This meme build is extremely unreliable and very stupid, but I really enjoy running these perks on Legion:
Hex: Ruin, Dead Man's Switch, Distressing, and Furtive Chase. I use Legion's power to basically shove my way through every Survivor that isn't the Obsession, and I hook the Obsession as soon as possible to get Dead Man's Switch. I then run around the map trying to scare people off of Generators.

To be fair. Jane's Day of the Dead glowy skin had itself lesser glowy. So it may be not a bug issue. It's been unglowy for awhile.
The survivor Day of the Dead skins were intentionally unglowy since survivors are inherently stealthier than a killer like Legion, and while there's bright cosmetics having one literally glowing would be too far, so it wasn't implemented that way.
The Legion skins were fully glowy though, which has recently been bugged out. It's unfortunate. They made my man Frank look like an ice pop.

Part of the DC Penalty utility, and the developers literally said this, is to give capital-s Salty gamers a forced break from the game. If you're in a mood, you'll probably still be in a mood the next game, too. Step back from it.
The addiction diagnosis may be a bit of a broad stroke but it is an interesting thought.
Also, I'm not a fan of it-doesn't-matter logic. It cuts both ways too often. Like, since it doesn't matter, we can just deal with the DC Penalty timeouts we earned then can't we?
I was saying what I was saying in support of DC penalties, sorry if that wasn't clear enough in the post. I agree with your points.

Last I heard they’re still disabled (2nd time). That’s prolly why the talk has died down. If they can fix the hack exploit and re-enable penalties, you can be certain it’ll be a hot topic again!
Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully the third time will be the charm for DC penalties.

At least with gimmicky Twitter accounts there's some definite devotion to sort of admire? Unlike the replies every game Twitter account gets on every post that boil down to "Just stop adding bugs 4head."
Between those people and meme spammers the reply section of Twitter has turned to absolute garbage for Gamers

Sorta depends? Lovecraftian in design would probably be fine, but in power level in-lore it'd probably be jarring, since the Entity kinda serves as the eldritch horror of the game and having something actively rival it would be difficult to write and a very, very noticeable outlier in the Killer roster.

All games have problems with major patches, but Dead by Daylight does have it particularly bad for various reasons, some BHVR's fault and some not. If it bothers you a bunch and you don't want to stop playing for a week after major patches, then this game probably isn't great for you and I'd look into refunds.

Best collection of skins ever in my opinion. I appreciate that they took liberties on the design and have new takes on it rather than just going the most obvious, white bread way. I'll get around to buying all of them, even if I'll be slow with it just due to not wanting to spend 150 on cosmetics in one go.

I'm happy with most of the sets so far (Even if the rare cheryl ones being linked is... ugh.) but I do have a concern that it'll be flooded with a lot of skins that have very miniscule reason to be sets (Such as the new Jane one. I love it but you didn't have to lift up the leg portion by like 8% and then call it a linked skin lol.)
I'd rather they try and make most cosmetics unlinked with the occasional linked ones for designs that just wouldn't be possible otherwise, rather than its current state where there's miniscule differences that make a skin linked (Such as giving Clown like, 1 extra chin. C'mon now.)

I'm surprised Yui is getting so many cosmetics so fast. Maybe I'm not paying much attention to it but I haven't seen nearly as many Yui players as I have Kate, Meg, Feng, and Cheryl players.
Regardless, I wouldn't be disappointed about Kate getting a goddess cosmetic as long as its treated & designed as respectfully as the other Greek Legends cosmetics.

Mechanics that exist to cancel other mechanics are a pretty fundamental aspect of game design. They exist so certain mechanics don't end up being uncontestable.
Interesting. I don't really see flashlights being uncontestable? There's a few necessary evil mechanic-cancelling perks (such as Corrupt Intervention) but I don't see a point in Lightborn being like that, other than them stubbornly wanting a perk that solely counters flashlights + firecrackers (do people actually use those btw? I'm on vacation too much to play when they're prevalent finds.)

Dang didn't know the fourth wall was a destructible one in DBD.

They updated the auras, which does look better imo but it's just not as practical as it used to be and messed with perk balance a lot. If they hotfix anything, I hope they turn up the brightness or contrast of the auras.
