The video game had him with a spear as well. They can mix it up with the cosmetics.

Surprisingly this map is good for Nurse with all the visibility.
The issue I see with the map is there are only a handful of windows. Two in the long T L. One by an exit gate. One by the god loops above the bathroom. One in the freezer room. Bad for Lithe players.

Demogorgon:
Alien

It actually might be the only adjustment needed. This and bottle reload speeds were the main arguments that Clown’s ability was more detrimental than helpful.
Clown was the first killer I enjoyed playing. Looking forward to the update.

IDK been playing a lot recently and grinding through the archive challenges. this means some games I am not as much of a help to the team because I need to do very specific things that don't come up all that often in game play. this does cause me to die or get taken out early with little to no bloodpoints and even though I'm strattling purple ranks I sometimes find myself in match after match with rank 20's after a 3 game losing streak with very little bp earned.
That makes sense. The challenges don’t always lead to good gameplay. The first archive’s Spine Chill challenge was a nightmare. The recent one with Dwight hiding by the killer as well.
True was claiming these things long before the Archives. That’s why the posts above are stereotyping him.
-
I switched to PC at the beginning of February. I have twelve P3 killers and four P3 survivors. It’s been considerably easier to do with the three week blood rush and all the Archives.
If the anniversary event is similar to last year I plan on loading up Gateaux’s on my favorite characters while I tier 3 there perks.
-
Truetalent likes to talk up his opponents. I think that’s better then the opposite.
He doesn’t get SWF results from his solo queue because the great SWFs are four mans and he doesn’t SWF.
Hes probably wrong about MMR though.
-
I’m All Ears is the perfect perk for Ghostface. Not many killers have great perks for themselves in their teachables. They’re usually really great for another killer: Shadowborn on Nurse, Nurse’s Calling on Wraith for example.
-
Favorite: Hillbilly’s Leg Piece from the Spring Cookout outfit. The one with cowboy boots and rabbits hanging from the sides. So many of Hillbilly’s leg pieces look bad imo yet this one looks great and even better works with many other pieces like the prestiged body and the hallowed blight.
Least favorite: Spirits hallowed blight head piece. This and the new Oni outfit with their froggish throats are pretty gross to me and not in a good way. Which is a shame because the concepts are great but would prefer something that makes the characters appear badass over ridiculously deformed.
-
The older maps were the best imo. Somehow most balanced. Ormond on the other hand...
I don’t think survivors like Hawkins and killers shouldn’t like Dead Dawg Saloon.
-
Scott Jund called for this about three months ago. DBD listens to its streamers:
-
It’s a secondary action button and the medkit still needs charges. It’s one of the top buttons when I played on PS4.
-
I just don’t buy the grindy argument. I’m level sixty and clearly going to be long done before the end of the timer. The challenges are just blood points.
-
Plus one to Nurse being overrated. I need to face more god Nurses before I start ranking her higher. My tougher games seem to be Freddy and Spirit.
-
For Huntress I am a big fan of the Mama Bear outfit. The head piece in particular blends with her Prestiged body and surprisingly with her new Russian Uniform body. I also think the bloody weapon is better than her Prestiged axe. Also the body piece is really interesting. Lots of little things to notice on it, very articulated, plus I like looking at the blue arms while playing. Big big fan of Mama Bear.
-
I didn’t think it was debatable. This is the number one criticism of his power and poof it’s removed.
-
I have mixed feelings on this. Yes it’s an unfair play 💯 but is it really a win for the survivors? They lose far more bloodpoints than the killer (an entire games worth vs an actions worth) and are penalized for a progressively larger period of time.
Is that not enough?
-
People are “toxic” because it’s fun. That’s it. It’s almost a maturity thing but even then it’s fun to let go of rules.
Also, imo there are no sins in EGC. Face camp, proxy, slug, whatever. Anyone who plays killer should be empathetic. Anyone who makes any accusations about something in EGC is just inexperienced.
-
Any reward they decide on is lagniappe. I really expect nothing and am hoping for a nice treat since I’ve already prestiged so much.
-
I think it’s an interesting idea but probably not be implemented since definitions are hazy in the community. Like players call Dead Hard a second chance perk.
Imagine. So dead hard or decisive strike? Decisive strike or borrowed time? Borrowed time or WGLF? The more I think about it the more I think a nerf like this is a bad idea.
-
It’s red ranks or don’t play it seems
-
It’s alluded to by some of the comments already but I feel that most of these ‘Ghostface is broken’ threads are just a lack of understanding his ability and the nuances to it.
-
If anyone wants to revisit the first rift outfits I recommend Paulie’s fashion show video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P-oVAkjBKg0 -
Yeah, I switched from Console to PC during the second rift. Wish I had the first rift outfits. Particularly Huntress’s yellow weapon, Nurse’s blight, and Hillbilly’s recolored outfit.
-
Freddy has too many mechanics that ease the game as a killer. He has an automatic slowdown, faster teleport, survivor highlighting, and safe hook save counter (oblivious) when survivors go asleep in his base kit. Without any add ons: gen speeds, heal speeds, stealth, looping, and saving are countered.
Its also easy to put survivors into sleep and not particularly easy to get out since the clocks are always the furthest away. Survivors are automatically put into sleep every sixty seconds, so you’d have to wake up a minimum of eight to twelve times in a game that requires the survivors to run the full length of the map.
His base kit should be reviewed and add ons boosted to compensate in a portion of these areas ala the Nurse rework.
-
They’re saving FIVE nights at Freddys for the FIFTH anniversary. Caps to help boost understanding.
-
I’m Tier 42. I wish there were more levels. Not sure why it feels impossible when it feels easily accomplished.
-
Monitor and Abuse is also an effective perk on Spirit. The whooshing notification is not based on terror radius but was always 24 meters from the husk. So there’s no loss in ability using it.
My biggest tip is watching the ground for signs of movement in addition to listening. Listening gives you a general idea of where the survivors are. The grass moving is definitive.
My last tip is to come out of phasing if you know a survivor you were chasing stopped running. A common tool survivors use is to stop running and walk/urban evade to a hiding spot. The faster you do this to when they stop running the faster you can smack them while they’re walking to their random hiding spot. It’s way easier to hit a walking survivor as well.
This is also known as feathering your ability. Sometimes short phases are the best moves and don’t be afraid to mix up your choices. If you waited by a pallet during your first chase, use your ability quickly in the second. Keeps everyone off balance.
-
I feel this topic is an upset feeling about how much content is in the game without recognizing the choice in how much content is utilized by the individual players.
There are forty characters but you don’t have to work on all forty characters. Yes we have more options but a player can act like there’s only the original four survivors and three killers and be alright. There’s no requirement to move to any other character. Players choose where to put their effort.
I have a friend that only plays Meg for survivor. They prestige three’d Meg, then unlock teachables on other characters so they can unlock them on Meg. No sin here. Not too much grind because they chose to simplify their effort.
-
Alien would be my best case scenario for Chapter 16.
Otherwise, they’ve done an incredible job on killer design especially over the last year. Even if it’s a killer I wouldn’t have preferred, I still expect a quality addition to the mix.
-
I’m like OP: Level 41.
I wish the rift was more comprehensive because I’m on pace to easily finish it by the third level.
Also looking forward to the full cherry Spirit outfit, too. I’m really dig the Legion outfit as well. Looks great blended with the prestiged mask and weapon.
-
Players find losing toxic. Not really the method they lost by.
-
Feels like a shadow nerf. I haven’t seen any acknowledgement of the changes being a bug yet.
-
I’ll be grinding for a prestige today so this is perfect timing. Hopefully I can hit the mil and walk away but that’s unlikely.

Huntress is probably the least add-on dependent killer in the entire game. She’s one of the better killers that can dominate if the player is good with Huntress.
She’s only good if you’re comfortable with Huntress. You have to get used to her before you start playing her well. Probably the hardest killer to learn besides Nurse. It’s easier if you’re used to FPS games.
I counter with Spirit, Freddy, and Hillbilly. You can tell if a killer is add on dependent by their brown add ons imo.
-
Got it first try by doubling up on generators. A lot of the perk challenges don’t usually depend on the window that the perk is useful but just having the perk attached.

I will never run brutal strength on any killer lol. Terrible perk and a waste of a slot. Pop is good as well. I interchange them from time to time but I'd run noed on huntress b4 ever running brutal lmao!
Well that’s a strong opinion. I would just encourage you to try it out. Removing pallets is a massive advantage to almost all killers. I found it particularly good on Huntress because you can remove pesky longer tile pallets and pull a hatchet up relatively quickly.

Corrupt Intervention is a ridiculously overrated perk. I'm a rank 1 killer and I never use it. It just makes survivors move slightly to do a different generator. Generator speeds are not keeping you from reaching rank 1.
Corrupt is I think properly rated for certain killers. Other killers don’t need that time and so it’s not useful on them (Ghostface).
I would agree with OP, although this was probably not their point, is that high rank killer is very difficult without perks and an understanding of using those perks. Either to slow down survivor interactions or to improve chases. If a player performing poorly refuses these perks then that’s a self inflicted handicap.
-
She is not top three but she is viable and no words will remove that truth.
We all have bad games time to time and my worst games are when I first start playing a killer. I remember thinking Doctor, Wraith, Hillbilly were terrible killers. OP may still be getting used to Huntress like I was with Hillbilly but she is lauded for a reason.
-
Brutal Strength and Pop over Ruin and Monitor. The advantages to chase are massive, especially for a 110% killer. BBQ is a given. I use the fourth slot for tracking. My perk of choice has been I’m All Ears for the chase potential.
-
Spirit is the best killer on console.
-
Either the killer was farming points because he sweeped the team too fast or maybe the survivor broke the killers code for gifting hatch. Most likely the first one in my guestimation.
-
I think on hills the character kind of slides down the side of it and that’s why it doesn’t trigger a great height. An easy rule of thumb are second floor windows.
-
There are add ons that increase the range of Demogorgon’s instinct.

Do you even have a clue how long it takes to save up 100 million bp? According to stats it took me over 4k hrs to save up 380 million bp in total.
How’d you calculate that?
-
So if they’re asleep it’s really hard for them to save since you can just intercept.
-
This thread is gross.
-
Great post, great series. If I wasn’t still working on older survivors and killers I’d be using this 100% to save for the next chapter(s).
-
100% I will. I’m only human afterall. If I perceive the killer or survivor as being ‘inconsiderate’ of others, I sometimes make it two wrongs.
-
Pig’s add ons are largely afflictions to survivors wearing helmets. Why wouldn’t a Pig patrol the boxes? It’s not fun for my survivor games (seriously some of my worst games) but the game built her this way, not Kakateve.

Sounds Like the comment was probably justified to me. Do you patrol your jigsaw boxes?
