Hag>>>>>>Nurse>>>>>>>>>Billy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Spirit.
Hag has much better pressure than Nurse (@ me if you want to discuss) and it's rather obvious. Billy has decent pressure to, but not as much, and Spirit has a lot less pressure but better chasing than Nurse to compensate.
Spirit is dead against iron will which is a meta perk by the way

Billy>Hag>Spirit
To me its more like Hag > Billy. Cause the reason why Nurse benefits when everyone being injured is because she ignore every defense and Hag kind of does the same partly.

Learn how to juke instead of complaining about something you simply dont know how to pull out.

Agreed
Agitation makes it harder to body block you by beating you to the hook, and you spend less time NOT chasing people.
Why d anyone worry about bodyblocking? Its a free hit.

Nurse-Spirit-Billy. Highest skill caps and highest payoffs. As it should be.
Yet Nurse is very strong even without any addons.

They may as well destroy that perk

Some killer main with billion of hours

Enduring is trash anyway

Seems like a good change

its the lack of high rank everyone, a lot of folks on both sides simply arent bothering to rank up to red because of the current scoring system being incredibly wonky. killers are pretty often getting 4ks, and actually depiping
How people know that s the reason? So if i depip i ll get games quick enough?
-
Pretty good job so far keep it up thanks for not ditching on it

Is it possible that Survivors are using Poised, the perk from Jane Romero that procs and hides scratch marks after any generator is completed?
Or is it just totally random, no gen popping, and shorter than 12 seconds?
It happened to me on Ormond i know that map has issues with trails. But in general scratchmarks still appear with some delay and that needs to be adressed.
PS . No gens popping or anything else

I think they’re easy to track but sometimes they’re a bit weird.
Had a game when i came back to shack and scratchmarks appeared when survivors was already far away . I think when you leave place as a killer then come back scratchmarks appear with some delay

Of course not. Tunneling is necessary at times but most of the time "gen rushing" happens BECAUSE all the other survivors notice you're after that one single player causing you to lose gens like crazy unless you manage to tunnel your personal object of obsession quickly enough.
Thats a bit of a true for survivors with no sprint.Survivors with sprint will always gen rush cause most of the times they are always safe.
-
@Yamaoka said:
Tunneling one person = 3 survivors doing generators.
Snowballing = nobody is doing gens effectively as they need to unhook each other all the time and everyone gets hooked every few seconds.
Result: Snowballing is the most effective way to win but requires considerably more skill and/or isn't easily possible with any killer.
Hillbilly, Spirit, Hag and obviously Nurse got great snowball potential. Therefore tunneling makes no sense when playing them.
But lets assume you lost pressure . And what you suppose to do? Follow " dont tunnel" rule in order to please survivors?

A perk locked behind a pay wall should never be a solution.
Everyone will buy it though.
Yet you ask for what? Adding more objectives? When i can win already with 5 gens? The game is built around 5 gens you add more you will end up breaking the game(camping will get op etc). If anything gens time should be increased slightly(extra 10-15 sec wont hurt). At the very worst case scenario developers can just remove survivors perks that helps them in a chase and a few perks maybe(borrowed time etc). That would fix the problem for sure 100% sure.

@NoShinyPony said:
@NightmareReborn If your matches at highranks with Billy go well, that's great for you. But Billy is still loopable and if you are up against very good survivors, you are going to lose even with him. Even a Nurse can get genrushed badly and won't get a win against these kind of groups.
You can watch any of the very good streamers. It's clear to see that they don't get easy 4ks, far from it, and that even those killers will struggle because of the current unbalanced state of DbD.
@NoShinyPony said:
@DudeDelicious What I am writing is not offensive. You are basically claiming that you are playing better than every killer main streamer. You are describing how you win scenarios that none of those insanely good players can win. So I'd suggest that you should start streaming yourself and show us how it's done.
So killer is not suppose to lose if he did bad?To win as a killer you just need to apply early pressure, find rescuer, down 2 survivors for gods sake you just need to play according to a plan. Dont get looped simple as that . Break pallets that allows survivors to pallet loop killer forever. Dont chase survivor in god spots. Camp. Tunnel.
-
Just lets wait for GhostFace perk that looks like new BBQ but unlike BBQ it doesnt require you to do extremely good to apply pressure. Shall we?

Nobody can make you do a damn thing. If you are toxic in chat it's for one of two reasons.
Either someone said something to you and you responded in kind, negating your view that chat is not toxic.
Or...
You decided/wanted to be toxic and blame it on others because that's easier than admitting you just decided to be an unpleasant person.
There are no phantom hands on your keyboard, nobody holds a gun to your head in order to type something, so please...just stop. People say the chat is toxic because a good portion of the time it is. I've experienced death threats, ######### threats, been told to kill myself and called all manner of things. In the end I turned off messages and my play time has been much better.
Now there have been threads about some of the nice in game messages we receive, but sadly they are few and far between for a REASON.....
If you want to say nasty or mean things to people in a game, well thats your prerogative. But man up and own it.
Again im not blaming anyone. As i said i have noticed myself going toxic in post chat because of "post chat is toxic" being a meme already. I dont have a feeling to go toxic in other games.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Don't worry guys. Telling someone to kill themselves isn't toxic. It's actually just friendly banter.
Yeah lets all expect post chat to be toxic then? What your point?

Lol imagine still complaining about DS. Yikes.
Never complained about old ds. Old ds was balanced for me. Just bring back old ds and remove this new ds that lasts forever and you dont even know when it ends. So basically i have to pick up survivor relying that ds is over!? How ridiculous is that? Or i have to run some third party program to counter in game perk?

Dont get mad but when someone complains about Noed ya'll say "cleanse the totem" :9
This is dumb

I just had a revelation! A new killer perk to stop survivors from tunneling gens!
"Once the killer kicks a gen, no survivor can repair it for 60 seconds"
What do you guys think?
It shall be called "Decisive Kick"
I mean exactly that. The whole idea of a perk " Killer cant touch me im in a safe zone" is completely ridiculous.
-
@gantes said:
You don't even need a counter. Watch their lifebar when they're downed. The whole bar lasts for 4min, so you need a quarter of that.
Other than that, if you're applying pressure around the map, you're probably too busy to down the same person again unless they run towards you, which makes it obvious that they have DS. If you're getting hit by it too much, maybe reconsider your playstyle.
Thats good to know
There are other strategies to follow other than applying pressure. Playing one style gets boring from time to time.
-
@NurseMainBTW said:
For now Enduring is still a good perk to go against it if you really want to hook them again.
Or, just do as I do, slug. Most survivors free the obsession in front of you knowing they have DS and expecting the killer to pick them up as soon as you down them. Go for this route instead:
- Down the savior
- If the guy with DS is close enough, chase them for a bit and down them again
- Go back to the hook, hook the savior. 20 or 30 seconds should have passed by the time you did the procedure.
- Stay between the slugged DS user and the guy hooked, this gives you a huge amount of time since the other survivors are forced to come for the rescue.
I dont really need it. If they have a pallet around it doesnt change a thing if they dont 4 seconds stun doesnt change it much. The issue is that i usually pick them up after 40-59s
-
@Snapshot said:
I just start a overlay counter with a hotkey and when it counts down from 60 I know exactly when to pick up ;) also for Borrowed time it makes it a breeze
Thats what i need what you using?

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/46671/camping-and-tunneling
Well, you could solve camping and tunneling. However it would mean rework the gamecore, maps, killers and survivors, perks, items and addons ... It would also imply quite some nerfs / penality for survivors.
You cant solve tunneling camping its all there for balance . Just start a new game simple as that.
-
Get better i play killer and having no issues with genrush. Sorry i wont read after " gen rush is an issue". So i covered only that part from your post.
-
So you re not going to ######### about killer tunneling , going easy ways after second objectives implemented? You not going to dictat killer how to play?

Learn how to not contradict yourself. You said you are toxic because others created that "atmosphere". Isn't that avoiding responsibilty for your actions?
"Sometimes i go toxic myself"

You make it worse by being toxic and then blaming that on someone else. It is your choice and you did it stop looking for a scapegoat.
Not blaming anyone. Learn how to read. Im saying that people create toxic atmosphere(reputation) for the post chat that it sometimes makes me go toxic myself.
If i d blame anyone i d say its all your fault youre the ones to blame. But i said (at least meant)that something is going on with me because you created such atmosphere yourself and gave a few examples as to why( i dont feel such atmosphere in other games).

Then I guess online bullying doesn't exist
It does exist of course. But there are also good things that happens in post chat but NO ONE talks about it? People would rather spread negativity rather than something positive. Ive never heard someone saying " The post chat was friendly today". If you spread negativity you will end up in that negativity.
-
@Judith said:
I can't see any logic behind it. If you want people not propaganding toxicness you could be an example. What you are doing is just making more toxicness blaming someone else for being toxic. You make it worse.
I make it worse by blaming someone for being toxic? What are you on about ?
The thread is for people who spread negativity to think about what they actually doing. Never did i blame anyone in this thread.

So by your logic i suppose to be like you ? Act like you ? talk like you?Why you tell me how to approach things?

@Judith said:
So you are toxic because other people say end chat is toxic? Really?
If you and more people will propagand some place being dangerous(when it was dangerous only for you and few other people) guess what other people would do? They will walk in armed.

If others are toxic you don't have to be.
Probably but people are different and by propaganding things like this community is toxic post chat is toxic will do the worse. People will expect other people being toxic and they will go toxic themselves.
-
@Judith said:
So you are toxic because other people say end chat is toxic? Really?
I bet not only me cause when the game ends i always feel like survivors going to say something bad so i go toxic first in maybe 80-90% of my games
-
@Mochan said:
This is a buff to survivors.
Survivors would now be using the start of the game to open chests and break totems, so NoEd would be 100% useless. Killer would have a much harder time finding them because there are no indicators for the killer as to where chests and dull totems are.
Whispers and get good at finding survivors its not that hard. Out of 10 games i would probably wont find anyone in 2 mins only once.
-
You have that perk . Its very strong already.
-
Killers cant dc?

@CL4P_TRAP_ER said:
The main problem with No Mither is it doesn't help the survivor at all. You can't self revive yourself because the killer knows your running No Mither so he's not gonna leave you on the ground. You make it easier for the killer because he can one hit you at all times. And there's no benefit to running the perk. True it makes it hard mode but for what? You don't get extra bloodpoints for running No Mither and they won't make it give more bloodpoints because Prove Thyself 2.0 does that pretty well already. You can average making 36,000 bloodpoints with Prove Thyself. They won't give No Mither more bloodpoints because you'd make WAY to much from one match with those two together. No Mither is a meme perk and is bad in it's current state.
I disagree i always run no mither in solo play in a team of people with less than 400-500h. That said i use it in a game where i dont play like a team but rather play as a sole survivor who doesnt give a heck about his team. No mither makes it very easy to juke a killer since you drop no blood you make no noise( +iron will ). No mither allows me to compete with other survivors rather than killer.
