I semi regularly play 5 Killers, this being Demogorgon (duh), Oni, Onryō, Blight and Executioner.
The only reason Myers is up there is because I used to play him a while ago and I wasn't that bad.
I don't play Nemesis or Artist often. If I want to play Nemesis, I will play Demogorgon instead but whenever I do play him, I'm OK. Same goes for Artist, I'm not good with her and I'd rather play with someone else, but when I do I don't do that bad.
I play Plague from time to time, Cenobite aswell, they're not really m y type.
Hag is a weird one. I play twice per year tops, but whenever I do, I do ok with a nice 3-Gen.
Bad Killers I'm just bad with.
Killers I don't play as are Killers I don't like. Most of them are either weak, are hard to play on console, are stealth Killers (I don't like stealth Killers that much) or it's Nurse

I remember when the no healing meta was gonna kill dbd because it encouraged genrushing. Oh well, I guess there's no pleasing everyone.
I think everyone would gladly go back to the days of no healing. Atleast Dead Hard granted 2 Health States and not 3, and splitting pressure wasn't almost impossible.
With the new slowdown Perks Killers have been getting, "genrushing" wouldn't be as bad either

Trapper is tired of being the worst Killer in the game, he just wants for it to be over
-
I've been having the same experience. Grim Pantry is everywhere all of a sudden

Think with me, If you see a little detail that reminds you a character you really like, and at the end, this character doesn't appear, would you be happy? This can be toxic only if fnaf fans exaggerating, and this is not the case, I think
I am (was) a FNaF fan, I know what you're talking about. This doesn't excuse the fact that FNaF fans were calling the chapter a flop before it even came out or straight up ignoring every hint that came out or finding a way to link it up with FNaF
-
@mr7ba_bk_ said:
Me: yes, please. The FNAF community is really big, so the game will have more players than the normal, and new players too. Just see how the players got mad when Pinhead entered in game instead of Springtrap.
FNaF fans being mad a different Killer entered the Fog instead of Springtrap shows how toxic they can be
-
There's no difference between console and PC
-
I'm glad it's gone
-
I've only played against the Onryō once, but they weren't toxic or anything
-
It's a good and balanced Perk. It has a few drawbacks, doesn't synergize with every meta Perk, but it goes hand in hand with PR and PGTW, 2 Perks that are already pretty good
-
I remember the days of PWYF Twins, such a shame they nerfed it

You forgot CoH

Well looks like you are rly desperate for a win then, and tunneling is just being bad at the game it literally means you have no game sense and cant split map pressure.
Try splitting up pressure with CoH.
Tunneling, when used correctly, shows more game knowledge and game sense than getting 12 Hooks ever will.

My "bad" killer rn is Sadako (and Wraith and Speed Limiter Bubba but to a lesser degree). I love her playstyle and power and she feels so refreshing to play, I absolutely adore her and cannot express this enough. I think she's a lot better than people give her credit for (though nowhere near strong lmao) and I love her to death already.
Delete COH tho and she'll be substantially better.
Not only will Sadako be better if CoH was nerfed, the whole game would be better. 3-Genning wouldn't be as bad, Hit N Run will get revived, tunneling probably won't be as common either
-
Once she and Blight aren't the only Killers that will be consistently good at high MMR, maybe.
You are not touching Nurse until atleast 90% of the Killer roster is viable
-
Killers should get Adept when er they get a 4k with their Teachables, or when they get a 3k and a Survivor gets out through Hatch. No one likes getting their Adept stolen by an RNG, pity escape for losing the game, mechanic
-
We still have about a year or so before the devs will do something about CoH, Mikaela is selling well isn't she?
-
Alien: Isolation

Those are the "Stop cheating" bars. If you're using any resolution that gives an unfair advantage, those pop up
-
Yes, I find a lot of Killers meh or boring
-
When did the devs say camping wasn't intended?
-
How would Alien not fit?
-
Yes
-
I don't know, I don't she is all that bad
-
The graphics were way worse, but the atmosphere was way better
-
I'm currently running Enduring/PR/Call Of Brine whatever I'm feeling for the 4th slot with Bloody Fingernail/Cabin Sign and Ring Drawing.
If I had luck with the Bloodweb, my build would be something like BBQ/PR/DMS/Corrupt Intervention with the Iridescent Add-on that turns TV's on and Cabin Sign. Infinite teleports
-
Pinky Finger has the same counter as normal Clown, just pre drop Pallets.
As for the camping situation, it makes him a worse Bubba, just do gens and get out
-
######### this ######### ######### Perk

Honestly, unless you like Ringu more than Stranger Things, not really

The thing I hate the most about 360s is that it messes up with the aim "assist" and forces you to miss your attack

It would also kick it down to a spot somewhere between No Mither and Autodidact, in that it's more of a killer perk than a survivor perk. Finite AND the killer can turn it into a hex?
Make the heal speed boost exclude medkit healing and not apply to the self-heal. That way you still need to coordinate around it.
Not really. It'd make it 'high risk-high reward'. Get a free heal for the whole team if placed properly or make it a detriment if not
-
You atleast play Hillbilly. I get a migraine whenever I think about playing him
-
You're joking right?

While I don't think she is that bad, I believe she's around B tier, I wouldn't be opposed to see her get some buffs, something akin to this
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
As I've previously stated, I believe Sadako is in a pretty good spot currently. That doesn't mean I don't think she could use a few buffs, along with some nerfs to balance out the proposed buffs, to feel more "threatening", especially her Condemnation mechanic.
Here are the changes I thought of:
-Sadako should not have a Lullaby while demanifested.
She's the only stealth Killer we currently have that has a Lullaby and also has the Undetectable Status Effect.
-Sadako should not lose speed while demanifesting.
I don't think Sadako should slow down when she turns Undetectable, as it makes her feel clunky and doesn't really serve a gameplay purpose.
She should however keep her slowdown whenever she does exit her stealth
-TV's should have a 24 Meter Condemn-Radius.
16 Meters is a bit little in my opinion, and 24 Meters would also fix the problem with TV's spawning in a wonky position, not allowing them to condemn Survivors.
-Projection TV cooldown should be lowered to 60 seconds.
100 seconds is too long, it's longer than a whole Generator.
-Bloody Fingernail Add-on should be base-kit.
Her current speed boost upon projecting to a TV is a bit short. Either make the Bloody Fingernail Add-on base-kit or buff the base-kit by 25% and nerf the Add-on to a 25% boost.
-Condemnation now builds up passively, 1 stack every 25 seconds, once a Survivor gets 3 stacks of Condemnation from either Projection or from turning TV's off.
This would make Condemnation more threatening if a Survivor decides to ignore it.
-Holding a Tape would increase the passive Condemnation build up by 20%.
With this change, holding a Tape while having 3 or more stacks would be extremely dangerous and would force Survivors to quickly remove the Condemnation.
-Well Stone Add-on should be buffed to 7.5 seconds.
If turning a TV off disabled it by 75 seconds, this Add-on should be buffed aswell.
-Fully condemned Survivors should be Exposed.
This would help Sadako deal with how quickly the Tape can be inserted after getting a hit.
Here are a few nerfs she could have to balance out her buffs:
-Turning off a TV's turns it off for 75 seconds.
This would make turning off a TV more practical and useful, while also making Survivors interact with the Condemnation mechanic more.
-Cabin Sign Add-on should get nerfed to 7.5 seconds.
If the Projection cooldown were to get buffed to 60 seconds, this Add-on should get nerfed aswell.
-Condemnation stacks, when carrying a Tape, should increase every 35 seconds.
With Sadako's Condemnation being more potent now that it passively build up every 25 seconds along with the range of the TV's being buffed to 24 Meters, holding a Tape earlier on shouldn't be as punishing.
These were a few buffs and nerfs I thought off that Sadako could receive to be more potent. If anyone has feedback or changes of their own, they'd be greatly appreciated
-
To play as? Meh. He feels a bit clunky to play.
To play against? It's a treat. Dodging his Punishment Of The Damned attack is pretty fun, not on the level of Demogorgon's Shred however
-
I enjoy her way more than I thought I would. She's pretty fun and I don't think she's that bad to begin with. However, I wouldn't be opposed to her getting a few buffs as stated here

I haven't gotten all the Perks I want on her but here's what I'm currently running:
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Call Of Brine, Forced Penance and the 4th Perk slot depends on what I'm feeling and what I have. Usually it's either Thrilling Tremors, but if I feel exotic, I might run Fearmonger or A Nurse's Calling.
As for Add-ons, I don't have that many to experiment with, but my current favorites are Ring Drawing, Well Stone, Yoichi's Fishing Net and Cabin Sign

Give her can be able to go through pallet and wall , when demanifestation and every problem will get fixed.
She just want anti loop in power set.
I don't think giving her anti-loop would fix everything, I don't even think Sadako should get an anti-loop Power as we've had enough of those

I hope she gets some help. For such an iconic killer she's...sort of crap.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2843162#Comment_2843162
...How?
What does she bring to the table that other killers (not even strong killers) bring to the table better?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2843122#Comment_2843122
That - yes.
I also really want to see her stealth helped. Get rid of the lullaby (why is this a thing?) and increase the invisibility duration of her passive phasing significantly so that it's actually useful for mindgaming.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2843164#Comment_2843164
Trickster's buff/nerf/buff/nerf cycle was a mess and left him in a pretty meh place. I'd hope that if BHVR do decide to help Sadako out, they do a better job of it.
She could stand a hefty buff in nearly every part of her kit - and would still be low-mid B tier at best.
The Lullaby is weird. She's the only stealth Killer that has a Lullaby and I wouldn't mind if it got removed
-
I do hope they buff her teleport cooldown, 100 seconds is a tad too much. 60 seconds would be perfect imo, aswell as increasing the cooldown if Survivors turn TV's off to something like 70-75 seconds so it's worth interacting with the TV's, buffing her Condemnation aswell
-
Sadako has this weird ability of growing on people who don't like her at first, happened to me too
-
The Ring Drawing Add-on being basekit would for sure help her, but I personally think she should have shorter TV cooldowns
-
She was bugged, she's not bugged anymore so she doesn't need to be disabled
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
This is why we should not judge before try. I loved Sadako, she is alright killer. Some stupid maps can hurt her (The Game, Coldwind etc.) but with televisions, she can leave loop if survivor has strong spot. CoH is problem but this perk hurts all killers, so it is not just Sadako's issue.
You already mentioned, she has great synergy with info and slowdown perks. I think she is decent killer. I just wanna one little change. Teleport should have shorter cool-down and she is okey.
Agreed. TV's should have a shorter cooldown, ~60 seconds or so after teleporting and a 70-80 second cooldown when a Survivor shuts a TV off.
@Aneurysm said:
How'd you rate her amongst the stealth killers?
She's probably the best stealth Killer we have right now. All stealth Killers got hit by CoH hard, but she has an instant teleport, which means she could teleport to a Boon Totem and teleport back in matter of seconds.
@StarLost said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/313437/the-onryo-is-actually-pretty-good
My impression after 10 games on her...I must disagree.
The stealth feels...iffy. It's more like the Spirit's passive phasing - once I'm in range, it doesn't feel much different from walking up to them out of stealth. Watching a bit of footage, it's usually very obvious where she is and what she's doing.
Condemn feels negligible for the most part. I've got someone maxed out once or twice, and it's pretty simple for them to evade me until they can drop it.
Her big thing seems to be traversal, which is awesome - but the TV spawns are bizarre on some maps. Often they get placed on the floor below a gen on indoor maps, or in a position where you can't really close effectively.
A lot of her power feels like it's been shunted into her addons (she reminds me of Pig and Wraith in that regard) with a handful of browns and yellows that feel like they should be basekit.
What really hurts her is a complete lack of anti loop tools, which above a certain MMR makes playing her rough.
I'm going to keep playing her and this may be like Cenobite, where I just need to get a feel for how to play her - but compared to Artist, she feels...lacking.
I won't disagree with you on her feeling lacking compared to Bird Mommy, especially in the anti-loop department, nor will I disagree that her being an M1 Killer doesn't hurt her when above a certain MMR, as I've "presumably" (still don't know how high my MMR is) played against high MMR Survivors that knew both how to loop and how to use CoH effectively, and still won with a combination of Hit N Run usage, aswell as tunneling and camping when it deemed useful.
@[Deleted User] said:
How does she even excel at a 3 gen due to TVs? The cooldown on a TV is big enough that a single survivor can power through an entire gen before it turns on again. Freddy, Demo and Hag are all way better at 3 gens.
As explained in the post, a tight 3-Gen usually has more than 1 TV nearby. There's a 70% there'll be 2 TV's or more in that one area, meaning the 100 second cooldown of 1 TV probably won't hurt much, tho I still want a reduction in said cooldown.
@fulltonon said:
"Sadako has a guaranteed win, if she manages to kill 1 Survivor before ~3 Generators get finished."
As if other killers doesn't has a guaranteed win in that situation.
Pretty much every killer has advantage in that situation, even the one who doesn't have very good mobility can achieve 3k most of times afterwards.
What killers need to be good is something that helps when they are on disadvantage, which she doesn't really have one
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2842126#Comment_2842126
This game IS survivor sided and fairly good survivors are escaping 90% of times, even if you remove "good" and replace it with plain swf BHVR said there is 15% gap or something between them and soloq in escape rate, which is rather big and prove average killers fall behind SWFs.
Just like how good nurses are 4king 90% of times.
I mean if one side only consists of nurse tier character, and other side is variety of trash to decent to nurse, game is certainly tilted toward that one side.
I wouldn’t say every Killer has that strong of a 3-Gen. Sadako's Condemnation punishes Survivors who try and stay near the 3-Gen, forcing them to leave into an unfavorable position, lest they want to get mori'd.
Are there any Killers that have a disadvantage when losing? The meta Killers, Nurse and Blight, don't have anything that helps them when they're losing, they have either an amazing chase or amazing anti-loop or both. The help when at a disadvantage comes from Perks or strats such as tunneling and camping
-
I'm glad BHVR is taking a stance on the current situation, but I'm not sure pulling the game from the Russian market, which is probably made out of regular citizens, is a good idea. It just alienates the Russian population
