I see. Now that Nurse has been nerfed a second time, Survivors are going for Blight, Spirit, and *Checks Notes* DOCTOR!?
What's next? 'Trapper Traps block loops. Please have them disarm after 10 seconds.'?

Bloodlust 1 still exists, only bloodlust 2 and 3 have been removed, if you still cant catch the survivor than its a map design problem or he is just outplaying you, in this case you should leave the chase.
Or, and here's a wild idea, you could NOT massivly nerf Killers via removing BL 2 & 3 for absolutely 0 valid reasons? Because 'It makes bad habits' is...incredibly subjective and vague.
It's as hollow as Survivors demanding Killer kneecappings because '[Insert mechanic/perk/Killer here] is unfun'.

Then the game becomes a staring match or depends on ping. And the best a survivor gets is a trade. A killer shouldn't get more than that for camping in my opinion
So Survivors should get permanent safe unhooks because your opinion of camping is low?
Let's take that logic further:
Some Survivors hate slugging for any reason. Better give everyone basekit Unbreakable!
Survivors hate tunneling, too: Better take that idea one poster had and make Survivors literally immune to being attacked until they do any conspicuous actions!
What's that? Killers aren't playing anymore, because they literally can't 12-hook against SWFs bringing full META perks? Well, they just need to git gud, clearly!

You understood wrong :
- I'm talking about any side crushing any other side to get fun. Everyone should get more or less (but yeah, in PvP, equalisation is hard)
- You're bad when you have options and choose the more harsh way (the one that crushes the opposite team for your good). In that case, I think you're selfish, though that's a way like any other.
And, sorry for answering, I really wanted to talk.
Once again, you're claiming I'm selfish for trying to win instead of thinking about my opponent's fun.
Which is just another way to say 'Killers should stop trying to win if it makes Survivors unhappy'.
This is still the only game I've ever seen where one side tells the other 'Stop trying to win, we don't like it.'
And to make the message more hypocritical; Survivors will go in SWFs, bring 4 META perks each, bring purple medkits and bring BNPs, while still saying 'Killers should think of OUR FUN! Stop trying so hard! You're being SELFISH!'

Then why is it good design? What is a solo survivor supposed to do?
Every other situation a Killer can grab a survivor its the survivors fault, that survivor should have done better.
What can a solo survivor do better? (Stare, is staring a good design. Hope the lag doesn't ######### up a 50/50 and then get down anyway?)
Bait out the grab, get hit, and then unhook while the KIller is in his wipe animation.
Or, you know, demand the developers remove hook grabs so Survivors never have to take any risks. 🙄

No, it would force a trade instead of a 50/50 between a trade and 2 hooks. Also, is really the staring gameplay and potential connection issues worth it. They can buff killers after if the killrates get to low, but bad design should go away
Hook grabs are not 'bad design' just because Survivors want every unhook to be unstoppable.

I only play solo ques. My cats are the only ones I talk to while playing. Killers get to see items at beginning of game and prepare, why not let the majority of players who are not talking to anyone (few games are 4 swf teams) know the killer's perks.
You are ignoring that people have already said people don't have to be in SWFs to message the other players.
You're basically ignoring the exact reason why, then saying 'There's no reason why!'. But ignoring facts does not make them go away.
I'll reiterate:
Because someone could die, then private message the other 3 Survivors, and say 'He has NoED' or 'He has Blood Warden' or 'He has No Way Out'.
So the answer is "Because people would cheat." and they do not have to be an SWF to do it.
-
So your Killer changes involve nerfing Bloodlust, thereby making chases take longer, while your Survivor changes involve allowing Survivors to slow down hook progress by standing nearby?
Nah.
-
You do realize Bloodlust exists explicitly to ensure chases end, and removing it would turn some loops into infinites and increase chase times by a massive amount?

I wasn't moving the goal posts I'm trying to demonstrate that it's not healthy to leave a player with no impact on the game with nothing to do for 4 minutes and that no other game does this. Even evil dead, which isn't doing the hottest.
Counter Strike is another game where you have 'nothing to do' when killed.
Apex Legends if you're in a party, since you have to wait for your friends to finish if you died before them.

And now, I don't feel like I should say that, but... Are you playing games only to win at all costs ? If so, you're bad. What's the point of a game then... ?
I'm bad because I play a PvP game to compete against my opponents and want to win just as much as they do?

I'm sorry... how many times have killers complained about old keys, dead hard, any of the litany of perks that were thrown in as bandaids for trash killer behaviors. So... maybe stop being a hypocrite?
I have NEVER run a "4-man SWFs plus META perks plus map offerings plus items with purple addons, and twerk out the exit gate" in 2300 hours of time in the game. I don't use items at all unless there's a challenge for it. I don't run 'meta' builds. I don't use offerings really anymore. I don't get the option of non-sweaty killers.
And I don't get the option of non-sweaty Survivors.
You're acting like this all only goes one way.
-
Really? Hook grabs?
Sure, just let Survivors get a safe unhook because they're Healthy. No danger at all because the Killer literally cannot stop them. 🤣
If hook grabs turned into a 4K, then the Survivors ROYALLY screwed up and went for the most unsafe unhooks to ever exist. Why should they be given them for free?

Out of curiosity: how can they not diffentiate between two those things if crashes literally give you crash report with option to send it to developers?.. Isn't it a good way to differentiate them?
I know it's impossible to differentiate legit and forced DCs but differentiate between crash and not a crash?..
Because the crash report is on your PC, and set to the developers.
It's not sent to the game server you just left. By the time 'crash report' shows up on your PC (itself being a failsafe called when the game shuts down in ANY improper way); the server only saw that you disappeared.
And at that point, with the game now shut down, how would the crash report even know what server to send a 'This was a crash' signal too?
And again; If this were even a thing, Players would find a way to force crashes in order to dodge DC penalties.
-
That's not possible.
- The game does not know WHY you DC'd, only that you DC'd. There is, quite literally, 0 ways for the game to know you crashed or if you pulled the plug on your router, or if your power went out.
- If you're on a whole day ban; you must have 'crashed' allot. May want to get that fixed instead of ruining matches for other players. Repeatedly.
- As you said, Players would find a way to abuse it. So even if they could determine crashes from DCs; why would they do it just to give salty players an exploit?

I'm here to offer solutions to your problems, friend.
Kemp, all you want, but do you like it?
Tunnel all you want, but do you feel superior if you take one out of the game first and only then start playing? (IF you start.)
Yes, these are strategies, I know. But these strategies are unpleasant for either side. My entire wall of text can be summed up in one sentence: "The game would be better if the killers were stronger."
Don't you think so?
I don't disagree but my point was that this mindset of 'Accepted tactics are dishonest/evil/toxic' needs to stop, no matter what the underlying message is.
Because this mindset is an excuse toxic Survivors use to be toxic in turn. A mindset of 'He camped, which is toxic, so I'm just giving him his own medicine'.
There's also the fact that many people are screaming for punishments, rather than fixes, because they are coming from the mindset 'This is toxic, and toxic should be punished' instead of 'Here's a way to fix it'.
In short; people need to first accept that camping, tunneling, and slugging ARE NOT TOXIC (Or 'dishonest' or any other label) before people can be in the right mindset to adjust them.
And also need to adjust their attitudes in game. So tired of being put on blast in end game chat for 'being toxic first' because I [insert Survivor excuse here].

Let's make the unhooked survivor teleport then. No protection hit possible, nor tunneling and without any punishment for the killer.
Or, we can make actions for survivors slower, so killers don't feel the need to tunnel anymore, for whatever the reason they want. But, if you really tunnel and kill someone, I think punishment should not be the worst option...
So let's try this : no more "safe unhook" bloodpoints, perhaps slowered actions for survivors, and when someone's unhooked, they get 30s-45s acting as a ghost ; can't interact with anything, half-invisible (maybe totally invisible to other survivors), and can't take any hits. If you still manage as a killer to tunnel until you kill someone without hooking any other guy, you get a big punishment.
when someone's unhooked, they get 30s-45s acting as a ghost ; can't interact with anything, half-invisible (maybe totally invisible to other survivors), and can't take any hits.Oh yes. Because Survivors think they control the entire game; Let's just give them functional immunity. 🤦♂️ Now SWFs can have their unhooked friend sprint around the map, giving away where traps are and what the Killer is doing, and the Killer literally has 0 input!
I can't see that being abused to get free escapes in the end game. /s
Let's make the unhooked survivor teleport then.Again; no. Why should Survivors get superpowers and immunity and literally un-counterable, abuseable mechanics just because they don't like losing?
There would be no such thing as an 'unsafe unhook'. Just unhook your friend, watch them teleport away, take a hit, then Dead Hard away!
Survivors need to man up and stop whining that the Killer is trying to win as hard as they are.
I will say it again; Until Survivors are punished/forced off gens for 'genrushing', there should be no mechanics preventing 'killrushing'. They are two sides of the same coin; Each side attempting to win. And 'But my fun!' is NOT, ever, will never be, a valid excuse to kneecap one side.
Functional immunity and teleporting. You can't make this stuff up. 🤦♂️
-
Just going to let you know, OP; Camping, tunneling, and slugging are not 'dishonest' any more than hitting great skillchecks on gens is 'dishonest'.
I'm tired of this BS stigma of 'Killers are bad and wrong for making Survivor overlords sad'.

Yeah. Bugs and exploits are always a big thing in games working on three dimensions.
-
I like it, but Killers (me included, probably 😋 ) would just find the most out of the way, hard to reach, and broken spots to spawn totems.
Not to mention people trying to find exploits to place totems literally out of reach.
-
- If 2-3 gens pop in my first chase: I tunnel. I need to make up for lost time, and the best way is to keep someone from doing gens. And the literal only way I can both patrol AND keep someone off gens? Killing them.
- If Survivors leave gens when I hook: I camp. It's not my job to let them have a free unhook. Plus, they are giving me free time extensions by creeping around the hook instead of doing gens.
- If the unhooked uses basekit BT to bodyblock: I am going to knock them down and rehook them. It's not tunneling if you throw yourself at me. Ever.

I get that, but it’s too much. In most games I shut music off completely because it’s always too loud and obnoxious.
Sorry but if there was an option, 99.99% of Killers would use it to lower the music as much as allowed.
I remember playing a year or two (maybe 3?) back, when there was a bug that would prevent chase music from starting for Killers. Survivors could not hide (I could clearly hear breathing) could not juke (I could clearly hear if they were on my right or left), and I knew if a gen was being worked on, because the sounds were so loud without music.
It felt so much like cheating, even though it was not anything I did, that I had to stop playing Killer until it was fixed.

You mean the same mindset the killer walked into the game with by knowingly using a perk and strategy that makes the game miserable for 4 others?
Your ant doesn't want to be burned by the magnifying glass anymore. So he's the jerk in the scenario... Killer mind at work.
Survivor mind at work: 'If you use perks/Killers I don't like, you're ruining the game for me ON PURPOSE!'
DBD is still the only game where I see one side telling the other what weapons they can and cannot use (In this case, Killers), what powers (In this case, perks) they can or cannot use, and what tactics they can and cannot use (Because Slugging, tunneling, and camping should all be punished, according some Survivors). And actually shame and insult the other side for breaking these unwritten, unenforceable rules while yelling at the developers to change to game to enforce them.
It's really funny how Survivors scream 'Think about OUR FUN!!!!!!11111" while running 4-man SWFs plus META perks plus map offerings plus items with purple addons, and twerk out the exit gate.
And when Killers comment, the only replies are 'git gud' and 'get thicker skin'.
-
What's funny is that slugging is so evil, yet:
- It's always the Killer's fault. No one ever says it's the 3rd Survivor's fault for hiding for the hatch. That Survivor is rightfully hiding and the Killer needs to stop sweating! 😂
- Survivors have perks to pick themselves back up. Yet they don't want to deviate from the genrush META, so it's still the Killer's fault for slugging, even though they literally have tools to combat it. They just want Killer tactics removed so they can continue to META hard while on SWF without needing to change up perks or playstyle.

Picking up Pinhead's box takes up your item slot, same as the Vaccines and First Aid Sprays for Nemesis and Wesker respectively. So, to a degree, survivors facing those killers will get to a point where they have to lose charges on their items, because interacting with those killer powers requires swapping out their items for a new one.
This is less of a problem for the RE killers since you can just use those straight away and it'll take less than ten seconds, but it's still a concern for all three. Not to say it's unworkable, just a balance concern to be aware of.
Oh dang, I did not think of that at all.
Hmm..I would if coding it to ignore item swaps with killer-power/items would be feasible... Probably not, given those items probably count as normal items.
Easiest fix would be that it does not trigger on item swaps. Still counters the 'Just drop it' counter, even if it cuts down on useability when swapping items.
-
It's a PvP game.
If Survivors can focus on doing gens; The Killer can focus on removing Survivors. You can't let one side play sweaty while telling the other 'No, you have to play badly because of their feelings'.
Every 'penalty' suggestion has been horribly abuseable. Every 'penalty' TRIED has been horribly abused.
So...may want to get used to it.
-
@jesterkind said:
The first one here I like- it's good to embolden the more interactive and 'fun' playstyles, and giving survivors actual benefit for running flashlights makes them less of a signal to teammates that someone's not going to be pulling their weight because they desperately want a cool montage flashy save, lol. I like the cooldown, too, that helps keep it fair.
The second I would like, but I see a problem with it- namely, the RE killers and Pinhead having ways of essentially forcing survivors to drop their items. Maybe that wouldn't end up being a problem in testing, considering you can theoretically just use those straight away and pick up the item again before the effect kicks in, but it is something that I think might cause problems because using those killer items straight away isn't necessarily always possible or the correct play. Worth testing, but could be a concern.
The third, I get what you're saying, but I fear that kind of perk - especially if it's strong enough to see consistent use - is really more going to incentivise hyper-fast healing speeds more than anything else. Maybe if it comes alongside reigning in how bonkers fast heal speeds can get, though at that point it may need a deactivation requirement too.
Interesting ideas, though!
How do you mean, Pinhead can force people to drop items? (I don't have him).
I could have worded it better, but the perk only works if Survivors willingly drop their item, be it just dropping, or from switching to a new item.
Any Killer per or power that knocks the item out of them will not trigger Entity's Hunger. Nor would dropping the item via being Sacrificed. Only Survivors willingly putting down their item will have it consumed. It exists as a perk to counter the 'Just put down your item in a corner!' counters.
-
Honestly, just make it so Survivors don't get the speed boost off his yellow tonic.
The facts that they do is a horrible idea made because BHVR thinks any Killer change or buff needs to have some sort of Survivor buff as well. Plus the horrid idea that every Killer power needs some sort of easy-to-use built-in counter.
Sadly, that mindset does not work in reverse.

SWF is an option and not the default play mode. Most players are solo ques so why punish the majority of players to benefit the few?
- It's because of SWF. Plain and simple. If players could see what the Killer brought; they would better know how to counter it. Your logic as to why 'it can't be SWF' is completely flawed.
- What do you mean 'punish'? How is a solo-Q, who is dead, being punished by not knowing what the Killer brought?
-
One thing they should do; If 2-3 hooks go by without a Scourge Hook being used, then the Scourge Hooks closest to the edge of the map deactivate, and the ones farthest from any map edges activate as Scourge Hooks.
Just to shake it up.
Or, every time a Scourge Hook it used; it deactivates, and a normal Hook becomes a Scourge Hook.
And every time a normal hook is used, a Scourge Hook somewhere on the map cycles to a new Hook.

There are some matches just not worth playing. In the 20 minutes it takes to fight that strategy, you can have fun matches against killers who intend to kill and not just kick gens.
So? Throwing the game is for people too immature to take the L like an adult.
Sorry to say it that way, but it is. It's this mindset of 'I'm not having fun, so allow me to just give up because only I matter.'
It's the same BS mindset behind 'If I see [insert Killer/perk/map here] I don't like; I throw'. It's just a weak excuse to ruin the match because 'I've already lost' or 'I'm not having fun' instead of trying.
-
Wait, was his advice literally 'throw the game'? Or did I misunderstand what 'go next' means?
-
- Would almost never see use, since Killers avoid stuns. And it would only be 1 extra second.
- Imagine being able to avoid falling stagger once a minute. OP.
- Kind of neat but, again, somewhat OP with the frequency of use.
- OP. It would turn some loops into infinites.
- Insanely OP
- Eh. Neat, but it would basically destroy stealth Killers.

I generally don't pay attention to who's been hooked how many times on purpose. I just go after whoever I run into and would be quicker to down as well as create the most pressure. Sometimes that just happens to be the same person and the amount of times you still get called a tunneler is ridiculous. The term "tunneler" is extremely stretched in definition.
Making a bad call and deciding to risk healing under hook? Still a tunneler.
Rescuing a person off hook when I'm still nearby and hiding so that the only person I see is the unhooked one? Still a tunneler.
Instead of healing they work on pushing gens faster while injured? Still a tunneler.
Ever downing the same person twice in a row regardless of any circumstance whatsoever? Yup! Tunneler!
You forgot:
- Unhooked bodyblocks with basekit BT. Yep; hitting them makes me a tunneler.
- Randomly run into the same person twice in a row? That's a tunnelin'.
- Two or more people play the same character with the same cosmetic? Killer tunneled!
- Unhooked bodyblocks instead of healing when I pick up another downed Survivor? Hitting them means I tunneled.
- Unhooked decided to unhook someone else? Grabbing or hitting them means I tunneled.
- Unhooked walked 3 feet to work on a gen? Hitting them means I tunneled!

TIL patrolling a 3 Gen is the Killer's fault and the Killer could be banned for it, according to Survivor mains.
What is the Killer supposed to do? Run to the strong pallets/the area without hooks/away from the gens? Just hand over the gens to Survivors?
Why is it not Survivors faults if they refuse to try doing gens? Oh, right, because nothing is Survivor's faults if they can use mental or verbal gymnastics to blame Killers.
So remember, Killers; if a 3 gen happens; You need to close your eyes and let Survivors go, because it's your fault and YOU can be reported! 😂
@Peanits Since Pulsar is quoting you so much to make their point; can you weigh in? Does the Killer have to stop patrolling a 3 gen? Can a Killer be reported and banned if they don't let Survivors do a gen?

We had a second chance perk meta before 6.1. What we have today is nothing of the sort. Instead of anti-tunnel and anti-camp measures clogging up survivor load-outs, we now have Prove Thyself cropping up as one of the most common perks.
But hey, that's what killers wanted, right? After all, any survivor that complains about tunnelling or camping will immediately get shouted down and told to 'git gud' since poor widdle killers have screwed up their own MMR by resorting to crutch tactics, and then subsequently complain about how unfair the game is when they've become dependent on those crutches.
You want camping and tunnelling to stay in the game? Then don't whinge about how YOU, personally, can't 12-hook. Because that is what you wanted to balance for.
People often say that if tunnelling and camping go, killers need compensatory buffs. The flipside of this is that if tunnelling and camping stay, survivors need compensatory buffs.
Survivors GOT 'buffs for camping/tunneling'; Basekit BT. But that's not enough, no. They will whine and scream until the developers make them literally immune to damage. Give an inch, and they take a mile.
Of course, with basekit BT came weaponizing it to bodyblock Killers from chasing unhookers; You know, the literal thing Survivors whine Killers never do. And, of course, Survivors then whine that they were 'tunneled' and demand tunneling punishments, nerfs, and more Survivor buffs to compensate for playing badly, I mean being 'tunneled'.
No, Survivors don't need MORE buffs 'if tunneling stays'. This is literally Survivors bodyblocking and trying for unsafe unhooks, then complaining when they get smacked down, as if their bad plays are a flaw in the game.
Accept that your opponent can play to win as hard as you can as a Survivor. Stop demanding Killers get kneecapped for 'my vague and entirely subjective fun!' 🙄

Uh...
Okay, not quite sure what I read here.
- Some killers are too good at camping and/or tunneling folks off hook.
- Bubba, Billy & co. need a rework, because these are killers that aren't much fun to play against a good team unless you camp and tunnel.
- Clowns <redacted> trick to bypass Enduring needs a rework.
- However, if you want high MMR/tourney gameplay, you aren't going to win against a strong team on a strong map unless you tunnel someone out.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3316910#Comment_3316910
If you watch this game played at the highest level - and that's with some pretty severe handicaps on survivors (limited items, perks, killer sided map), replace 'best' with 'only'.
And in this case it's winning against other killers on points - by getting 1-2 kills.
Yes, not every team you face is a crazy SWF - but the possibility that the next one might be, and by the time you know you've already lost...yeah, best to play hard.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3314933#Comment_3314933
Part of this comes down to how stupidly survivor BP/emblem gain works.
The 'distraction' BP/points you gain are pathetic. If you're chased from the start with LP, and then tunneled, you're getting 8k BP max and depipping, even if the others finished 5 gens while this went on.
If you get camped, it's worse - because you get literally nothing for staying on the hook, and you may as well just suicide if it's a solo game.
That needs to be fixed.
Give Survivors bonus BP for being camped. Make something like 'Your wriggling distracts the Killer form his true goals'. The longer camped, the more BP gained.
-

Now that survivors have an Endurance effect when unhooked, you get these 500 bloodpoints almost for free.
So I think (after seeing an Otz video about tunneling) that instead of giving to unooked survivors a bonus (which they can use for other purposes than tunnel), how about the killer gets a negative effect ? Such as a bit lower speed when chasing someone that has been unhooked, or a blind effect when hookingg the same survivor again, or any ideas. Just a bad effect when the killer wants you at all costs.
No. People need to stop asking for punishments. Punishments are spiteful and NOT FIXES.
Such as a bit lower speed when chasing someone that has been unhookedOh good. So now the unhooked can bodyblock with BT AND slow me down! No! Gods no!
or a blind effect when hooking the same survivor againAgain; No! Because, AGAIN, Survivors will bodyblock with BT and be secure in the knowledge that I literally CANNOT HOOK THEM without being punished. Easy to abuse. No!
Survivors need to understand that tunneling is just the Killer version of playing efficiently.
Until Survivors are punished for focusing gens; Killers cannot, should not, and WILL NOT BE punished for tunneling. Ever.

I'd rather have Nurse be unique instead of every killer being an M1 yawnfest because Survivors hate anti-loop.

Honestly just delete Hag and Doctor please nobody would care.
I'd care. I like playing Hag and Doctor.
I love playing anti-camp Hag and STILL getting accusations of camping. 😁

I always shake my head at them like "you don't want to do this" and give em a fair shot to recant.
I smack them right away, because every second blocked is a second lost. I'm just exhausted with unhooked Survivors bodyblocking an NFL Defensive End, going down, and then screaming that I tunneled.
It's like some Survivors think Tunneling is such a no-no that they will clearly be allowed to bodyblock me and then run away, and I should do nothing about it.

Except that nurse can blink through walls and entire structures as well instantly putting her her waaay above wesker in terms of that...
look
all this change does is make it so that nurse isnt gauranteed to win.... because anyone with half a brain would tell you that nurse is practically a gauranteed win and outshines most if not all killers in terms of ease....
All your change does is make Nurse a normal-speed M1 Killer with a mobility power. Plus nerf her.
And we already have enough of those.

I'm fine with it being used tactically like that. I have always taken it as a ticket to stick them back on the hook. If they complain post match: oh well. You reap what you sow.
Deciding what to do post hook facilitates decision making and agency on both sides. I like that. Anything to give a little wrinkle to the game's complexity.
I'm just tired of the complaining that I broke some sot of rule when they bodyblock. x.x

So you want to remove the option for a killer to go after an unhooked survivor entirely.
This is removing options from killer and simplifying gameplay. People throw tantrums over it, but sometimes you just have to go after the surv that just got unhooked. You can't find another target or gen progress has you up against a wall. The perks and base mechanics you're addressing do not need buffs
I may have read OP wrong, but I think the point was to remove bodyblocking, not make the unhooked untouchable.
Because, too often, the BT effect is used to bodyblock the Killer by the unhooked to prevent them from getting the unhooker. And then the unhooked whines they were 'tunneled' when the Killer (rightfully) smacks their butt into the mud because they never left.
In sort, BT is being used as a weapon. And then the unhooked goes ShockedPikachu and whines they were 'tunneled', as if they expected to bodyblock for free and then be allowed to run away.

Reporting them absolutely does work, but BHVR - I think - bans in waves.
The problem with an option like that would be that everyone would just use it when they want out of a match/to BM.
If you don't want a DC penalty, your best bet is to basically park somewhere, facing a wall and go get a cup of coffee. They'll get bored.
Banning in waves is the best way to do it, too.
If they banned per report, cheat makers would know when their cheats are discovered, and thus when to update.
If they ban in waves, with all the given cheats caught in a single wave, the makers don't know who was using THEIR cheat as opposed to a different one, and may be slower to update, thus catching MORE people when EAC is updated.

Quite frequently because sadly a lot of this thread didn't get the memo that being homophobic isn't allowed here.
It's so sad that some people normalize their irrational hate to the point that they just vomit it everywhere and then act like THEY are the victims when taken to task.
It takes 0 effort to let other people be themselves, yet some people just...can't do that.

The killers' ping should be shown along with the survivors' ping on the menu screen while in a match. They must also add an automatic ending to the game if a player's ping gets too high. It's ######### to have to DC due to terrible lag. Then you might wait a while, try again and get the same result. You don't know if your connection, as the killer at least, is adequate or if the lag is even on your end. So you can easily do this a few times and end up penalized with a temp ban.
They must also add an automatic ending to the game if a player's ping gets too high. No, this would be INSANELY easy to abuse. It's not hard to write a script, or DL a program, for the explicit purpose of throttling your own connection.
Anyone losing would do this, and promptly end any match they are losing. Because all the game would see is 'Pig got high' and end the match.
People used to do this all the time when the 'net was young and multiplayer games were new. Start losing? Throttle your own connection! I believe it was called 'lagswitching'.

I think he wants nurse set to 4.6 m/s with the other changes.
"and she now has normal killer movement speed..."
I honestly don't see how OPs changes would really help, she would still be very powerful against new survivors(as they don't know to double back, break LOS, etc), and she would probably not work against SWF anymore. A change like reducing teleport range and slightly increasing blink charge time could help her become more balanced and still able to counter SWF.
Oh, I somehow missed that line completely.
Still, it guts her uniqueness and makes her another M1 Killer at the bottom of it all, relegating her power to movement and nothing else.
Not really a great thing, IMO.
