I unironically wish steam was more like PSN so I could have ######### talk fests with salty survivors
It looks so fun

Capt. Capslock, you good? The fun of the majority (those who dislike Slinger) matters more then the fun of the minority (those who enjoy him). So yes, in that case, my fun matters more then the killers / those survivors who like him... simply because i am within the majority on that case. If i would be one of only a few with this opinion, i had to deal with it, but its not the case.
Pig is the highest winrate killer with an average kill-rate of 4, outperforming Spirit in every category
I can make things up on the spot too

I did not? I said he needs more windup time. To compensate for this nerf, increase the reeling in speed.
MY FUN MATTERS MORE THAN THE KILLER'S
MY FUN WARRANTS BALANCE CHANGES
CATER TO ME, DON'T CONSIDER THE PEOPLE THAT LIKE DEATHSLINGER
-
This has been the norm literally since release
-
Get Trickster on Swamp, game's over at 4 gens
Get Trickster on Lery's, the survivors are out the gate in 4 minutes
-
It's Wraith, he's the simplest killer in the game. Go to a pallet and loop like normal. If he has bamboozle, he'll get you with it once and then you'll be aware of it for the rest of the match.
-
I love drop of perfume
It just reminds me how uncoordinated BHVR is LOL

And you also contradicted yourself when you said that someone else's fun doesn't warrant balance changes. Basically your fun overrides others'. Which implies it holds more weight in your eyes.
But I can see from your attitude that you're not interested in having an honest debate. You do you.
Because fun alone doesn't warrant balance changes, statistics and exploits warrant balance changes
-
That's the nature of the game
Your mistakes as survivor are forgiven as long as your teammates are good
Your mistakes as killer are punished by generators popping around you
-
My favorite for lore is probably Twins
Legion is at the bottom, they're cringe and I hate them
-
@Bwsted said:
There's nothing nonsensical. It's simply an opinion, just like yours or mine.
And opinions are allowed to be expressed and heard.
Here's mine. Fun of everyone in the trial is important, within reasonable limits.
It's cool you're having fun. Your fun is not the end-all and be-all. Hunters were having fun too in Deathgarden. Past tense only. And that because Scavengers' opinions were being ignored. I guess fun was good till it lasted.
Try to be a little bit more open-minded and less partisan. Not everything has to boil down to us-vs-them.
I explicitly mentioned in the post that our idea of "fun" holds equal weight but go off
-
I've never gotten a faulty hit from a Nemesis
Probably just ping spikes

I'm fine with it on, don't get me wrong, just when the game works first.
It didn't hit more than 5 minutes because I stopped playing Nurse afterwards. If I'd kept going it would've gone higher because apparently they cannot fix 2 and a half year old bugs.
I want the dc penalties on but I want the game to work first.
If we waited until the day the game was 100% ironed-out, that day would never come
The DCs are way, way, way down and that's making solo survivor playable
-
@glitchboi said:
Agreed, and just make it so that they spawn after the 5th generator is completed, no matter how many survivors are left.
To compensate for these changes, allow them to instantly open chests at the cost of a particular amount of charges.
Forcing the last survivor to do gens is a guaranteed death, unless the killer falls asleep
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Yeah I lost access to all my blinks as Nurse on RPD and the next game involved the game literally crashing and bringing up an Unreal Engine crash report, while solo survivor still involves half the team dcing within seconds.
I'm so glad it's back when the game is in such a functional state.
You're right, let's remove it again so I can have teams of 2 DCs first minute every single game
That's not maddening at all, that's much better than people occasionally having a 5 minute ban when they crash

All this shows is how extremely inefficient yellow bottles are compared to regular purple ones which work immediately and are far more practical to use. Yellow bottles are borderline unusable in their current state and require extreme foresight AND survivor incompetence to get their effect off in a meaningful way.
Then you should've just made that the title of your thread
-

That's not going to work due to 2 likely outcomes:
- The survivor is too close for you to get off the timing of the gas activation, you'll only score a regular hit.
- The survivor has taken a whole different path after you've forced yourself to walk into your own gas-cloud while struggling to catch up just for the effect wear off.
What, you want a 100% foolproof way to do this? Keep dreaming
I told you the way to do it. You do that until it works.

Yeah then they afk or run into the killer, or if the killer does afk you're forced to play out a boring match. If people want to not play then they'll find away around the penalty.
Again, still better than forcing a depip on me with a DC
The overwhelming majority of people I force back into the game with an unhook keep playing
I've not had a killer go AFK on me in a very long time. Sometime's its a shard-farming bot, but they start the game AFK swinging at the air. I get my safety pip by letting them hit me for chase points.
-
@Kirkylad said:
Yes back to hook suicides and killers giving up and standing in front of the gate lol, normal service has resumed. 😂😂
At least when they try to hook suicide I can force them to keep playing by unhooking them
An AFK killer at least lets me complete the game and doesn't force a depip
-
Stop calling Trickster "Old Legion"
He's nothing like old Legion. Old Legion was the crutchiest killer they ever added, you couldn't do a thing about him. Trickster is gimped every time the survivor goes to a jungle gym, TL, building, or even a big rock. They're so far from equals that the comparison is comical.
-
I just wish they'd make her traps disappear within 8m of a hooked survivor, like Pyramid Head's trails do
the overwhelming majority of hags just camp the first guy down and force a depip
-
OH NOOO I CAN'T GET FREE HITS THROUGH PALLETS ANYMORE ARRGH I HATE IT WHEN THE GAME IS BALANCED

Unless you've crashed previously, which considering the state of the game, isn't unlikely
Or, more likely, it's a ragequitter trying to grift on the forums, hoping to get the dev's attention so they remove the DC penalty
-
Pharmacy is just crappy Plunderer's
-
It's impossible to get an hour ban on your first disconnect, so you're definitely lying
-
People get angry when their waifu gets changed up
-
Wraith is the only killer I could ever see having the heart to do that

Ok so if it's a chasing tool it's just an objectively worse tool than just learning to use the tonic properly to cover as much of a loop as possible with one bottle or block out key zones. I'm making more distance in a shorter time by using the purple bottle. Using both is just a waste as compared to just learning how the tonic works.
Also I can't understand the comparison to dead hard when the meter clown gets is after 2.5 seconds (not including the delay on yellow) as compared to dead hard being instant distance.
You get close more distance on a survivor with a yellow than you do with a purple
use the yellow between loops and the purple at the loops
-
Just throw a bottle at a survivor and it'll be yellow by the time you get there, then stab em up
-
Because every Blight plays exactly the same way with exactly the same perks
I've actually never seen an off-meta Blight to my recollection, they always run as many of the meta perks as they own

I mean the base gen speed is basically a crutch for survivors.
BHVR need to fix that #########, corrupt intervention base would be nice. Or a mini pop/ruin base.
I'd never lose if I had base NOED, I already have too much pride to use it
-
Yeah let's disable crouching repeatedly to appeal to this guy's sensitivities
OH WAIT that's dumb, take your L like the rest of us
-
Three Finger (Wrong Turn)
-
I like that one rank 20 survivor with meta perks, who deranked hoping to fight noob killers.
-
All you ever see them do is proxy camp, and there's really no change that can be made without a complete remaking of the killer from scratch.
-
Pick Ghostface and be the obvious better Ghost main to flex on your friend

No the first part of what you said. Keys and the opening of hatch is heavily unbalanced, you click and win. Espeically with a key a multiple people leaving
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2392912#Comment_2392912
Mass people bringing keys and rushing hatch is also not "engaging gameplay" you're talking from one side
I see "mass people bringing keys" maybe once a month
You're the faster role. Get there first. Close it.
-
70% of the time a suvivor thinks they're "Tunneled" it's just them being the weakest link. Bad looper, gets caught in the open, etc. Sometimes you get tunneled for the opposite reason though. If you loop a killer long enough, they might actually become angry enough to focus you down.
Proxy camping is an effective tactic on the smaller maps, but hard-camping is just an L almost every time. Especially if an M1 camps, they can lose 3 gens and still not kill the survivor because of Borrowed Time.
-
-> Base NOED
begging for a crutch
-
I looked everywhere & couldn't find a generator
-
Allow me to blacklist people so I don't have to play with first-hook quitters
-
I unironically like Gideon and think it's a balanced map

To enjoy the game

Why is the ground so bright on Coldwind? It's eye-strain inducing.

->This S-tier killer is now unplayable because this one perk is now countered by one other perk
Get real, dude.

You unironically recorded yourself failing a pallet drop and thought it made a point LOL

Why do people say very few people use VPNs or cheats on PC?! That's the biggest lie going around. VPNs and cheating are so rampant most games don't allow PC cross play.
a few games don't have crossplay with PC because console players fearmonger about it
in a thousand hours as a PC dbd player, I've encountered 3 cheaters
I've never encountered a cheater on Brawlhalla (the most popular PC fighting game)
I've never encountered a cheater on Tekken 7
I've never encountered a cheater on Left 4 Dead 2
The only game in which I've encountered many cheaters was Team Fortress 2
Console players just love to pretend it's rampant, partially out of competition and partially out of envy
-
Of course killer players are immediately sent into a panic by the fact that Trickster now has extremely mild resource management
He has literal dozens more knives than the amount he needs for a down, just have half-decent aim
