And before killer mains start screaming about doing all the totems, relax that doesn't always work.As a survivor main, am I allowed to say it? Doing all the totems is not a problem as long as the survivors play well. You have enough time to do all the gens AND totems. Time pressure is on the killer, not on you.
@NoShinyPony If you're playing solo you don't know if the other people even did any totems and if it's any killer that can rush and they have BBQ and chili you won't have enough time to do ######### besides gens and unhooking people.
1 person on the hook
1 person unhooking
1 person doing a gen or possibly running to the hook
and the other one doing a totem or dying trying because of BBQ. -

Can turn a 0k into a quick and cheap 4k. One single perk slot should NEVER be that powerful no matter what.Only counter is to find and cleanse ALL 5 totems which never happens unless you play in an organized SWF team or you do it yourself which takes:
- the time it takes to find and run to all 5 totems (approx. 30 seconds per totem - give or take)
- plus the time you have to waste by hiding on your way to said totems (approx. 10 seconds per totem)
- plus the time of actually cleansing the totems (70 seconds total)
Total: Approx. 4.5 minutes
Now you've wasted 4.5 minutes doing nothing but totems in a game that typically lasts 8-10 minutes. Congratulations! Your team is dead but at least you don't have to worry about noed.
It needs a nerf just like decisive strike.
- at least a timer of 100 seconds
- or limited instadowns
- or let survivors know noed is active BEFORE they get hit by it once the gates are powered
This! All of this!

Ah yes, putting words in my mouth cuz you're too stupid to understand how this is a huge buff, and extremely unhealthy. We had easy fixes to the perk that they ignored to just buff it instead.
No need to insult buddy, calm down.
Once again. I'm calm.
@Caretaker You do not sound calm I don't know who you're trying to fool. Clearly you're either a baby killer or missing some brain cells. If someone gets farmed off the hook you can down the farmer much easier than the person being saved so you don't even HAVE to go after the person with DS. Why is it so hard for you to understand?
Also YEAH tunneling is alive and well, if you're constantly targeting someone that is tunneling. Mind you this is a game not work, so take a chill pill and stop talking about "it's my job this it's my job that" cause I can say that it's a survivor's job to loop you to oblivion and buy time for gens to pop but I'm sure you wouldn't like that. -
######### I can barely hear it to begin with tbh

I think they should change default hair, it always looked off for a young college -aged gamer to adopt that kind of sloppy mop-head. Really backwards for punishing a survivor to play towards their win-condition imo.Only game-throwers should be reported.
So if someone animation canceled you to stage 2 or till you die they shouldn't be reported?

Instead of actual Kindred, maybe a weaker version that works similar to the killer effect? In other words, only show survivor auras if they're within a radius of the hook. That way people can either figure out if someone's waiting for a chance at an unhook, being chased right in front of it, etc. But not get basically a free full team aura.
Something is better than nothing.

I hope it don’t get implented into the game. As a solo player I don’t like information being fed to me. The best feeling for me is not knowing if another survivor going to go for the hook. And maybe one of the reason it’s not in because it can increase gen rushing. Which is what most players complaint about.
How is that a good feeling? I'm sure it wouldn't feel so good to be left hanging to dry on the hook.

What would be the compensation buff on the killer side?Killers already have a very easy time vs a group of solo players. I know I do at least.
-
I don't blame them, I find nurse games very boring especially at higher ranks. 1 person goes down gets hooked, BBQs and blinks to the next person goes down before the first person gets unhooked, rinse and repeat. There's usually a ruin and noed involved too.

As long as people keep doing outdated stuff it's not outdated to tell you something isn't used anymore. That's teaching somebody about the present hun.
So you're teaching people about the present by doing things of the past also?
Yes, otherwise there's no such thing as the present. Some things should just be left behind. We're in 2019 and it can be effective telling somebody they're doing something that is outdated in order to make them live/realize the present as efficiently as possible.
And the point of my post being 2018 was? To tell me that it's 2019?

Just nerf survivors to the ground, maybe one day people will stop whining about killers being weak.
I do not want this as a killer main, I'll just speak for ever killer main since you don't seem to get the main idea.
We just want a fair game against decent survivors. Currently, we don't have this just yet but it was a lot worse back then so that's progress! However, there are some things that needs addressing ASAP such as totem placement and how fast the game can end. Besides, I don't see why you are upset, your side received some well deserved buffs so I don't see the problem.
You mean the sabotage buffs? lol Cause I don't see anyone sabotaging hooks

Once the game is balanced, the killers might stop complaining. But since it's so terribly unbalanced, I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. It's hardly a rage post I actually want survivors to get nerfed really bad just to see what people would say. I'm a survivor main btw.

Silly. Reacting with survivor sided whining to killer sided whining is hardly an appropriate response.
I swear it sometimes feels like kindergarten in here.
Because no matter what survivors say or the devs do the killer main are always complaining about something. I saw a post where this guy literally wanted kills handed to him like #########?
God forbid survivors adapt and escape because they're survivors they're supposed to be weak therefore they shouldn't be able to live. -

Hitbox. Seriously they need fixes desperately.I think it's more a ping issue. Or a bug. Often enough hitboxes at pallets and vaults work perfectly fine. Just on occasion there are some weird hits that shouldn't connect. At least for me.
Also never forget that killers have arms. It's only reasonable if they hit you while you are half a cross a pallet. They are weird as hell on the survivor side but look normal on the killer side. Now to the point, if the killers weapon isn't even near you, with a full lunge and it somehow hits, how the flip is that reasonable. It's not. Killer mains don't complain about it because it's in their favour.
This. If the weapon didn't touch you why does it connect? Also I'm not saying this happens often but it's just annoying to go down when you know you should've been able to make it to the other side of the pallet.
On another note I got hit by a hatchet from around a corner/through a wall before and even the guy that was playing he huntress said that the hit boxes are #########. Maybe the dedicated servers will fix these issues who knows?

Sure, as long they will no longer keep the items after they escape, same as the killer whose addons get used up after the trial is over
Except our items have add ons attached to them so that's 3 items to spend bloodpoints on in comparison to 2 killer add ons that are found all over the bloodweb.
Yours are found all over the blood web, too, and if you leave with the item, you keep the addons. Killers have to constantly replenish.
Heck, you run ace in the hole, you can get some better stuff, and addons than usualnoutnof chests. Free stuff, right there.
Ifnyour teammates are trash, then you are into the next game faster. Killers have to stay the entire trial.
But the whole point is to get more points without have to waste perk slots on ######### perks lol.
I'm only asking to get more points for little things like maybe;
recovering on the ground
struggling on the killer's shoulder
cleansing totems, it adds up.If we're gonna live forever had some other type of benefit I'd actually use it more often. Killers get 25k on average that's not including offering and then the % from BBQ (which 95% of the killers have) and sometimes a free BPS from the survivors.
I've leveled up most killers to 50 and I've had a much easier time than leveling my survivors and Add ons were not a problem. -
Sigh

Killers seem to earn more because they are in the match the entire time, and usually run one of numerous blood point enhancement perks.
It's entirely possible for a survivor to make just as much, and sometimes more than the killer.
Then there's the fact killers have much higher maintenance costs.
The survivor BP perks have no benefit like BBQ as I was saying in the op so it ends up being a waste of a perk slot unlike BBQ which has actual benefit when playing in addition to giving you more BPs.
Not disagreeing. The survivor BP perks aren't my cup of tea.
I forget which, leadership, or prove thyself will become a bp perk, though. That doesn't change the fwct that survivors can make a ton of points, comparable to the killer.
They can also leave with what they entered with and it will be restored.
Also if they go in with nothing, they can walk out with a new item.
Killers don't have that luxury, so they need more points. You can make a lot of points but only if you happen to have a really good game or the killer is trash. If your teammates are always going down or someone DCs (and ######### the whole team). It's very situational while the killer gets points based on their own skill (not always). It would be nice if it didn't take 2-3 games to complete one lvl 50 bloodweb lol.

I see a lot of people saying that surviving should be "tough". I don't mind dying as long as I get a decent amount of points. Usually the killer gets the most points (unless they're brain dead) and that's fine and all cause they're in the game longer. But sometimes even after escaping I feel like I'm barely getting anything even thought I feel like I was all over the place, and the only time I feel like I can get a decent amount of bloodpoints is if I use "we're gonna farm forever" with no other benefit other than getting extra points. Unlike BBQ which gives you more points AND shows you survivor auras when you hook someone.
If you get tunneled or camped that's barely any points, most of the time you die with 15k points while the killer has 25k - 30k and then BBQ on top.
Can't survivors get more points for little things? Cleansing totems, self healing or healing others etc?
Killers are addon dependent, survivors not
Killers lose addons every game, survivor keep items after escaping
Survivors can obtain items ingameYeah but there's addons all over the bloodweb lol that makes no sense. When I see killer mains and their load out they're always stacked and usually have every add on already.

SC now its good and balance remember that legion got buffed and if they dont put it on live the SC on the ptb then its just another huge nerf on survivor and players will be playing killer insteadYes but most like it it will be the other way around and still just for one killer you don't buff one of the most use perk in the game. And for the legion buff can easy say if you have mix tap only the injury effect apply
Who uses SC these days? I know I just use Iron will and keep that ######### moving. SC is a waste now it takes WAY too much time to heal yourself.

It's a balance issue, not dodging issue. They dodge because the game isn't balanced well and they want to reduce that imbalance as much as possible ie tooldboxes/flashlights/swf. If the game was more balanced, killers wouldn't care as much. That said, it makes me think you're doing swf or something. I only solo and I get dodged once MAYBE every 12 games if that and my survivors are full p3'd out.
No, I get dodged quite a bit and probably because of other people who are in the lobby with me or if we pop up at the same time. When I play swf it's usually only 2 of us.
Also people are still whining about flashlights? It's not a white screen anymore and the pick up animation is SO fast that if you not already in front of them you're not getting the blind, and toolboxes are countered by ruin. Yeah you can hit the great skill checks but not all survivors will be able to do it, I guarantee at least 2 of them will waste time looking for the totem and die in the process.
I would I like dodge Spirits and Leatherfaces too, cause quit frankly I hate playing against them, but I don't have the luxury of knowing who the killer is going to be beforehand.
It has nothing to do with thinking flashlights are too strong, you misunderstand. A .5% difference in strength for example may be small but when you're already losing, you take every bit you can get. If you see what I'm saying.
Toolboxes are only countered by ruin if it's a bunch of rank 20's. At rank 1 they're hitting the skill checks and they aren't wasting time looking for ruin anyway because half the time it's sitting right there next to the gen.
Survivors aren't afforded that luxury of seeing the killer ahead of time because they are already at an advantage to begin with.
You know half the people at rank 1 are still trash right? lol I've been at rank 1 multiple times and I've had teammates who literally seem like they're playing with their eyes closed. The only thing that changed is that killers all have the same perks.
Quite frankly, they could make it so survivors get downed in 1 hit and remove all pallets from the game but the killers will always seem to be at a disadvantage apparently.

So from what I gather is:
If I like this shirt from the shop I shouldn't wear it because the killer will ASSUME that I'm toxic and dodge me.
Killers are still complaining about flashlight which are honestly useless these days.
People still use self care? It wastes so much time and healing has been nerfed to the ground I could bake a pie by the time I'm done healing. Might as well run around injured with iron will.
If people want to play as Claudette they'll be dodged.
If you bring an item you'll get dodged (Even though Franklin's is a thing)
Why can't I dodge lobbies too? I don't wanna play against a Spirit, dodge. Leatherface? Dodge. Etc.. Maybe it's best if no one sees anyone before the match starts.

They are expected to use it to dodge bad ping, not players. Of course, we all know it doesn't work that way. There is no answer to your question aside from the fact that the devs think that it is acceptable the way it is. They literally have stated that they are not looking to change it.
Well that sucks, I wish neither survivors or killers could see each other that way it would be better imo.
