Thanks for the heads up on the trailer. I would guess Werewolf as well since he appears to be in a painful transformation.
-
I never look at survivor perks. Maybe I should but I just kind of play how I play regardless with very little curiosity after the match.
-
I was thinking about doing this challenge with Ghostface rather than perks. I hope it works correctly.

You should definitely be able to gift bloodpoints. Then I could spend my BP on my PS4 instead of on Switch where I barely have anything to spend it on.
Farm accounts would be made to gift dailies, etc. Heck I might use my PS4 account to gift to my PC.

3.08m/s, idk the percentage of that
It’s compared to survivor sprint speed (4.00 m/s) so that is 77% for Huntress. I think that’d be a reasonable restart for Executioner.

You are trying to compare a long range killer to a close range killer. PH is fine.
I am comparing them and Angelicus seems to know the numbers.

He goes at 92% speed while using the power until it's fully off/cancelled
Interesting. What does Huntress move at during hers?

He has a cooldown for cancel too as the huntress
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5OS4EKUZR8GV/screenshot-20200813-213024.jpg
Exec can’t swing immediately (0.5 sec) but there’s no slowdown during the cooldown.
-
It’s probably needed. Huntress has a cooldown when putting down her hatchet. Mimic that and I’d be okay with it. Executioner’s current cooldown only comes from missing his attack.
-
Applying pressure includes hooking survivors and occupying their time off of generators. It’s a bit of lame shorthand but applying pressure is exactly how the killer wins.
-
The devs said they would re-release rift cosmetics after quite a period. This cosmetic is from the third Tome. We haven’t had a release for the first Tome yet so we don’t even know the duration after the Tome or how they can be purchased. Bloodpoints are very unlikely but maybe shards/auric cells.
-
I like the challenge though. When I first start on a new killer I go for the adept first. Takes a few games but it's fun to have something to aim for.
Oni was my hardest one fwiw. I am red rank so all four iridescents is the goal.
Only have one left: Nightmare. And that's because I do not really like playing as Freddy. Found him very boring on PS4.

so they little kids in the school yard.
I'll take this thought a step further. It's not about identifying them and shaming them into changing their behavior. It's about not getting upset over stranger's words and knowing how to deal with people who act like that. The world doesn't get smaller, the person gets bigger.
-
No, I’m too competitive for this. I want to stay at the top and feel I am beating the top players. If I am in a sour enough mood I do something else.
-
If they want to be seen as a competitive game, yes.
If they want to be seen as a party game, no.
-
Amazing as always. Thanks, Cashel.
-
Yes, DBD twitter announced the MMR will be disabled this morning. They may not disable killer lock though. If the problem is it is working but needs time to build a calculation for the players, then they may continue to have it run in the background so the veterans can be properly placed ahead.
-
You should be able to grab them from under hook. Just got to be on the correct side.
-
There’s nothing wrong with unbreakable. Its slug insurance. Survivors bring one of four perks for an ability they use once every ten games.
-
I think it has to do with player skill level. It’s getting harder to say that with recent MMR issues, but is there a chance the killer played badly? We all go in and out of potato.
If the killer doesn’t chase, drops chases, runs tiles poorly, doesn’t regress generators, misses hits/abilities, doesn’t hook slugs: generators will go by quickly. Play a game of AFK Wraith and see how long gens go for and it’s probably about the same.
-
Four of his addons were literally useless. I was hoping they’d change the add ons though.
-
Increasing base heat dissipation wasn’t the only adjustment they made for Hillbilly’s overheat mechanic.
-
Four of his addons just raised some eyebrows. They were literally useless before.
-
Billy nooooo

I’m at eighteen. I figure seven levels a week to get to seventy. Means myself and most players in this thread are ahead of the curve since we’re just now ending the second week.

They should be tracking DC's during the period when they are "off" and slap bans of full equivalent time when re-enabled. Would love to see the salty cries when they realize they have a month long ban. But they won't, so I may as well play the item stealing wraith. Bing-bong, franklin's, then dc. Best to do this with event items.
This is an evil post lol.
-
Shadowborn oddly makes playing killers feel faster. To me it's a must have on Hillbilly.

I was saying what I was saying in support of DC penalties, sorry if that wasn't clear enough in the post. I agree with your points.
Gotcha, re-reading it with that context I see what you mean. Silly me. Hopefully if anyone misses that like I did they can see these posts.
-
I hope they get the glow back like before. Gotta push back on best Legion cosmetic though. Julie's rift cosmetic straight rocks my socks.

I'll say it upfront. I'm a killer main who, while lacking a short fuse, definitely gets capital-s Salty. Like, so salty it seeps through my playstyle and makes it unfun for everyone involved. I've DC'd plenty of times when everything hits the fan (Like when you're trying an experimental killer build with low-tier perks and you get a red forest map of all realms while the 4 survivors run A tier perks.)
I've heard a lot of backlash about DC penalties a while back, which have died down recently due to the MMR system being the new hot topic, but I've been thinking about it.
If I'm salty enough to where the game is genuinely super unfun to me and I disconnect, why would a penalty really matter to me? Unless I've been doing it often and get a long ban, I'm not going to return to a game that infuriated me within the allotted ban time. Maybe it's just me and my lifestyle, but if you're really angry enough to DC that often and want to play immediately after, I think you have a personal addiction problem that the game shouldn't have to adapt around.
Oh and also I have ZERO clue if these are still active cause again, I don't pick up DBD for like another two hours if I DC. Please let me know if they aren't so that I can evaluate how much clownery is in my bloodstream.
(Also rework second stage hook so that survivors can't suicide and so that my spacebar doesn't get beaten to a pulp everytime I play survivor thanks bye)
Part of the DC Penalty utility, and the developers literally said this, is to give capital-s Salty gamers a forced break from the game. If you're in a mood, you'll probably still be in a mood the next game, too. Step back from it.
The addiction diagnosis may be a bit of a broad stroke but it is an interesting thought.
Also, I'm not a fan of it-doesn't-matter logic. It cuts both ways too often. Like, since it doesn't matter, we can just deal with the DC Penalty timeouts we earned then can't we?

Holy #########. I started over on PC in January and I have like five P1 characters in total... how many hours have you put in to grind that fast?
@GoodLookinCookin said:

I guess to each there own, I don't find enough time or energy to grind that much for so long just to play the game how I want to play it.
1,100 hours on Steam. I also forgot to mention that I complete dailies and completed all of the Tome/Archive challenges (each gives easily two million apiece).
I think a major difference is how I approached the game the ‘second’ time through. Much more efficiently (especially in managing teachables) and already had the game knowledge from my console days.
Seriously, the events made a huge difference. I completed six prestiges (five killer, one survivor) during the March COVID Blood Rush, which was way more than expected.
-
I started DBD on PS4 in March 2019. By February 2020 I had fifteen P3 killers and seven P3 survivors. February I moved to PC.
I have seventeen P3 killers and six P3 survivors. It’s not too much. Especially with events like the COVID Blood Rush and Anniversary event.
-
I trade boops for hits. I think it's fair. A little something for you. A little something for me.
-
It's really interesting how many people threw Billy off the top of the mountain with this nerf. In my opinion he's still a top tier killer. It's very strange that others dropped him without charge addons.
-
Guards! Arrest this individual!
-
It’s a good question. I wanted to play better and started watching YouTube videos. Collecting different ideas.
I would say it for sure benefited my ability to play the game.
Dark Souls seems to be doing fine though and they famously have no tutorials. I would say this is a difficult game to pick up, too.

@Artick said:
Yes, yes, I know, you are already yelling at me for daring to say something so offensive, but bear with me for 5 seconds. I will make this extremely clear and short.
The following scenarios can happen:
1.You were planning to camp: BT did it's job, nothing more to say.
2.You don't camp and leave the hook: the hooked survivor will get unhooked and BT won't come into play. Now you have 1 healthy survivor(the unhooker) and 1 injured survivor(the unhooker) off gens, with one that needs to heal. Since you left the hook, you need to search for a survivor to chase.
3.You don't plan to camp, but a survivor rushes the hook with BT before you can leave: you get a hit on the unhooker, the unhooked survivor tanks a hit with BT. Now you have 1 injured survivor(the unhooker), 1 survivor that needs to mend and heal(the unhooked survivor) and you also have your next target to chase(any of the 2 survivor), no need to waste time searching for a new target.
Therefore, the math clearly says that survivors rushing the hook with BT when you had no plans to camp is actually in your favor. If they rushed the hook but you still planned to camp, see #1. There can be slight differences in #3, like the unhooked survivor not being able to tank the hit and you downing the unhooker, which is even more in your favor.
Remind me again, why are you complaining about BT if you are not a camper?

I do and I have no issue with BT. Do you have an actual argument?
Our killers are getting stronger 💪

Ghostface has one of the best P3’s in the game
-
I don’t know that he’s buffed. In some ways he was nerfed. No charge or cooldown addons. PWYF/Nemesis combo not really all that viable.
He is however inarguably more interesting to play. And moves faster in his ability.

You think DS Unbreakable isn't a crutch, but noed is? Lmfao.
I think you may have misread my post. DS, unbreakable, and NOED are all fine and dandy to use in my view.
lmfao,

Okay, I can't respond to everyone but this was insightful!
Thank you! I'm definitely going to give it a try on some of the low mobility, non-insta killers!
Awesome. I wouldn’t recommend it on Huntress just fyi.

@Zozzy said:
What is the point when you have already made up your mind?
You think DS unbreakable adrenaline and sanctioned cheating (swf) are fine.
End of story.
It is fine.
If there was a downvote button I’d probably get wrecked for this opinion but I think it’s players who are not particularly good at the game who complain about them.
Their rules and use are clear and easy to play around.
If we want to do a wHaT aBoUt then yeah duh NOED is fine too. The game is actually in an amazing spot mechanically. MMR needs to settle so that deficiency in player skill can become more transparent, which is again my hunch.
-
Being able to attack successively is for sure a very strong perk on most killers. Its really only not useful on instadown killers. I run it as ‘my’ meta on Doctor, Clown, Wraith, Trapper, Pig, Nightmare, Demogorgon, Executioner, Spirit, Hag.
-
This cosmetic came from Tome II. The first Tome hasn’t been released for people who missed it yet. If I had to guess we’re looking at nine months to a year from the end of the Tome. Might not be able to expect it until December.
-
I tend to mix-match and incorporate prestiged cosmetics. Oddly, on Hillbilly (one of my favorite killers), I prefer his other paid cosmetics.
-
I was watching my friend playing Adept Deathslinger. He got a merciless with the three perks but the achievement didn’t display.
I checked his Steam profile and it was unlocked. Maybe, Raccoon, check to make sure?
-
There are great Nurse guides on YouTube. I wouldn’t say I’m a great Nyrse, but I surprisingly got the timing down from watching other players play Nurse. It is like a second nature.
-
Well, if this was a poll I would vote for all the most popular perks are fine in their current form.
-
Reported for using non cosmetic Hillbilly legs.
-
Claudette and Trapper on PC.
David and Clown on PS4.
