Console does not mean just PlayStation. Why PlayStation users have a hard time understanding this is a mystery.
I didn’t mean to offend. That’s why I said PlayStation specifically y’goofball.
-
I got a feeling they’re taking a pass on PlayStation optimization until the Five releases later this year.
-
DC penalties are reenabled. Sometimes these fellas are messaging because they cannot play/killing time.
-
Oh no the rage quitting might stop now. This is a travesty /s
Players were DC’ing yesterday because the killer wasn’t Hillbilly or Cannibal.

Even with it's new changes, it will be horrible. Do people not realize there's like...2 pallets that force you to go straight after using them? They're on The Game. Otherwise survivors don't typically just run straight after a drop.
You hit them as they’re dropping it. My concern with the addon is that the five second timer likely procs even when kicking a pallet/wall.
-
So the ingame descriptions changed but don’t expect an update until the hotfix patch?
-
At first sight it’s no good.
-
Read the emblems individually after a match. Those have better explanations than what we can say in this thread.
-
I feel that back revving may be stronger with the shorter cooldown. But also weaker without charge time addons.
Hes so different that I kinda forgive the nerfs he 100% received.
Besides, who was fighting for camping Cannibal?

shadowborn has nothing to do with forced camera movement tho. Its not like I have motions sickness on billy previously because it was able ot freely use the camera
So you’re not going to try it?
-
Yeah, the reports of his death we’re premature.
-
Shadowborn reportedly helps with killer motion sickness. I’d recommend it on Hillbilly anyways to help with dodging survivors.
-
Huntress, Shape, Pig

I hadn’t heard this at all.

They probably meant by that that they where happy the way he could pressure survivors, chase them around or get EVENTUALLY counterplayed
But the fact is they kinda knew what the problem was, but cmprobanly didnt had any idea yet about how to fix it as billy had almost instadowns, all the time, at great speed and he could rush from 1 hook to another leaving no time for survivors to even escape him. Beside i also guess there was way more billy players back then then now? I dunno.
What caused his changes is also probably the addition of new maps and mostly perks to help him secure quick kills and games like the plague perk to make other survivors cry when you down someone, seen so so many games get done quickly because of this or because you couldnt unhook another survivor without getting on the hook yourself
There are always many things to look on and you cant always patch what you wanna patch when you wanna patch it
They probably should have nerfed infectious fright.
-
F.
-
I don’t have issues on this map. I learned the layout. Idk about yall but I don’t do cross map chases. It’s almost always a survivor looking the wrong way to start a chase.
-
Billy wasn’t just a good boy. He was the best boy. You will be missed sir.
-
I think a hatch that cannot be closed should also spawn when the killer is camping.
-
I do miss DC penalties but hacked penalizing was far worse than this.
-
I’m a ho for bloodpoints. Killer gets 2500 deviousness for the wipeout. If I need it to max, I want it.
-
If they beat me, they’re a blasted SWF; if they lose, they couldn’t possibly have been one haha!
Or so it seems on the forums.
-
Oni was top five since Scott Jund established his build.
-
Agreed it could use a buff. One I mulled on was have it apply 24% regression, applied proportioned by the number of affected generators.
One Gen? 24%.
Two gens. 12% each
Three gens. 8% and so on.
-
Hit the unhooker from the side. If the unhooker is between the killer and the hook, this seems to happen.
And it’s a bug. Some of y’all are silly.
-
The problems listed were not inherently problems with a SWF. A solo queuer could sandbag or work with the killer, too. Sorry you had poor teammates.
-
Trapper, Clown, Wraith, and Legion do not need reworks in my opinion. Maybe some sort of QoL change. Some small adjustment.
Pig, in my opinion, could use an add on rework. Her add ons encourage an unfun playstyle. She has all the justification in the world to tunnel masked survivors.
I don’t blame the Pigs for doing it. It is the add ons and their benefits are clear.
-
Start with Leatherface, then Clown, then trapper. If you don’t like those killers, at least their perks are very good on almost all killers.
-
Don’t walk around holding shred. Do short holds. Hit at choke points or windows (high percent plays) or let go for basic attack.
I’ve seen a lot of players swear by the brown add on that makes Demo faster while holding. I think it’s a crutch to a bad habit. Portals are more useful than given credit.
-
Hillbilly has several disadvantages. This thought that he doesn’t is the error in every nerf-Billy post I’ve seen.
-
Clicking the SWF doesn’t make bad players gaming savants. OP and the like are struggling with good players haha.
-
Unhooking is the weakest moment for survivors and they want to abuse it. It works a lot. Borrowed time is one of the few perks that makes it a little more bearable with that kind of killer.
Like I am totally capable of doing that same maneuver. I just never thought to complain about it and politic to get it removed. There’s something really gross to me about that last sentence.
There were versions of some of these perks, as you alluded to, that were unfairly designed. DS, MoM, BT. These latest versions just aren’t.

Being camped and tunneled is demoralizing for the survivors.
And yet tbagging, clicking, and emoting doesn't affect your gameplay at all, like camping and tunneling are legitimate strategies. If you're fine with one, you should be fine with the other.
I should’ve put a /s on my post. I completely agree with you and like to joke about its ‘impact.’
-
I am very curious about the outfits as well. Two faced Hag? Karate Ace?
To your question, how do we know you didn’t just draw that? I’m going to need more proof, sir, or you’ll never get your legacy back. Oh wait.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
To add to this,
Tbagging, clicking, and emoting have no impact on gameplay, nor on you.
Have a good day.
Teabagging, clicking, and emoting is for demoralizing the killer. Very effective strategy in the age of no DC penalty. Something something, good day.
-
At least we agree the DC penalty was a good thing. Hope they find a fix.

My post has nothing to do with any of Otzdarva's or Ayrun's videos regarding Alert. It is just an opinion I've had for months, and decided to be vocal now because I realized that Breakable walls are going to become a bigger thing after the reworked maps go live, and so Alert will become more popular.
Breakable walls is a good point. But give credit where credits due.

We have come full circle.

It's great you had to rant but the harsh trust is you will never, never, get better as killer if you camp. The matchmaking is incredibly harsh right now but all that means is that you'll be getting better in chases against better players.
Also, no offence, but your ideal build isn't too good. Sure there's perks that can one shot but its no use being able to do so if you can't find survivors (information builds) and slow the game (gen perks). Particularly you said you preferred to play one shot killers? Then there's no point using one shot perks as it's part of the base kit; you enhance strength with perks (like Nurses or I'm All Ears on Pyramid Head) or help cover weaknesses (like PWYF on Bubba helping his rather bad chase potential).
Watch some videos on how to run tiles, watch people who play lots of killer (I suggest ZubatLEL and ScottJund for two very entertaining but also educational streamers. There's also Otzdava, NotOtzdava, and Fungoose.) and you'll learn and improve like that.
The best way to improve is through playing, but camping won't ever improve your skills.
Also as one last point; don't make the same mistake I did. Don't become reliant on NOED (No One Escapes Death) because when it doesn't activate you'll be ruined. You're much better off learning killer without it then putting it on, instead of learning with it then having to re-learn when you take it off.
Yup, only way to learn is try new things. Clearly the method utilized by OP doesn’t net him kills.
-
Otzdarvas been using it. Makes sense that what he does becomes meta.
-
Leaks by Daylight. I feel to say specifics on the forum is rude.

My bad then, didn't notice the text at the bottom, thought it was LIVE, not PTB.
I guess only time will tell, when the PTB comes to LIVE
No worries. It was a good question.

Don't think so, I've used both engravings together as Bill recently, didn't notice any speed nerfs
In the Hillbilly PTB with his addon rework, the engravings had a reduction in their speed increase, but kept the charge time penalty.
-
Huntress isn’t S tier because tiers should be based on high skill survivors. All killers look good against bad survivors.
-
Anything worth running on the PTB Hillbilly has a penalty tacked on. It’s why players disliked old Nurse’s add ons. Nothing just does good things.
Less likely to hit a wall? Can’t turn.
Go slightly faster (nerfed the engraving speeds)? Same slowdown on charge time.
Yellow charge time addon becomes purple? Huntress movement speed (laughably bad).
Increased turning? Hit a wall and your chase is over.
A lowly iridescent addon that makes the killer not instadown. Laughable.
The flashlight addons are an idea. I’d prefer action speed boosts in addition to a movement speed buff. Otherwise it doesn’t do anything really.
-
When a lot of matches don’t make it to endgame, NOED isn’t very useful. It’s planning for failure. The other thing is if the killer had a fourth perk they could use throughout the match, they may have performed better.
I have to admit though, if so many of my killer compatriots didn’t bring it, the threat of NOED wouldn’t exist and survivors wouldn’t do bones. Which may be helping my matches.
-
Time to play killer.
-
I tunnel everyone at the same time. It’s necessary.
-
Apparently they could’ve bled out next to a hook and it’s not griefing. I don’t know that there is any reportable offense in this but can agree it is a terrible way to lose. I prefer going into another match myself.
-
I like to imagine a future where every kick is a 5% progress regression. In that future, PGTW does less progress regression to match to current levels. They did the same with Brutal Strength.
