I bought this because his voice lines were in the PTB. He is bland without them. Let's not bait and switch the consumer fellas.

    I Don't think they have much a choice. It seems very likely that its a legal issue, likely to do with the publishers not liking the "HE CAME" meme.

    But why did they also remove the voice lines from the Mori then?

    It doesn't make any sense.

    The fact they removed it from the mori too makes it pretty clear its a legal issue. If they just removed the "I CAME" lines, it would make a bit more sense. But since they removed the voice all together, the publishers probably said "This is why we can't have nice things, remove all of it."

    That would at least explain the silence from the Devs on that matter. We can just hope they will fix the issue and bring them back.

    If they can't come back due to legal issues, BHVR should work on some new sound design based on the movie (effects, music) to fill the gaps left by the removed lines. I can definitely feel the hole left by them.

    I've heard Tofu state that it'll come back. Not sure if he knows something or its just speculation. If it isnt a legal thing then its just behavior unable to figure out how to separate the voice lines from Chatterer. Which knowing these devs it wouldnt surprise me

    It would have to be legal because literally the line couldve just been shortened to "You opened the box..." and that's it.

    Would've been equally ominous without the associated immaturity of the average internet person.

    As far as the patch notes go, it just says they were having audio issues. If its a confirmed legal issue please attach a link.

    It's not been confirmed. It's just suspicious that they said they can't talk about it further. That's why people suspect this.
