Every thing you said is correct and we should all devote our time to more meaningful games, spirituality and activism for political party of preference.

Devs have said they don't like Blood Lust but because of maps being badly designed they have to keep it in to band aid it till they can fix the maps. Which means making more maps into unsafe ones.

The time he was released is the worst time I've ever had on this game. Every single game was leatherface and they always camped lol

Ask for your currency back. Send them a ticket. When they refuse, tell them you want to speak to the manager. When they refuse, call their office. When they hang up, call the Better Business Bureau (or equivalent).
-
We should be able to send in our broken copies of the game and have DBD send us the correct, fixed product 5-7 days later, just like any other sane company who sells products.
You all realize receiving a broken product and not having reparations is a scam, right? This is pretty much how the video game industry is working now.
-
I go by kills and if I escaped or not. Either way, the results are often negligible so long as it was a fun game.
Secondly, no one of you is going to tell me if I won the game or not. You're not my dad!
-
I like hooking someone, than using Insidious, then chainsawing the unhooker too. Then I still camp while the other guy bleeds on the floor. Make sure to use his "quiet chainsaw" addon. It's fun for you and Survivor and makes game healthy like good mamma cooked meal.
-
With 10 poll options, we can really get into nitty gritty about the endgame collapse.
-
Agreed. Usually at the end of games, I often just have to stand there and wait for their DS timer to run out. This really isn't how horror should work ...
Imagine Michael Myers in Halloween 4 when he's about to snap Brady's neck on the staircase, but then he thinks, "Oh, he may have DS though ... better put him down."
To be fair, right after Rachel then palleted Michael with a bunch of objects thrown down at the steps to slow him down. ROFL!!!

Surely the only reason that stat exists is based around the volume of Trapper players rather than his success rate. Most new players don’t bother with DLC, and Trapper is just one of the easiest and most attractive play options, especially straight after the tutorial, so most players just stick with him.

Trapper was the most used killer in the newb ranks across all platforms. Huntress was ahead of him on PC in popularity for obvious reasons though.
His kill percentage is likely MASSIVELY buffed by all the kills in the newb ranks. It would've been nice if those stats also included a deadly by rank percentage. Or at least a Rank 1-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20 type way. Next time they give us those stats that is really needed.
I cannot afford to speak as to the testimony of their statistical methods. You chaps may very well be right. It is an unfortunate regard that additional transparency does not come so easily at our dispose. This is entirely contrary to the good nature of French-Canadians.
-
I believe the last stats they released, Trapper was number 1 in Kills on console.
-
Mathieu told us to go play a different game anyway, so it's cool, guys. They're fine with DBD sinking.

You've basically said it yourself, but that stuff isn't really gone. Freddy has the same idea behind him. The difference is that you're hardened to the horror feeling. Something isn't going to stay scary forever, at some point it's going to stop being scary and start to feel like more of a game.
This still happens for a lot of new players, for what it's worth. I'd recommend checking out some footage from conventions where people are playing for the first time.
That's not true. I've always been scared of my dad.

Nothing wrong with it at all. Down your first victim and rev your chainsaw whilst face-camping the lowly rube.

Because it’s not fun for the survivors.
Unfortunately, hooking everyone on rotation 12 times is not really feasible against good teams so you sometimes have to play a little bit campy/tunnelly if you want to win. Being rushed out of the match and teabagged in the exit gates is not fun for the killer either, so you have to decide whose fun is more important to you. Most survivors prioritise their fun over yours so it’s fair if you make the same call, imo.
I'll decide what's fun! Good day to you, sir! HWWWWAAAAAAUUUUGHHHHRRRRRAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! *swings chainsaw*

100% agree. BHVR are childish AND Canadian.

Sleepaway Camp Part 4: the Confused, starring Kristen Stewart

Oh, I raised this point before. A bunch of larks squawking their same ol'e tune at me, "reading their aura's is too much." Yes, if even by two seconds, I imagine this perk would be up their with Hex: Ruin. Raging disconnects; endgame polemics; high blood-pressure all sending the DBD players to bed with headaches.
-
That Yamaoka-whatever estate is hell. Even for normal people in dark clothing, seeing them through that thicket is ridonckulous, and im gonna write a letter to Congress.
-
I want a title that says "Mistrusted."
-
BHVR skirts anti-slavery laws. Confirmed.
-
lol suck it nurse
-
I rage quit when another Survivor unintentionally impedes my progress running away from the Killer resulting in my being hit. They should be more considerate of their peers. So i just disconnect.
-
Congratulations. I slept aaaaaall day.
-
The FOX News equivalent of substance. There is nothing of me to be offered here, as you've offered nothing.
-
Im with the Survivor since the BM was so eloquently stated. Good on him.
-
360's are very popular and useable on console due to its high sensitivity limit and how it relates to the joy stick. Also, console players are more casual. Ya, we actually dont care very much for "ironing out the bits of our betterments." I know if you're on the forums you're more of a tryhard, but really, to insult the OP is ungracious and shows folly and pity of your character.

Yes, for the 1% of people out there who do and think this, this message is for YOU! Thank you, Bendermac!

Not gonna lie, that scares me a little :((
No, you won't be banned; that's ridiculous. My point was just the dissociation between the exegesis of BHVR's position and the comments you're gonna get for your thread.
-
^
No, you need chases and you need to win them — more so than with any other characters. If you relied on your traps for your main pursuance of goal by manner of puzzlecraft, you're going to do poorly most of the time.
Chase people in the general vicinity of traps around common loops is all I can say. Im not that good. lol

@Awakey said:
No, that's not your fault.
Which is interesting because the creed of the people, who follow the developers words to the letter in some cases for very odd, stupid reasons, will say, "Exploits are bannable." Given all traps should be noticeable, and not an intent of the developers to do so otherwise, it behooves me to believe that this is an exploit, and abusing exploits are bannable.

Lemme tell you something: My therapist recommended Stranger Things to me, and I initially refused to watch given I had cancelled my Netflix membership over them taking The Wonder Years away. I left Netflix a nasty message about that. A year passes; here I am with a brand new free trial: Let's do the Dema-whatever.
That's who he is. "Dema-whatever." Except upon watching Stranger Things up until episode 5, I had noted a peculiar observation: the strange ABSENCE of whatever this Dema-whatever is. For bloody sake's, is it not a queer standard for such "suspense" to make truancy of such an antagonist? Can I expect anything else out of some TV-14 cabbage-written doggerel? Netflix, shame on you.
-
Unfortunately, his perk slots need to be filled with tracking perks in order to be most effective. He needs to make up slack for the terrible lack of map pressure.
-
I use Lightweight (underrated perk), Premonition, Urban Evasion and Distortion. Then I just bring a medkit.
Ya, you heard me.
-
I tried using it and it's so restrictive in the sense I can't run as I normally please. I wish there was a button-trigger to activate it, but it'd be too powerful then. I always stick with Lithe.
-
I am unaware of any "aim assist"-type deal. Is that what we have? I haven't noticed anything. I play on console and when a Survivors sensitivity is up 100% it can be real bloody vexatious to get some hits, even when strafing and doing "all-appropriate measures."
Also, I sometimes tend to miss at distances so short — even though the Survivor is right in front of me — it's absolutely bonkers.

Probably Demodoggo. He has made me come close to following through on several occasions in game.
Shirtless Myers would be my man of choice though. Who wouldn't want to be chased after by that beef cake? Shame we're not likely to ever get that cosmetic. I'd genuinely pay upwards of $30 for that bad boy.
This whole "shirtless Myers" meme. You realize he isnt buff at all? In fact, him being a pseudo-catatonic renders his musculature weak and feeble looking. His torso would look flaccid. These are the hard facts!

I'm just happy my Piggy can break pallets while crouched and not get outted by Alert.

Scares me the most, prolly Spirit. The way the glass cuts into her shoulder blades and the manner of how her gesticulations pop and crack seems like a grave medical concern.

No. The ping is de-synced. Most of the time you get it right, but when I play Killer, sometimes they slam pallets on me and I dont drop my victim. Of course, it's not egregious, but within a buggy-locks zone.

Hell no. Unless three are hovering and squacking over a locker.

No, I’m not planning to. No matter how you run a business, you can’t simply cut off people’s jobs. You can’t. There’s no reason to do so. Money is a thing you can’t just take away without reason; and cosmetics are because DBD has a ART team who’s majors are likely in graphic design and or, just art. You put people who major in art in sound design and they wouldn’t know what to do unless one of them had a minor in music, but that can only go so far.
Resources are limited, you can’t change that. This is also not the only thing BHVR puts their time into. They provide assets, and they make their own music. While notification sounds are annoying you need to understand the visual aspect of it. Notifications shouldn’t matter, visuals should. BHVR is a corporation but they have 600 employees and they all have different objectives. BHVR as a company has a right to put more money into a certain team than another for budgeting, but if BHVR wants money, cosmetics do the trick. BHVR regardless of how you put it needs to have enough money to support its workers, pay for licensing, support their health insurance, pay for EVERYTHING they need. Notification noises are so arbitrary in the grand scheme of things— there’s no reason to when there’s no issue to begin with. I can understand the frustration but even if BHVR makes money they still can do however they want with the gross funds from it, not to mention the other things their workplace has to keep up with.
TLDR: No matter how you put it, BHVR still has to live up to paying workers livable wages, and this isn’t the only thing they focus on. They are allowed to put more money into cosmetics if they get more in return (which, they do), and budgeting and overall objective in the company is handled INTERNALLY. There’s so many external factors I feel like you ignored.
I simply can’t change your mind for you, nor am I too qualified to speak because I have maybe a few business classes underneath my belt, but that’s as far as my ray of knowledge goes. I just don’t understand what the issue is when it already is so minor.
Personally, I think notification noises don’t need to be addressed— colorblind settings do. Visual updates should take priority over something that is fine as it already is, however, I think you’re right in some aspects, yes, but I think that at the end of the day there’s only so much you can expect from a company. No matter how much a workplace can sugarcoat it, the goal of it is to make money. It’s only natural BHVR would push for such, they need to support all the costs they have to manage.
EDIT: I just want to provide feedback at the post at hand. I’m not attacking you, your ideologies or anything of the such, but rather, debate things in a polite manner where we can bring other topics to the conversation that may be relative to it— but simply put, I came here with an open mind (but bias will always exist), and I just want to know what you think of the issue.
I’m not affiliated with BHVR in the slightest but they what I’m trying to say is that they still have their own priorities and objectives.
While consumer satisfaction is important, I haven’t seen anyone have issues with the notification system as how it is now.
Your heart is in a good place. While I disapprove, my likeness towards you forbids me to say much more on said topic.
I will say this: the colorblind option you and I agree on completely. In fact, I have a perk idea: A perk that simply highlights survivors much like, or perhaps exactly like, Myers stalking. You push a button and for a limited amount of time, survivors are highlighted. This means colorblind people can use this perk to make the game much more accessible. And because a whole perk slot is being used up, it's easy to balance around.
@Mat_Sella said:
They're similar on purpose, one of the things the game lets you do is distract the killer due to noise notifications being the same, hence the premise of Diversion.
To change the noise mechanic is to break a core part of the game.
You can call people that use Loud Noise toxic, but it's an effective way of getting the killers attention without exactly notifying them of what is currently happening.
You're right. I hadn't thought of this.
@Sarafina said:
They actually spoke about this during one of their streams and I remember they discuss providing too much map awareness to the Killer. I think the notification itself is enough, it alerts you the location of the Survivor but really? People want the survivors aura revealed?
No, not as in you can see them while they are moving. The boom sound already pinpoints a location. I'm just saying a change as in the change they made from booming Ravens to red aura Ravens. And these aura's will be static. Think Doc's tracking perk when a Survivor screams.

Ya, this is in fact an err on my own part. I'm far too passive.

Here ye'! Here ye'! Yay's and nay's are in order! I vote ... nay!

Hmmmmm. So a crouched Pig can still be detected by premonition? :(

Art Team is different from sound and design.
Their own team allocates money to each dept. I just can't stand this, "Different dept." ... argument that is perfunctory among you rabble. BHVR is a corporation, thus, acts as it's own totalitarian agency — without external pressure from regulations that mandate how the DBD team, in particular, allocate their resources. Stop this "Different dept." nonsense.

I did not notice that cause I don't play Trapper, I don't like not having any power.
Also, you need to relax buddy, go take a walk or something.
I'm on klonopin almost all day. It's biologically impossible for me to not be relaxed.
