It's because consoles are poorly optimized and the "Animation Enhancement" thing the devs have. I wonder how many Survivors will start complaining that Killers are hitting them too often once the game is optimized for consoles and the "Animation Enhancement" BS is fixed.
What s your explanation behind auto aim being the cause?

I don't know how it is on the console, but on pc you can get the most of them if they are on 90 degrees to your left, or right, very easilie.
Had something to do with the facerolling over the keyboard... rhm... sorry... fingerrolling over the keyboard that have survs to do for this.
It looks poorly and it is a cheap try to not get hitten imo, but the counterplay is also very easy.
With base attack its easy but not with a chainsaw.

I miss old RM. I don't see why the change couldn't be reverted, they could have it deactivate if there's only one survivor remaining if that's the concern.
The thing is i dont a difference between 30 s and 50 s for that last survivor.

No. Even if a killer brings their best perks, addons and offerings - it is still inferior to the best perks, addons and offerings that a survivor could bring.
Add SWF into the mix and the survivors are the stronger role.
Then you re just bad as you clearly cant think of what those op items can do and cant weaken them all.

If a killer were to bring an ebony mori or the few strong add ons that's the only thing I can think of that would make them powerful. However you get yelled at for being a try hard.
Meanwhile, survivors bring every crutch perk at their disposal, keys, offerings the whole nine yards and that is somehow considered the norm.
How come killer is the only side being told how to play?
Why would you even listen to what other people telling you to do? Thats your problem.

Third Seal? Afflicts blindness after hitting someone and only after hitting them. Blindness is a useless status effect that's easily countered or removed unless against solos. And it's a Hex perk, meaning it can be removed at any time.
Lullaby? Only really a danger at full stacks. All those hooks needed AND it's a Hex perk.
Thrill of the Hunt? Not worth the perk slot unless you're very adamant on a hex build, which if you care about your pip you don't do.
Should I go on.
Survivors on comms are not considered to be in a game. Thats why we have perks that gets crushed by comms.
Hex can easily gain strength if you bring all of them in as one will stay for sure and considering all hexes are strong its clearly strong build.
So lullaby is strong. The thing is its strong only on Doctor.
Thrill of hunt can save you a hex how come its not strong?

Yeah, that's why Moris are unfun and so are tryhard squads
No. Im talking about balance of the game. How come killers still do good against "cheating"? That says much about balance.

@leyzyman said:
Here me out no bait:
If a killer decides to use all the strongest things, he can, in fact, become more powerful than the survivors.
Now, do killers want to play like this? Most want to play killer with chases in mind. The problem is that if a killer plays fair (follows the way the game wants the killer to play), then it is set up for a 1v1.
So in the end, yes: killers can in fact be more powerful. But most dont like that, as it feels not fun to get only brutal killer after getting a 4k.
Tl;dr killers are overpowered when you put on the strongest things, and not the fun things.
What would be fun?
-
@memiieko said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/136344/killers-can-be-overpowered
If I ran all second chance perks or that with exhaustion and I pulled up in my 4-man squad with 4 toolboxes with brand new parts, survivor would be pretty overpowered too... That's kinda the reason that the things they have are in rarity
Killer with mori would still do well against what is not suppose to be in a game. Survivors on comms.
-
You re just bad. At the moment i m failing to see any weak hex. Also you didnt say anything as to why they are weak which just proves that you re bad.

@Cheers said:
I feel the exactly the same way.
These perks are meant to be risk-reward styled, but some of them, such as Third seal, are absolutely useless.
I dont think its useless . Just not as strong as the others and just the only reason i dont take it its because it requires you to use basic attack .
-
Is there any reward?

Any map that blocks my vision. The worse map would be Yamaoka. On the positive note whenever i see maps like Haddonfield, Preschool, Auto heaven , Lery, Theatre and any map where i can see things clear it puts a smile on my face and makes me feel bad for survivors...

I mean, I still find killer the much more enjoyable side to play. I mean I even stopped playing survivor with my Girlfriend to just play killer because killer is a 1000 times less stressful for me.
I find survivor extremely stressful, because my enjoyment is based completely on how the killer decides to play. I don't run second chance perks (while borrowed time, but that doesn't help me) so if a killer decides to tunnel, camp or slug, I basically have to lay on the ground or hook, which is just about as exciting as pressing M1 for 80 seconds at a time.
Last night I had a bubba that basically just proxy camped all game and because we just wanted to have fun playing with each other, we tried to go for a save (yes technically the wrong call, but its freaking boring to watching a friend essential unable to play the game). After he got everyone on hook, I managed to 4%... This dude literally slugged me and went AFK for 4 minutes.
Super fun times...
There s a reason he s camping killer. And i like actually playing him and against.

Just so everyone know because it seems not clear but this was not in the recent 3.6.0 patch notes. Remember me has been changed long time ago in the 2.7.0 patch note when we released the EGC. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/61785/patch-notes-2-7-0-mid-chapter#latest
So what was the thing behind nerfing remember me? 30 seconds or 50 seconds that last survivor is screwed anyway.

Alternatively, always make the last Survivor the Obsession.
Either 30 seconds or 50 seconds. Either way no chance. Even with base time there s almost no chance.
-
@DocFabron said:
Cause of EGC.
If killer closed hatch and the survivor had to open exits, they'd have no chance.
Tbh all they had to do was make it not activate if the hatch is closed...
There s no difference between old 50 seconds and new 30 seconds. Either way its too long. So why it was nerfed ? Would be interesting to hear dev team answer.

Thats nonsense. The killer is still able to do anything he wants, while survivors getting tunneled cannot do anything besides trying to run away, or can just look at the killer while being on hook. You just showed the ultimate bias in your post.
Survivor can juke killer. Survivors even have 2 chances to juke if he has ds. You just showed your little knowledge of a game.

Hillbilly obviously does counter it easily, along with alot of the other already top tier killers, all because they have mobility (and in hillbilly's case a one shot, so the hit speed isn't a problem) in some form or another, those are fine. The question is, whats with those that don't have that and the main point, how are you zoning or mindgaming a survivor, that gets hit and runs to the other side of the map while you recover if you don't have mobility or a 1 shot? If they drop pallets and its safe you have to destroy it, letting them to gain distance equal to half of a map if they just hold forward and keep running with no counter, except for following them for 15-20s. If you don't destroy it people will just come back and use it since its safe. If the pallet is extremly unsafe then it may as well not exist, but we know that most of the pallets except for certain maps are more safe than they are risky for the survivors. Even if you zone them into a deadzone, you get a hit off, and then they gain a 20s headstart into a safe zone again. People camping pallets is indeed very VERY bad. But people running to the other side of a map during a pallet break or hit stun and then drop it for more distance gain arguably more time than a decent to good looper against a good killer, with no counterplay to it.
well i know that leatherface cant do much there you re right about that one as for others you may i dont know

Just record your games or find streamer game you played against.

What does any of this have to do with SWF, the ones who WILL use it to abuse it? Head On is fine in solos, as is OoO. But with a SWF? Completely different story. And so is the new sabo. This just makes me further believe that the devs truly turn a blind eye to SWF.
as long as there s a weak link in a team its not hard to apply pressure

Leatherface Facecamping. join the party... and be ready to destroy the last fun of the game in this toxic community!

I'm not disagreeing with you, but the Ruin nerf was part of a bigger problem, the Gen speed.
Any killer can be strong, and buffed yes, but against a decent team, 2 good loopers and 2 stealthies that only do gens and it's a GG.
Again, not disagreeing, I'm just saying.

The problem is there is nothing skillfull you can do as a killer, its not a big problem if 1 does it since you can just switch targets, but what do you do if 2,3 or even all 4 do it? How do you counter holding W with almost half of the killer cast, except for looking for another survivor, which takes time and them just doing the same after you hit them, you have to commit eventually otherwise nothing happens. I play 30/70 survivor so I am not the best but still ok at it and everytime I hold W after a pallet/hit its guaranteed that a gen or two pop before the killer catches me with no skill from my part required until I actually get to a loop (and also only if its not a god loop ofc). Had one survivor game where I could see atleast two other survivors doing the same against a pig and even tho she was really good at loops and downed one of the W holding survivors super fast on it, holding W extended the chase long enough for 2 gens to pop. If she switched targets the other survivor and me would have just done the same. And again, this is all just from holding 1 button, if the survivors aren't braindead or new thats 20s of free stalling, followed by gameplay that the killer has any influence in. That is alot of wasted time when 30-40s chases are required against good survivors.
As hillbilly i never have issues with that as he s full of mindgaming around pallets . Also zoning.
As for other killers i dont know ask them. But i guess they just dont break pallet and stack bloodlust and do zoning as well. It works for every killer. Also you should be aware of next loop they may approach and should know whether its safe or not. And that question of yours is really dumb sorry. What if they just drop pallet ? cause its usual behaviour to me i dont expect them to be not able to do that if there s clearly one in my sight.

Specific exploits that we will ban for until they are resolved:
- Bloodweb Progress/Prestige Exploit
- 2+ Killer Exploits
- Spasmodic Breath Nurse speed exploit
They ban for stupid reasons i agree. The same goes for forum bans.

@LetsPlayTogether said:

No. The Killers job is to kill all survivors, and not to prevent one survivor from playing the game. tunneling and camping needs to go. Nothing can justify this bs.
By consistently staying on gens you doing the same to killers. Your cant see that because your logic is one sided. The same way you re not suppose to try to finish gens that already in progress.
-
Where s any official word of them that its bannable?
-
There s no official statement of banning someone for using specific addons since you wont tell what those addons are. At this point you re just a trashtalker.
-
Its good as is. You can save up heal state by doing basically nothing.

i don't speak about use total broken killer like nurse (i love old nurse & new nurse are dead for me after her unfair nerf...) New nurse are bad she have double stuns, cant hit survivors "when person in front of you" after blink, she cant blink in places where she blink before nerf, all !!! not only 1 addon are buggy AF & not work normal, her new power recharge system its bad i understand why peoples stop play on her...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1145644#Comment_1145644
Also abusing bugs for an advantage don't should be bannable. I agree what its "bad" but devs must fix game bugs... We pay money for game, new skins, dlc's or archives...
Flying Hillbilly is there since launch & DEVS don't do any with what (i play from 2016)... I don't speak about exploit bug: by bumping with x1 or x2 "speed adds" in spec. objects in map fly to see a stars ⭐️ or get on main build roof... its real bug & devs must fix or just remove "speed adds" till not fix bug)... Also i never use 'space" Hillbilly in public matches... We just one time try in KYF with a friends to avoid random "space" fly's in public matches... Peoples are toxic & they always abuse report system become die or not like killer....
I just want to know or i can use him (M2 power) to just jump from any big hill or object to get on high places (like: loops, cars or same) where any survivor can get up... ??? i don't speak about "space" fly's on main building roof with "speed adds" ...
Yes you can but there are basically none. Sometimes on gas haven map you may have a loop close to ladder. That seems to be the only common place for me as i dont play with engravings myself. Also survivors will just abandon loop as soon as they see you trying to do that most times.

It should absolutely be bannable if you're intentionally doing it for an advantage.
Which is why they post warnings in game for things like that (legion blade exploit for example), so that people are aware that they are exploiting an issue.
If they cant or wont disable it, telling people,"hey this isnt supposed to do this, if you abuse it, you will be banned" seems a logical recourse.
You just bumping off the objects because you having insane speed. Thats not an exploit.
-
@Deadeye said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1145598#Comment_1145598
Intentionally abusing bugs for an advantage should be bannable. That would require reports from the "victims" and if you are reported multiple times for the same thing, this should be a ban. Although I agree that buggy addons and perks should be simply deactivated. That's simple to do unlike bugs with the environment or any mechanics which can happen on every map or with every killer / survivor
who in the hell told you it was exploit?

It's getting really tiring at this point. Everywhere I go on this forum I see crap like this:
Someone has an idea? "The devs won't do this because they only care about 💲💰🤑"
Someone reports or asks about a bug? "This probably won't get fixed until half a year later because bhvr is [insert role] biased 🤡🤡"
Any balance change (or even a bugfix) is made? "See? They only cater to entitled [insert role] mains ☺️☺️"
Like, holy hell. I get that y'all are frustrated about the balance and how changes are made very slowly but have you ever considered that making a working 1vs4 game is VERY HARD and it will never be perfect? Not to mention that Behaviour is not a gigantic AAA game company.
Changes will come to both sides in time. The devs aren't ignoring either of them. Stop making every single thing into an "us vs them". Feel free to tell your opinions and criticism to the devs but stop assuming they only care about one side. If that was the fact, the game would be dead already.
You can see/hear people talking / posting things like this everywhere. Its just regular people with biased opinion.

Doctor
If you run bbq, whispers, corrupt and pop while being able to consistently put survivors into tier 3 for most of the match then doc has insane stall to finish off the survivors because no one can do tens except possible for 2. Whispers is on there so it will always be a guaranteed tier up for madness on a survivor possibly putting them in tier 3 when their on a gen allowing you to pop it or kick it and chase them forcing gens to go slower.
Im sorry but Doc is no match for all the killers that were listed here . Not even close 😂
-
New doc is good. Before rework it was almost impossible to break a chase against him . He d always know where are you.
-
Any strong one of all the killers. You just need to choose one you dont really hate weak spots of.
-
Hillbilly. As there are no map he feels disadvantage at. Extremely good at finding survivors. Insane map pressure. New ruin fits him the best and basically can win you a losing game if it stays. Has an instant down therefore survivors cant save each other during a chase by simply taking a hit. New incoming perk that allows them to share health states will hurt every killer and feels meh against Billy. Incomnig sabotage will not hurt Billy much or at all.
-
Good idea

Have you ever played survivor and been camped/tunneled? It's the most unfun thing ever.
The only fun part of playing survivor is getting into a chase that lasts a decent amount of time. It's LITERALLY the only fun part of playing survivor. When the person playing killer loses sight of that the game easily takes a nose dive as far as fun.
And what is fun for the opposite side ? Killing. Exactly. Dying sucks especially in this genre as survivor because you will die fast if you did bad/got in the wrong place no matter what. If you cant understand that feel yourself like a gen. It doesnt live long the same way you live as a single survivor and if you really cant stand that id advise you to play killer. As a killer you will stay in a game till the end no matter losing or winning.
