ruin + Undying. The survivors decide to hunt down Ruin. One of two things happens when they find and cleanse a Hex totem. It’s either Undying, which means they still need to waste time finding Ruin. Or they’ve cleansed Ruin only to have it jump to another dull totem. Once survivors realise Undying is in play they’re kinda forced to NOT ignore dull totems they come across either. It’s a snowball of extra time the survivors need to waste, time freely given to you, the killer.

It made me laugh so much. The killer must have been having a field day. I know it’s all down to luck, but if Hex: Undying doesn’t get cleansed first, it adds to some great and scary matches.
Undying is undoubtedly going to help extend matches, A LOT.

I am ok with this addon being as strong as it is if it was an ultra-rare or had some kind of trade off, but it's a green addon meaning you can quite possibly bring it on every game and there is literally no counterplay to it. Zero. Nada you can do as a survivor to avoid getting found or hit.
I can slap on whispers and just bounce around the moment it lights on. Boom wallhacks with no penalty. Where's the skill on that? Get to a tile and hit a wall once and you know exactly where they're going. This crap is like the old prayer beads and as a killer main I really don't think it's fair. I just wonder how in the world did the devs agree that this was weaker than either one of his red addons. Shouldn't they after 4 years know what makes an addon strong or weak? Meanwhile most killers' "ultra-rare" addons (PH, Hag, Billy, Deathslinger, etc) are mediocre at best and sometimes detrimental to your kit.
Just how? How is it possible that the entire playerbase can see these things but the devs are like yeah this addon is mid-tier let's just leave it at green rarity...beats me.
Distortion, Sole Survivor, Off The Record (to an extent).
In particular Sole Survivor. If just one other survivor is dead, then compound 21 is completely useless against you

@Ryuhi said:
learn how to play injured. He can't down you with his power, and you have to be caught out pretty badly for him to use it to close distance. Just loop him like any other m1 killer and waste his time while the gens fly.
Also, don't self care against him. Especially if he's running the build you mentioned.
That’s the whole point of Legion. They screw with the whole “rush while injured” mentality by forcing mending and time wasting on survivors on a regular basis, and staying injured isn’t going to bypass that.

KereDog, you need to work on your people skills. Hell, I need to do that too. :) A Survivor of your Rank already knows the advice I gave. And if you got to where you are now, you also know that camping is just part of the game. Nothing inside the game, within the rules, is so-called Toxic. Survivors want to survive. Killers want to kill. I've gotten a whole group down in the basement with a Spooky Myers before. Altruistic bunch... and they would see me leave... and assume I wasn't camping the basement because I was a good ways away. Spooky can see them. I can time my descent so that I can grab them out of the unhook. I did that three times in a row. It is just how the game is played. What they should have done is gotten me into a chase (Spooky is slow) and made SURE I was further away.
Bad behavior is salt before and after a game. It is calling people stupid because they disagree with you. You are passionate about the subject. Everyone is passionate about their personal pet peeve. Humble in victory, gracious in defeat. These are words to live by. Stay away the basement. Problem solved.
Well said

But on the same token, I'm sure you believe that perks that enable survivors to work around camping killers are unfair, thus making the game survivor-sided.
This forum really needs to stop speculating on what other people think, and stop putting words in other people’s mouths.

Or if the 30 seconds expires, also then the cooldown starts.

The thing is that you are using his power on loops, try using them in between loops, when you are in a loop play like a normal m1 killer.
Use both brown addons, the one that turns your camera to the nearest survivor and the one that lets you know where you are going to hit/bounce, it will help you.
No, I stopped using the power at loops pretty quickly. So there is little way to mind game a loop. Making the power utterly pointless. You can even fake a rush.

Basement itself is not toxic, but it enables toxic play styles like camping, sometimes you can't avoid chasing near it. There's just nothing fun about basement what so ever.
Camping isn’t toxic. It’s within the game rules. There’s nothing in the game rules that explicitly states a killer must give survivors 2 hook escapes.

Not really that new and okay maybe it isn't OP but even a lot of people agree that it enables bad play style and toxic ######### like camping and a lot of the time on certain killers getting people out of the basement is way ######### harder than it should be, and you can't argue that.
It’s not toxic.
Survivors need to ensure theyre aware of the basement location, and not lead a chase near it.
There are new offerings now to help avoid the basement

It makes no sense to me why Hex: Blood Favors needs both a cool down and a hex.... it’s really not strong enough to warrant these downsides imo. Hitting a survivor already gives them a speed boost to travel to another loop and it only blocks pallets within 16m... I feel like all it really needs is the cool down to be balanced.
I think the point is to use it with Undying to (hopefully) get survivors wasting loads of time trying to get rid of the pallet blocking altogether.

So as the title suggests since the new update I have have experience heavy loss of FPS lately especially on the new graphics update map as killer. I can’t say much as survivor since I been trying to get better at the blight as of late but I’m curious to know if you have experience any,especially on the new graphics updated maps as well?
Also the other issues that I have face is when I want to break pallet, hook survivor or vault a window the input just won’t go through ( which is pretty annoying and that it can cost a game).Now I don’t know if that’s a me issue. But I have never experience that kind of issues on any other games before just this one.
I just wish that we as a console player could get an optimizations for the game on console. But I doubt that it will come anytime soon.
I’ve actually had a significant improvement in FPS on my PS4, and the game is running mostly at 60fps for me
