People are having unfun games. People are getting mad. People want to take it out on something. People take it out on other people in game. Repeat.

They made the perfect adjustment to Ghostface. His problem is that players feel like they have to bring recharge to feel competitive. This gives us flexibility to try other addons without feeling like we were DOA for not bringing chewed pen.

I think Memorial Flower going common was a huge buff. Vanity mirror will probably get just as much play as Scratched now that it’s buffed. I’m excited for the couple of adjustments for Myers.

How’d you feel about Hillbilly’s adjustments?
Oh yeah those exist. I mean there not bad. It's just I don't think it's gonna change the fact people won't play billy.

I recommend Deadlock as a Trickster perk! He's a slow killer so having a bit of passive map pressure will help you in the long run
Also part of Trickster's learning curve is knowing when not to use knives and/or when to break chase. Some structures Trickster is simply unable to easily handle due to his 110% movement speed and projectile based power.
You see I would use deadlock not only on Trickster but some of my other killers. Issue is. I don't have pinhead.
The issue I'm having is that most scenarios, it feels like I'm better off m1'ing.

Myers: eh. not disappointed. just expected tbh.
Spirit: Not disappointed. Confused on MD ring.
Deathslinger: Disappointed.
Blight: It was 1 addon.
Nurse; Simliar to myers. Not disappointed. Just kinda knew that it wasn't gonna be much.
Trapper: Happy.
Ghostface: He literally got nerfed by 1 sec.
Plague: Not sure. It's hard to say.
Oni: 1 addon.

So NFT is just a big bump in global warming to put it simply?
-
Side question: Does playing other FPS games help with aiming in this game?
-
Are you seriously insulting people who like the R.P.D?

Precisely.
Who knows what'll happen come Christmas? Will the game still be alive by then? Who shall say?
I'm pretty sure DbD won't die by the end of this year. Will the next chapter be buggy af? 100%.

We still have a few months to go.

I don’t think they’re going to be as bad as people say tbh. I guess we’ll see though.
I think the scratch mark one won't be as bad but the healing one is definitely gonna be a problem. A 3 gen situation will literally take more then an 1 hour cause the killer can't leave the gens but the survivor can go to the gen, take a hit, go to the other side of the map, heal, and go back in. The thing is, the survivors can beat the killer cause the base gen regression is bad.
-
I'm all for the buff for clairvoyance but I'm more hoping for the nerf on her boons. They still seem a bit dumb.
-
Probably passives. I kinda wish they did this for all killers tbh.

making him useless is lesser of two evils :)
but i'm sure there's a workaround - longer chainsaw cooldowns, inability to instadown near hooked survs, anything that wouldn't affect the actual chases much
It really isn't the lesser of two evils.
Something that I thought made sense was making the overheat mechanic more significant on bubba. Like he wouldn't go into tantrum at full overheat he just can't use his chainsaw for a bit. I still don't understand why hillbilly's overheat is more significant then bubba's. People say cause of the distance he can cover but Blight.
-
He is literally getting nerfed tomorrow. Also a cooldown or a charge system? Are we doing another hillbilly?
-
How have the rules changed? They said that 2k is a tie. Before that people said 2k is a tie. It always and still is considered a tie.
-
I mean I'm happy about the nerfs but I'm not excited for what's gonna happen because of the nerfs.

Isn't it day after?

Laugh out ######### loud. I want you to realize just how dumb your response is.
how is it dumb? Is genrushing not doing gens fast?
-
Swamp. I hate that map so much. I don't like farm or Haddonfield but I always manage a 2k at least. With swamp even if I get a 4k I won't feel good about it cause that map is so awful.

I'm sorry, this is a machine translation, so I may not be able to convey it well.
And the Roman alphabet is well conveyed. Thank you.
Killer attacks normally with the M1 button (left mouse click).
Replace this with knife throwing done with M2 + M1.
In other words, the knife is held from the beginning, and the M1 button is used to throw the knife, and if you hold it, it will keep throwing.
When the knife stock is 0, you can hit it with the M1 button.
I don't think this should be added because an m1 is a universal basic attack on all killers.
It will also be much harder to play Trickster. They would have to buff his knive count or something else in his kit.
By the way, what do people in JP think of Trickster? Most people in EN hate Trickster.

Gen rushing is doing the objective to the best of your abilities.
Yes that is what genrushing is.
-
Is saying genrushing an excuse for bad players? Sure some of them say that sure. But is genrushing a thing? Yes.

Lmao us vs them at its finest. Why can’t both sides just come together and acknowledge both sides have problems and not call everyone trash? Community would be so much better.
Doesn't the title literally have the Us. Vs Them mentally in it?

DS Part: Agree
Legion part: this i will go into detail about. Legion will use his power and go for either one survivors or 2-4 survivors. Now if you down someone you instantly fatigue so it will add in a decision you have to make, which is to either down him or go pressure the others. and if you down you instantly go into fatigue, the fatigue is 1.5x as long and the power will recharge 1.5x slower. and its normal if you hit all 4 survivors or any amount of survivors.
Isn't that old Legion but better?
-
Pretty sure that legion has the exact same vault as survivors so when they vault they lose all momentum.
-
You clearly are salty. I understand why you aren't happy but if you know your MMR is high: What did you expect. You think they were gonna play nice? The 5th anniversary clearly showed that people will genrush if their is good bp offerings.
-
DS: I don't know man. The main thing about DS being abused was the gens, unhooking. Maybe you can keep the healing idea but the unhooking 100% should stay.
Legion buff: You need to explain more. All you said was legion's power can down which doesn't really make sense no matter what.
-
- I don't understand what your saying / Nani o Itteiru no wakarimasen
- I would like that, seeing more variety in his kit.
- I would like that but it would definitely be part of a skin rather then an addon.
In general I like Trickster but he has a bit of an issue of not being liked by most people. He is also very difficult on console (PS4, Switch, Xbox).
I'm sorry if I mispelled or said the romanji incorrectly.

As long as there's no retcons like the previous tomes.
I wish we don't see smth like "Oh, Trickster had remorse all this time" or some BS like that. It happened with Nurse and it sucked.
Yun-Jin... I dunno. She's got the most intriguing lore out of the entire survivor roster right now and I wouldn't mind seeing her inner struggles as a professional producer but also a human being at the same time.
IIRC The lore for trickster had him actually feel bad about the NO SPIN group dying in the fire afterwards. Then later he stopped feeling bad and went on a bit of a spree.
-
I agree. It's not fun. But it's counterable.
-
He's not weak but does need one big change. Fix his zombie AI. Outside of that he isn't really faithful to Nemesis but that's not balance.

Because Bubba cannot sprint across the Map with 230% Movement Speed.
The Overheat is justified, Billy had and still has the best mobility in the game and an fairly easy to use Instadown. It should be obvious that a Killer who is called "the most balanced Killer" by the Community in 2018 is not "the most balanced Killer" in 2020 when the game got much easier for Killer.
And I think, more people would play Billy if they would revert the changes to his animation and fix the size of his Chainsaw-Hitbox. It is massive, which is frustrating as Survivor, but also makes him crush into things far more often.
But the animations and the FOV are the main things. Second can be somewhat fixed with Shadowborn (at least my Billy-experience got better after using Shadowborn), but it is a Perk Slot for something which was not needed before.
Yes but camping. You can literally hold your chainsaw so much more then hillbilly can.
The Overheat wasn't made for the mobility it was for the constant use at loops iirc. Also most people said that hillbilly was still considered balanced even in 2020 except for the addons. Not the basekit. The addons.
I'm pretty sure people will play hillbilly more if they fixed animation and fixed hitboxes but It won't bring back that many due to addon's being kinda bad.

I'll be honest, I've come around on camping only because people are right it is hard not to when you KNOW those survivors are in that area. Tunneling too tbh, neither are a problem.
And LOL I WISH XX I only made this post because it's so bad they are doing it the WHOLE GAME.
Like I kid you not the worst was the lady with traps, a whole team wiped after her facing and slugging the survivor with all her little things that make you run and MISS the hook by a lot. So even if she had a cool down she guranteed the kill and that first person NEVER got off the hook.
I had that quick unhook and heal because of unhooking, an offering burned that made the hooks further apart, AND a hook sabotage kit that only confused her for a second. She ignored me to chase the injured person. Still got them on a hook even after a pre-emptive sabotage. It's unreal.
Ok this is a bit hard to read so I might be wrong. So what your saying is a hag (Lady with triangle trap that spawns her phantoms) beat your team and tunneled? If so then that means you had a very uncoordinated team including you. Granted your playing by yourself and not with friends so it makes sense especially if your new. That's kinda Hag's thing being a pub stomper.
As for the tunneling: If the killer is tunneling there are multiple things to counter them.
Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Doing gens efficiently, and running the killer for a long time. Tunneling is effective but it becomes significantly weaker at high level.
The fact that it happens every game probably means your at the lower MMR or at the higher MMR. Your most likely at the lower MMR cause High MMR is literally just Blight, Nurse, and Spirit.
Side Note: The offering that makes hooks further apart does almost nothing on most maps,
Side Side Note: You have We'll Make It (The quick heal unhook perk) but you sabotaged the hook first?
-
Rework him to old freddy but with some buffs. Such as the projection and better addons.
-
He went from mid B to maybe top C.
-
Either Pinhead or Twins.
Twins: A lot of slugging. It's guaranteed every match.
Pinhead: It's literally a better clown. Which isn't fun.
-
Pretty much 1/3 of these.
-
Maybe reduce the range of the bell but that's all I can think of.
-
They all should. The better question was which one should be reworked first.
-
I want to say yes but I feel like no one would run it then. Maybe if they made it a bit harder to find then yes.
-
It's not that big of a difference.
-
I like Endgame perks, but I have to run gen perks. If we're not counting endgame collapse, You at most get around 80 seconds. Which is not long enough to be do significant damage to the survivor if they all are alive and aren't bad.
-
Do I think Spirit should have been nerfed? Yes. Should she receive some sort of a buff in exchange? Maybe. It depends on how bad it is on live.
-
I don't like being guaranteed not being able to kill everyone. The same goes vice versa when I play survivor.
-
Why do people say removed. Are you suggesting that David just doesn't have a 3rd perk anymore? When people say they should remove Ruin that Hag only has 2 teachables?
-
As long as the release the rest of the blight skins and the events don't suck then I don't mind.
-
He's not awful but he definitely is not good.

And I can't say if you're flat out wrong. I'd rather make sure I understand exactly what you were asking while providing to you with a summary of what they revealed.
Then what was the point of the "Wdym". Also didn't they say that the killer one is more complicated in the Q&A ?
-
I'm getting people who are in groups and they definitely aren't new. So it might just be your MMR.
-
@Bwsted said:
They revealed it because a good chunk of the system was leaked by dataminers. It was more a confirmation than a revelation.
Wdym with they didn't reveal killers and it's more complicated? They did reveal it. Killer gets more point for the first kills and it decreases with subsequent kills. Points are higher for killing survivors with higher mmr's. It's not more complicated than survivors'. The difference is that the latter lose fewer points for not dying first/second etc. And they're considered to be playing a single 1v1 instead of four at once.
Both sides can manipulated the system by dying/not killing on purpose. It's not unique to survivors.
I mean. I asked if I'm flat out wrong. DIdn't say that I was right.
