Even if all those seasonal stuff are removed from display, they are still available to buy through Internet. Look, it's January and you can buy a summer snowsuit. So your comparison is nonsense.
BHVR can't control every store. Your comparison is nonsense.
BHVR has decided to end the seasonal sales. It's not the end of the damn world, and it's not a scam or 'greedy' or 'scummy'. Stop with the mental acrobatics to justify being angry at a tiny problem no one sane cares about.

Oh! ok, yeah. I could get behind there being more places for the one basement to spawn, sure! 😄

The inventory a store chooses to display is limited, if not by supply, then by the store's dimensions and limited shelf space. If wal mart had infinite shelf space, they would surely stock all kinds of seasonal decorations year round. Hence you can easily find Halloween costumes online at any time. So again, comparing physical constraints of brick and mortar stores to digital items is foolish.
No, it's not 'foolish' just because someone wants to screech that seasonal cosmetics are somehow predatory. Jesus.
But go off. It's clear some people just want to keep yelling about literal first-world problems that in no way affect their daily lives. No one is going to die or go bankrupt because holiday skins were limited to the damn holiday season. 🤦♂️

See this is the issue.
There is ZERO differentiation between playstyles BECAUSE of tunnelling. That is one MAJOR reason why it needs nerfing.
How can you have a game with such a huge magnitude of perks but the EXACT SAME PLAYSTYLE seen in so many games? That is so damn boring.
Sure, blame it all on tunneling.
And when Killers suddenly can't tunnel, and are forced into 12 hooks, and Survivors continue to genrush and 4K in under 5 minutes every match; what will be the next excuse?
You can tell the Killers that won't be here because they got sick of being insulted every time they lose because the game is massively unbalanced because one side threw a temper tantrum over dying in a PvP game where they can die.
Tunneling is fine.
If Survivors can focus down gens in under 5 minutes; Killers can focus down the weakest link. And if that shocks people in a bloody PvP game; then maybe they should stop playing PvP games.
Because it's 100% NOT FAIR to genrush while whining that your opponent does the equivalent, which is tunneling.

No, I want someone to be punished for selectively choosing 1 person at the start of the game and RUINING their gaming experience but allowing the other 3 to live because of it, meaning 0 pips for the survivor, pips for the killer and pips for the other 3 survivors.
It's really not that hard to play this game without tunnelling.
Heaven forbid the Killer plays as sweaty as the Survivors!
Survivors focus gens = Fine. Learn to get better pressuring gens, Killers!
Killers focus a Survivor = "They are ruining the game for someone!'.
News flash: The Killer wins by...killing people! By removing them from the game!
You don't get to decide HOW or WHEN the Killer can kill you just because being killed 'ruins the game!' for you. 🤦♂️

Hmm it's almost like inventory of physical goods is limited by store costs and space, but that doesn't apply whatsoever to video game DLC...
You completely missed the point. None of my examples were inventory based:
- The Halloween store has enough costumes to sell year-round. They just choose to b e open one month a year.
- Stores have enough candy to sell outside Valentine's Day.
- You think Wal-Mart runs out of Christmas decorations? They just store them away for next year.
Hmm, it's almost like every business rotates stock and store away seasonal items after that season ends. WEIRD! 🤔

Agreed

all this really does is reduce the effectiveness of nurses ability to outright deny looping... otherwise she still is able to travel throughout the map with relative ease and even through survivors off with her predictions....
No, all it really does is prevent her from ever getting a hit, as she is slower than Survivors, and needs to hit fatigue BEFORE she can hit.
During that fatigue; Survivors, who are faster than she is, run away.
So tell me; if Survivors can run away BEFORE she can swing, and she is SLOWER than Survivors, so she has to teleport to catch up; HOW DOES SHE HIT ANYONE? How?
- She can't teleport in front of them; They turn around & run during Fatigue.
- She can't mindgame; She's slower than Survivors. And she has to hit Fatigue before she can attack if she teleports.
- She can't cut them off; She is SLOWER THAN THEY ARE, and with your idea, she has to hit Fatigue before attacking. During Fatigue; Survivors RUN AWAY.
So, with your idea, how does she hit anyone? Ever?
-
That would...make DH basically useless.
Killers would then know if they have to bait it out, or when they are free to greed a swing, which ruins DH. I mean, how would it punish a greedy swing if every Killer could be told "They have DH; don't swing' based on the injured animation?

Wow, looks like someone missed the point entirely of this thread.
Please either come back informed or don't bother posting.
I got the thread just fine; OP lost his mind over winter cosmetics being seasonal, as if it was something new or surprising.
So please take your high horse out and put it in the stables instead of riding it around the forums, because I'll post wherever I want.
-
Did...did someone really lose their mind over seasonal outfits leaving after the season ends?
I wonder what OP's reaction would be to my local Halloween mega-store, which opens for October only and closes November 1st until next October 1st, every year.
Or how about when grocery stores only sell Valentine's Day candy around Valentine's Day.
Or how Christmas decorations leave stores after December 31st. Not to mention the holiday deals that end after the holidays! So much FOMO! Down with Big Money! 🤣
-
This would make Nurse unplayable.
Blinks, wheezes, Survivor runs away. Nurse has to blink to catch up, wheezes, Survivor runs away.
She is slower than Survivors, so she would, quite literally, never get a single hit again, since she would need to blink to catch up, then wheeze so they run away.
-
Considering how strong the Basement is (one way in and out)...I have to disagree.
If a Survivor is being brought to the Basement, it's because either they played badly, or the Killer played really well. No need to make it easier with an extra basement to avoid.

Often there are multiple generators left to complete. The survivor with the key won't even attempt them and has the choice to be stubborn waiting for the killer to close the hatch to escape. If the killer refuses to close hatch it puts the game in limbo.
But that means the hatch exists, and the key-user can just exit.
Which makes this that Survivor's fault: He's not taking the exit, and not progressing the gens.
So, how is a player refusing to play the game 'sloppy game design'? It's not like the developers can physically FORCE him to start doing his objective.
It's only that Survivor's fault for refusing his clear objectives.
-
@Forza said:

if there are generators left to complete the game will be in limbo. i thought that would be obvious.
I may be misunderstanding, so let me ask:
Is the hatch visible and open?
If Yes:
- Survivors can leave.
- Killer can close it.
If Not Visible:
- Survivors HAVE to do gens, or they can be reported for not playing their objective.
If Killer Closes It:
- Survivor with key can open it.
- Endgame collapse will kill Survivors after 4 minutes.
- Generators can no longer be worked on.
- Survivors must open exit gates.
If Survivors are refusing to do generators; They are breaking the rules. In every other scenario, they will either leave, or die.
So...Where's the limbo?
-
...What?
- If the Killer does not close the hatch: Survivors can escape. With or without a key.
- If the Survivors have a key; They can reopen the closed hatch. If they don't; they can try the exit gates.
- If they don't open the gates after the hatch is closed; End Game Collapse will kill them.
So...where's the limbo part?

And yes; I do play Killer more, but I have been tunneled & camped as a Survivor. I usually just read a book while waiting to die. Same as when I'm slugged.
So, what You are saing is to "do other things"? So you admit that slugging, camping and tunneling is unfun? So what about person who feels they are slugged/camped/tunneled too often? With you strategy, they should just play another game, or read more books like You. What if a little too much people will go with that advice? Who will we be playing with?
I never said it was 'unfun', so don't put words in my mouth to justify your rant.
But since being slugged or camped does not require 100% of my attention (I refuse to give killer shout outs if I'm playing with friends), I split my attention until I'm either dead, or saved.
NOWHERE did I say it's unfun. NOWHERE did I say 'play another game'. You just want to rant about how you don't like it and invent some slippery slope 'what if everyone stops playing!?' tripe to continue the whole 'tunneling/camping/slugging MUST BE CHANGED' narrative some Survivors have to blame-away their losses.
Tunneling, camping, and slugging have a time and place. Either accept it or keep getting angry when you lose. 🤷♂️

I was going to make some remarks on some of the flavor of your arguments, but honestly I think it'd be more productive to cut to the chase.
I think a lot of this boils down to people assuming hostility on the other side. I might have seen like one person say "there should be a rule against tunneling," like, ever. and i'm pretty sure they were joking. of the hundred or so people I've seen complain about tunneling, it's usually either "I find tunneling a scummy tactic" or "BHVR should do more to disincentive it." instead of asking for punishment, usually I see the other way around - people saying killers should be rewarded for not tunneling (bonuses for hooking different survivors consecutively) and it's generally from a perspective of wanting more interesting gameplay for everyone (though, obviously, focusing primarily on survivors).
I think a lot of vocal anti-tunneling advocates assume killer players target specific players to be malicious and so the way they discuss it is in response to that percieved maliciousness. likewise, killer players who do what might be considered tunneling assume that survivors want the killer to just act as a doormat, when really everyone just wants what they feel is a chance.
Sorry, I lumped tunneling/slugging/camping together in my discussion.
But there have been a few threads demanding punishments:
- This one we are in, demanding BP penalties.
- Killers should have a higher penalty — BHVR
- Tunneling and Camping — BHVR
And that's just from the last 3 or 4 days. Survivors treat Tunneling as if it's a mortal insult, and act like the Killer did it to be toxic every time. These Survivors refuse to admit there are times to tunnel, and refuse to see the Killer side.
And yes; I do play Killer more, but I have been tunneled & camped as a Survivor. I usually just read a book while waiting to die. Same as when I'm slugged.
(This is for everyone who gets angry, not at you, ratcoffee): The best way to deal with camping/tunneling/slugging is to stop blowing up, for two reasons:
- If the Killer really did it to ruin your game; You are giving them what they want.
- If the Killer did it because they felt it was the best move to make at the time; Then you're being a dink to someone for no reason.
Honestly, I'm just done with watching Survivors put me on blast because they decided what I should have done and then got angry because I did not play how they, my opponents, wanted me to play. \
They decided I was trying to make them angry because they got angry, which is psychotic. If any y'all see me in game, and assume I was trying to make you angry; I was not. I don't care enough about someone who's screenname I will see once & forget in 5 minutes, to expend the energy to make them angry.
And I bet it's the same for 99% of the Killers people scream 'Did it to make me mad!'. The other 1% are blatantly obvious; Standing over/in front of you and nodding or revving chainsaw, etc.

"ending it early" is intentionally targetting one player even when better opportunities to chase other players exist
as for the rest of your other questions, the answer is "just because there isn't a rule against playing in a particular way does not mean that you have to, or even should, do it." My argument is that nothing is forcing you to play in a particular way. As a survivor, I like being tunneled because often the kind of killer player that tunnels (or at least the type that tunnels me) isn't very good in chase so I get to feel good at the game; but I know many other people (generally people who don't play the game much and don't want to sweat) who don't like games like that.
I could just as easily ask questions like "Where does it say killers are owed [x] amount of fun before the survivors escape," or "where is the rule saying survivors need to wait until [x] hook stages," but I wouldnt, because if I did that, I would most likely be engaging in a bad faith response to your post.
To make sure we're understanding each other, my argument is this: Tunneling is not an absolute necessity and it is incorrect to treat it as such. It can be conditionally useful if you want to play with a certain style or achieve a certain goal, but just as there's no rule saying the killer needs to let survivors get a certain a certain amount of progress done, there's no rule saying that they have to not do that. A lot of the arguments in favor of tunneling seem to be "it's technically allowed" and in my opinion that's a weak argument in favor of anything.
"ending it early" is intentionally targetting one player even when better opportunities to chase other players existAnd...who decides what the best opportunity to chase players? I'd hold that the Killer, who is playing...THE KILLER...decides what his/her best move is at any given moment. Yet Survivors continually insult me for not doing what THEY want me to do.
I could just as easily ask questions like "Where does it say killers are owed [x] amount of fun before the survivors escape,"I also asked that in my post. It was 'Where's the timer telling Survivors to slow down on gens, because they are doing them too fast?' My point was that neither side owes it to the other to play badly for some vague idea of 'time owed' or 'fun owed'.
Tunneling is not an absolute necessity and it is incorrect to treat it as suchI agree. Sure.
A lot of the arguments in favor of tunneling seem to be "it's technically allowed" and in my opinion that's a weak argument in favor of anything.Yes and no. You are correct, but it's more nuanced than that. Allot of 'anti tunneling' seem to be based off this idea that Tunneling should not be allowed. SOothe ideas are 'Steal BP' and 'Punish Killers' and 'Ban anyone I hate'. Ideas that start with the erroneous idea that Tunneling (and camping, and slugging) are clearly not allowed, just because Survivors say so.
My point was that no one is owed [x] amount of game time, or fun, or anything else. So there is no 'ending the game early', because there is no early.
If the Survivors somehow manage to do all 5 gens & open the exit gates in 2 minutes (again; without cheating or using exploits); Then they did not 'end the match too early'. Yes; such times should be looked at, if it ever happens. But no one can say 'they owed the Killer more time to kill'.
Just like, if the Killer feels 2-3 gens popping means he needs to tunnel someone out; He does not owe it to them to spread out hooks just because they don't want to be 'killed too early'.
I hate that 'too early' mindset, because it's exactly the mindset that sees people screaming for 'punishments' instead of FIXES. People with wounded egos felt they were owed some amount of arbitrary game time or fun, and thus feel they should be compensated, or their opponent should be punished, for breaking this 'fun rule'.
It's also why Survivors treat Killers like [bleep] in the end game chat; It's an excuse of 'They were mean/toxic first by (tunneling/camping/slugging), so I'm justified in being mean back'.
Which is why I hate the mindset. No offense. There is no 'too early', or the devs would have programmed a timer.

oh I see, you're using a different definition of "competetive" than i expected
you meant "you are playing against someone else and not just exclusively cooperatively," not "it is an esport" which is what I assumed
yeah the fact that you're going against other people is, imo, not reason enough to be disrespectful to someone else's experience by intentionally ending it early (for either side)
Questions:
- What is 'ending it early'?
- Where does it say Survivors are owed [x] about of fun before they can be killed?
- Where is the rule stating Killers have to wait until [x] gens pop?
- Where's the timer showing killers how long before they can get their first kill?
- Where's the timer telling Survivors to slow down on gens, because they are doing them too fast?
In short; there is no 'ending it early'. There's not being 'disrespectful' for trying to win (within the rules of the game. IE: No cheating or abusing exploits). And people need to realize that.
-
Insulting people for disagreeing is not a great way to have a discussion.
And WGLF is fine. It's different from OTR because Survivors have not lost a hook state yet, which means they are no closer to death. Not everything needs a massive buff with the excuse of 'because camping'. Because camping is, you know, allowed.
-
What is with this flood of new accounts asking for the worst changes? This is the second or third this week just showing up and pretending 'Survivors don't have strong perks.'

I tunnel if 2-3 gens pop in the first chase.
I need to reduce gens speeds ASAP and that means benching someone. And it's quicker to bench the already injured, already hooked once Survivor, instead of starting from 0 with a new Survivor.
Survivors are not obligated to switch gens to give me more playtime, so why should I be obligated to switch targets to give THEM more playtime? It's entitled hypocrisy.

I never said it's a flaw. I and I'm sure many other players don't mind dying. It's part of the game. Everyone knows that.
Nobody said it needs to be moderated. What needs to be moderated or at least NOT REWARDED is killers playing like a dbag.
And what qualified 'playing like a dbag'?
- Tunneling?
No, no. That's just focusing on the weakest link; the person found most easily, and already injured and hooked.
- Slugging?
Nope! That limits players on gens (Someone has to get that fellow up). Thus slowing down the game and buying the Killer more time.
- Camping?
Nah. Killer has a right to secure a kill when 3 gens can pop in the first chase. Add in the fact that 2 Survivors usually camp the camping Killer instead of doing gens, and the Killer gets free slowdown, too! (Which is somehow the Killer's fault that Survivors demand free unhooks because 'fun quota')
Yet Survivors call all 3 'playing like a dbag'. And one of their arguments is usually 'But KILLERS end the game for SOMEONE!' As if that makes ending the game (The Killer's goal) somehow bad. Because someone got sad they got killed 'too fast'.
The flip side of that argument is that the people who say it are acting like they are owed some vague 'fun quota' before they should be killed. And if the Killer kills them too fast, then the Killer should be punished for not letting them fill this 'fun quota'.
Which is, actually, what OP is saying; 'Boo-hoo. I got camped. That slowed the game (because duh; that's THE POINT of removing someone) unfairly! Punish Killers with BP penalties for making me sad!'
@shiroo said:
Ps.
And by BP penalty I mean a severe BP penalty, not like a slap on the wrist like it is with camping.
PS:
Won't happen. Ever. You don't get to decide what is okay for YOUR OPPONENT to do and then demand punishments just because your fake rules were broken.

Why do Survivors think 'Killers can KILL US!' is a surprising thing that needs to be MODERATED, when it's the only way for Killers to win...Oh, because it's the only way for Killers to win.
News flash: The Killers are trying to kill you. They don't need to PM you and ask if you filled a 'fun quota' before they knock you out of the map, and they CERTAINLY don't need to play sub-optimally while Survivors take 50 second chance perks and genrush perks, queue up in SWF, & use voice chat.
I find it hilariously hypocritical that Survivors whine 'What about OUR FUN!?' while trying the level best to win ASAP with ever advantage they can bring. As if Killers are expected to ensure Survivors have a fun game instead of trying to win, like some sort of funhouse employee.

Out of my last 10 games...at least in half of them (I wish I was exaggerating) killers just start to hard tunnel at 4-5 gens...

Either first person gets tunneled out or just DCs leaving 3 ppl in massive disadvantage.
You want to keep allowing this kind of gameplay? Fine, but AT LEAST introduce some kind of BP penalty for this in early game. Because it's just insane to me that killers get rewarded for this BS.
After 2 years of playing this game I accepted a lot of things, both on surv and killer side. But this is just crossing the line. The games are getting less and less enjoyable because of this.
You want to keep allowing this kind of gameplay? Fine, but AT LEAST introduce some kind of BP penalty for this in early game. Because it's just insane to me that killers get rewarded for this BS.I was unaware the Killer trying to win as hard as the Survivors focus gens is 'BS'. Oh, right, because Survivors get angry when Killers win in any Non-Approved(tm) way.
There will not be a 'BP punishment' because it's not 'BS' for Killers to focus a Survivor out. It's called 'Playing smart' to remove someone ASAP. Because that slows down how many people can heal, boon, do gens, unhook, and open gates.
It's called 'Playing smart' to remove the weakest link instead of spreading hits and hooks just because Survivors are angry.
-
It's hilarious. Survivors:
- Bring 4 second chance perks
- BNPs
- Genrush to hell
- Bodyblock
- And run in SWFs with voice comms
But Killers are STILL supposed to:
- Avoid tunneling, even if bodyblocked
- Avoid slugging, even if someone is waiting nearby to save
- Avoid camping, even if someone is waiting nearby to save
- Don't use perks that 'reward failure' (NoED)
- Make sure you 12 hook!
- Don't use META 'Because it might change, and you're going to have a hard time then!'
- Play off META because 'Playing against the same 4 perks is BORING for Survivors!'
- 'Think of OUR fun!'
- And basically, play sub-optimally because Survivors demand it in the name of 'Our fun!'
There's a reason I just play however I want, and it's because Survivors will assume I'm the villain no matter what, so why should I ever try to make them happy?
I've had matches where 1 or 2 people DC, so I let Survivors farm, only for them to suddenly sweat once all 5 gens pop, and then INSULT ME in the endgame chat. As if they would have gotten those gens done without me GIVING it to them!
So yeah; Stop caring what Survivors think. Camp, slug, and tunnel. Because Survivors will try their hardest to win, and so can Killers.

Tell me you camp without telling me you camp.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3314852#Comment_3314852
Telling me your “survivor version” or equivalent to camping does not take away the fact that it takes 0 skill to idle at a hook. Which is what it is.
I never brought up generators nor attempted to make a comparison. I am merely saying that saying you out-gamed a survivor because you had so much skill as to let go of your mouse button in order to stand still is not a skill. That’s just a fact.
I love how whiny survivors call removing the easy target early (An intelligent play) 'brainless' because they get violently screechy when Killers don't 12 hook in the genrush + 500000 second chance perk META.
Every Survivor who whines about tunneling is saying the same thing: Genrushing (Survivors winning ASAP) is OK, because Survivors win. Tunneling (Killers winning ASAP) is evil, because Survivors lose.
That's all it is: Survivors expect Killers to play sub-optimally because 'WhAt AbOuT oUr FuN!?' but the second the Killer points out 'We can't 12 hook in games under 5 minutes', the reply is 'Get gud'. 😂
Because Killer fun does not matter. Only Survivor fun is expected. 🙃

Why? Not every perk needs to be useful in every situation.

Not always as a lot of time the killer is already going to another area hoping the hatch spawns so they can close it or looking for pallets to break.
Except they will stop doing this and will wait for Stage 2 before leaving, if the last Survivor has a chance of jumping free.
As people have said, it was changed for two reasons:
- There's no point in getting off the hook. The Killer will just wait & smack you.
- Survivors were being spiteful and waiting out the full time of both phases simply to BM the Killer and make him wait as long as possible to leave the match.
Sorry but, if you're the last one dead; you're dead. Deliverance means nothing when the Killer literally has no other place to be except right at the hook, waiting for you to jump off.
-
- No. This exists to prevent healthy Survivors form just going in because they are immune to being yanked off.
- I wish, but no. While Boon: Circle Of Healstoomuch needs adjusting; this is not the way to do it.

Meh. I stopped doing this after multiple times of Survivors being allowed to farm gens, then using flashlights/DS/Head On to prevent me from getting hooks and insulting me the end game chat, as if they got out by skill.
Now, I just kill and move on. If anyone whines, I tell them it's their fellow Survivor's faults.

That’s kinda why we made the “Localized Heartbeat”, to punish them for being together. Imagine, you cant do ######### because he always knows where you are
Yeah but that does not fix the problem with Sabotage being useless because SWFs just split up & know who the fake Survivor is.
And I'm sorry but that Flamethrower would be OP. Just press a button and stun the Killer? The Deep Wounds effects means nothing in the CoH and Styptic meta.
Coupled with Alcoholism: Killer downs someone near an open gate:
- If he picks the person up, his teammate gets an insta-save with a flamethrower. Run out the gates before Deep Wounds can work.
- If he leaves them to go after the teammate; Person just gets up and runs out before he can fall over again.
That's not even getting into how these perks would fit into the current '50 second chances' meta.
Again: The idea is really neat. I love the idea of The Thing as a killer. Or a Killer that can turn into a Survivor. It's just not feasible when Survivors can be on voice comms.
-
So, basically, you want a perk that sidesteps the timer for picking someone up. Even ignoring how people could troll with it, no thanks.
-
Neat idea but SWF ruins it.
All it takes is a full 4-man (Or even a 3 man) SWF on comms to say where they are, and now everyone knows which is the fake Survivor, and they will never do actions with said fake Survivor. It would render Sabotage completely useless.
So would just splitting up once you know it's The Thing; never do gens or heal together and boom; no more Sabotage.
-
How does Insidious 'hold the game hostage'?
Seriously; the person the hook can die, and the people NOT on the hook can do gens. So where's the Killer preventing the game from ending?
-
So the Killer should get a BP penalty for focusing on his objective (Killing) while Survivors get rewarded for focusing on theirs (Generators)?
Nah. Survivors need to stop acting like Killers should not be allowed to focus on winning as hard as Survivors do every match, just because 'My fun!'

I swear you lurk the forums just to say no to everything. No. That is not true...Maybe a strong team with coms, but any solo/weak link and it's over. You aren't even addressing the core issue, you just come on here to go "nah bruh". You contribute nothing to the conversation, and exist only to troll.
I addressed the issue; He has to spend the entire match without his power. He only becomes dangerous around the time the Exit Gates are being powered, unless the Survivors are really bad.
Me disagreeing with you does not make me a troll. Nor does I not contribute just because you hate my message. Nor do I need to 'do better' just because my opinion is different from yours.
Dial back the rage.
-
It has its own balance; Good Survivors will have 4 or 5 gens done before you get enough Evil to use it.
It's fine.

idk i am not a developer or know anything about IT but if they can add nemesis and 2 zombies isnt it possible for them to add 2 lickers?
No, it's not possible. They stated that the game ran too slowly with more zombies.
Plus, you have to work in new models, new animations, and new AI scripts to make Lickers work.
-
Why did you make two of the exact same thread?

Was the monster really that weak? We wanted to try VHS but no one else wanted to so we never really saw it.
The monster was incredibly weak.
The Teens could easily gang up on it once they created weapons and, since EVERY weapon caused the Monster to lose 90% movement speed; it was virtually impossible for a Monster to run away once a Teen attacked it.
Once Teens had weapons, they would find the most open areas of every map and wait there, so Monsters HAD to come at them through long sightlines with little cover. That's right; THE MONESTER was forced to be scared of the Teens. And had 0 power to attack any of them at range.
While teens had firebombs, swords that shot beams, slingshots, and ranged weapons.
Playing Monster sucked in VHS. Once the Teens had weapons, the Monster was very much the victim. And the devs refused to hear it.

Nurse is fine. She does not need 50 cooldowns and recharges. She most definitely does not need recovery time before she can recover.

While it is true that the devs swing the nerf hammer too hard at times, it is very easy to see if one perk is extremely overtuned. Currently it is Eruption. You can deny it all you want, but it is absolutely carrying killers to easy wins they don’t deserve. I've been telling players for months not to rely on it because it is obviously a busted perk. If you are disappointed at that, it's also on you.
Same with Nurse. This has been coming for her for a long, long time. Players who knew that, and didn’t rely on using a killer who gives too much power to the user, aren't terribly disappointed.
Basically: stop being carried by only the most OP stuff, just let yourself fall back to the mmr you should be at. You'll be much happier.
I love this player base.
Survivors on Strong Perks for Killers:
- They are getting wins they 'don't deserve' and using 'crutch perks'.
- They are 'carried' by the perk, as if it somehow plays the game for them.
- Some perks 'reward losing' (This is Survivors claiming Killers lost at 5 gens popping, as if the exit gates are a suggestion and not a goal. Yes, some Survivors are literally demanding NoEd be nerfed based on their concept of a win, and not the game's actual win-state).
- Perks showing up every match is a sign they are OP and 'the META should be changed' because Survivors are 'bored seeing the same perks all the time'. Yes; Survivors think their opponents' choices should be changed based on how much fun THEY are having.
Survivors on Strong Perks for Survivors:
- Perfectly fine. Killers need to stop whining and 'git gud'.
- And 'learn to play'.
- Perks showing up every match is a sign they are fun perks.
- Did we mention 'git gud'?
Oh yeah, and Killers should never, EVER tunnel, camp, or slug. All those things somehow give Killers 50 billion kills per match and ruin the fun for Survivors. So, none of it is allowed and all of it should be punished by the game uninstalling itself and setting their SSD on fire.
Or at least giving Survivors mechanics they can abuse at-will to screw the Killers out of kills and get free unhooks all day long. Because only Survivor fun matters.

The devs could not program more than 2 zombies without the game slowing down (Or so they say); do you think they could REALLY program Lickers with AI?
