You should report this in the bug report section and see if many people have the same problem.
I know it sounds selfish but I’d recommend switching to a new console. it’s not gonna get better with ps4 and Xbox one.
It's fine. I am just unable to switch atm.
-
I can tell you from first hand nothing bad happened for me when I did it.
Zero issues.
-
Slugging is great. I am a killer main now ggs.
-
Just run clou, distressing and sloppy every game like most.
-
Ok I change my mind.
-
People who say it works consistently are not being honest. Timing is irrelevant sometimes and it is not because I am console when it happens to pc survs also.
Sometimes it doesn't proc even when you do it too early.

Never saw you draw myers so nah, I don't believe you.

Not really.

The thing is,skill of using DH is a surv side thing and killer doesn't have a impact on it.
Killer can't really play around the junkyness of DH yet it can punish you so hard that killer has to avoid risk and wait for DH.
Its really annoying for killer with power that is hard to wait to attack like Oni,Hillbilly.
Spirit is also a good example.
She can lunge longer with her power, but because you can't see surv while using power, alot of time u get DH.
Its really unsutisfying to stop using power behind surv and wait.
You can bait it out sometimes, it doesn't really work on reaction because of the delay. And it is really inconsistent.
Like I said in my first post in this thread, try using it and see for yourself.

Evil dies tonight!

Based ace.

Still don't care.

Why are long killer q's better than long surv q's?

Think back to before the DC penalty was added. How many games had a meaningful DC? 1 in 3, for me.
Think to right now, how many games have a DC, suicide, AFK or throwing player in them? Probably about the same, for me.
I'll even concede that it will probably get worse after you turn them off, for a bit. That doesn't change the fact that the system doesn't work.
Think back to when dc penalties got turned off after it became a thing for a while.
How do you rate you experience during that time? Remember all the threads complaining about it?

Do you not already get people DC'ing or giving up in most Solo Q games?
Do you want it increased tenfold so it becomes even better?
-
Nah it is better to exaggerate everything and throw tantrums after every change announcements.
It keeps the community fed.

I am well on record as being vehemently opposed to ditching the DC penalty, and I am very much against special treatment, but I can see a case for eliminating the DC penalty for content creators, because they are disproportionately affected by cheaters. Players with high visibility should be whitelisted.
Yes, everyone experiences cheating in some way shape or form, but most of us only really feel a fraction of what streamers do, and much less "hostage taking", which is the only form of cheating that would be addressed by getting rid of the penalty.
This is a really difficult situation to address. On its face, ditching the DC penalty seems like an obvious way to address one of the symptoms of the cheating disease, but it will exacerbate an issue that is far more prevalent (chronic disconnectors).
What's to be done? I don't know, but one thing I am sure of is that replacing one problem by making a bigger one worse is not the play.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3201965#Comment_3201965
More often than that for me. Like one of every three games I play has a DC or obvious suicide on hook that all but ruins the game.
Put it in people's heads that they can DC freely because of cheating, they'll start seeing it everywhere anytime something doesn't go their way. Everyone will be "moving a little too fast", "getting gens done a little too quick", etc. Everything will becomes a justification to bail, and those who are already prone to it will do it without compunction.
It would get completely out of hand, as it's nearly to that point already. It'd be a match shopping meta.
I can agree with that.

Why not?
Do you think the DC penalty is making people stay in the game?
Because I would rather take a cheater once or twice a week than experience solo q with penalties off again.
-
No thanks.
-
I start with the closest if no corrupt. Then I am either mindful or not too much.
Sue me.
-
Winning against a plague and keeping my medkit?
-
They "balance" around killrates. And that is all I think.
-
I slugged a cheater once then they perma blinded me.
Gg ez baby killa.
-
Tombstone piece you are safe at least.
-
How much is the ransom?
-
I already know why you made an account.
-
I actually think dh destroys me as much as it helps me.
If it doesn't work and you made a play thinking it would, you just commited suicide.
I think some killers only focus on the annoying part when it works but probably don't even know when it didn't.
For me it works like 50% of the time atm.
-
I don't see how woo is problematic.
It is useful yeah but it won't turn you into god. Knowing where windows and pallets are doesn't mean killers can't get you.

So you'd tunnel at 4/5 gens because people didnt tell you gg? Ok then.
Why would someone stay in the lobby after dying at 4/5 gens just to tell you gg in the end when they can go to another match and hope they dont get tunneled again.
I play the most fair I can. Play solo q, don't use meta perks, when I play swf we basically just meme and send ourselves to saloon to serve drinks to the killer.
I don't insult people in end game chat. Yet, just the other day a well known streamer tunneled me at 5 gens with 3 Bloody Party Streamers on because he got offended that I was pre dropping. I died with 8k points, and waste a blood points offering. Are you gonna tell me he did that because I was toxic? I was in a duo with @Shaped and they can confirm I was not.
And this is not a 1 time occurrence, this has became way more common, specially lately.
Yeah and he wouldn't detach no matter what me an other two people did to try to stop it.
Also can confirm marigoria is not toxic and he also gives killers free kills if they did poorly.
I am not saying tunneling is toxic in general but I don't see why it was neccessary to tunnel one person out from the start when it was not even that effective. It ended up with 2k.
-
Why so serious?

Having a daily reset would be useless, because there's no way anyone can earn enough shards within 24 hours (unless you play 24 hours a day, maybe?)
I do like the idea of not having base game character perks in the shrine, though.
Yeah but at least it's rotating more often so you can save for ones you want.
I got all the crucial perks for one of my friends during fifth year anniversary. Although they did gifted shards then as well. Still it would take months (if that) to get those with weekly rotation.
-
We need daily reset at this point.
You need to wait for eternity until the perks you want are in there so you are forced to buy characters you wont play unfortunately.

Myers was released when survivors were insanely stronger. Despite survivors being nerfed over and over until they can barely run, killers like Myers have remained the same. His addon used to be difficult to pull off because survivors actually had plenty of pallets, darker maps, actually working perks that helped with survival.
Myer's addon that allows ability to kill is equivalent to the then-released brand new part where you could finish a complete gen is one tap. Myers needs to be nerfed. An insta-down killer along with ability to bypass 2 full hook phases is the best example of P2W I have ever seen.
If a survivor had something this strong it would have already been dealt with.
Of course Laurie would say that.
-
Try using it and you'll see why it doesn't need nerfs.
-
No.
-
Toxic is when they don't let you win.
