Haddonfield by a large margin. At least Midwich looks good, and the loops aren't strong. Haddonfield and it's infinite fences are just the worst.
-
Everybody hates it, but the devs thinks it brings 'immersion,' and keeps the player 'engaged.' Mind you, these are the same devs that kept older god loops in the game for four years, so there's a real divide between them and players.
-
Plague main here. I get a lot of 'you're trash for playing such a broken killer' messages, and their ilk, pretty regularly.
-
They are, just like. . . what's her names, Zolina? Deathslingers survivor. I make sure to smack them when I hook, just to shut them up.
-
Wouldn't working 16 hours make up for weightlifting? So long as it's a physical job?
I know I work 40-50 hour weeks, and when I get home, I'm too drained to actually play. I make time for two or three matches on my days off if I feel up to the toxicity.
-
... but I want an UWU skin for him, now. . .
-
So, Legion, but with extra steps?
-
What's your point?
-
Let them teabag you at gate.
-
This has to be a bait post. Gave me a laugh though.
-
@TheClownIsKing I understand it can't be used to grab. But it can't even be used as a 'head start.' He gives off a global roar, his portals can be heard from eight meters away, and his stomps can be heard a tile away. That head start is negated by everything else in his kit. Not to mention it's two seconds at base.
-
So long as SWF is a thing, without any form of balancing, the game will always be survivor sided. No way of getting around that.
-
Can you imagine builds that freed up a perk slot, while maintaining DS? Ow. . .

You know it's probably good that you're uninstalling if people playing with friends has upset you this gravely.
I honestly hate when this excuse is brought up. Nobody has anything against playing with friends. The issue is how unbalanced it is. Maybe if the devs spent time doing something about it in the last four, going on five, years, we'd be in a better place.

I actually think that the twins are 3-rd if not second best killer in the game at the moment. When the match starts you can pressure survivors almost immediately with victor attacks that are very hard to miss. If hit surv gets rid of attached victor, then after a few seconds you can go for another attack on other survivors and that's where ruin is putting into work.
If they don't ged rid of him, then you have a 3vs1 match if you are smart enough to not chase a surv with victor on thier head. I currenty run Twins with BBQ, ruin, undying and tinkerer, but if you don't need extra points then thanatophobia is a great replacement.
You realize the top two are Spirit and Nurse, right? Billy is still arguably third best. Twins are nowhere near either of those three in terms of viability. I wouldn't even put them in the top ten, and that's being generous. As OP stated, Charlotte has no power. Victor doesn't offer enough to be a serious threat.
The only way they are really viable in high ranks is if you play the slugging game, and that isn't fun for anybody.
-
You don't. You play Bubba instead.
Really, though, follow Tofu's guides. They're helpful.
-
Didn't you know? Holding M1 is hard.
-
My go to build is:
Inner Strength
Quick and Quiet
Lithe
Detectives Hunch
I adore Lithe, so it's usually in all of my builds. This one lets me hit all the bases. Detectives can be swapped out if I feel like it. I like Dance With Me, and Borrowed Time is a good choice.
-
Right now? Twins. I just don't like how constrained the only legit playstyle they have going for them right now is.
-
I'm against it as well. They could have simply jacked up the quitter bonus points, introduced husks, and at least allowed a safety pip. There are matches out there I am simply not invested in playing, such as an OoO against Trapper, or sweat squad against my baby Twins, or a slugging Oni who refuses to hook.
And it's not as if the penalty has done anything. I still get a DC every three or four matches. Heck, I've had two tonight, out of three matches I've played. And the penalty has been hijacked how many times so far? Just a matter of time before it happens again. In the long run, it seems more trouble than it's worth.
-
That must make me a sweat lord, because I can only really ever play after 9pm
-
All it takes is one bad game against a tactical SWF that was dead set on humiliating you, for you to assume every SWF is out to do the same thing. It's like Bubba. One face camping session and you assume every Bubba is going to face camp you.
-
Nothing. Bring em in. Just don't rewrite existing characters to fit the 'quota.' That's a reason why I really dislike what movies and such are doing nowadays. Rewriting characters to pander to others. Just make a new character to fill the role you want. It's not going to stop me from slapping them on hook just because they're gay.

Ormond is not really that big. It is like Number 8 of 17 different sizes, so right in the middle.
I think it seems bigger than it is due to all the open space. Aside from the tractor and three or four jungle gyms, there isn't much in the way of LoS blockers around the central building.
-
So, they create a character, slap something into their bio that indicates whatever color of the spectrum they're on, and that's representation? Fine, go for it, I'm still going to slap you on hook to shut your screams up.

*OoO has no significant statistical impact on survivability
Because most players don't use it. Those that do, are either a sweaty SWF, or a solo looking for attention.
This wasn't meant to turn into a debate, though. Ethan has shown a disconnect from the playerbase, looking at numbers instead of how things are ingame. That's the problem here, hence, my comment. Opening up that can of worms against issues that have been talked to death over for years is bound to have a reaction in the community.

Sometimes I wonder why there's only one of the game designers that use this forum. Then I realise that people will find absolutely any excuse to hate on him- even saying that he's boy entertaining enough like that's his job- to ######### on him and I realise why.
But you're welcome <3
I mean, you kinda open yourself up to ridicule when he makes the claim that Clown has hidden potential and OoO is fine. . .
-
He was, in the PTB. Remember, they didn't give us the buffed version until after. Even on release, he was weak till, what, a week or so after when he got another buff?
(Also, welcome back!)
-
@Aven_Fallen I mean, I don't mind the base level of brightness. I actually like that. Foggy days are one of my favorites, so that translates here. Good change of pace from the normal dark atmosphere.
It's just the completed generators lights that are blinding.
-
The Twins is the weakest killer released to date, beating out Clown for that position. Devs shipped him with minimal buffs, and his biggest weakness, lockers, wasn't even added. So, you won't see em for awhile.
-
Because they don't care. People slap down money on the shiny cosmetics, so the devs think all is right in the world. Just look at the balance dev who contradicts most things the community is saying. They only see things from their side. Until somebody hits them in the pocket, it's going to stay this way.
-
I haven't seen anybody point it out, but isn't it just so bright? Not base, but once a gen in the area is popped, it becomes a spotlight. Get a series of gens in one area going, and you have the sun.
-
I mean, my first match as the Twins was against a 4 man that brought a flashlight, medkit, map, key. Where I only had the three teachables. Was slapped with the good old fashioned 'ggez' when they popped hatch.
That was funny. At the very least, though, I learned that Head On works against Victor. . .

did you not get some hallowed blight skins with those shards???
God no. Those skins are horrible. Besides, I don't even use those killers, and I unlocked Nurse/Plagues last year. Don't even use them.
-
I used the shards they gifted a few weeks back. Not dropping a cent on this mess.
-
Top tier? In what, green ranks? Victor simply isn't punishing enough, and gets punished too easily as it is.
-
No? You want to reward incompetence with more money? How does that work?
It doesn't matter how much money you throw at them, the devs are simply incapable of giving quality work. A better option would be to actually increase the team size. Or at the very least, give more time between DLC dumps.
But again, we see the devs prefer to pump effort into cosmetics than actual creation/balancing.

Just to give you a heads up, this issue will be fixed in the upcoming hotfix.
Is there a reason why it wasn't fixed with release? Is there no internal testing done before all this? As it stands, it seems there is little in the way of actual playtesting to see what goes out.
-
Matchmkaing has nothing to do with the community, just at the devs being unable to create a functional system. And maintaining it, I should add.
-
Just another things the wonder devs blunder yet again. Throw it into the pile of growing issues.

That's a terrible comparison though. Finding all 5 totems will take a survivor team far longer than 1 minute and 15 seconds, unless survivors have now learned a new ability that lets them teleport from one totem to another. The time to find totems is arguably longer. Obviously, with Undying and Ruin, survivors won't always need to cleanse all 5 totems, but I'm still pretty sure at average it takes more than 1 minute and 15 seconds time for the survivors to get rid of Ruin.
DS/UInbreakeable, coupled with Borrowed Time can waste even more time of the killer, but those instances are much more situational and in many cases require the killer to at the very least semi camp and tunnel.
There are FOUR survivors. It's not like it's only one person looking/doing totems. You see a totem, you break it. It bugs me how survivors always have the mindset of 'somebody else will do it.' Sure, it takes a bit of time to find them, but a minute fifteen spread out over four survivors shouldn't be rocket science.
Nor does that change the fact that Ruin only applies if you're off a gen. Again, survivors make it a bigger issue than it is by urban evading at the slightest hint of TR music.
Basically, this perk combo only really hurts survivors that aren't efficient.
-
So, you mean the survivor norm of DS/UB/Adren/BT/SG/DH/SB, with little variation in red rank aside from SWF builds, isn't an issue?
They're called meta perks for a reason. The difference between survivor and killer is that atm, killer meta is hex based. 15 seconds a totem, minute 15 for all five, and you negate half the killers perk build. Big whoop. Survivors, on the other hand, are different. The killer is working against sixteen perks, usually the same. And it's trickier to deal with those than a hex.
Hell, you can simply ignore Ruin just by hammering out gens. It's not like old Ruin. Really not seeing why people complain about this combo. Just do bones.
-
When another survivor, not in a chase, camps a pallet, while I, who is in a chase, can't get past their giant hitbox.
-
+1, all for it.
-
Still don't see why it has to be so dark for killers. They're killers, meant to be predators. Brighten it up a bit.
-
Doc. Throw on BBQ, Distressing, and Thrill of the Hunt. Have fun!
-
I would mind, yes. Can you imagine giving the small pp build a new perk slot?
-
These comments. . . yesh.
Huntress is one of those that is impacted harder than other killers with the lack of bloodlust. Did two matches Friday with her, and I noticed it.
