That's like the plague challenge where you had to hit 2 survivors with one stream of red puke

I just wait to the day hackers can hijack accounts to a degree where they can disable your DLC or something.
It's only a matter of time until cheaters find a way to ban you. Imagine having to completely start over

Are you saying devs should give all Survivors a radio, to be able to communicate right off the bat? Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for a survivor to tell another survivor on the opposite side of map. Of course, SWF's on discord have no problem with this.
Lore wise I guess give survivors walkie talkies I don't know
-
They could just add coms to the game or have premade messages that the whole team can see.
Example killer is camping do gens
-
High mmr is mainly nurse because most of killer cast can't compete at the highest level.
Until more of the killer cast have a chance at high mmr I believe nurse is fine.
Also a killer shouldn't be nerfed because of a map. Instead they should look at the map and add more los blockers
-
I think just separating the bottles to not share the same amount might be enough
-
They could make cruel limits map wide and people still wouldn't run it.
It's a very map dependent perk where some maps it's useless.
-
Boon reverse ruin
Repairs gens at 200% in boon range

There was a vid on youtube that I'm trying to find again for this thread, where a guy essentially interviews the creator of a well known/popular hack that you see most using. Why they do it, how to counter it, how they get into targetted specific people's lobbies everytime (like streamers, despite covering the screen, putting a delay on, changing your name, etc).
He explains the anti-cheat DbD uses, and also why the report system is broken and doesn't work. Most hackers have multiple accounts and can even have their accounts not be banned for months. There's also a well known website that sells Steam accounts with DbD attached to it, for anywhere between $2-10. So even if they do get banned, they simply get a new account and continue onwards.
The ultimate reason they created these hacks and now they run rampant is because they want to force BHVR to actually do something about this, and until then, they will continue to improve the hacks, spread the hacks. If BHVR doesn't do anything about it, then thats their fault and the hackers couldn't care less (keep in mind this is an interview with the creator of the hack). So this is just his stance and why he created it for DbD.
If I find the video, I will link it here. It explains a lot (if I'm allowed).
I think the video you are talking about shows screen shots of the cheating site so idk if that would be against the rules if you post it

That is just a basic part of the game that would be too easy of a way to regain tokens. It would mean personal aura blocking, and occasional scratch mark hiding, for the entire trial.
What about being in a chase for x amount of time.
-
@GoshJosh said:
I’m not really sure you can change Distortion without breaking it. Infinite aura blocking is very powerful. You’re negating a host of killer perks (and add-ons) with just one of yours. That’s why there’s a lot of complaints about Shadow Step.
They could make the requirements for getting back a token completing a gen or unhooking

rocket launcher, hands down.
You beat me to it
-
Hex plaything does the same thing. It disappears when the survivor dies.
-
The cheater problem isn't going to go away until behavior goes after the sites people can buy cheats from.
You can just buy a new account after being banned for like $5.

Remember that time Mathieu Cote got baited into playing one match in his life and it resulted in sweeping changes to flashlights and significant buffs to Hag after he got called a noob killer by instablinding Koreans? That alone revealed just how little they play their own game.
Has anyone from behavior streamed a match as killer against a swf since then
-
We finally got our old lady survivor
-
That's why they named him the trickster. You were tricked into buying him.
-
It just needs another way to get tokens. Like hooks but then cap the max number of tokens
-
Add this and make it easier to report cheaters
-
He just feels awkward to play and survivors just run before you are even close because of his 32m tr + how slow you are.

Direct counter to boons she will be good until the nerf to her because everyone will start playing her because of said strength.
I expect soon to hear posts about her being too strong. Just give it some time
-
@Yatol said:
no endorsing would be them giving links to places where hacks can be found
*cough*escape from tarcov*cough*Other game companies go after sites that sell cheats but behavior doesn't seem to care.
As long as cheaters can keep buying new accounts from these sites that sell cheats the problem will never go away
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Really bad without penalty my man, we need it. They've been talking about the auto-ban in the last anniversary stream but no more news since
Even with an auto ban they would still need people to report the cheater and some of them you can't report because they can hide their name.
Even if they get banned they will just buy a new account for less than $5 and do it again
-
@Junylar said:
You are supposed to endure cheaters for as long as they wish you to stay in their game. The DC penalty is there for a reason.
Imagine if you had a cheater that was stalking you. They could just wait out your DC penalty and do it again. It's so easy for cheaters to do this too because some can get a list of who's in the queue waiting for a match.

Oh, yeah so much fun.
He is not worst killer. He still has good 1v1 and he still can use zoning.
Problem of most is that it just sucks to play as him and it's not fun anymore.
99% of FPS players played him for his quick-scope and tried to go for fancy shots, that was why he was unique and fun to play for us. There is no reason to play him now without it, unless you like his hat.
You can't even try to shoot through holes in walls anymore. It just takes too long to aim

Devs probably won't do that since the Killer just has to interact with the totem for a few seconds. I don't think Boons need insane amounts of nerfs, just a few tweaks to prevent spamming and near-total map coverage.
They could give the killer the option to snuff or destroy the totem. That way the killer can keep the totem if they want for plaything or noed

Best sabo build
Mettle of man, no mither, breakout, and tenacity + Alex's toolbox
-
Bill Bill Bill Bill
-
It forces you to commit to chases you should break from or else it's as if the chase never happened.
-
The reason the twins are ranked so high is that they are very good at slugging and camping.

Math:
A Commodious with Spool and Scraps is 52 charges worth of +50% increased repair speed. On its own, that means you get to repair one generator in 52 / 1.5 = 34.6 + 28 = 62.6 seconds - you save ~17 seconds.
If you use Built To Last once with this toolbox, you get another 51.48 charges out of it, for a total of 103.48 charges. This lets you repair one entire generator in 53.3 seconds, saving 26.6s, as well as 7.8 seconds on a secondary generator repair with the charges left over. A total time saving in generator repairs of 34.4 seconds. Since you already save 17s with the toolbox itself however, and spend 12 seconds in a locker for BTL, the actual on-paper time saving here is only 5.4 seconds, and that's of course not even accounting for the time spent going to and from the locker as well as going in and out of it.
If you use BTL another time, you go up to a total of 137.8 charges. That is again one entire generator in 53.3 seconds, and then a second one in 60.7s, saving a total of 45.9s. Again, you save 17s at base, and this time you have spent 24s in lockers. The on-paper saving is now only 4.9 seconds, again not accounting for now twice the time spent travelled to and from and in and out of lockers.
And using BTL a third time comes out to 154.96 charges, a time saving on two gens of 51.6s. At this point, you have spent 36s in lockers, which added to the 17s base time saving of the Commodious means now you have actually wasted 2 seconds using BTL even just on paper.
Conclusion:
BTL is not worth it in terms of pure time efficiency. Even if we ignore the time it takes to go to lockers and back to generators and the animation time of entering and exiting them (considerable time investments), the BTL Commodious combo at best saves 5.4 seconds if you use BTL once, while at worst actually costing you 2 seconds if you use it three times.
If we add Streetwise into the mix the numbers do improve, but they still don't improve enough to make up even for just the enter and exit locker animation times, let alone the time spent traversing the map to and from lockers. Not only that, but the time saving here would only matter if you actually do get to repair at least 2 generators from 0 to 100%, which is of course not at all a given. You are also spending 2 perk slots as well as an item on this, forgoing other strong perks and items the "time saving" impact of which cannot be easily quantified (think of how much generator time a Decsivie Strike or flashlight save can translate into for instance, because rather than being able to push other survivors off of gens while having one on a hook, now they have to chase that survivor).
I don't think the BTL toolbox combo is an issue, and Streetwise is if anything necessary to make this combo at all worthwhile in a solo scenario. What I do however think is an issue is a coordinated team abusing this combo, with multiple toolboxes and multiple Streetwise, not least because Streetwise stacks with other instances of itself. If you have a group with 4 toolboxes, 4 Streetwise and 4 Built To Last, that promises to be ridiculous. Throw in some Prove Thyselfs and perhaps Brand New Parts and you actually get something that deserves to be complained about as a "gen rush". That is one of various reasons why I think there should be perk and item limitations for SWF groups. Any perk and item should only be able to be equipped once in a given SWF group.
If you run this combo with prove thyself in a swf it is broken. You can finish all the gens in less than 2 minutes
-
He is the same as any adept achievement with a one shot killer. You can only use the one shot a few times or you won't get higher than gold in chase emblem
-
I don't think it's strong enough to be a hex now. Everyone before ran it for the notification not the longer cleanse speed
-
@YuisPinkBob said:
Uh no. Killers do not need 5 perks.
Lol might as well make it 16 to match the survivors

Sounds like a very strong anti slug combo if it's intended

Wouldn't Nurse's calling be a good counter to Circle of healing? When your in the range of their auras, you'll also hear the totem nearby
Not if they run shadow step with it

Undetectable is pretty useless on demo because of how loud his footsteps are.

Either a bug, some sort of bizarre latency issue, or lagswitching if you ask me. Considering lagswitchers could make themselves impossible to hook I wouldn't be surprised if it could be used to "reject" a DS stun ever happening as well.
I'd report it as a bug either way, as it's 100% unintended behavior. They already changed the DS skillcheck timing / DS itself / both?? once to prevent people right under hooks from being possible to hook before their DS went through.
The blight clearly knew what he was doing so I would assume a lag switch but I still want to test this and see if it's a bug
-
It depends sometimes I will have killers drop chase when they see I have a bunch of strong loops chained together or some don't care and chase me through them losing a few gens.
-
Part of it is because he's bugged. The timing of putting down his knife is off from the animation
-
Either making it work for both hook states or work on other survivors like kindred would be a nice buff
-
I'll expect to see nerf trapper posts soon too. Then he will get some add-ons nerfed
-
It would be a nice buff but will do nothing to zombies that are stuck
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Nope, it's not a bug.
It is a bug or you would never be able to solve the box
-
@Brokenbones said:
Nah they fixed this in one of the recent hotfixes
The chains stop when you start solving the box and after you've endured the first three random chains I think? Deactivating the chains by holding m1 puts them on a cooldown which is then when you can activate the solve interaction which permanently pauses them
Then the bug is back because I had it happen last night
-
@R1ch4rd_N1x0n said:
This is not a bug, but rather a stupid feature that needs changed.
It is a bug because chains are supposed to stop spawning when you start solving the box
-
Plague was so much better before dedicated servers since your puke was off your connection.
If they could fix the hit box problem her play rate would definitely go up
-
The moment the other survivors see my mettle of man + no mither they would leave
-
@GannTM said:
It’s probably still Spirit. Nurse and Blight just aren’t designed to play on controller.
Sure it's easier on PC but it's not like nurse/ blight are unplayable on console.
I played a game yesterday as nurse against four survivors on a different system and 4k on Hawkins

Likely addon overhaul and adjustments to his reveal mechanic.
I don't see them touching anything else as crouching is fine as it is and there's nothing wrong with his power on a functional level.
Can't wait for them to give him some meme add-on that just gives you bp instead of downing marked survivors
