Call me when deep wound is worth using first.

Nope. Nope. Nope.
I don't give a ######### what my "teammates" (i only solo) think about my perks, what i should run, etc.
Problem is those ######### will be keen to ######### at me if they see what they don't like, and will ######### at me until is is what they like. Or sandbag me.
This game needs to remain one where you can theoretically run any perks as a survivor and be ok.
Edit: I have an idea, though.
SWF cannot see the perks of solo survivors, but solo survivors can see SWF perks.
This allows solos to synergize if they want, and SWF can't be more obnoxious than they are already. -

Good question. If it's the new lol we are going to lose it soon. Haha
I use it sincerely. -
That does it! Basement style hooks every 10 meters! Unbreakable!
Jeffs destruction perk, and Jake's sabotage can go boink themselves! -
Had 2 games so far (not a ton of time to play), one as trapper doing ritual (got that done to my surprise), and one as min trying to do the bugged 180 seconds coop challenge. Didn't get the 180 second dealie done, though.
In both cases survivors that weren't me were practically suicidal. -

Gen rush galore.
When 4 survivor with WGLF work on the same gen, do they all get the stack when they finish? :sarcastic:
And do you realize how hard it is for one survivor to do, what does wglf stack to, 4? One survivor doing 4 gens?
No, odds are against a survivor getting all the stacks just doing gens. -

Funny, I've had survivors run to a corner of the map where there are no hooks near by. At least a recent surge of it.
I slug them, and watch them bleed out. -
Yes? No? Maybe?
-
There is no real counter aside from NOED, or Rancor, and catching them away from the exit point.
By the time they're doing this, bloodwarden is useless because good luck dragging a survivor out.
Could pair blood warden and NOED, drop one of the #########, and hook them activating blood warden, but you may as well have an end game build dedicating half your perks to it.
Could just do something else entertaining, and afk while you let them waste their time.
Or you could swallow your pride, and do what they want in chasing them out, and even then they may just stay to harass more.
There really needs to be a timer that runs similar to the Pigs reverse bear trap timer.
If there is no altruism to be had, and the gates are open, the timer is ticking. Leave in 3 minutes, or be sacrificed automatically as the bubble the map in gets recycled/reset.
If they find a way to abuse it, walk it back to when the last generator is done.
Or maybe make the gates more fair because of how ridiculously safe they are for survivors.
Exposed status.
Maybe even standing Mori like Myers.
As it is, it's pretty pointless for the average killer to even be near the gate.
Lets hope the devs fix the end game sooner than later. -
Probably level wraith since bloodhound is going to be useful with legion.
Help pig out.
There is the hard decisions. Chew through high level blood webs hoping for rng, or prestige, lose everything, and chew through low level blood webs and hope for rng.
Doesn't help i have holiday leftovers i want to keep.
Could really test out if Legion is a blood point farming machine, and level legion up to try and get distressing, thrill of the hunt, amd beast of prey going.
Don't have bbq, and not super hopeful on pinning things on hooking people. Haha -
One bit of advice is basically always use the blade wipe to your advantage if it comes down to it.Ayakira said:Mmm. That's fair. I didn't actually think about the blade wipe. At all. Probably something I would've thought about if I played a killer at all! But like I said in my original post, I'm waiting to get The Spirit for that. But hey, thanks for the advice, that's actually really helpful.
Also take advantage of the time between killer attacks in general.
Even if they miss they need time to hit again unless they have perks, or powers that allow for otherwise.
If a killer is camping a survivor, take a hit, or make them swing at you, and unhook during the blade wipe, or their missed strike animation.
Little things like that will help.
The spirit is a pretty amazing killer.
I would invest in some earphones, though. When using her power you can only see the scratches and hear the sounds of survivors, so listening for survivors becomes even more important. -
Yes, slipping on the ice would be bad.Arsoul said:Salt Salt Salt

I feel like you did everything right except that you tried to jump into the hatch that way. You should have stood on it until he hit you, then went in during the blade wipe.
I wouldn't say the game is biased towards killers, rather the game was biased to the player of the killer having more experience. At least in this case.
There are lots of times when the gates are at the far ends of the map, or I stumbled across a freshly opening hatch that seemed to want to appear right next to me.

If you don't see an aura, there is supposed to be a survivor near.
With distortion, and lockers blocking BBQ, killers will likely get false results.Kinda unfair to blame the killer for that.

Use aura reading to find a survivor you haven't hooked, go after them, hook, get more BP.
The aura reading helps the main event. The BP getting. -

I'm not going to pretend it's great, or fun, or anything.
I mean on one hand as a survivor, I'm either "aw, man. Why?" Or "lawl. Ok, I deserved that. Hope i distracted the killer enough. " or some such.
As a killer, I'm usually "damn, end game is here," or "fine, you want to be an annoying distraction? Well, here you are." -

There is no hard, fast, simple answer. The motives are as numerous as how many times Megs booty got slapped by a killer, and then some.
For some, it's because there's 1 gen left, or the gates are powered.
For some, the survivor made them mad.
Maybe you're too much trouble?
Maybe the killer has a sacrifice ritual?
In general, for some strange reason, it's going to be worth it to the killer.

Downplaying SWFs isn't going to work well when there's people constantly being burned by them, or annoyed at the least. I mean you're generally dismissing their experiences.Peanits said:I've gone up against quite a few four man groups that just ended up being a couple friends casually playing the game, no more challenging than four complete strangers. I'd even go as far as to say that the super coordinated maximum efficiency groups are the vast minority. I get the intention, but I don't think I should get 50% bonus bloodpoints just for playing against a group of average players.
I also think that might cause other issues, namely with matchmaking. Killer already provides much more plentiful and easily obtained bloodpoints as is. Throw an extra 50% on top of that and we're talking a ton of points even for losing. You're going to have a lot more people than there already are playing killer just for the bloodpoints, which is going to further throw off the ratio of killers to survivors and draw up queue times. If something is unbalanced, I feel like it should be balanced, not brushed under the rug by incentives like bloodpoints.
And making matters worse is that the SWF usually have a far easier game than 4 solos would.
It's entirely possible for a killer to end up with less than 10k in points, and the only reasons they might make more, seemingly, is because they are always in the trial.
A survivor would make less for doing less, or dying sooner, but they can hit the next trial faster.
Survivors surviving can easily end up with as much, or more blood points compared to the killer.
I mean bonus blood points for facing an swf won't throw things off.
If that were the case we would see way more killers because they have 3 or 4 perks that give blood point bonuses.
Surely if blood points were going to make a difference in balance, we'd likely see it thanks to those.
Especially since survivors only have 2, wglf and another that only works once when the gens are done.

Dunno.

I loathe playing against doctors. They have immense tracking ability, and usually have zero chill.
He's pretty solidly a killer I'd like to avoid.
Playing as him seems ok, but I haven't, seriously. -
Fighting Legion? Stay at the edge of the terror radius or beyond, and save your exhaustion perk for when they try to get close.
Juke them and take advantage that the scratch marks are gone in frenzy mode.
Split up. Despite legion's powers there's only 1 target at a time.
Pallet slams still work.
Locker dodge. Exposed is meaningless when in Frenzy.

But yes it is frustrating and after all these years there should be a mechanic that would prevent such a hostage taking.
With some simple checklist the devs could easily determine if the survivors are stalling/taking hostage the game, what IS reportable by their standards.
I would love to put the survivors on a clock after a gate is powered, somewhat of 60-180s after that the gates close/exit getting blocked. So they have to make a decision. Do I stay for extra BP and killer shenanigans or do I just leave. If you want to put on a real incentive let them lose their BP after that time frame. Part of it, all of it. And after the time is up your aura gets revealed, no lockers, exposed and Mori-able. You clearly had your chance to escape but you chose to die. Please tell me how it is hostage taking when you can fully hit the survivors? lol
Just leave, you are just stalling.
How would you like to be down in front of the exit/hatch, all the other survivors are down or dead and all you can do is crawl to an exit or wait to bleed out. Each time you are close to escape the killer picks you up and put you back down, a bit further from the exit. All you can do is wait to bleed out.
And now imagine there is no bleed out. You have to wait until the killer gets bored and let you go.
I don't really take you seriously Either.
I never blamed swfs for being at rank 15, I blame them for being full of ######### more often than not.
its a casual video game and people are getting upset that survivors want to tease the killer a little bit in an exit gate.

Anything is possible.
They may be dropping the ball on licensed killers (still no freddy rework, and Pig use a hand), but I will have a better idea based on what they do with legion.
This would be maybe the second way too weak killer thry have to fix up after the Spirit?
They pull up out of Legions nose dive, and yeah, I figure they have a chance. If not, then, well, their treatment of their own killers will be too hit and miss, Imo. -
