Well on the forums, it's anyone who uses a flashlight apparently.
I just don't click at the killer when it's not necessary, unless they use lightborn. Don't wait at the exit gate and crouch until the killer forces you out. And uh, pointing at the killer after dead harding for distance to a pallet.
Well, I think the last one will be no more.

Killers that need to tunnel have a lot of room for improvement. Any "get good" argument used against survivors is usually ten times more true when applied to killers.
Main surv I asume. When you are facing a team that is omnipresent and has two ppl doing gens while one is rescuing constantly is frustrating, and when you need BP and kills for the archives and rituals It becomes even more frustrating. As I said, I do not like to tunnel, but I understand that sometimes It is justified. The "git gud" arguments never work as there are always more than what you can see regarding this issue, and a killer that tunnels is not always a bad one. I have seen Otzdarva tunnelling and he is a really good player, but sometimes the situation requires these meassures to get what you need.

STOP. please just stop what is wrong with you all I got tunneled more then 23 matches this week. Its more then the amounts of times I have tunneled. I did nothing wrong they just tunnel me for no reason. I just want to play the game. I swear to god I don't remember the last time I didn't got tunneled. If you don't have ds they tunnel you, if you have ds they just eat it and tunnel you again. My teammateas are no helping either I play solo. JUst stop for gods sake please stop I'm a killer main and I swear to god ıf I add up all the tunnels I've done in my life, it wouldn't exceed this week's.
Yeah... Do what we all do and get on with it. I am sure you like winning, like everyone, and sometimes tunnelling is the only way a killer has to obtain kills. I hate to tunnel but I respect every way of playing the game. I am sure that if you were a killer main you would be complaining about genrush. Every side of the game has it's own issues, so, as I said, get on with it and have fun.

Yeah, Sprint Burst is more annoying to go against for me as well. I just hate it to see Survivors sitting on a Gen until the last second and still get away without any problem. Or seeing them walking, looking at me, knowing that there will be no chase which will start.
But I also read on Twitter that some players are already going against Sprint Burst (which will happen after the Patch on a bigger scale).
I think that a little Mindbraker effect should be base kit, like one second of haste. Survivors with sprintburst are very cocky and sometimes that makes them toxic. Imagine if they had to choose between waiting a bit for their sprintburst to work or start running last second and pray for a chance to end their haste. Stealth killers would become much better and the game would be more balanced, as now everyone would have chances based on their choices in a match.

Goodbye third health state and unfair speed bonus. Wellcome perk that needs mental ability to be used and not simply pressing E at any time. The dark times have ended at last.
-
A Jane and a Kate have me concerned, and Mikaela scares me. But the nightmares begin when you see a survivor wearing something that is clearly not meant for hiding, but instead catching your attention, with a flashlight, as It is an indicative of clicking and a toxic build based on bullying the killer in many ways.
-
Sadako is tricky depending on the map. The TVs are always in the same places, and although they should be near gens, there are some that are not. Take Midwich as an example, as there is one TV that is in a room near a gen, and you have to go all the way around to reach the gen, giving survivors time to hide or finish the gen. So checking and replacing some TVs is necessary if they want Sadako to work as she should.
Another issue is the condemnation mechanic. I know that you could instantaneously kill someone if the condemned status effect is fully built up, but It simply takes too long for It to even be a small nuisance for survivors. If this status effect had a passive increasement , like Pinhead's chain hunt and falling asleep against Freddy, It would make matches against her more interesting. Of course, carrying a tape should make the condemnation increase faster and Sadako TPing to a nearby TV should also keep it's effect. This would transform the condemnation mechanic into an actual thing in a match instead of the meme it is now (gosh, I have seen survivors fully repairing gens while carrying tapes) .
I believe the last thing I am going to say will have cero support, but here I go. The sounds she makes while being undetectable should be removed completely. The point of having that status effect is to be SILENT or difficult to spot, and hearing the sounds she makes when being undetectable give her away. Stealth killers tend to underperform when compared to other types of killers, and making Sadako completely silent would help. I mean, for a killer like Wraith, Who is.nearly invisible, It is fine to have his growls as a sound alert, but Sadako is easier to spot when she is near, as she is not always invisible and needs her time to manifest.
-
As a main killer, I find that playing as a killer is often fun and challenging. However, the fun is power when you face a bunch of genrushers. But it completely disappears when you face a swf bully squad with four flashlights, head on and Boon:COH so they can be a pain and heal whenever they get hit. As an example I am going to use a match I played some time ago as Pinhead in Dead Dawg, in which a bully squad always directed their chases towards lockers so I could get stunned, blinded( luckily I was running lightborn) and clicking their flashlights. Again, beating a bully squad is satisfying, but It is not fin anymore, as It is more personal I feel. But, in a nutshell, being killer is funny most times.
-
I like having slowdown perks, as they allow the game to last longer, which means more fun potential. And not having to patrol gens as much as usual also allows the killer to be in interesting chases for longer.
-
Well, the obvious one for me was Robert Englund's Freddy. I mean, he IS Freddy Krueger, and when I saw this one was the remake version I was very disappointed.
-
Alien would be more interesting, as Predator would probably do the same as Wraith. Alien, however, would perfectly fit and would also bring an innovative power.
-
Base kit corrupt intervention would ensure matches are longer and funnier, with survivors actually having to do side objectives such as totems and chests. It would not end genrush at all, but would at least delay its result.
-
The pallets are no longer near to one another, and while the middle is an open field dead zone, the houses have consistent loop potential. This makes survivors have to choose when should they go to the middle and expose themselves. I see that making this map a kind of sandwich is a positive change.
-
I know people consider RPD like the in-game hell, but once you get to know the map, things are much easier. I personally like the concept of a big indoor map with several floors. Survivors have it difficult to find gens and killers have to take their time as well to get to places. It is a strange kind of balance for me, but it is balance after all.
-
It's the first time I see the game going towards balance. The meta nerfs will make games funnier I believe, at least until another meta appears. The base changes to discourage tunnelling are also nice, alongside limitations to avoid abusing these mechanics too much. And the increased repair time also gives killers a better chance to add pressure. The only thing I miss is a nerf to Circle of Healing (a tool that allows us to fully heal at will, something too powerfull according to devs). But this first step towards the redemption of the game is more than wellcome.

?? You are in favor of dc penalty increasing every time a person dc?
I am, as it will encourage players to not crash games and It will also make players with bad connections move to improve It. However, the vast majority of DCs I see are due to a match not developing as the person who DCs wants.
-

DC penalty should be limited to 5 minutes, not increase.
I am interested on knowing your arguments.

Killers I would like to see:
- The spider everyone talks about.
- A futuristic killer, maybe a Broken robot or a damaged cyborg.
- A winged killer, maybe a dark creepy angel or The Creeper.
- An alien, like the Xenomorph.
- Springtrap.
- A dead bride
- Another dead priest, maybe a Christian inquisitor. (But maybe this could be offenssive)
- Egyptian killer, maybe one of their deities or a pharaoh.
- An actual member of the Black Vale (or whatever their name is).
- Otto Stamper, he is related to two killers and is shown to have killer potential.
Powers:
- Flying.
- Taking over a survivor for a limited amount of time.
- A killer that turns survivors into minions or weaker versions of that killer (insert werewolf here)
- A killer capable of turning itself into an object.
Survivors:
- A politician.
- A doctor, this time a good one.
- A medieval soldier.
- Someone with a mental illness ( they do not have always to be bad guys).
- Sidney Prescott.
-
For me Talbot is a killer who does not need a nerf. He can be quite powerfullif used by someone with some experience. But Blight needs calculations and mental agility to reach its peak. Some addons could be nerfed, yes, but I would not touch anything from the base power.

honestly "make the time duration longer to join another match" and "make the timer start when starting matchmaking" should go hand in hand. Simply going "oh no, its a killer I don't like" then DC should be something they REALLY have to think about if its worth it, if they wanna DC over "I can't even, I just can't even..." nonsense LOL.
I like your way of thinking. Yes, I should have put this option as a possible choice.

I find myself agreeing more with the theory that says that players are the Entity in case we have to break the 4th wall. The game sustains us with entertainment and fun, and we control the trials as well. Also, when we ask for certain killers, like Freddy or Ghostface, they are more likely to be brought to the game.

Now here's my theory on who that is... It's the observer. Just think the last scene from the observer was going into a party room where he was surrounded and now is probably dead.
I guess the entity was upset from last year that the observer didn't even wish it a happy birthday and felt like the observer felt left out.
Maybe that could be Vigo or Benedict Baker as well, both characters whose fate is unknown, and if one of them escaped the realm, we know that The Entity never lets a prey escape, as shown with Mikaela ( hope I wrote this right) and Kate. That could also be a random dead survivor or killer as well.

Entity sought out Pyramid Head after Silent Hill
"When his duty was complete and his presence no longer needed, he prepared for the long rest — and yet, his skills were required elsewhere. The Fog that streamed over him was somehow different than that he was accustomed to in Silent Hill, as if each wisp contained the nerves of a creature, writhing, seeking him out.
There was an unspoken agreement in that moment. The billowing cloud was an invitation to duty and sadism, and Pyramid Head, taking a step into The Fog, accepted his obligation once more"
both are working in a symbiotic relation, as Pyramid Head came to the fog by his own will, the cages and final judgement mori is not against the Entity as they do the same job as hooks (you get same amount of points as hooks) and functions more like Amanda's bear traps, a unique way to sacrifice to the Entity
Both Pyramid Head and Myers can break the Entity's rules. Pyramid Head is a punishment for those who have commited sins, and the Entity is a huge sinner, it kidnapps and tortures. Some survivors haven't done anything bad like Kate, and it still breaks the rules to kill them, so the obvious conclussion is that he punishes the Entity by stealing it's feedement.
-
It would be too OP, as it already makes healing much faster. If any, It should make skillchecks less common, so the delay at first should not be a huge deal, but also not healing faster than light when you have all tokens.
-
It allows slinger to softly delay survivors. They will still heal themselves quickly, especially if certain boon is in the match, but forcing survivors to heal means they are not doing gens. Better something than nothing I guess.
-
Freddy is supposed to be more oppressive for asleep survivors. At first he had an awesome tracking, then the rework took that from him yo make him more chase - oriented and to make him somehow have more mapa pressure, but his power to TP to gens is only used efficiently for mindgames. I think that the old Freddy should return, with a more punishing dream world with not only slowdown effects, but also effects similar to Doctor's madness with hallucinations, being even more lore-accurate. But also keep the boxes and the awakening mechanics we have now. This would make the dream world dreaded again and would make Freddy mid-high tier.
-
Trickster is no M1 killer. His blades are efficient and annoying when used well, and a good Trickster never uses M1.
-
I cannot blame Killers for camping and tunnelling, sometimes they need those kills for archives and rituals, and survivors can sometimes be too intense when repairing. And when a killer camps survivors know that they won, they just need to leave the Hooked guy to die slowly to entertain the killer. And there are also some killers whose power needs camping ( Hag, Bubba) and tunnelling ( PH) to reach their full potential. What I cannot stand is when a killer that performs well does this, as they do not need It unless the killer power encourages so.
-
People will still use it for sure.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/330914/how-fun-is-it-to-go-against-legion
The stab-mend-repeat mechanic can be boring, but when a legion is going as m1 killer you may have some interesting chases. And the instadown of the fifth hit now adds a more interesting component.
-
Ruin's nerf is pointless. Since the rework it was a rather simple perk with some counter that does not involve cleansing/blessing, and they said they wanted to Nerf slowdown perks, but ruin is more like a time-saving perk since the rework for me, as it does not affect repair speed in any way unless you manage to have a gen untouched for quite a while, and now they want to extend that time. If they keep going this way with nerfs with no sense to this perk, it may stop being worthy of being a hex, as hexes are supposed to be OP in some way when active, and ruin is starting to lack some power.
-
Otto Stamper seems interesting to me. He is related to both dredge and doctor, and those ended up in the Entity's realm, so maybe Otto, Who has been shown to have psychopathic tendencies, will appear sooner or later, maybe as a killer or, less likely, a survivor whose actions end up backfiring at him (like Yun-Jin with Trickster).
-
Making fake Doctors move with a fake terror radius would be a nice effect for and addon. Also, I have Heard somewhere that there could be fake hex totems as well, something that would pair well with Pentimento. These effects would work at Madness tier III, of course.
-
I was criticised for posting on a quite ancient post, so imma say what I said there.
I think that stepping on a trap should inflict deep wound to the survivor who steps on it, as falling on a trap being wounded has no effect at all once you are freed. It would also add some kind of potential small delay to a killer that fails to have consistent mapa pressure. Maybe hemorrage could be base kit as well, or another kind of effects that slow healing down.
-
Since the cooldown was added, it became an uncommon killer, at least for me. The cooldown is simply too much, and I do not say it should be removed, but It should be more difficult to overheat the chainsaw. Or an add-on that removes the cooldown could also be added (as an iridiscent maybe?).

-
For speed killers like Hillbilly or Oni is perfect, as It tells you where to apply pressure while duscouraging camping by making you go quite far. And now with dredge lockers are no longer a huge deal.
-
I would do anything to punish survivors who step on a trap, even if they are injured. Not exactly apoint of damage, but inflicting deep wound yo everyone who falls on a trap would be nice, punishing and would make trapoer hace some sort of slowdown, as he lacks mapa pressure and can be easily genrushed.
-
I do not know which power would a xenomorph have, but it would be cool to have It on the board.

I couldn’t put old Dream Demon because it didn’t answer my question of preference between Dream Snares or Dream Pallets. If it was ‘Your Favorite Freddy Power, I’d have added it and voted for it myself. Every video I see of Freddy recently is Dream Snares, just curious if anyone else like Dream Pallets more.
Bear in mind that most of the playerbase is main survivor, and snares barely annoy them, so it is no surprise that they prefer those.

A third health state should be earned through doing something risky. And It is a perk survivors abuse A LOT.
-
Lightborn allows you to troll survivors and have fun when seeing them trying to blind you. I always have a good time when that happens. And Franklyn's makes them be salty, and I don't want to hear a survivor crying at me for half an hour for using it.

Now that the Resident Evil: Project W. chapter has been confirmed, this opens the door for more licenses to get second chapters, add-on paragraphs to finish them (including DLC's of just killers, just survivors, just maps, or even just cosmetics), and get full chapters if they never got them in the first place. Which of these do y'all think deserves to have a second chapter or add-on paragraph?
Stranger Things could add Joyce or Hopper as survivors while having Vecna as a new killer.

Hoffman was even worse than Amanda to me, as he used the games to torture instead of punishing. I even thougt that he was going to be the killer, and when I saw It was Amanda I was a bit dissapointed.
-
Manu times, against genrushers, these techniques are the only way to get kills. Also, some killers need these strategies to reach their full potential, as hag needs to camp and Pyramid Head needs tunelling. People should not get salty about It though, we are in a game which is survivor-sided and main killers are forced to act like that many times.
-
Marvin's blood nerf was unnecessary, and the killer needed that addon. So making the old version of it base kit would make the killer more appealing, and reworking Marvin's Blood to give It other effect.
-
It is the only way to punish genrush effectively, and although survivors get salty when it is brought, that means that It makes the match fairer, as if it appeared survivors were not good enough to prevent It and just wanted to end the trial quickly
-
Snares have turned into garbage, not that they did anything before though. Pallets are funnier for me, and trolling a survivor is satisfying, especially when they click and teabag you.
Also, where is the old Dream Demon? If it were here, I would have chosen it.
-
Killers need to be able to defend their perk, as hexes are no more once they are dealt with. Yes, they are op when they work, but making survivors think yo face them and coordinate will make the cleansing/booning more rewarding. And also, when you hear the thunder that means that your hex is out of the game survivors get cocky, toxic and is the beginning of a gen rush many times. So yeah, make the hexes more defendable.
