Solo escape rate is probably 60% and SWF 90% lmao
-
Let the killers mori themselves, it's not fair that survivors can just nope out whenever they please.
-
medkits still exist you just lose some extra charges

people still think we run Spine Chill to run away from killers as soon as the cat lights on? lol...
Some people use it for the action speed but the majority don't.
They use Spine Chill to avoid taking any aggro from the killer. They usually have 0 hooks states by the time everyone else is dead, if there's 3 Spine Chills on your team don't bother touching a generator unless you can loop the killer for 5 gens by yourself, because he won't find anyone else to chase.

Spoiler Alert: Your teammates will continue to use Self-Care, they'll just spend longer wasting time in the corner now.
I know, which is why my suggestion is to delete it entirely for the betterment of all mankind.
-
Spine Chill and Self-Care nerfs were actually buffs for SoloQ
The worst teammates I've ever had in SoloQ use these perks because they do nothing all game and play for hatch
-
The only mistake was not deleting it
-
If they stop running Spine Chill maybe they will finally learn to take aggro and loop once in awhile
-
Just be happy the killer is using a perk slot on whispers ok
-
what skill

Not really, because almost nobody gets to BL3 in normal gameplay, who gets to BL2 or BL3 in normal gameplay on a normal basis? awful Killers, do awful Killers need to be spoonfed even more or should they try to break the damn godpallet instead of waiting for BL3?
Dont get me wrong, this buff is pointless for me because, and Im being 100% honest here, as Survivor I cant remember the last time I saw a Killer at BL3 and as Killer I dont think I ever got to BL3 myself during normal gameplay, even BL2 is rare, I think I can count it with the fingers of my hand the times I get BL2 in a month but I dont think the people who depends a lot on BL2 and BL3 should be encouraged to keep depending on it, nobody but very players need to reach it out of extremely rare or fringe cases and they shouldnt be encouraged to keep playing poorly.
Oh so we all know bloodlust is basically a non factor but we're gatekeeping baby killers. Got it.
-
You guys are really getting destroyed by killers in T3 bloodlust huh

One thing is not being ready to be removed another thing is buffing it.
Have you seen the new maps
-
Because they saw the data and dying killer population, and realised they need new killers too, not just new survivors?
Perhaps the bloodlust test showed the game was not ready to remove bloodlust
-
What makes you think there aren't babies in high mmr?
-
Please just delete Self-Care this nerf is not gonna stop these goons from running it
-
I'm gonna use OTR all the time

Their constant release of new gen regression perks was a pretty clear indication they knew it was a problem, but it's nice to see them do something to actively change it outside of perks.
THAT said I think they're overlooking things that people will do to deal with the added time. Toolboxes, Prove Thyself, even things I'm forgetting. But it isn't like gen regression won't still be used so it's probably more than fine. They'll probably be keeping an eye on whatever meta comes from all this, because there will be one
Yeah it's not gonna do much but as usual survivors are over reacting
-
I bet the data shows kill rates would drop to nothing if camping and tunnelling were completely removed.
12 hooking is not possible friends, unless you're willing to sit on gens even longer.
-
BBQ change is good everyone is sick and tired of their load outs being held hostage by BBQ
-
The only reason BBQ was in every single one of my builds for 3 years was extra BP. I bought Cannibal DLC just for BBQ.

Ok? Like I stated I other people responses , it makes no sense of the killer can t even hold a good chase because gens are go if so fast and the have to worry about it come constantly . It's sounds like you don't play killer much?
He might be a Nurse main so he doesn't understand the killer's plight

If you are running around for 80 seconds not doing anything, how is that not gameplay sabotage?
You don't need to do anything in endgame besides walk out the doors and body block for others
-
I was excited about DS endgame nerf till I scrolled down and saw Off the Record
-
Oh wow the player count is up because of the anniversary event full of FOMO and bonus BP and the vague prestige reward, everything's fine.
-
Boil Over.
-
If survivors actually try to win there's nothing you can do about it. Just hope they're bad enough or fooling around.
-
They've already reworked or buffed the killers multiple times and it still isn't enough.
Unless they give every killer map travel equal to Nurse or Blight, I don't see how it's going to matter because the game is all about starting and ending chases as quickly as possible. The only way to create pressure on Survivors is downing them fast and most killers don't have the tools to do it.
If they reduce tiles to make M1 more viable maps become empty and boring. Reducing map size just makes Nurse even stronger.
The devs have put so much pressure on killers to be as efficient as possible while survivors can goof off and still have plenty of room to escape because of all the second chances, map layouts, generator speeds etc.
It's too late to fix, and I'm not sure it matters because there will always be enough killers willing to be a punching bag.
-
Notice how you don't see any outrage from streamers about hidden MMR

There is no way anyone here escapes a match 60% of the time. I've played this game since 2017 and I prob escape 1/4 maybe 1/3 of the time on a good day.
Unless you guys are going against complete baby killers in low mmr there is no way anybody is escaping 60%+ of the time. It's just not realistic at all. Aryun had a 30 something escape streak and still probably has lower than 50% escape rate on solo q.
Doesn't he go out of his way to taunt killers and get their attention?
Same as above, longer queue times usually means more likely to die. Probably drops below 50% at night.

12 escapes in a row? Congratulations! I mean I know a streamer who escaped more than 30 matches in a row, but he plays absolutely selfish. I agree with you. Everyone has their bad luck. I was also often in the low MMR hell when MMR was tested. But all in all, my Solo Q experience isn't nearly as bad as a lot of people here are making it out to be. That's why I said that I only play Solo Q at certain times. It's no longer worth it in the evenings after 8 p.m., because that's when most of the good survivors are playing with their mates in a SWF and only the bad survivors are left.
Yeah. Don't play soloQ survivor when it starts getting late, it's like MMR is completely turned off, queues take longer and you get questionable match ups/teams.
-
Killrate means nothing since it's not broken down into brackets, it's intentionally misleading.
Oh btw, SoloQ got even worse with the introduction of Rift Challenges, forcing people to throw games. Does the killrate account for trolling/memers?
-
Uhh yeah because survivor was even easier before, the maps were more broken with more pallets, more god windows, pallet vacuums.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, they balance the game around low skill survivors so they can still escape.

Killers already get to see who they're going against and what they bring. They already get double BP with BBQ. Survivors are now punished and lose add ons, even if killers are AFK. When will it ever be enough for killers?
Killers used to be able to switch to viable killers in the lobby to balance out SWF and they took that away, a huge buff to SWFs. When will it ever be enough for Survivors?
-
SoloQ was good at the start of the event but it's all downhill from here as more people finish collecting masks. Out comes the WGLF gamers and dead weight.
-
Easiest thing to do is show the SWF in lobby so killers can prepare. Offer them a ridiculous amount of BP to accept the "challenge".
But SWFs are a protected class
-
I hate snowball killers. His power is so over the top the only counter is denying him blood. It creates situations where he stomps or starves, and it's usually a stomp because SoloQs feed him early.
If people couldn't abuse turn rates maybe it would be different
-
They abandoned the map reworks pretty quickly, I think plan B is now admitting defeat and giving every killer anti-loop.
-
If they mess with Iron Will Jeff needs an emergency hotfix

proving the perk is fine because this is the most likely experience, most people are terrible in this game.
Just because someone uses it incorrectly doesn't make it fine. If they struggled this badly with DH then they'll struggle just the same with any other exhaustion perk, it won't make a difference to them. Actually they might play better considering how badly they misused it.
For people who know how to use DH, it's a problem that should be fixed.

is funny cause he destroyed those survivors in 6 mins without dead hard maybe was 3.
They were all bad, he should destroy them, easily.

During events, my personal preference is to either play normally or B, fairly farm. Meaning, every survivor gets hooked twice (or sacrificed if that's what they want), killer gets to kick gens, all totems get cleansed, the killer gets pallet stunned, breaks the pallets, chases survivors, etc. It's a way to just get some blood points and cool cosmetics and items. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any of those games yet this event. But I'm glad some people, like you, have.
I don't like farming I just want people to do their objectives on both sides

Was this a response to @bm33 or my comment where I quoted Peanits?
(PS: I'm glad you're having good teammates)
Yours.
I usually hate events. Playing killer always sucks and soloQ is just as bad when they can kill themselves. Feels like survivors play better when they're motivated to escape, or at least get to endgame.
-
Makes sense tbh, SoloQ was a dumpster fire in previous events when they could just suicide on hook and get rewarded.
These are the best teammates I've had in a long time.
-
Primitive M1 killers are easy to toy with
-
@NomiNomad said:
Survivors have to escape to get their masks.
Blame BHVR. This whole event is a sweat fest on both sides.
It's great. Finally all the useless teammates I get are actually doing gens. I don't have to do 3 of them by myself every game.
Majority of my matches end fast with killers getting 0-1K.
-
I knocked out a bunch of adepts I've been neglecting and both "skilled/expert generalist" achievements. My solo Q win rating during the event has got to be 80-90%.
It's amazing how easy the game is when these potatoes actually have incentive to do gens. Usually they're too busy roleplaying like they're in a horror movie.
-
It's obvious that generator speeds aren't balanced around survivors who glue themselves to the gens until they get chased. They're balanced around immersed survivors who spend 3+ minutes in every game doing nothing.
-
No mither?
No mercy.
-
To maintain the status quo of a Survivor sided game
You realise all the Survivors would quit if this game was actually balanced right?
