There'd be a lot of factors to consider. They would probably have to make unique courses for the game mode, since the other maps are too small for that kind of game. The number of gens done would have to be increased, of course, and there would need to be a careful balance of survivors and killers. I think it's a cool idea. I'd love to see what kind of killer combos would come of it, but the current balance of the game needs to be fixed before we begin to implement this idea.

That's some premium, grade A nightmare fuel.
-
Ok.

In any game that involves interacting with others, there'll be toxicity. Just how it is. It's prevalent in this game because the report system doesn't work so there's a lack of action against this type of behavior.
-
They're probably angry that they lost to a Freddy so they're looking for excuses. Just don't pay them any attention.
-
It's nice to see the devs get some love now and then.

I've tried for 2 years to be polite, using logic, using supportive statements to back up my declarative statements....not today. Not really in a mood, but doing the same thing over and over again....well, you know what that is....so here it goes:Okay all you special little snowflakes.....camping has always been a part of the game, and it will always be a part of the game.
THERE IS NOTHING THAT NEEDS DONE ABOUT CAMPING.....EVER, END OF [BAD WORD] STORY
People come to these forums at least 4 or 5 times a week, all claiming to have the "answer" to camping. Problem is this, no one asked a damn question. We don't need your "answers", we don't need "suggestions" about camping. MAYBE, just MAYBE if camping was something new, introduced about a year after the games release, it was based on some change, or it wasn't a DEV SUPPORTED STRATEGY....you might have something useful to say. However, seeing as how NONE of these fit into the idea that camping needs fixed in the first place....then continuing to talk about it like it's an issue will not make it [BAD WORD] so. It's a non-factor, a non-issue, a waste of time.
Now....I understand that I don't have to read the complete bile of post complaining about camping. I get that...and yes, I'm here bitching about people bitching....but it's been 2 YEARS!!!!! Like, one day my kid couldn't even walk....and DBD was released....now 2 years later, my kid can run like the wind and people are still talking about this like it's an issue and it makes them important. Ohhhh Ahhhhh, camping, OH NOES?! What do we do????
I'll tell you what you do, take a little bit of responsibility. If you got all jacked up, hooked, and killed, because you decided that you weren't going to let the big mean killer stop your efforts at becoming a hero for a MICRO-SECOND to some strange you never met on a P2P connection....tough #########. Try being a hero to your remaining 2 survivors and work a damn gen for longer than the time it takes to microwave ramen noodles. Just try it some time. The very next time some random survivor gets hooked because they want to test out the flashlight like Ochido and gets hooked 45 seconds into the round....tell yourself, "Damn, sucks to be you. Pass the wrench". MAYBE if you had just a shred of personal accountability for your actions in game, you wouldn't have the nerve to act completely surprised because you and everyone else in the match decided that the killer had free methadone in his pocket, and damned if your not willing to do a lot for just one more fix. I swear...I've seen it, over and over and over again. One player gets hooked, and it's like someone rang the dinner bell at fat kids camp!
Or maybe you got camped.....maybe this was your time to pay for the team. I'll let you in on a little secret....just [BAD WORD] on hook if your feeling like a real douchebag....or hang tight and KNOW that a new match is just 5 minutes away. See, it's not a very big deal. You got camped...accept it, embrace it, learn from it, move on.
Look....it's super simple ######### here folks. If the killer is camping your friend...that's their purpose! Time! Every hook is time. Time for others to escape....I'm sorry the emblem system has made this behavior mandatory....but maybe finish that gen first, then be the hero.
If the killer is camping a fellow survivor you have 2 choices. Attempt a save, or do something else. What you DO NOT get to do is make your choice, it's goes wrong, than come here and complain constantly that something is wrong with the game. Well buck up little camper...I got you a mirror, MAYBE, just maybe they didn't tell you this when you got your participation trophy for 3rd grade kickball when your team came in 8th place...it's not the game....it's your playstyle!!!!
This couldn't be said any better.

I like how someone just asks how to report on xbox and the forum devolves into a battleground.
-
The in-game report system is useless and you can't post it here. I think you have to post any evidence you have on the devs twitter.
-
I agree with how fast gens get done, but I don't think adding gen time is the best approach because gens are already pretty boring to do. The best idea as of late, in my opinion, is giving survivors other objectives, like finding parts scattered around the map to complete generators.

Well OP was make killers stronger to stop camping and tunnelling.
I just said they are making the killers stronger so your post is redundant - not really sure what you aren't getting buddy
Honestly, unless they rework and rewards Killers for chasing new survivors instead of focusing on one that got hooked this issue will never be fixed
Damnit man you could win the lottery and still complain you haven't received enough.
Killers getting stronger,
Survivors need to get better,
Toxicity needs to be deleted from this damn game
and fun will be hadSadly, toxicity will always exist in games involving others.

I've had a couple cases where I throw the pallet down and it stuns the killer on the other side, but they clip through it. I thought that it might've been a glitch but I'm not sure. The servers were down for a while after the update as well. As for the other problems you've listed, I haven't come across any of them.

Well, an example that might clear things up is, you start a lobby and four bloody Claudettes wearing the same outfit spawn in with flashlights. This means that they're probably SWF and your game is going to suck, so you quit the lobby and start a new one. Killers do it to avoid a game they know they're going to lose just by looking at it.I´ve reached the point where i find 4 toolboxes scarier than 4 flashlights.
True, gens are done fast enough as it is.

I can see that tunneling and camping have their place, but in the same sense, so do looping and flashlights but the problem is, looping is to strong. It's true that these are efficient ways to play and I don't hate killers for using these tactics but it wouldn't be fair to then, turn around and rage at survivors for looping and blinding you any chance they get. Sure, these are valid tactics, but that doesn't make them any less annoying or, in some cases, overpowered, like looping, because looping can't be punished in the same sense that camping can. As for tunneling, some killers don't have anything to help them in a chase and rely on it to have a good shot unless they have Ruin, and that's incredibly unreliable. I won't deny that looping and flashlights are currently too strong and need to be fixed, but it's not the survivor's fault they work as well as they do. That lies with the developers.
-
This just wouldn't work. It'll just be a complete squash through every rank below rank five. If the killer gives it their all, they would kill every survivor just about every time.

I don't mind the nerf to self care. I think it's a fair change and survivors actually have to lose the killer to do it instead of just doing it in front of the killer's face almost every time they throw a pallet down. This change won't drive self-care out of the meta. It'll still be used by just about everyone because the ability to heal yourself infinitely is incredibly strong. This adds a bit more of a risk to it, but it's still a viable perk. I agree with some of your points, like sabo being pretty overshadowed by other perks now, but self-care will be fine after the nerf.

This post. It's so unreal that I refuse to believe it is. Why is this something worth writing about?
First day on a forum?

Look at the front page, half the threads are the same questions over and over again. Like the real Gem ''Does anyone think they will ever do a sale on Auric cells at some point?''
At least that has something to do with the game.
So your beef isn't that this post is nonsense it's that it's in the wrong section? Okay
There's not really a specific section for posts like this. I don't really have a beef with the post as much as I'm confused it exists in the first place.
Yeah, there is a section called ''Off topic'' Mods should move it, but I don't think mods really do much here anyhow.
As for Lowbei, he's a troll and people keep falling for it, I don't fault him for getting the keyboard warriors all riled up if it keeps working and gets laughs. Why this post exists is pretty simple if you look at how much trolling he is doing to the console players.
Off-topic isn't really specific, but fair enough, I just find it crazy that someone would make a post about one person.

Wow. It's nice to see you take a break from the trolly comments now and again. It's also nice to see PC gamers and console gamers acknowledge each other as fellow gamers for a change. Almost every time I see them, they're trying to rip each other's throats out.

How is everyones 4th of july been?
I had a good time. I ate so much chocolate fondue that I might go into cardiac arrest.

Be careful about wearing that fedora in these parts. Last time someone came around dbd wearing one of those, they were beaten into a coma with the nerf stick a week after their release.

Either that or my whole team runs it when the killer has thanatophobia.
-
They're either really good or really bad. There's no in-between. When I play survivor, they suck eggs, when I play killer, it's like truing to catch air with a butterfly net.
-
i thought that it might happen tomorrow but I can't say for sure.
-
I bet if the killers had the ability to destroy every bodies self care by kicking over a totem, a good amount of survivors would say it's OP and the devs would nerf it the same day.
-
I think things like hex totems and the trappers traps should definitely have a skill check. If you fail the hex skill check, you start over. If you fail the trap skill check, you get caught in the trap. There could be more on healing others as well.
-
Well, after a certain point it loses the "scary" factor.
-
Geez, what happened to make everyone so angry?
-
8/10 as the survivor. I play solo for the most part so the game is usually a good challenge to me and it's pretty fun, though the role can feel repetitive at times.
6/10 as the killer. I usually have at least a fair amount of fun, even in games where I don't do too great. Those games with Squadettes running around with flashlights have given me a mild case of PTSD, but outside of those games, the others are fun. -
Someone apologizing on the internet? Never thought I'd see the day. I tip my hat to you, sir. Honestly, though I may not agree with your earlier post, I understand the frustration.

I don't really see any need to change any of them. They all seem fine.
-
It's not confirmed to come out today, at least not the last time I checked. And yes, I think they are planning to release the Clown and Kate along with the update.
-
The problem is, some killers rely on tunneling to have a decent shot because time is constantly against them. I don't get mad at killers for tunneling, just like I don't get mad at survivors for looping. The problem is the design of this game promotes this play style. Gens get done too quick so killers need to do whatever it takes to buy themselves time. Survivors don't get rewarded much for stealth and wasting the killer's meager time is the best way to get out alive. And because of poor map design, looping can be done with ease, which takes risk out of playing distraction.
-
From what I've seen, I like it. The Clown and Kate are cool, imo, and the pallet vacuum being removed is probably one of the best things to happen to this game in forever. It doesn't fix everything, but it's definitely a step forward for the game. I just hope the next chapter rolls around smoother.
-
I heard the Clown takes a bit of learning but he's pretty good once you get him down.
-
you will feel better tomorrow

But will this "butthurt" creature feel better tomorrow? Should I call a vet?
