Biased killers main logic - if they are good = swf , bad = solos. Just got outplayed = SWF!

Why bother playing against a one hit down killer?
lol

Do you have a valid reason legions should quit the game?
Of course . Any game i get into against legion main is 100% biased. Braindead playstyle nothing more simly chase your pray you can ignore every mechanic given to survivors. You cant loop him nor you can break a chase why bother playing against braindead killer? He can down you no matter what you do.
-
Let me preface this by saying that I'm not trying to imply that survivors shouldn't have a way to avoid the killer, nor am I saying killers should win every game.
How many safe pallets on killers favoured maps?

No. You quit first.
Give a valid reason as to why Billy mains should quit the game?

Dear legion mains quit playing the game

How do you mean?
Late game . You tale a swing at survivor and he dead hards even though he didnt use it earlier all game long.Sometimes it can screw you over pretty bad or its just a feeling.
-
Noed is good only combined with bbq maybe. Maybe. But totems are easy to cleanse most of the times you just need to know where they spawn. Try to play with small game at first then eventually you will know where and how totems spawn.
-
How BS is any good ?

My problem with pipping system is that it doesn't determine how good you are at the game, not at all.
If the killer sucks and all survivors in that trial are good, best you can have as a survivor is black pip.
If the survivors suck and you are a good killer, then congratulations, you at best black pipped.
As a survivor, in order to pip, killer has to be at least average, there should be 1 or 2 bad-average survivors that will go down to give you your alturism points.
As a killer, you have to have at least 2 or 3 average survivors with a good one. Otherwise, bad survivors fck up their team easily and give you easy wins that won't allow you to pip.
Yes at least it makes some sense for killers -> more hooks = skilled killer . But for survivors not really
-
the stun start as soon the survivors hit the skillcheck, so as soon as the stun animation trigger, the stun duration as already triggered, so you lose 0.75 seconds of your stun just to land on your feet and be able to move again, so you have a 2.25 stun duration, which means it takes 3-4 seconds for the killer to catch you, literally, i am a killer main, i am rank 1, i love the new DS, but it really, really really need a 4 second stun duration instead of 3, unless you have a window OR and pallet right next to you, or other survivors who can body block or take hits for you, the new ds is ALMOST useless, with a 4 seconds stun, now it could be better, 3 seconds it's not worth it or good at all, 4 would make it way better and could actually make you start another chase, instead of falling down again 4 seconds after you broke free, buff DS, it's bad, it's weak, it's useless almost, and if the killer also have enduring...well i dropped you, let me down you 1 second after.
Unless you have pallet or window around ds was useless in anyway. So you want 6-8 sec for killer to catch you instead of 3-4 ? Not much sense

I use ruin, bbq, nurses, and sloppy/discordance/thanatophobia.
Trying to switch it around, but ruin is so necessary nowadays.
Quit using ruin it s nothing better have something else in inventory. If you going to rely on survivors mistakes you will never learn how to play against gen rush
By the way isnt CI completely destroy genrushing nowdays?
-
All of my matches I go to a gen it’s hardly worked on or not worked on at all, then I move to gen to gen finding someone and that gen in less than 30 seconds gets completed insanely fast.
Had the same happened to me when i decided to not take discoordance. I can see devs also removing toolboxes from being found in chests other than that its all killers fault if they got genrushed.

Nice we can agree on most of these things.^^
For 7. right now the locker aura cover not only ruins BBQ, which was the whole intend of this buff, but also ruins Wraith, Pigs, and Myers top add ons, that let them see auras.
If a survivor jumps into a locker the aura should only be hidden for a short amount of time.
For 8. the original FoV was much wider and killer could actually see survivor crouching in front of them without the need to turn the view down. The original FOV got screwed as a band aid fix to a survivor issue called "locker peek" (killer glitching into lockers to see if someoone is inside without opening it). To avoid locker peeks, the Devs moved the killers camera. They said it would be a temporary solution until they found a better way… but they just sticked with it and the original FOV never came back. That made it much harder to spot and aim.
I hate such band aids solutions. The same band aid fix removed feature of friday 13 turning Jasons combat stance into useless pile of ######### leaving him with no feature against groups . Eventually that band aid fix killed the game.

@The_Crusader Exacty, that's the other point we haven't given a lot of attention to. Currently survivors often aren't healing because it takes too much time and it's more efficient to stay injured. So no aura reading we have to talk about.
Survivors dont heal and it punishes the killer ? Lol
I wish my games to have survivors not healing so often
About Mettle of Man,
Yeah sure lets prevent the decent perk that has counters from its existence.

No need to nerf strong killers its better to just buff weaker killers

@Slayer If people don't heal because it's more efficient, then they aren't afraid of NOED.
If some killers cant dont see weakness in injured survivors its on them
-
@Orion said:
Totems are the secondary objective. Nobody does them. That's why NOED is activated.
But then Noed needs to be stronger for people to have a wish to cleanse totems and perk should be in base kit

Are features

So you are saying slugging and not hooking a single survivor is fun gameplay and is justified? Looks like you are the cause of the problem.
Yes its fun for me from killers perspective i always slug everyone and when they all laying on a ground i just go afk i like forcing survivors to DC.
-
In the same patch you nerf lithe now you remove the fact that the ability activate only in the chase.
Lol its actually a buff when survivors able to trigger Lithe when not in a chase. Good call by devs.

Good thing is much less lobby dodging.
Too bad finding games as survivor takes quite a bit too, but usually when new patches come out the lobby times are a bit messed up. They take way longer than they should.
Actually i think exactly they cause such a long wait . When i launched the game today i had first game pretty quick all 4 survivors filled lobby in a few seconds(not counting time waiting for game to create a lobby) with good ping etc. Then after that game i had same thing happened with an exception that they dodged the lobby and then i was getting survivors with bad ping and of course they were leaving again and again then different bugs occured like the one when you wont get 4th survivor to join unless one leaves then i got an error due to the long wait i guess and then i had to create lobby again(waiting 4 mins again for it to create a lobby) . I quit after 30 mins of waiting in a lobby with no success.

It technically is.
Many things are exploits if you look at them from how an exploit is defined. However, keep in mind that not all exploits are game-breaking or equally severe in consequences. Some smaller exploits may even turn into a feature. Proof of that is found across several games.
Not pallet looping is though but design of some non mindgame loops.
-
@Acromio said:

Pallet looping is definitely an exploit, as it shares several features with other exploits.
The survivors' collision is smaller than the killers', so survivors can turn around corners faster and make sharper turns. This causes the killers' faster movement speed to become less relevant, and it only gets worse when you take into account that survivors (the most experienced ones at least) literally hug walls and debris in general, and the killer, because of their 1st person POV, can't do the same.
Survivors are not passively just using pallet looping because it is there, they caused it to exist in the first place* and they have not practised any playstyle that doesn't crutch with pallet loops in two years.
*at one point, in the early days of Dead by daylight, survivors started to use pallets to farm and grief the killer rather than escape chases. Killers complained, got told to "just adapt", and we did. We started playing the hokey-cokey at pallets, when survivors were about to drop them. Long story short, the survivor dropped the pallet, missed the stun, and the chase continued. The situation worsened when a bug that caused stuns to award max boldness points was introduced. Some survivors would even disconnect after missing a stun, they were so desperate for the points, lol. Anyway, at that point killers started lunging mid cokey to get hits in and cut the BS short. Survivors went ballistic and drowned the forums in over nine thousand threads about "unfair" hits through pallet drops. So, patch 1.1.1 dropped and brought several buffs to pallets with it, the most noticeable one being the so-called "pallet vacuum". But there were also a set of unlisted changes that included changes to both the range and time-window for a pallet stun, and also a reduction in the survivors' collision box.
This made me laugh. Okay then by its logic hiding your red stain is an exploit as well

I had a good discussion with one of those DS god loopers recently. He looped me for quite a while, more than enough for the others to finish at least 3 gens.
I facecamped him. He understood it. We both moved on.
Why would I want to allow him to give me the same time-consuming and annoying chase again? That makes no sense. If someone is good at looping, you DON'T want to let them loop again.
Protip on that matter: It's sometimes smart to keep the first chase shorter than possible simply to not give the Killer a reason to camp or tunnel you.
Yeah theres no point because you cant outplay him

Being chased by the killer is supposed to be dangerous for the survivor. The killer is supposed to be a threat. Survivors should never be able to get into a situation where the least ######### move for the killer is to just ignore them.
This is a game

@Orion said:

In other words, individual survivors have the power to make chasing them (something that's supposed to be dangerous for the survivor) a losing action for the killer. Thanks for proving his point.
Baiting a killer into strong loop supposed to be dangerous for survivor? No
-
@Mister_xD said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/368651#Comment_368651
thats not the case.
one survivor is strong enough to stall the game out long enough for everyone to rush the gens and win. a 4 man escape should only be achievable by some solid teamwork (e.g. starting a chase, break LoS and have another Survivor take over, heal back up and repeat. screw up and your fcked). a single survivor should not be able to survive a chase for the entire round, unless the killer is rly bad and the survivor is rly good.
Killer is not supposed to follow looping survivor as braindead
-
@Wolf74 said:
Freddy was said to be OP on release and people still DC on him.
Legion is weak af and people still DC on them.
Doc was advertised as "breaking the game" and was so weak on release that they needed to buff him.
Even the Wraith was called overpowered on release.
Now Plague..
Also survivors
-
@Master said:
Assymetrical means 1vs4, i.e. a single survivor should indeed be weak compared to the killer (which is not the case atm due to looping), only as a team of 4 they should be able to stand ground
Thats the case
-
Why buff already strong perk?
-
@Chaotic_Riddle said:
@kamisen I see what you’re saying. I would suggest bringing perks like Mad Grit, Agitation, or Iron Grasp if it’s a big issue. Personally, Agitation is nice as you can quickly get to the nearest hook without having to deal with Survivors attempting to bodyblock from any direction with the bonus speed. :D
When they do that it only benefits killer .
-
Now hold on hold on, before I start I wanna clarify that I play both killer and survivor, but lately playing survivor has been torture.
You as a survivor only part of a team so if your mates are playing bad you get punished too i guess your fellows werent genrushing so killer just camped you out
-
@[Deleted User] said:
There’s already Haste in the perk library. Adrenaline should offer JUST 1 heal state, that’s it. No speed boost. No ignoring exhaustion.
Only bad killers complain about adrenaline and every other perk in a game. They all has counters.
-
@LegitAdventurer said:
Wait..this is a real complaint? I play both and never even noticed a difference lmao. I didn't even know they changed how much you could recover lol. Killers get mad about silly things.
This isn't preventing anything. You can still slug people haha.
Calm down it not worth to get triggered about every forum post.

I really like that as it changes when you choose killers side

Adrenaline works only late game. Fact

Besides hope that she doesn't see you?
Break a chase.

Then tell me how tf would you would for example bring Freddy or Myers to billy's level without breaking Billy/Nurse in the process. Or Clown or Doc.
All those weak killers are viable with addons. Add some addons to base power thats it and like post above me states is that those killers are weak because they are not skill wise in a chase. Nurse and Billy are strong not because they can pressure gens(in fact Nurse without addons cant put much pressure) but because they can end a chase quickly. For example they add this to Clown base power: Survivors hit directly by a bottle of The Afterpiece Tonic suffer from the exposed status effect

Serious topics? Legion is boring from survivors perspective like why even bother playing when that killer can down you no matter what?

Is there anything wrong with making Legion a "worse nurse?"
Every killer is a "worse hillbilly" but it's still fun to play different versions of hillbilly.
