Just show who is SWF prelobby. And buff solo of course.
Devs won't show pre lobby SWF because 'lobby dodging' would increase. Apparently that's a bad thing.
Yet at the same time, they won't show post lobby SWF. Because laziness.

Do bones is not a valid argument when we still have no bone counters for solo survivors and the bones can spawn is extremely hidden spots. Take my last game for example: the entire game I cleansed 4 totems and did 3 gens on my own since my teammates were potatos and kept getting downed but of those 4 totems none of them were NOED and at the egc after I opened the exit gate I get downed and hooked while my 3 teammates escaped. I did almost all the work that game yet still died for it because noed exists not to mention I also de piped that game after doing 3 gens 4 totems and saving my teammates numerous times. I hope you know understand why every survivor player is sick of this damn perk and it needs to be adressed
If you did three gens and four totems, you didn't depip. At worst, you black pipped.
Since your squad were potatoes, you should have just left. You said you opened the gate, so it's not like you didn't have the option.
"...but of those 4 totems none of them were NOED..." Because NOED doesn't activate until all gens are completed. It will always spawn on a random dull totem, not before.
Small Game has been updated to have a totem counter. Or you can just use Detectives Hunch. Good perk, godly when used with a map.
I'm not against a change to NOED, but again, the perk is entirely in survivors hands. While you may have that random game where totems actually have decent hiding spots, it's not all that often. More so on newer maps, but even then, most will spawn in the open.
-
A perk entirely in the survivors hands on whether it activates or not, yet it's the killer who 'has no skill.' Funny stuff.
Do bones.
-
None. Prestige is a waste of time, effort, and BP.
-
Freddy: Don't mind the reduction in snares/pallets. Even his slowdown addons are okay. It's the alarm clock change that worries me. It leaves Freddy with a half minute where he has no power in a chase if he just came across them. Won't happen often, sure, but it'll be there.
Demo: Some nice quality of life changes, but the devs still don't understand what the issue behind him is. He telegraphs EVERYTHING he does with screams and stomps. What's the point of the undetectable status when A) He lets the map know he's using his portals and B) His stomps can be heard from a tile away, thus nullifying the status effect.
Huntress: Pure laziness right here. I figured the Iri Head change would be the simplest, and they went with it. But the new Iri addon? What a complete joke. She's a ranged killer, and they give her a meme addon as her best. It's Nurse all over again. No innovation or fun in either addons.
Twins: They actually nerfed one of the worst killers in the game. Amazing. . . I'll give credit where it's due on the camera change, but nerfing Victor. . . why?
-
Wall hacking as Plague while using Black Incense.
-
Ignore them. If you know they're at the gates, go break pallets or walls instead. Waste their time while you get something out of it.
-
Depends on the survivor, in my case. A quick smack shuts down the scream. Gives me a half second to listen for any hook bombing. Plus, some survivors sound like nails on a chalk board. Looking at you, Zarina.
-
I don't think he needs to be 115%. Just lower the amount of knives needed, remove the laceration timer, make ricochet base kit, and allow him to activate his power when he wants.

I use this build on Steve with Head-On instead of Lithe....Lithe is probably better, though!
I dabbled with Head On before as well, but I always screwed up the timing. The few times I actually landed it put the killer on guard, making it pointless later on. Maybe in a SWF could I get more consistent, but I'm solo.
-
Lithe/Q&Q/Inner Strength/Detectives Hunch.
Gives me speed, stealth, self healing, and map awareness. Love it.
-
<___________________________________________> That long.
Or maybe the mid chapter.
-
No, it can't be done, except against potatoes. His weaknesses nullify any pros he was built with. That's like saying Twins 'just needed to be learned' upon release. They're still down right terrible, with the only viable way of playing them to be scummy. Trickster is in the same boat. He's a badly made mess.
-
My flippy floppy bunny ears. I wanted to see them bounce.
-
It just shows how the perk was abused. Those players that dropped it weren't using it as anti tunnel.
-
So do I. When I see he's the killer in the match, I know I'm going to have an easy match.
-
Sounds petty. I'll just 4k slug ya and move on.

i disagree. i think dbd is actually fairly balanced, def not as bad as people say.
Killer is just harder to play.
'Fairly balanced...'
How the heck do you consider voice comms as 'fairly balanced?' The whole premise of the game is lack of information. To gather what you can through a match, and use it. Kinda easy when one person can simply tell the others who the killer is, what they're doing, what they're running, who they're on, etc. You don't 'need' to be a 'good' swf to give out that free information. Simply telling somebody 'Trapper trapped the edge of the tile' or 'Hex totem in the shack' can be a real game changer.
SWF isn't unbeatable. It's just down right unfun most of the times.
-
Load in? Are we talking about sitting in the lobby, or an actual loading screen? Lobby waits are due to the far smaller killer pool available. Not enough players.
-
Or just have her white noise override chase music when she's phasing. That way you know she's phasing, instead of having a guessing game.
-
Er. . . what do you mean 'with how healthy the game is.' Have you not seen Nurse?
Yes, we need a good bug clearing. Will the devs do it? No. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be on the agenda.
-
'First off deadhard isn't even that great of a perk...' Yeah. . . no. It's literally the best exhaustion perk in game. Sure, it can be finicky due to server issues, but that doesn't detract from it's number one spot.
-
Billy, Blight, Twins, and Spirit. They just don't interest me.

Are you talking about the MMR that was just tested??
Yes. The longer it's on, the more it'll work its magic, the narrower the skill level will be. So instead of grabbing any killer to fill the slot, as it was doing for the last year, it'll try and remain in it's 'skill based' segment. More skilled you are, at least deemed by the MMR, the smaller the killer pool will be. It's why streamers are concerned about their matches, as nearly every game will be a sweat fest at the high end.
-
Remember when people said DBD is a casual game? Yeah. . . now with this MMR.
-
Not enough killer players. Going to get worse the longer the new MMR system is active.
-
Depends on the survivors. If it's the Dweet that was just plain out of his element, sure. Contest the hatch. May even give it to him. If it's the Clicky Clicky Blendette, I will slug the third to hunt her down. If the slug was a decent player, or new, or funny, after I find the forth, I'll give the slug the hatch.
-
I wouldn't say bad, just tedious. One bad throw, and you reward survivors, waste a bottle/s, or get nothing from it. You're micromanaging something that really shouldn't need to be micromanaged.
-
Past, or current? In the past, it was said to be killer sided. Weak vaults, and static loops. Now, it's survivor sided by far. Over 20 pallets on such a small map? You can do all the gens and still have pallets to spare.
-
No. I don't care. I've had too many experiences that tell me a string of those is a toxic swf looking to make up points spent being toxic. I see those, I will 4k slug.
-
Blight, as I thought he was going to be a werewolf from that teaser trailer. Mechanically, Twins. I loved the idea of a two in one, but the end result. . . ugh.

Probably not a good build but PGTW, Thana, Dying Light and Ruin.
I use that, though I swap Ruin for either Infectious or Brutal.
-
Are you really complaining about two perks that the killer can only activate by being an active participant in the match? Said killer has to chase, loop, and hook a survivor for either to be used, then go out and make use of that info, and you see a problem with that? Not slugging, not camping, not tunneling, but doing what the killer is supposed to be doing?
Okay then.
-
I'd personally give it two conditions. The first would be a time period before activation. The survivor needs to be swinging for at least ten seconds before it can be used. I get annoyed when I'm hook dived the moment I throw somebody up. Let me at least leave the area before you attempt it.
The second would be to remove collision for the duration. That way they can't body block. Goes hand in hand with the first condition. Tired of the hook bombing, just for the rescued to body block when I'm trying to go for the rescuer.
-
I swapped back to Freddy for a bit as I was getting irked at how sweaty my games were with my M1 killers lately. Sure, I still have a challenge when using him, but at least I feel more in control.
-
It's simple. DS is now a true anti tunneling perk. If you took DS for a reason other than a safe guard for tunneling, then you were the problem. If you took it for tunneling, then the change won't affect you.
-
I just can't manage to land flicks consistently. Either it won't work, or it'll flick out of nowhere. I get both tilted and frustrated when either happen, so I stick more with killers I know I can land with.
-
I'm putting you up there with that Clown player that believes Clown is amazing. One in a million that can make bottom tier killers work. Glad you enjoy them, but I just can't see any validity in your points, personally.
-
No. Survivors that feel the need to harass and bully killers that pick the best killers available are salty that their meta perks are countered.

They’re changing them soon we just have to be patient
1) This wasn't confirmed. They simply stated they'll look over keys in the future.
2) This is BHVR. 'Soon' means months, if not years.
-
What's the point? If they can't heal, then they're already in the same position as being exposed.
-
Xeno, please.
-
So somebody wanting to win the match means you need to insult them? Uh huh. . .
-
If a game makes you feel like this, then don't play the game.
-
Just wait. One month after drop you'll see a streamer find a lovely combo, then the threads of 'TRICKSTER OP, NO SKILL, NO COUNTERPLAY, ETC PLZ NERF,' will pour in. Then the devs will slap a one second slowdown between aiming, lower his base knife count, and call it a day.
-
Fyi, the mods are probably going to suspend you for a bit. They consider this 'not playing the game.'
-
I tend to stay away from the game past midnight. It's just sweaty players beyond that.
-
Please no. I can't stand to see my sweet pea be hooked. I'm serious, if she's added, I won't lay a hand on her in any way.

But you don't know if they are SWF, I've been waiting in lobby with other solo's and literally 3 killers and come and go with no flashlights or anything.
Proves my point more. You don't know if you left a non toxic group of solos to join a game of toxic SWF.
I think because atm survivors are waiting in lobby before a killer is in there so they see a group of 3 or 4 and just leave.
It's adding extra waiting time for literally no reason.
Better safe than sorry. You want to point fingers? Point them at the SWF players that ruined it all. I don't have much time to play, so if I even get the vibe of a SWF, of any size, I'm not wasting time on that. I'm sorry for the solo wait time, but again, my time is my own.
