Agree with all yours points.
When I first used HUNK I felt cool chasing survivors down with Feral Frenzy, but then when I saw the animation... I was a bit embarrased.
-
Lights Out
Hitting a survivor with a basic attack will blind and deafen (firecracker effect) the survivor for 1/1.5/2 seconds.
-
I believe the mori system is still on the way. You have to understand that when the devs say something is coming soon they mean within a dogs lifetime.

So a four man bully squad running Boil Over, Soul Guard, Tenacious, and Boon Exponential isn't game breaking because while it might take a hour of you knocking someone down, waiting for them to get up with exponential, having to chase them again for (at least) eight seconds in order to knock them down again and having to repeat the process multiple times ISN'T taking the game hostage?
Like...I suppose you're technically right in that the game will eventually end as long as you're willing to do this for a good twenty plus minutes PER survivor...
Does BHVR not realize how utterly ridiculous this sounds or do they realize it, they just don't really care?
Until bhvr does something, I'll just keep putting up Sacrificial Wards and when I run out of those, I'll dc when someone puts RPD. Going against this once is boring enough, but when every other game is this, I have better things to do.

If the timer is not down then yes, both gates will be blocked for the entire time, regardless if both or only one was open at the time of activation
Ok, good to know
While I was opening an exit gate, the killer opened the other before hooking a survivor. I opened it hoping to escape before the hook, but I was like half a second too late, blocked right in my face. At least I wasn't responsible for my own demise. Thanks for the answer.
-
I can definitely agree with seeing the other survivor's perks. It's so simple and such an effective way to know my teammates intentions.
-
I mean if you're really worried about going up against this build then run Calm Spirit. You can even add Vigil which now recovers you from Exposed quicker.
-
How would making flashlights rechargeable make the situation you stated easier to deal with. Wouldn't that be a buff, if I'm understanding correctly?

Honestly i tey to find the stream but i dont know who it is :(
Yeah, I don't want to get myself in trouble for someone else's stupid actions. But they instantly broke my totems, had aura reading of everything, even the killer so he could see me through walls. Instant wiggle off when I picked him up, broke all hooks on the map, and put invisible barriers in front of me.

Hey, im pretty sure we were just in the same match lol. I Was the claire.
oh yeah, wasnt sure if you were hacking too, he was messing with me a lot when i was chasing you, sorry for the bad game.

Correct. Report to twitch. Possibly BHVR as well, though idk how they handle third-party reporting.
ok guess im deleting this post, thanks

Umm you should probably remove his name or you’ll get banned for naming and shaming.
So is there any other way to report than the in game system?
-
UPDATE!
I did it with 2 survivors escaping one match and then finishing off in another match. Guess it's bugged if you do it all in one.
-
Yeah, same thing happened to me. Waited for all survivors to escape, then I escaped. Challenge just said, "Nope, try again"

I still stand by my idea that Haemorrhage should be like Ruin but for healing. I.e. Haemorrhage causes a slow rate of healing regression on injured survivors.
I really like this idea, never thought of something like that. Certainly better than what we currently have.
-
My need to engage in homicidal behavior on a MASSIVE scale can not be corrected, but I have no other way of fulfilling my needs.
-
Before DBD, I was really into Payday 2. So Starbreeze, who were publishers of both games back then, promoted DBD before it was released. I played the beta and here we are 5 years later.
-
I think the next step should be to see the other survivor's loadouts. It's something simple that they already have on mobile, so it will definitely come eventually.
-
At least your idea is more creative and more worthy of being an ultra rare.
-
I've only used this perk when I try to do a rare non-meta build. I then proceed to remove it after 1 match.
Sounds like a nice buff idea.
-
Really like your Gearhead idea, better than whatever the heck it does now.

DBD Mobile has it, don't see why the regular game can't?
It does? I haven't been following mobile, so thats news to me. Cool.

Incense:
8-12 charges (Lasts 20-30 seconds per charge).
Must be lit before being used (charged).
Protects a 28-34 meter radius from hex effects; and tremendously thickens the fog within its radius.
Only can affect one area at any given moment.
—————————————————————
Oak Incense [Very Rare]:
•8 charges.
•Must be lit before being used.
•Grants a 28 meter radius around itself that gives the Hazed status effect.
•Cannot be used while currently affecting another area.
Petrified Incense [Ultra Rare]:
•8 charges.
•Must be lit before being used.
•Tremendously increases lighting charge speed.
•Grants a 28 meter radius around itself that gives the Hazed status effect.
—————————————————————
Misty Additives [common]:
•shows effective range of Incense to all survivors.
Gypsm Powder [common]:
•Slightly decreases duration of haze
•Moderately decreases visibility for killers when hazed
Incense Holder [uncommon]:
•Moderately increases duration of haze
Worn Incense Box [uncommon]:
•Increases available charges by 2
Felt Bag [rare]:
•Increases effective range of Incense by 2 meters.
Pristine Matches [rare]:
•Moderately increases lighting charge speed.
Fog Dew [very rare]:
•Haze persists an additional 25 seconds after leaving Incense effective range.
•Does not apply when Incense has burned out.
Campfire Ash [very rare]:
•All auras are suppressed when hazed.
Putrid Oak Sap [very rare]:
•Increases effective range of Incense by 4 meters.
Ashtray [ultra rare]:
•Incense effective area is fix to your relative location.
•Slightly increases haze duration
This sounds really interesting, I found myself really intrigued reading your item idea. Although I think hex perks aren't strong enough for an item like this, I really hope the devs take this into consideration.
-
Jeepers Creepers. Apparently, the next movie will have a new director, so maybe BHVR can hopefully avoid the controversy.
-
Yes, this sounds great. I am so sick of my perk loadout being littered with gen defense perks. Base mechanics like this need to be added. Nerf Ruin, Pop, whatever...Get this in game ASAP Right Away!
-
Apart from some variable changes, I just wish Main Event was something different than throwing knives faster. He could throw a bunch of knives that spread, kind of like a shotgun, and maybe get pushed back a little with each throw.
-
It's sad that good killers have to wait for bad survivors to achieve these things.
-
To see a cool animation.
Moris are like fatalities from MK.
-
I've seen videos of the first FNAF back in the day, thought it was a neat indie horror game. Haven't followed the game too much since then so I don't understand the hate on it's community.
The idea of an animatronic killer sounds cool. And I know Jump scares are cheap, but that would bring back the fear factor to this game. I'm on board for Springtrap, I'd like to see what BHVR would do for it's power.
-
Although Rewind sounds really neat, I think survivors would just stop working on gens when they notice it. Maybe skillchecks should cause regression in that time, but that just sounds like old Ruin. Good perk idea though.
Try To Find Me sounds interesting, but what if you want to use Dead Hard with it? Also, a 60 sec cooldown would get irritating for killers, maybe it should build up with chase time.
Overall, really refreshing perk ideas and the images look great as well.
-
That's kind of what the tomes and rifts are, but on a smaller scale. Maybe some harder challenges for bigger reward would be nice.
-
I see it as a chase ending perk. Getting stunned and the survivor making tons of distance, that's a lot of wasted time to find that survivor again.
-
@GoshJosh said:
Yeah, and that opinion is don’t change it... they’re just going to stagger wherever they are because you drop? Doesn’t even make sense.
Kind of was thinking when the killer falls to the ground it creates like a quake effect, shaking the area and causing the survivor to stumble a bit
-
Bring back ultra rare perks from 2016, I want my perks pink.
-
I honestly would love to see today's players play this game when it was first released. Killers would NEVER catch any survivor. Maybe people would stop complaining after seeing how much the game has improved.
-
Considering that a lot of killers manipulate the red stain by walking backwards this sounds like it would hurt survivors more than help. But it does sound like it would be an interesting killer perk.
-
Monstrous Shrine
I had a rework idea that falls in line with something BHVR would do.
Hitting a survivor with a basic attack within 16 meters of a hooked survivor will call upon the Entity to block the survivor from being rescued for 30 seconds.
Sacrifice progress is paused during this time.
-
I like your idea.
I think another way around it would be to make the last survivor the obsession. This way they are not affected by Remember Me and could synergize with other Obsession perks.
-
Pretty Lady outfit for Leatherface, I NEED it.
-
The full patch should be coming at the end of July, if they follow their 6 week plan. I believe they mentioned the PTB will be about 2 weeks before patch. So middle of July probably.
-
I played a lot of Payday 2 back in the day. I saw Starbreeze was promoting DBD in the forums and followed the game for a while. Played the beta and the rest is history.
-
You maintain it by at least black pipping every game. I find that the title of rank 1 should have more meaning than just plowing through the ranks every season. It means you are consistently winning and are putting in the effort to maintain that rank.
-
So just stay motionless and Freddy can't do anything to you?
