Fast Track is a better Stake Out (more % than stake out and you get more stacks, also you use up all stack in one great skill check, so you can get up to +28% progression on a gen with max stacks)

Self-Preservation is a better Poised (works more often and more frequent, no limited uses either)

Smash-Hit is equal/better than Lithe (the only perk that stands out on its own, some might argue its better than Lithe tho because you can get more distance -> killer has to break pallet and then catch up to your sprint burst).

Starstruck is a better Mad Grit (I thought Mad Grit could be reworked into Starstrucks effect, I always thought a perk that allows onee shotting someone while carrying would be great, and it still works after you hook or drop the survivor)

Hex: Crows Control is a better Bamboozle (can lock multiple windows instead of one and it blocks it when survivors vault it, just straight up better. on buildings with 3+ windows it's still not good tho. it's a hex but you would get more value off of Crowd Control even if doesn't stay up the entire match than Bamboozle).

No Way Out is a better Remember Me (it works on ALL survivors, not the obsession only and is much easier to achieve because you don't have to constantly chase after the obsession, Remember Me can also be completely countered when the obsession is opening the exit gate).

So my question is: Why are the devs so unoriginal with new perks? All those perks could just be reworks to already existing bad perks. They are not really unique or new, except for Smash-Hit. I'm just disappointed to be honest.

    Strong disagree.

Fast Track is garbage. It is just a lame attempt to revert the Great Skill check nerf.

Self Preservation fills a completely different role from Poised. It's used when killer happens upon several of you survivors and you were lucky enough not be the one he chose to chase. It's trash because he already isn't chasing you he's going to chase the guy he hit, why do you need more stealth on top of that? Poised only happens after ens. And is even worse trash who the heck even uses Poised? Nobody.

Smash Hit isn't even 1/100th as good as Lithe, and absolutely doesn't work the same way. Lithe you can reliably activate as long as there's a palette or window. Smash Hit requires you to stun the killer, which is not easy if the killer is any good. And if you already stunned the killer why do you even need a sprint burst? You can already make distance from the stun. It is just a garbage "winmore" perk that nobody is going to use over Lithe. Or any other Exhaustion perk.

Starstruck - well sure it's better than Mad Grit. Kind of. But giving the exposed effect alerts them what you're up to. It doesn't work the same way. They are not going to try to body block you unlike with Mad Grit.

Hex Crowd Control -- is better than Bamboozle.... until the survivors blow your totem.

No Way Out - well yeah the only thing I agree with you on. It is also the best perk in this chapter by far and the most usable one.

But yes I agree the devs are pretty bad with coming up with new perks and content for this game.

  • New survivor is trash.

New killer? Dunno I'll see when he hits live.

I don't care about lore and survivors are just skins. So I'm only looking at perks and mechanics. Survivor is too thicc though for a Korean woman.

  • There are lots of ugly women in the game.

    Like Nea.

Lots of old women too. Like Laurie.

Here's the thing. Killer is only frustrating if you're bad at it or the survivors are significantly better than you.

Survivor always has the potential to be frustrating no matter how good you are at the game compared to the killer... or your fellow survivors.

    @Spirez said:

If they Camp just do gens. You can easily do all 5 gens on first hook camp. And the killer will walk away with 1 kill.

You do realize you can't do gens while you're on the hook being facecamped.

  • Is normal. About 1/4 of all killers I face are like this.

  • I wish more killers would bring Franklins.

  • @GayDwight said:

The forum has written a lot about this in recent days. Maybe I misread the character stories and missed something?

Nothing. Just a bunch of people assuming that the leaked shot of the new survivor was a transvestite.

There were some weird people here with really messed up imaginations who thought the shadow under the chin on the picture was a beard. combined with he outlandish girly costume they thought it was some flaming gay out in drag.

Yeah, but that perk also gives you useful information throughout the game, and you don't actually get additional value from unique stacks on it, just bloodpoints.

Lies, killers only use BBQ for the BP.

  • @JPA said:

No Way Out requires you to have 4 unique hooks though to get max value, and if you managed to get that with a build with only end-game perks, then you deserve to win tbh

4 unique hooks isn't hard. Everyone plays with BBQ and it's never been a problem.

  • What is Home Sweet Home? All I see is an old 2017 game.

  • @Dizzy1096 said:

So as we all know DBD is basically bully sim 2021 at this point. Killers are intentionally weak because its the survive with friends buddies that are the main playerbase for this game and they're the ones buying all the cosmetics. You're meant to be used as an attractive chewtoy to lure these people in "Look come bully these silly killers and make them rage! it's fun LOL!". No matter how much people say killer leaves them feeling anxiety and stress your mental state and enjoyment of the product doesn't matter to this company, they just want to use you as bait to bring in the bigger audience. It's all about the greens $$$

I only had 3 games tonight and 2 of which had the usual OoO SWF on Midwich (maps were random but it shows how dire the rotation is)

Except I'm not angry, I'm not tilted, I'm having a blast! Why?

Well you see it starts out like usual. I get a lobby full of flashlights and I know what's coming. As soon as the game begins I look around and confirm the anticipated Object of Obsession aura, ah yes there he is pointing and tbagging for attention.

Walk down the halls towards them

Hear the familar sounds of multiple flashlight macros being spammed at once

Try not to have a seizure from all the strobing lights at this point lol

Get the survivor down because luckily these players are pretty trash (despite one having 2k+ hours LOL)

    Bubba facecamp.exe

    [BAD WORD] just got real

Now you see the survivors are in a predicament. They don't want to lose to a facecamper so they know they got 2 minutes to start rushing those gens, except they don't want to do gens! they want to clicky clicky bully the killer! and they want to save their friend who at this point is starting to sweat as the fear in them rises knowing this first hook might be the final hook for them

The rest do the only thing they know how, they macro their flashlight even harder for attention "chase me! chase me mr killer!"

    Bubba nope

By this point it's too late. They've wasted too much time. They're not going to get those gens done in time and their friend is almost certainly going into the second hook state.

They'll run in desperate for the save, and a well timed chainsaw makes swift work of them. Then you sit back and watch the other desperately mash their space bar during the struggle phase

and that's the gist of it, you camp them out one by one. Knocking them down like dominoes. The salt, the disconnects, the baby rage quits, the post game fury. Both games went the same, and this is becoming a pretty common thing for me week by week. I'm now the toxic player.

You see these people were sold a lie that this was a fun game where you get to torment killers and make fools of them. Except now it's the survivors raging, running to reddit and the official forums to complain about facecamping and more Bubba nerfs. It's the toxic swf that are being bullied now and unsurprisingly, they don't like it. Karma is a female dog.

I'd show some endgame chats here but it's NSFW.

If anyone wants any tips on good builds and strategies for maximum effect let me know.

Leatherface is the hero Dead By Daylight deservers, but not the one it needs right now.

Yawn, don't killers ever get tired of feeling like victims?

You post about how weak and bullied and victimized killers are then in the same post brag about getting 4Ks.

Sorry, you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

Not to be disrespectful but i’ve seen plenty post saying that dh should be reworked, since it’s very unfair for the killers who can easily lose a loop because of it -allegedly.

I mean, of course it is a very op perk, which is used by many survivors and that can become a real issue on the hands of those who know how to use it. Still, did you ever stop and thought about the fairness of the Tombstone?

Yeah, sure he has to stalk much than the usual to get there in tier 3, but still it is not even fair and gets frustrating when you have the game almost done and some creep just walking through you and insta kill you.

There has to be a balance between those two sides. Complaining about the dh or even ds it’s just unfair to us who’ve been dealing with this offerings and add-ons.

Just a thought, be safe y’all!

Dead Hard isn't OP and it isn't a problem.

There aren't many Survivor Perks I would consider OP, and certainly none of them are OP in a vacuum. Most of them only give a decent niche effect and many don't even do that, and only do something useful in combo with 1 or 2 other perks.

Survivor Perks are weak in general. They are only strong when used properly, stacked and combo'd properly, or used in concert in a coordinated team effort.

There are 3 things I think you're missing from this analysis.

    1. Pointing out hypocrisy is valid as long as the other person is making some form of moral appeal. Ex: this is boring, unfun, oppressive, we need to help new killers/survivors, etc.

    2. If you make a separate discussion with the topic being expressly about comparing the treatment of 2 similar perks and wanting them to be treated the same, it is not whataboutism.

    3. You're supposed to use your knowledge of logical fallacies to improve your own arguments not to brandish as a weapon in discussions.

    That #3 really.

People like to point out Logical Fallaies like they're so smart and like it means anything. it doesn't. When it comes to making an argument what matters are your arguments.

  • There isn't a lot of Whataboutism on this forum.

There are just a lot people who have can't refute the other player so they just shout Whataboutism as if that automatically wins anything.

Most people who for instance don't want nerfs to DS will not just say "what about NoEd?" they will also talk about why DS is fine. This ridiculous practice of playing the "Whataboutism" card here on this forum gets really old.

Currently I'm really loving: Kindred, Windows of Opportunity, Premonition and Balanced Landing

What's everyone else's favourite solo builds that give them the most information and help them survive the most?

This is the best solo build for your purpose IMO:

    * Aftercare

    * Blood Pact

    * Kindred

    * Iron Will

You can replace Iron Will with Better Together if you don't need to stay quiet .

  • Spine Chill doesn't destroy silent killers. It destroys incompetent killers.

  • Kill = Win

I don't support the emblem system.

  • @Mringasa said:

This is why I don't play in the Red Ranks.

Purple/Green matches are mostly chill and fun. You get the occasional tryhard who just wants to be as obnoxious as possible, but the majority of matches are good games. There's also the bad MM, but that's a whole nother topic for discussion.

You can tell Red Rank Killers within the first minute. Their playstyle is completely different from Purples, even though it's just one Rank up. Glad I got my Rank 1 achievement out of the way. I'll just keep on de-ranking and stay from 9-7 or so. MUCH more fun that way.

If only I could stay in Green/Purple. I keep going up to Red. And I don't like deranking on purpose or AFKing or whatever.

  • I'm doing killer challenges right now. Don't really need help so far I have it figured out I think. For now anyway. Been using slugging builds to get the challenges done.

I get the feeling I'll be skipping the Nurse blink challenge. That is just going to piss me off.

  • NoEd is fine.

Also NoEd isn't really the proper analogue to DS.

    DS is closer to Ruin.

NoEd is actually more like Keys.

  • @SilentHillOnDvD said:

Back to back haddonsfield then after that I got Gideon meat plant after that I got lerys. The survivors weren't even good in chase, they dropped pallets so early and just held W. They were only good at being efficient on gens which is annoying because if I'm dominating every chase, shouldn't I be winning? This is exactly why I love dead dawg and shelter woods because those maps don't spam safe loop into god pallets, survivors have to actually manage resources and work more as a team.

Well there's not much else to get carried by. Maps are the only thing survivors really have going for them.

The biggest weapons survivors have against killers are map obstructions. Maps that have more of them help a lot.

Maps that don't have them? Holy mother. Lots of killers get carried by maps too, I mean I always get Spirit on Shelter Woods for some reason.

Map balance is a very real issue in DBD but it's also just part of the bigger problem that the game mechanics aren't exactly robust enough that survivors have any other tools at their disposal.

    @Dizzy1096 said:

This has been a thing forever. Its why you shouldnt take people serious who say “freddy takes no skilll”, “spirit takes no skill”. On some maps as survivor you can win just by holding W and dropping god pallets. If you’ve got sprint burst even better.

If the killer chases a survivor through Badham school for example that alone can be a game winning chase just by holding forward as survivor. Hold W through the school, drop a god pallet, hold W around, drop a god pallet if killer is too close, and use the fence window which easily gives you 2 x loop. I’ve never timed it but with a fresh spawn holding W there until the resources are gone is easily 3 gens worth and that’s for a single hit, you’ve still got another hit to go.

Worth bearing in mind that the designers reworked this map TWICE and this is the best they could come up with. I would bet your average DBD player could design a better map, i know thats a clichè that gets said a lot but in this case its true

Now this is crazy talk. Just as how Freddy does take skill and Spirit does take skill, playing survivor also takes skill and you can't just press W to win unless the killer is an absolute potato.

Looping is the literal ONLY skillful thing a survivor can do.

Not really true. Stealthing is another strategy and is a lot harder to do than looping and requires a lot more skill. It's also not very effective because making mistakes while stealthing is severely punished, and it's just harder in general if the killer has good awareness.

Blood Pact is a good perk.

Any perk that gives your teammates info to help them player is a good perk. Many of the problems solo survivors have would be alleviated if people learned to play with perks like Blood Pact, Aftercare and Better Together. They've learned to use Kindred, these other perks also deserve to be used. Maybe buffing them would do the trick; people didn't use Kindred until it got buffed.

Seriously? LOL that's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

Nevermind that you can't "counter spirit" because you don't even know if you're going to face Spirit.

This is like saying bring Calm Spirit just in case you fight a Doctor.

  • @Dizzy1096 said:

Survivors should get the benefits of making the killer think have Decisive Strike when not one of them is willing to use a perk slot for it? 16 perks, not a single DS, but the survivors deserve the killer to be fooled into thinking they have it

This might be the most entitled thing I ever read. The simple fix is to bring an obsession perk. There’s one called Decisive Strike, it’s pretty good you should try it.

Killers get the benefit of survivors thinking they have BBQ even if they don't.

So I think it's fair the other way around.

  • I once made a suggestion that there should be alternate killer objectives. Similar to how survivors should have alternate or secondary objectives.

For instance, you as killer can collect twigs or whatever from around the map and use it to build a shrine in the basement. Survivors could wreck the shrine like breaking a totem while you were out gathering your mats. This Monstrous Shrine if completed would then automatically teleport a survivor to the basement hook. One idea was to rework Monstrous Shrine perk like this.

So now you hold a huge advantages in return for throwing your gen defense.

Just an idea but everyone shot it down and said I was crazy. Well whatever.

  • @Shaped said:

Hmmm ok. That crossed my mind too but I was not really sure how it works. Thanks.

They really need to make playing killer more appealing.

Ironically they have made the killer experience a lot better from how it used to be.

But instead of increase the killer population it actually decreased it. Some 3 years ago killer queues were super long because there were too many killers and not enough survivors. This was an era when we still had infinites like the Ironworks infinite, we had uber balanced landing which made every building on Haddonfield an infinite, we had old Decisive Strike, we had 99% Sabo, we had Toolboxes that actually did stuff, Leader wasn't nerfed into the ground, maps were signifiicantly darker and clothes were also darker, it was legit hard to see survivors, Endgame Collapse didn't exist, etc.

Playing as killer during this era was hellish but we still had more killers than survivors.

  • Nobody knows how matchmaking works. Not even BHVR from what I can tell.

Doesn't change that they are killer mains. I play killer quite a bit but I'm hardly a killer main. I'm a survivor main through and through.

Honestly, it is a little silly seeing people put down ideas simply because they don't like them or want them. At this point in the game, any idea could be possible. Everyone always said Pyramid Head would never work in the game, then we got a Silent Hill chapter. Everyone said Ghostface would be boring and we already had similar killers, bam he got added. The devs said we would never see non-human killers, then they added Demogorgon. Any idea is possible and the devs have basically shown that they are creative and can make an idea work. Obviously, people know that an FNAF chapter is not likely since Scott stated he isn't doing collabs right now, but to put down ideas or theories because you don't like something isn't very nice or healthy for the community, especially saying FNAF's fandom is reason enough not to have a chapter for it, when DBD has one of the worst, toxic communities on a game, and other collabs didn't attract toxic fans from their fandoms.

No, it is absolutely our right as the fanbase to discuss what we want and don't want in the game. The game owes its success to us, the paying customers, so at the very least even if we don't have control, we at the very least have a right to discuss what we want and don't want.

Using my earlier example. If BHVR theoretically said, "We are doing a Backyardians Colab!"

    image.png

Are you saying we would be wrong to say we don't want this?

Because that's precisely what you're saying. The devs can make it work!

Seems like your using confirmation bias. I could go anywhere and find adults and teens that love the game. Plus, everyone who liked FNaF when it came out is an adult now, as the game is almost a decade old.

Also, your point about being a "serious gamer" is hilarious. You're gatekeeping. Stop it.

Fair enough. But I still stand by how the game series is not anything the general gamer populace takes seriously. That's why there s so much resistance to adding it to DBD.

There will always be exceptions and of course everyone has a different opinion. But FNAF as a brand is just not something most gamers can take seriously. Even if it's become "more interesting" since then. My point is it has always been a kiddy series and always will be and no amount of retconning it after the fact will change that stigma and branding it has.

And that's why most gamers will never accept it in a game like DBD.

  • I'm not against the idea.

Challenges/Acheivements mean nothing anyway so anything to make them easier would be better for me so people can finish them quickly and get on with their lives.

unless the Backyardigans involve child murder and experimentation as well as cults now this analogy really doesn't work, but aside from that you're pretty much right on the money

FNAF only appeals to the same demoraphic that enjoys Backyardigans.

I know that the two are in terms of genre and subject matter nothing alike, but I've never seen a grown man or even a teenager at the time say anything positive about this game series (other than shills in the game journalist crowd -- but that profession is a joke these days). It is something that only appealed to kids of the time being brainwashed by influencers. Same kids who watch Backyardigans.

FNAF is existentially a series that the gamer community practically unanimously views as a "kiddy" series on the level of children's shows like that. It has zero appeal to any serious gamer.

Both you and that other forum poster is over reacting. While i understand lobby dodging key users. (Keys needs that rework) dodging swf is kinda eh. I cant tell you how many times i got an extra kill cause swf. Or how many times i got killed because i was alteristic for a friend. Simmer down.

It's not an overreacton. Killers really do this.

Lobby dodging has been a thing for a long time.

  • That's the nature of game-related forums.

There is only so much that changes in a game over time. DBD isn't exactly a fast updated game so there isn't much to discuss between updates.

And even the fastest-updated games have the same problem.

Forums for games tend to devolve into

    1. For Singleplayer games -- a few diehards/regulars posting the same stuff over and over, usually turning into some kind of tech support/subject matter experts recommendin stuff to the newbies who show up every now and then.
    2. For multiplayer games -- clique wars between various factions trash talking each other to death.

This game forum is no exception.

If you are looking for better quality forum look for a more general forum for games in general, rather than one tied to a specific game. Specific game forums are still useful though because you can find people with a lot of knowledge in these forums and learn stuff you wouldn't learn anywhere else. These days you can get similar info from Influencers and YouTubers, but if you're old school and don't like influencers (like me) forums are still the go to.

  • @panernaners said:

I changed this because everyone is not reading it and not understanding my intent which is fine.

post below why you are against it.

I ignored the thread initially but now that it's been "reworked" I'll bite.

I don't want an FNAF chapter beacuse I think the FNAF franchise is dumb, stupid and only succeeded beceause it was being promoted by infantile influencers to 5-year olds who thought opening and closing doors was good gameplay.

My nephew loves this series, he was 5-years old or so at the time, but the game was atrocious to say the least. That is not "gameplay" games we were playing in the 80's had far, far better gameplay than that tripe. He loved it only because his favorite YouTube influencers were hyping it and told him to play it.

But the "gameplay" of the FNAF games is just plain terrible. The series itself is also terrible, there is nothing redeeming about it aesthetically or mechanically.

If it could die a million deaths it wouldn't be enough.

I don't want the DBD brand to be associated with dreck like this. It would make DBD a joke. Of course the 5-year olds who loved FNAF back then would like it. But the rest of us would just roll our eyes.

    image.png

It would be the equivalent of including The Backyardigans in Dead by Daylight.

  • This should definitely be a thing. New players need it to compete with people who've been playing this game for thousands of hours. Since grinding BP takes forever they need tons of BP just to get started.

  • I agree with this post.

  • If your thread was deleted the mods will message you about it. Mandy is a very nice mod will tell you what's the score.

There is always a reason for deletion they aren't removed for no reason.

In the tru3 and Otz debate they both seemed to agree using the ptb for slight changes and based on feedback whether something goes through or not. Currently the ptbs only really used for mid and chapter but if there was a experimental ptb every say week (like overwatch) where they say try a slight cooldown on Freddie's shares one week, slow him down when using them the next (instead of the cooldown) and test the waters instead of pulling a Billy and just absolutely murder him with what the devs think. In the reverse case they test a ptb where new ds has a infinite timer now, should this go to live or no? Actually use the ptb more for balsnce then testing a bunch of stuff at once? Otz and tru3 seemed to encourage a ptb like this so i just thought of overwatchs experimental where it makes it so much easier for the devs to test balance changes and the experimental made the game balance so quicker when theres a new one every 2 weeks. Thoughts?

It doesn't do anything for Overwatch, what makes you think it would work for DBD?

In theory this is good, in practice BHVR can't make use of any input they get from players in the PTB. Blizzard with their multibillion dollar workforce can't do it. BHVR certainly can't either. BHVR can't even keep up with feedback from the midchapter and chapter PTBs. Weekly PTBs? Get out of here.

that's why I assume it won't be entirely based on whether or not you escaped or 3k or 4k but would also go into chase length, whether or not the survivor escaped a chase, how frequently chases were escaped in the match against the killer, time spent on gens and time spent not doing one in between being on one (a common complaint from manys olos about their teammates) safe unhooks versus safe if you're the one pulling people down and probably lots of other things. They might even factor perks used into it, like if you roll in with unbreakable/soul, DS, dead hard it automatically gives you a slight bump just to avoid too much of that being bumped down into super low elos against killers less able if not unable to handle it even yet.

It's gotta be based on stuff like that, and more of course, for this game since if it's simply "If escaped elo up if not escaped elo down" this game will die and I stand by that since games like a way to be dead and possibly the evil dead will be pulling people away from it if they offer much more fun to them. if elo is handled as simply and inaccurately as that, it'll be mostly swf playing this game by the end of the year at a much lower pop to boot. And when a game like this gets to that point in it's lifespan, it starts having a rough time holding onto the other side and retaining any newbies that try the wrong side out or get ######### talked on survivor side by 2 or 3 mans for being new and not getting a pHD in the game before tyring to play it. It'll basically become a small circle jerk of sweat factories and essentially unable to hold onto any new players and be doomed to that current state indefinitely or until major overhauls and soft reboots thatw ould drive those circlejerks away from the game. I've seen both scenarios play out before actually in other games.

That just sounds like loser talk making excuses why they lost.

Fact: if you're good enough to loop the killer for 5 minutes, you're good enough to get out the exit gates. And that is what will happen most of the time. Especially at lower ranks. Sure, you will get bad games every now and then, but they are just that: bad games. You will on average do well enough to escape more often than not if you are actually significantly more skilled than your opponent. This is true even in Solo Q.

A long arduous road to pull yourself out of Rank 20 to get to the good ranks? #########? Sounds like you just want to be carried by your team. A good survivor will naturally get out of Rank 20 just by playing and end up in Red Ranks without even trying. I depipped last week to Rank 12 because of the depip bug. I just kept playing rigght no I'm back at Red Ranks again. I'm not even trying to win it just happens, even though all I'm doing is collecting Chinese lootboxes with a junk Plunderer Appraisal Ace in the Hole build.

I'm so sick of survivors bellyaching about how bad Solo Q is and how they're stuck with bad teammates all the time and how they can't show off ther skills because of it yada yada. Man up and grow some accountability for your performance in the game. If you are bad you will die. If you are good you will escape. Stop blaming the killer or your teammates for not being able to do well in the game.

This isn't aimed specifically at you SocialDistomancy more at LoopeduntilDaylight actually. His complaints are exactly the problem with the survivor population of this game. Survivors refusing to take responsibility for themselves and blaming everything on everything else except themselves.

If thats the case that kind of placement is dumb as hell and has no place in DBD. I depipped about 3 games last night. The killers aren't even always that much better at high rank, they just bring a better loadout.

Game 1 - iri head huntress and survivors hook suicides

Game 2 - lost altruism because the killer hard camped the basement and wouldn't let anyone get a rescue. I died on 1st hook. Got no chase points because one of the survivors literally camped and bodyblocked the pallet I was running towards. Don't think it was intentional though as this player was so new they had been walking around all game and not touhcing gens.

Game 3 - another game with hard camping and hook suicides

So the game thinks "boy this person isn't pipping they must really be trash better stick them with the rank 20s" but how on earth am I meant to do better?

Its interesting how despite this the game keeps putting me against red rank killers with the most try hard builds. Every killer had at least 1 purple/iri add on.

It's actually better to be stuck in Rank 20.

The games are a lot easier down there. Believe it or not killers are not as good at Rank 20 as they are at Rank 1. Imagine that.

if you want to do good, it's better to be down there. You'll get potato teammates too, but believe me if you are actually good at the gaming you will run circles around killers at that rank. You will definitely "do good" and can even carry your team. I have friends who sometimes ask me to SWF with them. We do a 4-man but they are absolute potatoes (rank 20s). So when we go into a game the killer is also around that rank.

I carry the entire game for them. When I play with them we usually all escape. When I don't they usually all die.

Just played a couple of matches as a red rank. Got matched up with some greens and purples one match which were decent against a level 2 nurse so whatever. Second match got greens and purples again which were struggling a bit more against a rank 1 Freddy we all got killed. Third match against huntress I'm rank 3 my team mates are two level 19s and a level 20 killer was 11. I managed to pull of a nice misdirection and get the hatch out. Only got 3 gens done that match and all by me solo for 90% of the time. One killed herself on hook.

Even playing as killer I'm currently rank 8 I'll go against either all red ranks or get three 16+ survivors.

I have crossplay turned on and it's a bit late but 9 team mates as survivor and not another red ranked survivor? What's up with this.

It's not "all of a sudden" this is how it's been for years.
