You are winning %90 of games and you are calling her balanced and fair! Thanks for info.
Before COH I was able to constantly 3/4k with legion. So would that mean legion is very strong.

Use your mind and eventually you will understand why.
If nurse never existed in this game you honestly think they would buff aura and exposed perks. People still complain on the forms about bbq having a 4 second aura reveal. They buffed hex retribution from 10secs to 15secs and didn't change nurse.
Nurse definitely isn't the reason stopping the devs from buffing perks and make map changes

@Pulsar has been a primary Killer-player for ever. If he's saying there's an issue there's an issue. In fact, I'm pretty sure everyone on this board knows that Nurse is seriously broken. Saying she isn't is just dishonest.
Survivors are consistently suiciding when they get nurses. I guess we can leave her as is and let everyone just suicide to her if that's what you want.
Nurse has counter play. Losing los and unpredictable movement is how you counter nurse.
I believe basic kit nurse is balanced. If a nurse makes the wrong read when a survivor uses a los blocker, the survivor makes distance on the nurse.

nurse needs a complete rework. She’s unhealthy for the game. She makes it significantly harder to balance maps and perks. It’s up to the devs to think of how to rework her, not us.
I don't think I've ever heard a quote from a dev saying that nurse prevents them from buffing perks and balancing maps.

Regarding your comment regarding lockers, even if you time your exit millisecond perfect, you literally only get about 5 metres distance (not a lot)
Using lockers against nurse is the same as using lockers against a bubba. It's more of a last resort thing

But perks will still be stuck in their mediocre state. Nurse holds other killers back in regards to strong perks. Take Starstruck for example, they could buff the 30 second duration up to 60 seconds...if Nurse didn't exist. Her sheer strength prevents the devs from making strong perks because if they do, Nurse would literally be an unbeatable killer. She is holding the game back from being nearly as good as it has the potential to be in regards to killer gameplay.
Even if nurse wasn't in the game I doubt they would buff perks like that. Remember we have perks like dragon's grip with very long cool downs.
They also buffed hex retribution to 15 seconds even though nurse is in the game. If the devs viewed nurse as a problem wouldn't they just rework her. I doubt nurse is what holds the devs back from buffing aura perks and exposed perks.

There's not a way to fix it without totally gutting Nurse.
She has the ability to ignore virtually every defence a Survivor has. There's not really any way to balance that.
I like that you don't loop a nurse the same as the rest of the killer roster.
You counter nurse by losing los and being unpredictable with your movement.
Everyone likes to say that a top percent nurse makes no mistakes but that is not true. If you watch videos of the best nurse players you will see they have to abandon chases too.

See, wouldn't know because I'm on Xbox Series X and when I report, all I get is a button. Can't even type in anything for my report like PC players can. I'd report more often if the report function worked better.
I think Mandy or someone else on the forms said since you can't get the cheaters steam ID to just type the their username if you are on another platform
-
@Araphex said:
Higher MMR, more cheaters. You get used to the report function eventually, or you just give up reporting it like I did. The game does need a better system to detect cheaters. Steam also needs a better system as well since they are all steam accounts.
Some are on the windows store and Epic

That works against a mediocre Nurse. Getting good with her will beat 95 % of all teams. She is a comp Killer within a casual game.
She might be balanced and beatable against top sweat squads but a truly (good) Nurse will beat any team which aren't top squads.
But balancing only around the 0.1 % isn't excactly practical.
It works against even the best nurses. Like I said before if you watch videos of nurse at the highest level they still can get out played.
To be fair on the other side of the spectrum a top level swf will win 95% of their games too.

I will suicide on hook against nurses no matter what, her counterplay is boring and absent at high mmr and even if i outplay her for several minutes i will get mad eventually at my teammates going down in 10seconds/not doing gens and throwing the game, so better dont get mad in the first place and don't even try against a killer that is broken and very few people like me can outplay
That is just having bad teammates in solo queue. I've had teammates with full meta perks go down in 10 seconds against every killer.

She literally has directional phasing. And strong pallets beat her.
She has stupid Add-ons, but I talk about Spirit, not her Add-ons. Current Spirit is balanced, has counterplay, can be mindgamed and even looped. Once she uses her power she is a 4.4 Killer.
Nurse is fundementally broken because she ignores all kind of ressources Survivors have. Pallets, Windows and any kind of play is unreliable against a good Nurse.
You can still loop Blight and Spirt as they are unable to ignore Survivor's ressources, that's why they are not fundementally broken and not because they move fast. With that logic, Billy must be broken than as well.
The counter play is using Los blockers and being unpredictable with your movement.
Everyone seems to just want to give up when they go against a good nurse. I've beaten good nurses with infectious fright and star struck.
If you are having trouble going against nurse watch videos of high level survivors vsing good nurses. Even the best nurses in the game have to sometimes abandon a chase.
-
The dh for distance is uncounterable. If the perk just gave you i frames then you would need to time it correctly, which would require skill to use.
-
COB + DG isn't a bad combo. The gen regresses for 30s or they get hit with exposed
-
They would have to tone down the hellhounds a bit since they were always very aggressive when chasing you.
-
I think they just need to rework the perk to do something else.

messing with dw could create some abusable situations, I think... but incapacitated is interesting, maybe it could be an addon
The reason why I think mending should be changed is right now you can work on a gen until your mending meter is almost empty then mend.
-
Imo I think legion just needs a few changes like removing the basic attack cool down and reducing the fatigue cool down. Then they need to make the mending timer go down while mending so people can't work on a gen with dw or make dw give the incapacitated status.
COH needs to be changed too. COH makes legion powerless

As a Bubba main, for over 3 years (2018)... I want to say that I agree about his camping potential to be changed or nerfed.
It honestly sucks as my main killer is used for such purposes and a bare minimun of players actually give a ######### about him to learn how to play "correctly". A prototype for anti-camping is in the development stage as BHVR revealed in the last QnA stream.
I will anyway support a slight power change to Leatherface so players are forced to learn how to play him, it just sucks that even after his buff, people still don't even try to play him, ######### his entire reputation and whoever tries to play him good and then speaks about him is turned as a meme. It hurts, I support for a change
The devs could gut bubba completely and the people that use him to face camp will just use another killer. What's stopping people to switch from bubba to billy or to a 99 stalk Myers
-
Imo basic kit nurse is balanced. It's only when you go against double range or recharge is when it becomes Bs.
I've played against good nurse players with infectious fright and star struck. People just forget how to counter these perks. Ohh nurse is trying to slug everyone then stop grouping up and letting her.
Los blockers is how you beat a good nurse. As well as being unpredictable with your movement.
You can't just run in a straight line and say nurse caught up to me nurse op.

The problem is they are lumping all survivors into that 50% win rate as a whole. They are essentially forcing killers to lose no matter how skilled they are at the upper tiers so people that struggle to hold m1 on a gen can win 50% of the time.
Then again.. kills = skill so basement bubba away with noed and end game perks.
That's why they need to acknowledge the skill gap between low and high mmr. The 50% win rate can't be between all ranks, thus why killers like nurse are so low.
As far as kills/ escapes being the only way to move up in mmr. Then should just abandon that and just use pips. This way if you run the killer the whole game but die to like noed you don't go down in mmr
-
I've beat a 3 gen on azarovs. You and another survivor work on separate gens. The killer can only chase one at a time and gens regress 4 times slower than repair Speed
-
There needs to be a reward for hitting multiple survivors with one frenzy. Maybe for each survivor hit you increase your movement speed. Or after you have inflicted dw 4 times with the same ff, you can down injured survivors
-
@danielmaster87 said:
Coup De Grace and Fire Up. Why are they based on you losing gens?
Distortion. Why does it have tokens you can never get back?
Distortion should give back tokens after being in a chase for x amount of time. This way someone can't just use it to hide from the killer the whole game
-
It's not very good because when a survivor is unhooked it's going to reveal 2 survivors by the hook

Thrill Of The Hunt and Plaything are good counters for Boons. Maybe even Haunted Grounds because it spawns 2 Hex Totems
It's just ironic that the only perks killers have to counter boons are hex perks
-
They could make it so if you heal yourself it's at self-care speed but if you heal other survivors in the radius then you get the bonus healing speed.
This way if they run off to heal themselves they waste a lot of time and if they want the bonus healing speed that means 2 less survivors on gens
-
The devs would never change all the meta perks because that's how they balance the game... With perks. They also believe camping is a strategy.
If it was up to me I would make kindred base kit, add some way of communicating in solo que, and have it so if a killer is within 8m of a hook for more than 15 seconds and there is not a survivor within 25m of the hook then the hooked survivor moves across the map or the timer stops.
For killer at low mmr there isn't much of a problem with getting hooks/ kills with any killer but at high mmr it's the opposite. I would make it so at a certain level of mmr survivors get a side objective. This way they don't need to extend gen times since it would just get boring. This would help with the problem of only a few killers being viable.
-
Noed isn't going to get changed because most of the devs can't play killer without it
-
They just need to give Freddy an add-on that gives both snares and fake pallets
-
It works I've used it. It's funny watching the reaction of the person you heal go oh you are healthy too
-
I rather overcharge be changed so survivors can't "walk away with the skill check" This way it would be a perk to prevent gen tapping.
-
This would prevent hour long games. From locker jockeys to body blocking
-

Even Nemesis can be great. M2 and grabs dont consume tokens.
Such as nemesis is great with save the best as you can go with m2 only on obsession
Nemesis M2 doesn't consume pwyf stacks? Or were you only talking about save the best for last?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Well, myers with tombstone.
Other than that Leatherface because his chainsaw will benefit from increased speed and he does the most damage overall which will mean he can conserve tokens the best.
Each time you use a token for your chainsaw it consumes a stack of pwyf. So it's not good unless you use his addon that uses all the charges for his saw

If you're being disconnected from your connection dropping from a 0.1 second interruption, please create a bug report and we'll look into it further. The game gives you a few seconds to reconnect before it boots you from the match, just like you've suggested.

I find it hilarious that you can pull up a good number of CoD streamers who spectate, see a cheater, report them, and within the match they are banned. Yet in DBD you can literally stream yourself cheating and nothing happens.
It's just wild!
It's only a matter of time until cheaters start advertising their cheats on the forms
-
I'm pretty sure blessing a hex takes 24 seconds when breaking takes 14. So if you had to cleanse the hex first it would still take about the same amount of time as just blessing it.
With just blessing if you interupt them then they must start over but if you had to cleanse first then it wouldn't really matter since you lost your hex
-
Plague
You can consume corrupt fountains from a 40m range but your corrupt purge gets cut in half.

He has no counter. You can't do crap against good blight and he needs nerfs. Strongest killer besides nurse? Nerf her too so we finally have somewhat balanced killer roster
Have you ever played as blight or nurse?
Playing both sides will show you the strengths and weaknesses of every killer
-
DS could be 4.6 now after his nerf but plague should not be 4.4 since it's the survivors that give plague her power. Even less people would cleanse against her making her a 4.4 m1 killer

The amount of killers using these "subtle" speedhacks for extra 2-3 % move speed (like running with Bloodlust 3 without actual Bloodlust) and wallhacks (they always know where you are without aura-reading perks) is enormous, at least on EU servers. It's funny that you can't even properly report those, because you can't prove it was an actual wallhack and not just their "intuition", even if you record it.
There are only a few killers with add-ons that can prove a survivor has wallhacks. Like clown with the yellow gas aura add-on and Myers with the scratched mirror. It's very difficult to prove wallhacks for killer.
At least survivor has OoO that can be used as proof.
