Corrupt for effectiveness, Lethal if you're tired of people hiding at the start of the game.
Both if you're tired of people hiding out your Corrupt.
-
I'm pretty sure that's a White Glyph, which is a challenge related item. If you escape holding an active one then it gives you like 20k bp.
-
I agree, the perk is far too oppressive when paired with regression.
-
Only today? I've had a lot of survivor and killer games ruined recently by early ragequitters recently.
-
...did you just quote the ######### Joker because survivors are running good perks?
-
Honestly I have no idea how good it is, but I think I've had it save me a couple of times. It's a neat perk, but probably won't be super significant most of the time.
-
I don't personally have an issue with Dead Hard. In fact, it's one of the more interactive exhaustion perks for the killer, since you can try to zone them away from a window/pallet by swinging at a certain time.
I don't know why people make a huge fuss over there being "nothing you can do" against Dead Hard when used for distance. Sure, there are scenarios where a survivor will make it to a pallet or window, but the same goes for most other exhaustion perks. There's nothing you can do against Sprint Burst, Lithe or Balanced Landing, they end up with a bunch of distance gained on you regardless of what you do.
I do hope that if they do end up changing it, that it doesn't get nerfed out of the meta. I would hate to have to consistently face 4 good survivors with distance-based exhaustions (ESPECIALLY Sprint Burst, god help you if you get 4 SB). Dead Hard is just way more fun to go against, despite how frustrating it can be at times.
-
Oh god, not only are there spiders but now they're on fire! A true nightmare scenario.
-
They addressed this in the Q&A, I think. All of the addons that were changed in that update were simple numbers changes only, and could be done by the designers themselves. A lot of Blight's addons require more complicated changes that isn't just changing a number in a line of code somewhere. I'm assuming they ran out of Programmer time for that patch.
That said, I don't think the issue with Pinky Finger has been solved, it's still just as overpowered as it was pre-nerf with the Gin Bottle addon, but clunky as all hell without it. It needs a full rework imo.
-
I'd say Trapper or Myers.
-
Wait for 3 passive chains to spawn (they always come in clusters of 3), and then start solving the box. Make sure not to break any on the environment because that will cause them to respawn and interrupt you again.
-
Honestly it might be good as a replacement for Dried Cherry Blossom, I think.
-
Still not fixed as of the 5.6.1 bugfix.
-
Yeah, I kinda miss it, the Ruin skillchecks made doing generators more interesting, and the black and red skill checks looked REALLY cool.

@ReverseVelocity actually did manage it.
The closest I've gotten are 3 condemned kills
Indeed I did. Everything lined up just right.
-
That doesn't sound like a bug, you're probably just getting chain blinded lol
-
This is still an issue.
-
Legion had a 24m Terror Radius because they had a 4.4m/s movement speed, and Pig never even had a 24m TR in the first place, it was 28m.
-
The addon is pretty stupid with Gin Bottle, but really clunky without it since you have to spend basically the entire game reloading. I'd rather have something that's good without another addon but not overpowered with one.
-
I think this addon should get a full rework into something far more interesting, to be honest.
-
-
It's a known issue, they listed it in the patch notes.
-
I like how killers can get like, 5-6 meta slowdown perks basically in a row and still complain endlessly about the 1 meta-worthy survivor perk that gets released.
I think Circle is pretty overhyped anyway. It's a strong perk, sure, but it's not breaking the game like people are claiming.
-
I think he's wrong. From what I've played of her, I've done very well, and I've managed to get moris pretty consistently. Condemn is only non-threatening if you don't apply pressure properly. She's a very solid killer with a lot going for her.

Manifesting Nightmare On Elm Street 2 with pre-rework Freddy.

I'm so sick of doomposting like this.
46k CURRENT PLAYERS AS OF THIS MOMENT PER STEAMCHARTS
THIS TIME LAST YEAR, DBD WAS AT 35k
Yes, there was a drop off after the ALL TIME HIGH after the Resident Evil Chapter. EVERYONE knew that would happen. New players would flock to check the game out. Some stayed while some long time players left. This is not uncommon in games such as this. Every game as a service model has peaks and valleys. Look at PUBG for a prime example. By no means is DBD "losing players at an alarming rate". As I stated IN A SIMILAR THREAD YESTERDAY, if there was a 15% drop in player base compared to this time last year, sure I would raise an eyebrow but, numbers don't lie. Now I fully expect to see the same thing happen numberwise come join this year. I'll even put money on it.
God damn I hate these forums do much. This community is something else I swear.

Exactly, with how high Resident Evil pushed up the game's numbers, it was bound to drop off eventually.
-
It's a bug, I'm sure. A couple of maps have things missing from generation. Yamaoka Jungle Gyms just don't spawn windows or pallets anymore.
-
It's a cool skin, but I don't know why it's an ultra rare. It doesn't change the character or any animations/effects afaik.
-
Constant wallhacks on marked survivors? That would be too strong.
I personally think Ghost Face Caught On Tape is a good addon, I don't get why people sleep on it so much. It lets you get stalks that you otherwise wouldn't be able to, especially in chase. The downside isn't super significant either considering that you shouldn't really be stalking without leaning in the first place.
-
I think Double Iri Myers is fine, personally, considering how long it takes to stalk to get Tier 3 with them. I think you have to stalk for a total of 2 and a half survivors worth of Evil, which takes forever. Plus, once he gets to Tier 3 you can just get into a locker.
-
Still no acknowledgement on this issue.
-
Freddy needs basically all of his addons updated, the majority of them are just so bad.
-
Ideas 1 and 2 would be really nice, and I think they should be added to the perk. It'd make the perk feel a lot better to use.
The cooldown is fine though, I think.
-
Honestly, if they made the reduction per stack 8 meters, it'd be useful sometimes without taking away from the theme of the perk. At 4 stacks you'd have no Terror Radius at all during a chase.
-
Someone's had a bad game or two. Maybe 50 judging by your tone.
-
@MandyTalk Any idea whether this is a bug or a feature?
-
I have no idea why it was even reworked into an Undetectable addon in the first place, it would've been good with a 32m default terror radius.
-
I guess it can sometimes be useful to know where hooks are, especially the basement. Running away from hooks when you know you're going to die anyway can be a good play. I don't think they should remove it, it doesn't hurt to have the info.
-
Honestly, you could make it give you an Emergency Medkit with a Gel Dressings addon and it'd probably still be balanced.
-
You can grab people off of Freddy's Alarm clocks, and letting go of the interaction doesn't instantly cancel it for the survivor.
-
I love playing against Legion, but it pains me whenever they basic attack a healthy person with Frenzy up.
-
At least your purple haemorrhage addon doesn't have a timer attached to it :(
-
"I sure hope he doesn't facecamp at 5 gens."

Stridor?? What use does this perk have now, really?
Stacking it with Jump Rope or Coarse Stone and hearing injured survivors like they're right in front of you from 16 meters away.
Does it do anything useful? No. Is it really funny? Yeah.
-
You can press F1 while in the lobby to open the character info, which contains their teachable perks and their backstory.
-
How hard do you have to get rolled to post a take like this? I hope this is bait.
-
Dead Hard really isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be, in the majority of situations it only buys the survivor a little more time. You can swing at an unexpected time and either catch people off guard and get a down, or force them to use it early and zone themselves away from a pallet/window (and get a down anyway).
I find Sprint Burst far more annoying, since it consistently gives survivors a lot of extra distance and makes pushing survivors off of generators a LOT more time consuming. I'd rather have 4 Dead Hards in a lobby than 2 Sprint Bursts.
Also yeah Blight is not an M1 killer at all.
-
You're 100% right about him being rare. He's the third least picked killer now, behind Twins and Cenobite.
Freddy's in a pretty sorry state, if you ask me. His power is pretty boring and snares feel pretty clunky. He has basically no good or interesting addons to vary his gameplay either.
He needs an addon pass, QoL changes, and most importantly a way to play my beloved Old Freddy again.
-
Overheat is just an annoying and unnecessary mechanic. His chainsaw doesn't need resource management, the cooldown for missing is punishment enough. It also takes up a bunch of addon slots that could be used for something far more creative than mitigating a mechanic that shouldn't exist.
The visuals behind overheat are pretty annoying too, I much prefer how he and his chainsaw sounded before his update. He didn't need a roar when starting a chainsaw sprint.

I know the game will not die but the most popular dbd people. Otz, Tru3 and Scott Jund are leaving dbd to play Elden Ring. When 3 of the most popular dbd YouTubers are leaving you know it’s bad when they leave.
Scott and Otz were leaving for Elden Ring regardless of how fun DBD is lol, they're die hard Souls fans.
