See, it's not that I don't want Feng to get a crop top, I just don't want her to get cosmetics in general. She already has enough, and the more cosmetics she gets, the more people will be tempted to play her. That is bad for my sanity because I hate playing against her and her "nails on a chalkboard" voice.

I think people on this forum need to really chill out. From what I've seen, a lot of people who don't want Fanf tend to act more childish than the fictional Fanf fans they keep mentioning.

While I agree with the sentiment that is should be a celebration of RE as a whole, that just isn't really possible. The series is one of the longer series in terms of horror games and it was never going to fit all of it in. They never would've been able to celebrate it as a whole, and the same could be said about most licenses in the game right now. No matter what there would be a crowd with someone complaining that a character they like didn't make it in. RE as a whole has such a wide cast of characters and monsters that they never would've been able to celebrate it as a whole, and like they did with Silent Hil, celebrating the beginning of the series and what started it all gives the most respect to the community as a whole.
I would have just made the map the Village from Re4, one survivor be from the earlier games (Claire, Jill, Leon, etc), the other survivor be Chris with cosmetics that change his appearance to all of the different games he's been in, and lastly have the killer be from Re7 or 8. Or you could really just make it whatever order you want. I just think it's unfair how they only pulled stuff from Re2 + 3 (with 4 only getting one cosmetic).
At the very least, we should have gotten way more legendary skins for all of the missing characters.

As a long time RE fan i wanted og chars. Birkin would have worked as he is also kind of a tyrant. They could still bring Rebecca, Ada, Hunk or Barry.
RE 7 and 8 are good but still no "real" RE. Will probably change for younger generations.
And how exactly is 7+8 not "real" Resident Evil? What the hell even is "real Re"?

Secondly would be Resident Evil 8, but with Heisenberg as the killer, not Lady D.

Yeah, that sucks too, but at least Re4 got a cosmetic. I personally think the village from that game along with the one from 8 could have made for a way better map than the R.P.D.

personally as an RE fan I think they did the chapter fine but the way they did nemesis was almost the exact opposite of what I wanted. In terms of the newer games, while they definitely could've been used, I think nemesis and the OG cast is more iconic, even though the new games were popular too.
The Re chapter should have been a celebration of Resident Evil as a whole, not just the first three games in my opinion. While Nemesis is probably the most iconic Re monster, he (along with the other Tyrants), was absolutely the worst pick for the Re killer. William Birkin, Dr. Saddler, Jack Baker, and Karl Heisenberg all would have made for much better options.

Games? Hmm. I'd have to say Fanf, Outlast, and most importantly, Resident Evil 7 + 8.
It was criminal how Behavior completely neglected both of those games when they made the Re chapter.

Did you forget fnaf 3? spring trap literally has guts visible inside him. And the lore is literally a child murderer making robots that he then kills kids then stuff them into to get them to be possessed then dismantle them on a mission for immortality. So labeling fnaf as "for children" is far from correct. Also you forgot the first games death screen has human eyes peeking out of the suit so there is gore there, the second talking about a part of someone's head getting bitten off, minigames that shows someone killing a child and a different on giving life to dead bodies.
Also for the part of "doesn't fit in" like bruh we have survivors running around in onsies, as a present/elf, people without shirts, a penguin outfit and hell even a kpop star. You telling me that really fits in a game that's supposed to be classified as "horror"?
Exactly. Like, do people really think DbD is some mature, gory, insanely scary game or something? Personally, I'd actually say it's less scary than playing any of the Fanf games.

The old one was way better in my opinion. It felt unique. The new one is just so... Bland.
The new animations don't bother me as much, but I still think the old ones were better. Or at the very least, the new ones still need some polishing.

While i'm personally all for more indoor maps, i don't think everyone would be a fan of the overlook hotel as a map considering the tight corridors and how extensive the whole map would be, and that's not even including the outside area.
Well that's thing, just take some liberties and make most of the map outside in the snow storm, and have only some of the map be inside the Overlook.

I admit I haven't read too many of King's books, but I still really like his work.
For a killer, I'd have to say either Jack Torrance or Pennywise. If I had to pick, Jack, though I really like both.
I know Jack is just a guy with an axe, but honestly, I kinda want more human-like killers like Legion and Trickster instead of big, monstrous powerhouses like Trapper and Huntress or deformed monsters like Hag and Blight.
Plus, the Overlook would be a fantastic map if done well.
