Aces, P3 quentins, Bike helmet+Elf boots dwights, default jills. Those are the survivors i tend to find the most frightening to fight against. Shirt cheryls are also pretty scary, but they are usually pretty chill too since they just like silent hill.
-
what are you even talking about lol
-
I want to be, the very best. like no DBD player ever was [Sick guitar riffs]
On a non joking note, if i did have an actual goal it would be to be at the top of the nemesis leader board. its my only true goal, i wanna be the worlds best nemesis.

oh yeah, wasnt sure if you were hacking too, he was messing with me a lot when i was chasing you, sorry for the bad game.
Nope, never have never will. I can send you the OBS footage if you need it for a report, as im not sure how to report myself. But i don't think i managed to catch any of his cheating since i only recorded the last 2 or so minutes of the match.
-
Hey, im pretty sure we were just in the same match lol. I Was the claire. I Tried recording the match but only got a very small bit near the end, i don't think i got any of the footage of him speedhacking.
-
I have never been outplayed. Not a single time. I am the lord of DBD, there are ancient monuments in egypt depicting images of me surrounded by symbols of rank 1. I am at the top of every single leaderboard on every single DBD related website. My mere presence instantly kills the opposition.
Joking aside, Yes, i have been outplayed plenty of times before.
-
I guess if you really like nurses or sweat squads?
-
Nemesis is certainly not C tier. He's high B tier at his worst, i feel like people massively underestimate him because he isn't nurse or blight. But he seriously has a ton going for him, and he absolutely CHEWS through most loops in the game. He has 2x the zoning of demo, with the lethality of a 6m lunge that goes OVER objects AND can break pallets. It is extremely hard to escape a good nemesis once they've started to clear out the map and reach tier 3. He is absolutely on the same tier as demo, if not better than demo.

Chris has punched an ENTIRE boulder (SEVERAL TONS OF WEIGHT) off of a cliff. David would literally crumble to dust in a single punch from chris.

Bet it will be back in 5.2.1 and will be the same as it was.
The movies are full of innuendo. No way the license owns care about the memes being made. Instead its building interest in an old franchise.
Its pretty rare that license holders actually know very much about the franchises they own. Thats left up to the film crew, actors, and directors. License holders rarely know jack about what they own, which is why they get cranky quite frequently about things that could be considered "fitting" in the movies franchise.

Oni is an incredibly well trained feudal warrior, that in his time as a human slaughtered hundreds of people, including soldiers as strong as he was. Hillbilly on the other hand is a somewhat unintelligent child minded aggressor, he only managed to kill a few people and that was solely because he was quite buff from all the farm work and powered by pure rage. Oni would cut billy down in a single swing, no question.
-
The game is very poorly optimized. Its quite clearly so because a ps4 can run games like TLOU2 without much trouble but DBD turns your ps4 into a jet engine.
-
I feel confident i can last decently long in a chase. I Tend to bounce between the 2-3 minute mark, but i can usually run for at least 2:30 before i go down. Im not the best survivor, but i've got a lot of game sense.
-
Its not really a buff though. Its QOL. Nemmy doesn't really even need a big buff anyways, if he even needs one. He's a pretty good killer.
-
Night time DBD is something else man. Some of the most deranged individuals i have ever seen crawl out of their dens at night to exclusively play this game. Methinks its because only the most dedicated dbd players actually bother to stay past reasonable sleeping hours to keep playing this game.
-
Its sort of a bug. Keep trying to solve it, the chains are supposed to stop spawning once you begin to solve it. For some reason this doesn't always happen, hide yourself behind an object and keep trying to solve it until the chains stop spawning and you can finish the box.
-
Hes a decent killer, but hes relatively boring. He gets the job done but not in a way that truly feels awesome like huntress or slinger, you just don't FEEL powerful even if you are. Having 1 tiny blade down a survivor compared to say, a harpoon gun or a giant hatchet, it just doesn't have the same OOMPH.

It's a cluster of sweat because the sweaty players haven't increased their MMR into the higher levels yet, obviusly. The new systems been out for like 2 days, give people time to get moved into their proper spots
Thats exactly what i said. We can give people time, but that doesn't mean it invalidates their complaints and frustrations. it will eventually get good, but that does not eliminate the fact it is horrid right now. Calling it "whining" like it has no ground to stand on is simply untrue.
-
Thats a stupid argument. If we need to "give it time to settle" isn't it natural that everyones pissed off right now because the system is a complete cluster-######### of sweat? People SHOULD be complaining right now and be allowed to vent their frustrations. The system is not fun right now, and even if it does get fun eventually people should be allowed to voice their dissatisfaction with how it is right now. Just because it can get better doesn't mean it isn't miserable right now.

Nurse is never gonna get fixed lol, her entire power is essentially a jury rigged bug into a usable ability. If they even touch any of her mechanics she'll fall apart like rotten wood.

I think movies are actually scary but in dbd he looks funny lol. The fact that he is not that threatening and strong doesn't help.
I think its moreso the fact that his eerie stillness isn't really translated well over to an action packed environment like DBD. They maintained his character and kept up his very bizarre and frightening level of stillness and detachment, but it doesn't hold the same gravitas as it does in the movies. In the movies its frightening because the camera sticks to him, he rarely moves and speaks very elegantly, the horror of his character is the slowburn the movie direction gives him. That can't really happen in DBD since things are constantly happening, he just looks weird acting so slowly and stiffly.

That just means the system is "functional" by giving you the statistical 50% win/loss ratio. According to the developers anyway. It's not all that different from a lot of other games with MMR. You'll stomp 2 games, then get stomped in 3 games. Then you'll stomp 3 games, one close match, and get stomped in 3 games. A fair and balanced match that feels that way is hard enough in more easily balanced games, with equal combatants (3v3, 6v6) but in a 1v4 game with countless variables? Goodluck.
I don't think thats really what they meant. A system that lets you steamroll a team, then get steamrolled the next match is not fun for anybody. The team the game lets you steamroll has absolutely no fun because they essentially have no chance. Then when YOU get steamrolled by the next team you get matched with, you have absolutely no fun because there was quite literally 0 chance you were gonna win that matchup. The system doesn't work at all, because BHVR does not have a solid grasp on the skill levels of its playerbase and the varying builds that can carry or kill you. The MMR system is incredibly flawed because of these things, it doesn't factor in enough and it promotes sweaty gameplay that causes constant steamrolls that nobody enjoys. Each lobby should contain varied skill players to create meaningful matches, not a 4 man of mediocre players then a 4 man of godlike ace mains. Same goes for killer, i shouldn't be getting matched against the hosehermanos_2007 the rank 20 trapper main when i have 2500+ hours in this game, and yet because the game wants to ocasionally give you "easy" matches it happens anyways.
This is not a healthy system.
-
PSA: Give hatch often, and lose ocasionally. You REALLY don't want to let it get as bad as tru3 does, he obviously wins as frequently as he can for content but if you follow in those footsteps you'll be stuck in MMR hell.
-
Legion is a basic m1 killer. Surge only activates on basic attacks. Legion gets a ton of use from surge because he will literally never not be able to activate it when downing survivors, same with wraith and mikey.

At least the cosmetics are usually pretty good. Since the blight is over, im wondering what they are gonna do this time.

Yeah thanks to some children with dirty minds.
But why did they also remove the voice lines from the Mori then?
It doesn't make any sense.
The fact they removed it from the mori too makes it pretty clear its a legal issue. If they just removed the "I CAME" lines, it would make a bit more sense. But since they removed the voice all together, the publishers probably said "This is why we can't have nice things, remove all of it."
-
Jokes on you, now for some unknown cursed reason every survivor you get matched against will be 20x better than every one of your teammates combined
-
Sounds fun! Might sign up.
-
I Don't think they have much a choice. It seems very likely that its a legal issue, likely to do with the publishers not liking the "HE CAME" meme.
-
I Believe the hex only spawns once a survivor has been effected by it. The hex you cleansed was probably something like devour hope or another totem that has no obvious effects until its been activated. Plaything only spawns a hex totem once a survivor has been hooked. The perk, like noed, doesn't activate if there aren't any available dull totems to put the hex on.
-
I've never actually seen a hacking killer. its basically guaranteed to be a survivor, for a variety of reasons. They're usually exceptionally toxic and try their best to make it miserable for EVERYONE in the match, but very very rarely you might get a hacker who is trying to at least be somewhat comedic. They'll act silly and use their hacks to be silly. Thats rare though.
-
Correct me if i am wrong, but im pretty sure one of the Haunted grounds totems becomes dull during the duration of the hex when its cleansed. But you can still cleanse it, and proc the effect of haunted grounds.
-
It could use some tweaks. Sometimes i have fun matches because of MMR, sometimes i have awful matches because of MMR. The issue is that i don't really have much control over it, and BHVR is not at all transparent on what it measures and how it functions. It just gives me a bad feeling in my stomach since i feel very powerless when attempting to enjoy my matches.
-
He wants you op, keep your door locked.
-
The sweat has increased a ton, but im not having the worst of times. The patch was pretty rocky and dissapointing but at least SBMM isn't that terrible, you'll just have to learn to sweat a bit harder as killer if you care that much about it.
-
im losing my mind with these posts.
-
Point at him and call him a D tier. Works every time.
-
Im honestly more annoyed with how its making people play. The idea everyone has is that the higher your MMR, the better your teamates. That means survivor prioritize winning at ALL costs so they can assure they'll have better matches in the future. This leaves much less sweaty survivors in the dust as they constantly die from teamates abandoning them over and over again. It also leaves the majority of killer players in a bad spot since said sweaty survs will generate absolutely miserable matches for the sake of increasing their MMR. Even if you don't play sweaty as a surv, consistently winning will just put you against the absoloute most toxic spirit/blight/nurse mains this game has to offer over and over and over again. DBD did not need even more of a reason to sweat, and yet BHVR just gave the community a BIG reason to sweat. Its pretty bad.
-
Edit: Simplified the presentation a bit more to be consistent with everybody elses posts
-
It works well if you pray the survivors don't have totem perks, its still a hex and that means it will be cleansed like a hex. You often don't even need an aura to cleanse ruin relatively fast, everybody just kinda knows where totems are. Third seal will slightly prolong the effects of play thing, but not to a degree where i say its really worth running 2 removable perks. You'll be depriving them of a lot of necessary info for a while, but it won't last forever and when they do eventually get cleansed you'll be down 2 perks.
The synergy is decent if you're willing to sacrifice half your build for a gimmick.

I believe they're doing it so players can't figure out how to manipulate their MMR to bully less skilled players. Some people believe it's because they haven't actually made a new system, and it's all a placebo.
If the MMR is that easy to manipulate, it shouldn't exist in the first place. Its VERY scary that BHVR is this afraid of their own system.

It’s only been a day. Come back in a month and express your dissatisfaction then.
If i bite into a piece of candy and its sour instead of sweet, im not gonna wait for it to get sweet before i voice my dissatisfaction. First impressions are important, even if MMR does end up being decent its launch will have left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouth. BHVR should have launched a functional system right out the gate.

Honestly, by way of updates, this one isn't bad. Unless there is some major issue I'm unaware of, this release is pretty tame by way of bugs.
What few bugs there are are very frustrating ones though. Pinheads lunge is nonfunctional, my first 20 or so games as him crashed literally every time, SBMM makes matches as him super miserable, and some maps have completely unbreakable pallets. Obviously this isn't a binding of kin level patch where the game is literally unplayable, its just super unfun. Oh and they removed his lines, that wasn't very cool.

Does being angry at this game suddenly cancel out my ability to play any other game? Why assume i haven't been playing anything else? I just wanted to voice my immense frustration, i've been having a lot of fun with Tboi, a lot more fun than this updates been. This excuse is stupid and quite literally every forum member uses it like some sort of "gotcha" moment when its completely wrong 99% of the time

God, I wish they'd ######### stop with it being 4 chapters and 4 more killers.
We're reaching a critical mass soon enough where new Killers will just feel like bloat.
I mean has anyone seen The Twins lately as a Survivor? How about Nemesis?
Trickster maybe?
They need to slow the ######### down so we can have more quality killers and more fixes rather than pump out more content faster and faster.
But then how are they gonna rake in the fat stacks they care so much about? We have to face it, BHVR isn't the indie dev company we knew years ago. They are a monolithic triple A publisher with a STRONG desire for money above all else. This is true for every game company, money is the #1 only priority, we just hold onto the hope that BHVR is still the lovable ol' indie devs we knew back in 2017. They haven't been that for a long time, and they won't stop spamming new content as long as it makes them stupid amounts of money.
