Artist, Hag, Myers and Houndmaster.
Wraith comes in close but not quite.
-
Thank you and @MechWarrior3 for testing this and raising awareness of the issue!
I hope this (and the other bugs) will get fixed soon!
-
Some more BS achievements:
Hemophobia and Outbreak Breakout.
Hemophobia, because you have to survive and escape the Disturbed Ward without getting hit once.
Outbreak Breakout, cause you have to open the gates of RPD 20 times.
AND, both of these are even harder now.

Haemorrhage shouldn't be on timer as well, but numbers should be toned down. Now it's 7% per second, which makes you lose almost all of your progress immediately, and I think 2-3% per second would be fair middle ground.
That's also a way to do it.

The rarity color issue is still causing confusion, but if everything is going to be secret, maybe we don’t even need the offering screen anymore?FR!
Like, why even show offerings when you can't see what is being brought?
BTW, I found a NightLight pack that reverts the colors to the way they were before, if you want.
-
I feel like it shouldn't be here at all times, cause it destroys queues, and because making it scarce is what makes it so exciting.
-
- Lightborn. Nothing else makes them more mad than a NOPE perk against their flashlights.
- Franklin's Demise. Same thing as lightborn, except with medkits and toolboxes now.
- Hex: NOED. We all know why.
- Weave Attunement/Nowhere to Hide. They don't like an aura reveal coming from nowhere.
- Make Your Choice. Nothing better than a proxy-camping Hag or Demogorgon (or now Springtrap), right?
Anyway, these I suspect are the most hated, as a killer main.

Somehow I missed this thread. So that’s what that is!?!? Okay yeah! I had no idea but I was wondering why I was stuttering so bad. Super annoying.
How this reported yet? If not I can do it or send a you video clip. If you need it for your report.
I saw you mentioned houndsense just gets deleted. I am witnessing this too. Very frustrating because houndsense does next to nothing, so now half the time it barely applies deep wound. It was thankfully already reported.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: After dog latches on a survivor, HoundMaster can randomly become slow for the rest of the match.
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Houndmaster gets a mini rubberbanding slowdown when Dog latches on survivor, but it can randomly stay permanently. (There is a chance that it has something to do with the pallet)

He has always taken ages to recover when cloaked but the question is about being uncloaked and having a huge stun duration, this never was like this… is this a bug?
Oooh.
You mean when he's uncloaked...
My bad 😅
But yeah, that shouldn't happen.
-
No, this is an intentional thing.
While he's cloaked, pallet stuns are doubled in length.
-
Probably not.
The system proved to be extremely fickle and flagging normal gameplay as a quit.
I think it's for the better if it won't return.
-
It's effective and also ineffective.
A Shrödingers system, if you will.
-
If you own Pinhead, the names should stay the same as they were.
-
Seems like a bug.
Report it.
-
Yet another of the 1001 Houndmaster bugs.
I hope it will get resolved soon.

Yeh this, plus his haste addons need a big nerf for sure. I alrdy stopped playing survivor, cause literally every Springtrap is running that stupid haste build which has no counter, other than god loops. And even those he can still throw his axe over god pallets…
Both of his Haste add-ons got nerfed tho?
Celebrate! Poster is downright useless.

Report them.

I don't tunnel, camp, or really run much slowdown, but I do main Nurse
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OI7LW58XVGQB/1000032493.png
I mean, it's not horrible but I expected my killrate to be a lot higher. It's prob because I lose the hatch game all the time, and sometimes don't bother to play it, but still…
Edit: Y'all are really downvoting a good faith post because of Nurse. That's just sad, people.
Your kill rate is great, wdym?
-
That was fast.
-
Revert Batteries Included.
Make it so Unbound isn't restricted to only 30 seconds after an injury, but can be triggered any time after one.
And Babysitter is an amazing perk regardless of the nerf, so I'm ok with that one.

Ragebait? Wanting so iconic killer to be at least good is rage bait? This is forum to discuss, so if you don't agree with my suggesttions, whatever.
You are free to comment. If you truly mean these, then sorry I offended you.
But!
Takes of similar weight to yours are often used as a means to get attention by making everyone question you. People use takes like these to ragebait.
-
I want Mangled to be "until healed" and Hemorrhage to be on a timer (ideally between 80-120 seconds)
-
I do agree that the solutions could be simplified and disassemled into parts that don't affect eachother.
The Go-Next Prevention is a disaster, undoubtebly. I agree with your take that the unhooks only need to be disabled for the first 7 minutes.
The system that tracks if players are going next should be MASSIVELY fine-tuned, or just pushed back and reintroduced later, and hopefully functional.
I would gladly separate the bodyblocking prevention fron the AFK/hiding prevention, so it doesn't get dragged along with it.
And, the anti-excessive-hiding prevention first needs to be fixed so it works like intended, and then fine-tuned so we don't have ways to counterract it and making it useless, but also make it so it doesn't trigger too often.
-
The BIGGEST issue with both of these systems is that they're bugged beyond oblivion, as is tradition in this game.
The anti-AFK+anti-excessive-hiding+anti-bodyblocking system (not sure why all three were merged into a single thing, but it is what it is) triggers when it shouldn't and has loopholes that players can exploit to completely bypass it.
And the anti-go-next changes are also done with the tact of a bull in a china shop, shooting people who got hard-tunneled or used StB with a DC penalty.
In conclusion, the systems shouldn't feel overly unfair. But most of the unfairness comes from how broken the thing is.
-
It may be related to the recent changes to rarities.
The event rarity was removed recently, and possibly, the code that restricted you from getting those items wasn't adjusted alongside it.
On top of that, this patch made the items Common again (they were iri after the rarity thing), so that might explain why people are suddenly getting them.

Yea like you'll have something like this where like you're going to get hit guaranteed, there is no ifs ands or buts about it.
On the other hand, I don't know how the spawns work. I don't understand if they just pre-chose certain spots or if they have a certain area around the gen. Because it wouldn't shock me if in another haddonfield game, that door is just all the way downstairs and does nothing for the springtrap.
It's just so bad whatever spawn logic it's using right now.
They spawn where chests can.

@Rapid99 said:

The problem is sometimes the door faces away from the gen so you physically can't see. Also certain setups like a jungle gym will have the door on the other side of the wall with the window while the gen is near the pallet as per usual. The door sound is almost entirely muffled on the other side of the wall with the noises of the gen going off AND he's literally invisible coming out. By the time you see him, he's already inside of you.
The door spawn logic is horrific.
The biggest issue (the invisibility) is a bug and it will be fixed.

I had the issue in my first match on the FNAF map (it was permanently and I had to dc) and was sure, it only happens on this map because I had like five test matches in custom and three normal matches with her on other maps and the bug didn't happen. I'm still unsure how the bug can be triggered because it only happened once to me but @SoGo can confirm it since it happened to Sogo too.
Yes. It happened to me too, on the FNAF map.
Thankfully, after about 2-3 minutes, it seemingly fixed itself, but it's still one of the worst bugs I witnessed on her.

I split a blood vessel after this one. Pissed me off so much.
I can imagine lol.
I would probably start sprialing if this happened to me.
@MechWarrior3 said:
Another example. Snug needs to stop pulling people into pallets. He’s ALWAYS doing this. These pull cycles have got to be stronger.
In this example it was fairly strong which almost never happens BUT he pulled them into a pallet. Did I get the hit? Yes! Frustrating still.
It's like he WANTS to get hit in the head.
-
It really is pretty worthless now.
It's just the regular game, but sped up.
-
@CLHL said:
Thanks bots, worst addition to the game to date. You could blame the killer for a tantrum of your teammates, after all, there was a bot waiting on the bench that probably played better than them.
How are bots such a terrible addition?
It's better to have at least something after a DC, instead of just one less player, is it not?
-
I feel like thers was a big spike around the 3 gen era with Merchant's golden days, and it didn't stop since.
-
@PetTheDoggo said:
Not surprised and definetly won't use it anyway if I want specific addons/offerings, but I am too lazy to spend huge amount of BP for prestiges…
That's what it's meant for.
Quickly prestiging characters.
If you want a particular offering or add-on, you still use the bloodweb.

I fixed it quickly. If you clicked on it before it was fixed it will still show the old one until you refresh.
My bad 😅
I see it now.
I just thought if something, as the Event rarity was removed, maybe the restriction that made it so you couldn't get Event add-ons wasn't updated.

Was using Up The Ante with Residual Manifest and got this gem of a Flashlight. It had the Broken Bulb add-on on it, which can only be obtained during the Haunted By Daylight event.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/COYVIQBWUCH9/screenshot-from-2025-06-19-05-42-26.png
Is this normal?
Do you mean Ace In The Hole?
Up The Ante is the Luck perk that got nerfed this patch for some reason.
But, it apparently can. Idk.
-
This was changed, so it works even with crows.
So no, Head On is in fact NOT dead.

I'm in the same mindset about Otz.
I'm not sure who I agree with the most but I like to see streamers who look like their skill level or experience isn't much different from mine (HybridPanda playing survivor for example).
Makes sense.
-
It should get a big rework, imho.
Even without the downside, it's a win more perk.
I would do this:
Dying Light (Rework):You start the trial with 3 tokens.
Whenever you hook a survivor that's not the Obsession, all survivors repair and healing speed decreases by 3/4/5% for each token you have. This debuff will remain while the survivor is hooked and 30 seconds after.
Whenever you hook the Obsession, you lose a token.

@Rizzo said:
We should be back to normal now.
Yippee!
Glad to see it fixed.
BTW, the stuttering is still happening.
-
They should make it so they get refunded if they fail to bring you to your desired map.
So at least you aren't sinking money into something that is useless.
-
I'll just add that the forums have been INSANELY rubberbanding every time you select a post, mainly on mobile, but also when on a PC.
This was going on FOR MONTHS.
-
It can't be that, it's right above it.
It could maybe be Dominance or the Hex.
-
Still true, even after 9.0.0
-
9.0.0 came, and the bug is still here.
Until now, I didn't mind it as much (it looks nice even tho it's a bug)
But oh my god, the new map is completely FULL of these glowing objects. It confuses me so much.

I know. I am shocked. Its not easy. Every trial I play with her its bugs happening multiple times a trial. Good thing I care enough to try to get her fixed. I will keep making videos and what I will also do is turn them into bug reports. I have already started.
I hope that the devs will notice and solve them.
For a QOL Initiative, there sure are a lot of bugs unresolved.
-
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3945741#Comment_3945741
I can't say I'm surprised.
At this point, it's a miracle that you can still play the game with her.
-
So even that is bugged?
Sigh...
-
I think they should just do a 180 and start from the OG layout again.
Remove the long fences. Remove infinites and some god pallets/windows. Replace the old House of Pain with something less aneurysm inducing.
But keep the long narrow street, the tall trees, the buildings (even empty ones, they add to the vibe).
-
I feel like doors should only lock themselves if a survivor is hooked right next to them. Not in a way you can't enter, but in a way you can't exit them.
So you can't pull a Hag and proxy-camp someone with MYC super easily.
-
Ok, half of your complaints are caused by bugs.
Springtrap invisiblity? A bug.
Tunneling triggering the DC penalty? A bug/oversight.
Crows triggering when they aren't supposed to? Also a bug.
