Fair? No. Yet it's something you have to accept. Devs just aren't interested in fixing this issue in a timely manner. So, until they do, you could just go in with meme builds and not take it seriously.

I have never heard someone using the term "tunneling" for someone working on a gen. News flash, survivors have the main goal of getting generators done.
That's what they want to do. Get the gen done. You want to stop them from doing gens? Down them and put them on a hook instead of just chasing them away.
The tongue in cheekiness of the post went right over your head, bud.
-
Player base seems doesn't see any major declines, so I'd say yes. Though, considering how rushed the updates have been getting, maybe that isn't the case.
-
That they would be doing their jobs. . .
-
No, just make it so the rescued survivor has no collision. Tired of being hook bombed the moment I try and leave, only for the rescued survivor to body block when I try and go for the savior. You pull that on me, then I will tunnel you out of the game.
-
His BLAAEOIRHGAOIHAREOIHGHHH!!!! irritates me. So, no thank you.
-
Why do bullies exist? You have a leader, who needs to feel self worth by making another person feel beneath them, and you have the followers who need to feel included, to be part of something. Same with bully squads. They get a kick out of making one person miserable, to make their own sad existences worth something.
-
I mean, if you couldn't find it, you may not know all the spawns. Did you try the very edges of the map? I've had them spawn against the far walls from time to time.
-
I've always liked the idea of a counter added to it. Every hook gives a token, with two tokens equaling one down on a healthy survivor. That way, you need to put in some effort into getting the end game effect, but at the same time, crap like Soul Guard and insta heals can't hinder it.
-
I'd think you would be ecstatic to have Huntress in the saloon. You can literally loop her for five gens in there, and she really can't do anything about it.
-
My build atm is M&A, Sloppy, Nurses, and PGTW. I prefer Surge than PGTW, but sometimes I snowball and can't make use of it.
-
I'll slap you once to shut up the scream. Newer characters have really annoying screeching. A quick slap cuts it off. Not doing it to be toxic, but Elodie and Zarina sound like a dying cat in a wind tunnel.
-
My go to is Lithe/Quick and Quiet/Inner Strength, and Detectives Hunch. Sometimes if I want to be extra cheeky, I'll swap Detectives for Dance With me.
-
Honestly, it comes down to prep. Give Amanda some time to devise a plan, she'd come out on top. Throw them both in together, though, GF.
-
Three days ago. I'm tired when I get home from work, and DbD isn't something I can relax with. So, a few matches on my days off.
-
Because survivors are playing killer due to the hitboxes. Once those are fixed, it'll go back to normal.

Not gonna lie man they either don't or take forever to do it.
I reported a hacker 3 days ago and they haven't even responded to my thing yet
I remember I reported a player sending death threats, received notice that 'they were looking into it' a week later, and nothing came of it. Since then, I've believed it's a waste of time. They claim one thing, but don't actually do anything.
Smite, the MOBA? They implemented a system that tells you when action has been taken against a reported player. Always liked that. Would be nice if other games took that.

- Plague. Love me my Vommy Mommy.
- Trapper. Real fan of future planning. Not a fan of Ding Ding Ding while setting up, but still
- Nurse. Buggy mess and all, she's the killer that got me into the game. Started my killer route via her.
- Oni. Never really gave him much thought, then his Minotaur skin came out. Now, I really enjoy him, though I wish I could figure out how to flick consistently.
- Huntress. I find her song lovely, even though I have terrible aim.

No I want behavior to stop catering to every single person that chooses to beg for nerfs instead of just learning how to overcome.. When I started DBD, things weren't handed to you.. You had to work for every escape, you had to work for every kill.. now it's just pathetic that everyone wants everything nerfed.
I mean, god loops were ingame for four years, even though people begged for change. I don't think that's 'catering' to every single person. Considering it takes months, if not years, for ANY changes to come to light, I don't see where you think they're catering, Yes, there's a lot of whining. People want Iron Will to be changed, for goodness sake, but on the other end, other people claim BBQ is OP. That doesn't mean it'll be changed.
There's, what, 50k player population at peak hours? That's a LOT of opinions and beliefs. The forums are a way to both express and vent those. Sure, some pick up and catch on, others just die away.
Where you around last year, just after the Nurse nerf was announced, when every week there were dozens of threads for any chosen killer that needed to be brought up to the chopping block? Think Deathslinger levels we had a few months back. Pig was cried over. Wraith was moaned about. Hell, my Plague was thought to be 'broken' and 'overpowered.'
My point is, in a multiplayer game where thousands of people congregate, there will always be ideas, good and bad. The forums are just a way to talk about that. Some people take nerfs as a sign that more are coming. Most are bad, but some are good. At least, in the long run. I'm still questioning the devs judgement on a few changes they've made.
-
If people drop DS because they can't abuse it anymore, then that's on them. DS still remains, at its core, an anti tunneling perk. If they drop it because they can't abuse it, then they weren't worried about tunneling in the first place. So, no loss there.
-
So, because one thing gets nerfed, it means the other unbalanced things aren't an issue anymore? Pyramid Head got a nerf awhile back. Does that mean Freddy shouldn't get one? Nurse was nerfed, so Spirit shouldn't be adjusted? This is an ever evolving multiplayer game. There will always be changes.
What, you think because infinites were 'fixed,' (even though they were reintroduced with breakable walls recreating them), other issues shouldn't be resolved?
Gens weren't touched, Prove Thy Self was, even though it was a slight adjustment, while Ruin was gutted.
Toolboxes may be controversial, I'll give you that.
Saboing was nerfed, because you can't 99 a hook anymore? Or was it because hooks respawn after a set time? You don't see an issue with that, considering what SWF can bring?
What's wrong with map reworks?
We don't know about keys. What, you think keys should be left alone, while Mori's were adjusted? And you say you play 50/50?
If you don't see the issue with DS as it stands, then I don't know what to tell ya. The core of DS remains the same, it just can't be abused as easily anymore.
OoO is a toxic perk. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. Why you brought it up is beyond me.
From your rant, it seems you want things to stay the same. How can you hope for growth if it's a stale mess that's never fixed? Wanting balance equals greed in your eyes?
-
So long as they're moving before the crows pop, then they won't get them. It's frustrating being held hostage like that, but there isn't much you can do but find them, or dc.

What even happened to him? He hasn't streamed DBD since the incident and immediately removes any mentions of the game in his chat. Wonder if he got fired? It does still say he's game designer in his about me though so i'm super confused what's going on with him
Probably removed him as a spokesman since the whole color blind fiasco.
-
'I don't even try to read the responses from this sensitive killers.'
Then why post a thread in a discussion forum?
-
Almo probably looks at the statistics and says 'Nurse if fine, move along.'
-
Put me on Haddonfield, I will instantly be in a ticked off mood, and thus, play toxic. Put me on corn maps, and depending on the killer, I will be annoyed. Huntress, for instance, or Nurse. Ormond, I tend to slug far more often, as I need the pressure. Same with the small Badham map. Hate that map.
It also comes down to the survivors. A blendette on the swamp maps, and I'm tunneling them out of the game.
-
I would think playing a fair match, only to be teabagged at exit and bm'ed in chat to be a worse feeling. Rank means nothing.
-
You do realize the 4v1 is just begging for bully mentality, right? Either it's four people outclassing one, or it's one outclassing four. Neither side comes out the winner in most cases.
-
His buff revolved around his cloak. He's completely invisible from a certain ways out, closer in gives off a slight shimmer, and closer still is the normal shimmer we had pre buff.
As for the hits, check his addons. He has a few that reduce the time needed to decloak.
-
Just 4k slug them. Let them stew in their collective blandness for four minutes.

as soon as the issues with them are fixed.
honestly, i think its more likely to see more maps being disabled due to technical issues first - referring to the Backwater Swamp (fatshame spots) and Temple of Purgation (killers getting stuck) here.
O? I haven't had any issues yet with Purgation. Where are the trouble spots?
I wouldn't mind if The Game is disabled for a bit while they fix the pallet spawning.
-
For Killer? SWF balance. Huge undertaking, but the devs dug that hole for themselves.
For Survivor? Optimization of servers. Hit validation comes to mind, as well as servers taking away perks such as Dead Hard.
-
Do you go up to women in public and tell them that their breast sway is problematic?
I find it amusing, however, that Demo chewing a chicks head off, or PH eviscerating a woman, or GF snapping selfies as a woman dies, is less of a concern than a bit of boob jiggle. . .

25 pallets and, what, 6-7 vaults total on the map? The Game will always be a boring "break safe pallet" map because that's how it was designed. It's not the most invigorating game play, but it's also one of the only maps in the game that is designed that way, off the top of my head.
This map was always killer sided and devs obviously saw a reason to make it a little more survivor sided, after changing a lot of other maps to be more balanced from being more survivor sided. I'm not saying they didn't possibly go overboard but like... how many matches have even been played on the new version of the map since the update?
I think people should give it more time before they immediately start calling it out as the new most survivor sided map (you didn't call it that, but other people have). I'm sure it will eventually get tweaked slightly but I myself haven't even played on it more than once since the update LOL
A 'little more' survivor sided? You literally have god pallet after god pallet stacked here. Nearly every loop is safe. This isn't 'more balanced,' this is something going wrong in the algorithm. Instead of actually making the map fun for both sides, they simply flopped and made it a pallet simulator. Do you really need to play more than two matches to know the devs f'ed up on this one?
And don't forget about the breakable walls everywhere. I've had survivors wiggle off because my route to hooks is blocked by two in a row on just the nearest hooks. As survivor, I've been trapped in multiple dead ends because of them.
No, this was a rushed job. Devs slapped a pretty look on it, then shipped it. Look at the quality of the rest of the update, that should give you a good indication how this one was handled.
-
A lot of factors can be involved. Are you out positioned, while the other survivors are in a stronger area? Then going after you is the smarter choice. Did you run right into me while I was going for somebody else? Are you trying to get the BT smack? Do you have a key? Is the other guy a better looper, and thus able to waste more of my time? Were you farmed by a crappy team mate?
Lots of things can play a part. Is there genuine tunneling out there? Sure. But I'm guessing a good amount of those cases are just killers capitalizing on poor choices, or making a better call for themselves.
-
He was always weak, because he had no map pressure. Strong in the 1v1, weak in the 4v1. Can players make it work? Sure. I can make Plague work in red ranks, even though that's a wall of frustration getting there. That doesn't make her, or Clown, stronger than they really are.
As for his buff, they just gave him a bit more control in that 1v1. That's fine, but again, that doesn't help much in the 4v1. I do like his quicker reload. . .
I just see this as Tru3 claiming Wraith is top tier, Everybody has a niche, sees things differently, and can make certain things work, but that's a 1 in 100 case scenario. Simply because one person can do the seemingly impossible, doesn't mean the subject is suddenly good.
Still, the fact that you make him work is a miracle. So kudos there. Since I'm getting back into survivor more for the rift, not looking forward to running into actually good Clown players.
-
Apparently you've never played Slinger against decent teams.
-
The issues are more survivor sided, with massive hitboxes, apparently. I didn't see it on my end, but was told in a few games that my lunge seemed doubled due to the hitboxes.
I haven't experienced the bus bug yet, but I can say I absolutely despise The Game now. It's torture playing it with my Plague, with all 9000 god pallets piled on top of each other.
-
Maybe check the feedback section instead of general discussion if you want to see 'civilized' communication.
-
Pig is on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of power, though.
-
Just watch a few of Almo's streams and see how he favors 'statistics' and 'numbers' over actual user experience. Granted, he's only one dev, the balance one at that, but considering how the game has been handled over the last five years, I figure the pattern extends further.
-
Well, nice to know you saw a difference. He still feels lackluster the few times I've played him. Maybe because he doesn't interest me, but from what I saw, the antidote is just another lazy gimmick that doesn't actually do anything on larger maps against decent teams.
-
I got it once. It feels like the map shrank a little, but that may have just been me.
-
Personally, the new bottle 'buff' just screams lazy to me. It's not going to change his play much at high levels, as he still has no map pressure. Feels more like a gimmick than anything else, like Demo's Undetectable status.
-
I hate how it's all over the screen. The elements themselves aren't bad, at least to me, but I want them in a nice little corner where I quick peek gives me all the info I need, not looking left/right/top/bottom for what I want.

Triggered killers think they're the victim when it's really them being the instigator. I'm just trying to play the game and you have to do THAT?!
It's not a killer thing, it's a people thing. I've had survivors throw tantrums over the killer I'm using. I've had killers throw tantrums over my Lithe/Dance With Me/Q&Q. Everybody gets triggered at everything. All you can do is go into the next match and hope for better.

Just curious.. why leave a reply if you have nothing to say?
Because.
-
Okay.
-
How the hell do you think Gideon's is 'killer sided?' Nearly every pallet is safe, with a clear view on the killer on most loops. Most killers have to power through them to get any breathing room. Additionally, the upper floor is almost completely opened up. You can see the killer coming from half the map away.
-
@savevatznick said:
The Game wasn't survivor sided before, it was just terribly boring because the Killer / Survivor gameplay was run, kick pallet, run kick pallet until there are no pallets. Then the map is so small that each chase is a quick down.
It's worse now, though, since they removed a lot of the clutter. Now you can see the killer for half way across the map due to all the empty space. There's only, what, two pallets that can be mindgamed? While the map looks good, it's terrible to play on. Worse now than before, in my opinion.
