It's great, you can still get value out of it. It's 25% gen regression btw at its highest level.

My mistake. I thought it was bumped from 15 to 20

  • Knock out is the key component to my Pinhead build. No touchy, plz

  • Knight: Dried Horsemeat and Call to Arms.

I refuse to play Knight without either

  • Also, give him an iri add on that changed the chained spear into an actual bullet that can hit from across the map, but make it take 3-4 times longer to reload. It would encourage a sniping playstyle while also rewarding accuracy

  • Balanced. Legion is designed from the ground up to keep survivor injured. IF you decided to stay injured, he's a basic m1 killer.

  • When the killer gets a down very early, and you can't see the aura of the downed survivor on the map

  • Because she has to put in a lot of work to get the same results as killers who are easier to play

  • @TigerSnake said:

They give survivors EXACTLY what they want by obliterating gen kick meta, but it's still not enough for them. Lmao I can't.

Plus we getting the chase based meta survivors always said they wanted, but they don’t want to lose strong healing in the process. You can’t have a chase meta with strong heals. It’s one or the other.

  • @ironblade said:

Wesker, Blight, Nurse, they all have a common theme; win the game easy mode. Hillbilly doesn't count with all the nerfs he's gotten. Meanwhile killers that have no mobility in their kit will suffer and lose more than mobility killers. 3 gens will blow up in your face. Nemesis, trapper, any m1 killer with no mobility will crumble even killers with teleportation like Sadako, Freddy or Dredge.

So, why don't you give mobility to the weaker killers? Make nemesis run, give Trapper bonus speed when picking up/setting up traps, whatever.

I've always been surprised that Nemesis did't have a sprint ability somewhere in his kit. Maybe give him a blight charge token every time he gets a hook. I mean, it's Nemesis! He runs!

  • Survivors wanted a chase meta, but a chase meta can't work when healing is as powerful as it currently is. Healing needed to be kicked down a peg. Not just COH, which is getting the change it should have launched with, but healing as a whole.

  • Survivors wanted a chase based mate. This is the price for a chase based meta.

  • The siblings have lobby dialogue like the Resident Evil characters do, but only with each other.

  • We've really got to the point where survivors want Plague nerfed because she's "too boring to go against".

    That says it all, really

  • Sure, as long as shattered hope becomes basekit, or killers can relight their hexes

  • Survivors wanted a chase based meta. But you can’t have that when healing is as strong as it was.

  • The Devs will probably lower the nerf from 24 to 20 after the PTB

    It's a children's game.

It attracts some of the worst people. When there was even a possibility that the next chapter was FNAF, the Forums and Reddit were flooded with spam posts and if you disagreed, woah boy get ready for some absolutely toxic vitriol.

    The creator.

FNAF for the anniversary, plz. It's the undisputed most requested DBD chapter of all time (only F13 comes even remotely close), and the people who want it far out weigh those who don't, by leaps and bounds, to the point of being comical.

Those "children" who grew up with FNAF are adults now, and we see Springtrap as an icon of video game horror. Its laughable to think he doesn't have a place in the video game hall of fame that is Dead by Daylight. And thats not including the fact that FNAF's story is far from kid friendly. Its the stuff of nightmares

I have to be honest, I look at people who think FNAF is for children the same way I look at someone who just said "My wallet tastes good."

In my opinion, I feel that BHVR making the win Conditions for both sides as escapes and kills should be changed.

Chases are more fun for survivors. Getting more hooks as killer makes you feel good as it shows your doing well in the chases.

Make the game more about hooks and chases / helping your team. I feel that while it would not take away camping, tunneling, gen rushing completely. I do feel It would help make the game more fun.

Remember, win and lose with dignity.

For this to work, long chases would need to become a thing of the past, because no killer is going to go into an extended chase if two gens are going to pop because of it. This would require less safe pallets, and more mind gameable loops. In a 1v1 situation, the survivor should always be at the disadvantage. Otherwise, the killer isn't the power role, but instead an equal in that chase

They give you a propeller beanie if you make a purchase with a time limit. Why do they keep doing this?

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fr2JGUmWIAszXfR?format=jpg&name=medium

Here's a better question: Who would buy this? It's a reskin of a hat already in the game, but with a propeller. This is just lazy design

  • We have dream pallets. I want dream totems, chests, and generators

  • I never use map of the realm. That being said, I absolutely refuse to play Knight without Call to Arms and Dried Horsemeat.

You know how BHVR posted the photo on Twitter showing the new solo q survivor icons before they released them on the PTB, well the photo also had a survivor being chased by one of the knight's guards and was on eyrie of crows, foreshadowing changes for knight and eyrie. Well, the video for the new bloodweb system shows the hillbilly bloodweb, so I think this is BHVR hinting at hillbilly changes coming in the next PTB.

    Thoughts?

Hillbilly? Jeez, how many times are The Twins going to be skipped over?

I'll keep it simple and say I'm running Lithe at tier three the exhaustion lasts about 40 seconds but Vigil takes 30% off...how many seconds is that?

10 percent of 40 is 4 seconds, 20 percent is 8 seconds, and 30 percent is 12 seconds

  • So you want everyone to gain old Object of Obsession while the killer is in chase EXCEPT the killer???

    Wow. Just...wow.

    What would you prefer?

I think we all know he desperately needs love the most from all killers in the game besides Twins.

Imagine old Freddy with the Teleport-Ability, no more Snares/Pallets and an addon-pass.

I kinda love the old pill bottle being completely invisible during Dream Transition.

The only issue with OG Freddy is: Failed Skillchecks woke u up.

I would rather go for Wake-Up-Action + Alarm Clocks, therefore no failed SC-Waking up.

Lets say a mixture of both Freddy-Version (same with addons. Some of the old + some of the new)

    My Freddy (mixture).

    Ability: Dream-Transition like OG-Freddy

    Special Ability: Dream Projection

Addons: Paint Brush, Class Photo, Nancys Masterpiece/Sketch stay the same. All other receive reworks (especially Old Pill Bottle and old Dream Transition reduced time). NO forever Freddy of course.

    If current version stays:

    - back to 4,6m/s while placing snares

    - Snares + Pallets Basekit

    - some Addon-Reworks

I was always annoyed that, when freddy got his rework, they didn't keep old freddy as well. I would have loved being able to choose which power to use in the menu screen. I miss Old Freddy

So survivors hate camping and tunnelling. OK. Now survivors hate 3genning. How is it killers are supposed to kill?

These are the very best ways for a killer to get 3/4K.

What they want is simple., when you hook a survivor, they want you to ignore that survivor for a bit, even if they unhook that survivor in a very unsafe way. They want you to chance any of the other three survivors while the hooked survivor gets to heal up and reset to neutral. And even then, they want you to spread your chases out to all four survivors evenly. No jumping back and forth between 2 survivors, even if those two survivors intentionally try to get you to chase them. Also, they're not big fans of gen regression perks, gen blocking perks, the exposed status effect, speed based powers, or anti-loop powers, so try not to use those.

  • @DBDVulture said:

One of two things needs to happen with the drones.

    1. Drones have a fixed Z plane where you place them.
    2. You can disarm a drone even if you have an armband without the drone becoming untouchable.

I'd be okay with the Z plane thing as long as boons follow the same rule, since they probably go off the same line of code

  • I think her green add on that gives survivors oblivious when in an active drone's area should be base kit. Her current stealth mechnic when walking in a drone is pretty butt in comparison.

I'd also give her a five percent movement speed increase for 15 seconds whenever a drone is deactivated by a survivor, but that movement speed increase is removed once those 15 seconds pass OR once she puts up a new drone. It keeps her from spamming drones, while also giving her some strength in chase. Survivors have a tough choice on their hands: be tracked by a drone and get exposed, or deal with a faster M! killer who shuts down loops easier

  • I love the idea of a perk that forces an interruption of a survivor doing something. In this case, via a scream. But every 25 seconds feels like it takes too long to gain a benefit from it.

  • There's also the fact that you can't force a killer to chase a survivor in a way that isn't advantageous to the killer. When playing killer, and a survivor leads me to a loop that is very strong, I normally do one of two things. 1) Leave the chase, as time is a most valuable asset to a killer and I can't afford to waste time trying to get a hit when the survivor has too strong of an advantage at this loop. Or 2) try to get a quick pallet drop and break the pallet. If this happens, I either continue the chase if I'm sure I can get a quick down, or leave the chase, knowing that I at least removed the pallet from this strong loop, making it weaker the next time a survivor wants to bring me there.

One of the most valuable skills a killer can learn is to know when to walk away from a chase, and they should always walk away from a chase where they can gain no advantage

  • Yeah, I’m starting to thing that survivors just don’t want Gen regression in general

    Just looked at the wiki.

    Pig - 5 nerfs listed

    Freddy - 9 nerfs listed.

This also doesn’t include any of Freddy’s add on nerfs, just his base kit.

Wait, which freddy? Because old freddy and new freddy are basically two completely different killers

  • @Marik1987 said:

Almost 3 years ago, he got overnerfed in so many ways. If u take a look at all the character-wikis, you wont find any character spammed with Nerfs more than Freddy.

Some of you loved OG Freddy and want him back (buffed), some of you would like to see little Buffs / QoL to his current state. As always, I think both together could work.

But when will the devs finally do something for him, besides nerfs, nerfs, nerfs?

Nurse got her own chase music in january, Hag months before and so on. Currently, there are a few killers left with the Base-Music, so my hopes are high that everyone gets his own and in this moment, they receive attention from the devs for Addon-Passes, Rework etc.

What would you like to see happen to Freddy? OG "Pull into Dream"-Freddy without the 10sec nerf from 1.8.1? The current Freddy with Pallets and Snares Basekit, removing the immortality from alarm clocks for falling asleep? Something different?

If I saw it right, almost everyone here (which is a rarity) agreed that Freddy desperately need love.

"If u take a look at all the character-wikis, you wont find any character spammed with Nerfs more than Freddy."

The Pig would like to have a word, good sir

  • I find it hard to believe that you see pop in a lot of your games when call of brine, overcharge, and pain res exist in their current state. The only way i could see pop appearing is if it was being run along side all three of the other perks listed. and even then, i seriously doubt it.

There's an argument for BBQ, but a flimsy one at that

  • I'm kinda blown away that you think BBQ, self care, and pop goes the weasel are among the "all powerful" perks. Theyre not even considered strong perks.

  • by definition, a chase meta would overwhelmingly benefit survivors, as a killer can only chase a single survivor at a time, leaving three to do gens. Even with a survivor on hook, that would still leave two on gens while one is either getting the unhook or slamming a gen. Sure, the obvious answer is "spread pressure" but in a world with super strong medkits and COH (sometimes, people just don't understand how powerful it is to be able to heal yourself without the aid of another), spreading the pressure simply isn't as viable as it once was, even with things like sloppy butcher.

I think a chase based meta is an awful idea. Because to have a chase based meta, many things would have to change in the killers favor, since things as they are benefit the survivor too much in a chase meta. Changes needed could include reduction of pallets across all maps, reducing/removing pallets that cant be mindgamed, reducing godpallets to one per map, and most controversial of all, increasing gen repair times even further. Simply put, long/extended changes would need to become a thing of the past. All of these changes would be met with uproar from the survivor fanbase

There's also the fact that you can't force a killer to chase you. I'm a killer main, and as soon as I realize a survivor is trying to take me to an area of the map where all gens have been completed, or an area with strong tiles or a strong pallet, I end the chase. Simply put, I don't allow myself to take part in chases where large amounts of time must be spent just to get a hit, or if I know for a fact that survivors can't complete a gen in the time it would take to get a down. Time is the most valuable thing in a killer's game. They only have a certain amount of time to kill survivors before the survivors win, and time lost can't be gotten back. If I can't gain benefit from a chase in a timely fashion, then I simply leave that chase ASAP.

Like I said earlier, a chase meta, in this current environment, wouldn't just benefit survivors. Survivors would be the sole side to get ANY benefit from it. Multiple changes would need to be made in the killer's favor for it to be even remotely acceptable. Sadly, just a single one of those changes would cause the majority of survivors to rage.

Slinger didn’t even get nerfed into an oblivion like people say he did.

His 1v1 was way too oppressive because he could M2 you before you were able to react. The human brain is not physically capable not had the reaction time to make a play against Slinger’s insta-scope.

Slinger is a fine killer. Billy I can’t defend. His nerf was way too harsh.

The insta scope nerf was all slinger needed. There is absolutely no reason for a 100% killer to have a 32 meter terror radius

  • Just throwing this out there, but there is a counter to killers with a strong chase mechanic. It's not getting chased at all. Sometimes I think survivors forget that stealth is an option

  • a 155 movement speed killer with a 24 meter terror radius is certainly an interesting design decision

  • I kinda wish each killer and survivor could have a 5th perk slot but it had to be one of their teachable perks. Then again, that would be a balancing nightmare

  • @Nirgendwohin said:

there are many and very imaginative ideas how to solve the tunnel problem. a quick look at the feedback forum is enough.

None of this is implemented at all, no, they even keep a low profile and keep quiet about the problem.

Everytime they implemented the an idea on a PTB, survivors abused it to hell and back, and the idea didn't go through.

SO all you have to do is come up with an idea to stop tunneling is come up with an idea that is 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt impossible for survivors to take advantage of to gain a competitive advantage.

  • @TigerSnake said:

Nah, it’ll be Call of Brine. People will complain that it’s “uninteractive”, “unfun”, “takes no skill”, and “wins games killers shouldn’t win” and BHVR will kill it appropriately.

those do seem to be survivors go to reasons for things needing a nerf these days

  • @Piruluk said:

Hillbilly was broken, instasaw billy was the most disgusting thing ever in this game.

Deathslinger was extremely oppressive in 1 vs 1

There's still no reason for the deathslinger, a 110 killer, to have a 32 meter terror radius.

  • Yeah, I'll still use it here and there. Spreading a ten percent gen progress loss across 1 or multiple gens just for downing someone. Thats solid value. The incapacitated status was just a bonus

  • On one hand, I get what you're saying, but on the other hand, I spend way too much money on Kate's cosmetics, so i'm with the Feng Min players on this one

  • FNAF, Friday the 13th, Alien. FNAF first obviously

  • I'd be ok with basekit unbreakable if it was 45 seconds to get up, with no way to reduce that time whatsoever, and using the perk Unbreakable reduces that time to 20 seconds, but its one time use, it removes the ability for allies to pick you up from the dying state as long as its still active, and using it removes the basekit unbreakable from you for the rest of the game

  • I'm really starting to believe that survivors won't stop complaining about the Nurse until she's loopable

1 2 3 4 … 13
