Even mobile killers can’t apply enough pressure to slow generator progression.
3 gens strat + tunneling then its all the matter of your skill if you play viable killers

It's not exactly that but hiding in a locker whilst injured makes you very quiet
Ah but that s obvious

I feel like everyone knows this already. When using the Legion, use Feral Frenzy to catch up to a survivor and get an ez injure on them (you can lunge with Feral Frenzy, btw). After hitting them with Feral Frenzy the 1st time, catch up to them again and turn Feral Frenzy off. This'll allow you to get an ez down on them (especially if you have stun reduction add-ons).
Hiding in a locker gives you Iron Will for as long as you are inside one.
The hatch will spawn under these conditions: 4 survivors alive, 5 gens powered. 3 survivors alive, 4 gens powered or more. 2 survivors alive, 3 gens powered or more. 1 survivor alive, 2 gens powered or more.
Hiding in a locker gives you iron will? What exactly you mean?

Balanced Landing is the only exhaustion perk that does something for you even while exhausted. The landing stagger reduction is actually really useful on its own, and it means you could more freely run it with a second exhaustion perk and have a surprise in store. Surely the survivor that used balanced landing earlier won't have dead hard, right? 😃
If the killer has Thrill of the Hunt PLEASE cleanse any dull totems you see. It makes the cleansing time penalty less severe and might be the difference between getting rid of that well-protected totem or not later on. Honestly just cleanse dull totems if you see them regardless, no need to actively hunt them but better safe than sorry.
If you're working on a generator with Hex: Ruin and you miss a skillcheck, let go of M1 and just stand there for 2 seconds or so. During that time you can't put more progress into the generator, but you can get more skillchecks and chain-regress the generator.
If you have distortion and the killer has nurse's calling you can heal for a second during a chase to lose scratchmarks for 10 seconds to help you lose them. Combine that with iron will on a map like Lery's and it's an extremely situational but very unexpected little trick.
And I don't know how the addons interact on flashlights, but as a fan of the yellow abdominal dressing + gel dressing medkit with self care and botany knowledge, I'm pretty sure on medkits it does the math in the order of the items and addons.
Medkit + abdominal + gel dressings is (16 - 25%) + 16 = 28 charges
Medkit + gel dressings + abdominal is (16 + 16) - 25% = 24 charges
If you stop fixing generator you will lose the progress speed

Thanks for all the exploits folks time to abuse them)

Never said you had to play nice, I just said tunnel/camping are NOT efficient ways to win. If you get pressured into doing it, that's a different story. If you set out to do it from the start you are almost literally putting up a neon sign that says "PLEASE GEN RUSH ME" because everyone NOT being camped/tunneled will just go and do a gen while you ignore them.
Decent survivors always gen rush and they wont leave until killer is close . Sprint burst covers for all the troubles .

Chainsaw cooldown is fine, he cannot do anything in those 3 seconds.

You wanna try putting pressure on them so they don't do gens so fast? Because that's how you actually slow them down. Go after 1 person and the other 3 are free to do whatever they want.
It's pretty obvious by you thinking tunneling/camping is the best way to play killer that you're not a very good killer. That's literally how you throw a game. Good killers pressure everyone and make it harder to do gens.
Pressure can be done if you had a good start like having 2 survivors already on a ground but please show me your killer against competent survivors where you just playing nice by survivor rules and not getting gen rushed before 3-4 hook. Can you? I think no.

BT isn't a problem for us killers that don't stand near a hook nor go after the guy that was just saved. If you find yourself encountering BT often then you're doing something wrong as killer.
Tunneling BTW is not an efficient way to play killer. It's actually the worst way to play killer because you put ZERO pressure on other survivors. They gen rush you because you tunnel. Try IDK going after other survivors to stop them from doing gens. If you think tunnel is the best way to play killer then that says everything about how bad of a killer you are.
You want to play against skilled survivors with no op ######### and see how fast gens are going to pop if you dont tunnel \ camp?
-
I rush gens. I rush gens until killer is really close no need to run when killer is just trying to scare you away while camping.
-

@Saint_Ukraine The aura reading only activates if the surv decides to heal. Since a lot of players don't heal because of efficiency, especially in the later stages of a match, there isn't a real downside to this perk. It's surely not a perk for everybody but a powerful one for good loopers.
Its strong yeah but killer is basically have a perk( CI) to start a chase while no progression is done .
-
@DwightsLifeMatters said:
Majority was already ######### posting about that perk after the (intentional) leak, so ofc the forum will be filled with that.
It's just sad that we all thought the devs understood why exactly DS is so broken (I mean they basically said it in detail with momentum loss etc) but there is immediately a DS-like perk coming. As if they forgot what the issue with DS was, as if they completely forgot how the killer gameplay works.
Ds was broken due to it being able to deny killers first hook no? Am i missing something?

Myers is such a nice example btw, has to stalk for ages before even being able to get a time limited instadown with a huge "HIDE" warning sound. If we wanted to buff myers to billy's level we'd have to give him unlimited instadowns after reaching T3.
Yes billy is as loopable as any other killer except he instadowns you when you ######### up and other killers give you a second chance. How is that even an argument? We're not talking about the nurse here.
He EITHER punishes you hard with insta down or get a very bad game because he wanted that insta so badly . Just juked Billy for 3 almost 4 gens so insta down also rewards survivors real good . Insta down rewards skill something that competitive game suppose to reward.

There's no physical way possible to buff the other killers to his level unless you like removed their ######### terror radius and red stain or some extreme ######### like that.
Even if you buffed freddy by making his transition instant he'd still not have mapwide mobility and unlimited instadowns.
Mobility is nice to have but thats not that good as you seem to think. All killers are trying to create 3 gens strat and mobility is not required. Nurse doesnt have mobility by the way only with range addons she has.
-
If anything chests shouldnt spawn at all. Or let killers to get some addons during a game too

Is it not bannable?

@Wolf74 said:
"In your opinion, which role has access to more Crutch Perks?"
Pretty easy answer: Survivor.
Survivor have 5 crutches.
-Adrenaline: free heal for completing what you have to do anyway
-BT+DS to cover up bad decisions and making unsafe unhooks
-SC self sufficient unlimited heals
-Unbreakable self pick up (not overly powerful, but still crutchy. because you expect to get slugged)
Killer have exactly ZERO crutch perks.
I agree that killers has zero crutch perks but they got plenty of crutch addons)
Adrenaline is not a crutch it has a counter: dont chase someone when you know that last gen is about to pop up and dont leave them slugged
-
@thesuicidefox said:
@FeelsVeryBadMan BT is definitely not a crutch, it's the only way to counter camping sometimes. Otherwise all you do is give the killer more kills. The old BT I would say was a crutch. But the current version is just fine. Same with DS. New DS is by far not a crutch, it's there to counter a lame killer tactic of tunneling (and it doesn't even do a good job at that).
Lol lame killer tactic tunneling is the only way to prevent gen rushing unless you play with crutch addons that allows you to end chases in few seconds.
Bt is definetely a crutch survivors can just fix gens without even bothering which gens they are fixing(gen rush) then when killer hooks survivor close to gens that all are close to each other borrowed time allows them to still save that survivor.
-
Someone tried to juke my chainsaw by jumping into a locker ...someone was already there)
-
Well at least i can counter 3 survivor games as a killer simply by camping =)
-
Why can killers be blinded by flashlights during the pick up animation and drop the survivor when there's absolutely nothing that can be done by the killer to avoid this happening, if the survivor times it right?
How come there s a zero counterplay? You should feel when survivors with flashlights are close it comes naturally with experience then just look for them in the nearby area to scare them away then all you need to do is pick up survivor NOT very predictable. Isnt animation fast enough or was the old animation brought back recently? I never been blinded since october 2018.

I saw both of them a mere 10 seconds before they opened and jumped in the hatch, neither one had a key so in the VERY UNLIKELY event that a key was sitting right next to the hatch, they could of gotten out that way but I HIGHLY DOUBT that.
Key is small you might have just missed it
-
This wont help. I mastered nurse in less than 100 hours . Try Omega blink nurse first and as soon as you realize that nurse is ez mode switch to nurse without addons. Balanced nurse( no addons) is quite possible to juke as long as you not in the open.

Having the same issue when playerbase is at 11 000 players. Its good when it doubles up. It was like this for me before it got harder to pip if thats somehow is the cause.

Force nurse to blink at the same spot near basement. Juked.

@BreadLord said:
if i check all the gens and then come back to the hook, dont get mad at me cuz your teammates did not rescue you in the meantime
Ie dont save survivor at the last second of each stage .
-
1)Dont fix several gens in one area. You should fix gens one by one in each area to avoid three gens strat.
2) At the charge of a second (last)nurses blink if you happened to be away from her at decent range dont go backwards(when playing nurse i always laugh when i down survivors only because they gave backwards i wouldnt reach them otherwise).
3) Freddy in a dream world cant see #########
4) When Billy is about to sprint with his chain saw when close to you you can do the next:
1 - hug him to the point he cant see you then when he turns go back to where you were and try to gain a distance chances are he will lose you out of sight for a few seconds.
2 - wide zig zagging . The trick is you run in one direction and when killer turns following you you go to the other direction . Not only its harder to chainsaw someone when hes doing that but it also can cause Billy to curve and buy you a lot of time . It also works good against Nurse when she blinks.
5) Billy has a cooldown when he quits his power.
6) if killer hooked survivor at the middle of three gens that are close to each other hes going to defend gens and hook at the same time. The best thing you can do here is start to gen rush as soon as possible forcing killer to go for someones else. Dont try to screw around hook trying to save that survivor before another chase has started
-
@HeroLives said:
- you must crouch walk over hag traps.
- hug objects that are circular to avoid Leatherfaces chainsaw.
- give the killer time to vacate the hooked area and gain some distance before attempting an unhook.
- if you see a killer camping a survivor or staying in the area it’s best to do gens, attempt a rescue before next hook phase if possible.
- get in a locker if a survivor is downed, count to 5 slowly once they are hooked , then get out of the locker to avoid being detected by bbq.
- run away from the screaming auras when facing a Doctor to avoid madness as long as possible.
- put objects between you and killers with chainsaws that way they can’t snipe you as easily.
- teamwork makes the dream work.
- when playing against a wraith search chests for a flashlight, you can blind him out of invisibility.
- miss skillchecks or find a friend to wake you up against freddy.
Im going to add that you dont need to step right into hags trap to trigger it. It has wide range and can get even more wider with addons. Also once unhooked you need to land on a ground in crouching state to counter a trap.

If you’re saying that Legion has no counters than you’re dumb, he’s a weak killer.
He can down you just by using his speed up boost every time you cant juke him since he can always stay on your tail. Show me how you can counter play it.

Just stay at watching distance from the hook, there is always some overaltruistic survivor lurking around. Use Endurance to nullify that pesky new DS.

Solo players would be stronger if things like Kindred or Bond were free perks and It wouldnt really benefit SWF since they already "have" those perks thanks to voice chat.
As a SWF player I know this wont solve the problem tho. SWF players are strong because they are a team full of people that knows every single trick in the game. I've never played with someone that goes down in the first 10 seconds of a chase tbh.
If devs really want to close the gap between SWF and Solos, Rank System should be based on hours played. If you are bad at the game after 1000h it's your fault and not because you just started playing the game... Veterans would be teamming up with veterans to face veterans and new people would be teamming up with new people to face new people.
This would also lead to killer buffs because they would need the tools to combat this veterans.
Wouldnt be enough . Solo players should also have info about perks their mates have so basically everythnig swf may have then we can expect killers buffs

It cant heal you when in broken state

Legion is simply removing juking opportunity as he s always on your trail and juking killer is probably the best part of survivor gameplay. Playing dbd and just looping killer is too boring.
