I haven't loaded in since update yet but was planning on later today. I was hoping since this patch was mainly bug fixes that maybe performance wouldn't get worse. Of course it does get worse though and right before the Halloween event... Always the patch before the Halloween event starts...
Its not too bad but expect short freezes like always.
I'm gonna play anyways.

Anyone getting more hiccups (short freezes) now?
Status icons take forever to load and when some of them pop up my game freezes more often than before.
Even using deliverance makes me lose distance because of it.
They always have to break something with updates don't they. Like it wasn't enough already.

I embraced the chaos. I even bm myself when I feel like it. I just care about myself which is the best thing to do in community like this.
There is no point in being "nice" during a match. I just don't resort to messaging people outside of the game. I just play the game however I want now and couldn't care less about anything.
Why should I? And of course I am fine with others doing what they want before you ask.

Not going to lie, 3s DS sucks. If you are anything with range or speed, you don't care. And even if you are Trapper, it's not a bad thing.
It's somehow funny that fist DS was 5s because Enduring effected it, then after that got removed, they nerfed to 3s because "it was enough" before realising that survivors don't get away in that time because of stagger when they get free. So they put it again to 5s ony to nerf it back to 3s.
Sometimes I wonder if the Devs read their own patch notes. 🙄
Did being silent stopped killers going for iw survs pre nerf?
Neither does now if they have otr. If they want you out you are out.

Vsing freddy reminds me of release nemmy a little bit. Not quite but still, those hiccups while entering a dream world especially when you get hit hinder you quite a bit. Or maybe its worse when you loop but you freeze and get hit or downed. Super fair lol.
Luckily barely anyone plays him.

Tunneling before a gen even popped is a miserable experience for surv regardless if you are the one tunneled or someone else.
Really doubt anyone enjoys it if the killer is capable of doing it.

There was no genrushing.
If gen was 1% done it is genrushing and should be dealt with. The only proper response is tunneling at 5 gens.

Yeah I gave up on that perk.
Hiccups also occur during other stuff, most noticeably during hooking/unhooking. Some killer powers, like going into dream world as surv cause short freezes for me as well.
Recently, rpd is sometimes like a slideshow for me. I struggle to even hit skillchecks there because of the delay and frame skipping.
I wouldn't say game is unplayable for the most part like it was during the first re chapter release, but it definitely is a handicap playing dbd on old gen with crossplay on.

BHVR has made changes catered to small minorities that play this game before. Fog Whisperers, Old Gen Console Players, Switch Players, Streamers, Colorblind players.
My game still freezing on old gen when certain things happen in the game.
They only improved a bit what they destroyed during nemesis release.

I am not new to survivor nor killer. I just take breaks.

This wasn't the case on rpd before so I was curious why is it like this atm.
I am fine with ocassional freezes but rpd is unplayable for me atm.
