  • I main Legion... now excuse me, but I'm going to cry in the corner.

  • Devs want her to be M1 killer and your perfect pressure as her and long chases

Yeah but Legion loses his power when he's NOT using his power.

    Yes and no for Ghostface:

Ghostface power does not lose 50% of charge if he attacks when not using it. Legion does

Ghostface takes himself out of stealth if he attacks; this is fair enough. It does not give him a 5 year stun like Legion.

Ghostface loses his stalk on a Survivor if he HITS them before it's a 100% stalk. This is a fair trade-off. Legion loses 50% of his ability's charge if he hits ANYONE. This is bad balance since his ability cannot one-shot & cannot incap (because survivors can mend at some point in the next decade so they don't go down)

Oh you mean that when he just M1 someone. I thought you meant that during FF when he misses he is losing it (why I even thought like that). Can't argue more.

Devs: So… you can't down someone during FF?

    Legion: Yes...

Devs: So you can't use ability after u hit someone, because you can't down him with it?

    Legion: YES!

Devs: Ok, so now lose your power gauge after normal hit.

    Legion: Wait...

Devs: Now go chase people that are just 10 meters away from you with your pathetic FF duration and speed

  • @Locker_Monster said:

    Basically:

You can't use Feral Frenzy to apply map pressure: The stun is too long. (I meant stun, not cooldown, above)

You can't use Deep Wounds to slow down gen repairs: You can ignore it until the last second since actively mending = never incap.

You can't attack: You lose Feral Frenzy charge.

So what is the point of Legion? Attacking drains his power, and his power is garbage.

Some killers and survivors say Legion's point in the game is to "slow" down a game. But to be honest I've never seen his DW to slow down a game. Every time I finished chase, everyone I hit during FF were already mended and ending healing.

His mending isn't even slowing game in 20-15 rank so…

You can't even down someone with DW... Through my entire time with Legion I downed only 2 people that somehow didn't thought about mending (started playing game after Legion nerf)

    @Locker_Monster said:

Reduce power cooldown by 1 second.

Just 1. Just 1 tiny second.

    Remove power-loss on attack.

Seriously. WHY is Legion the ONLY Killer that actually loses his active powers charge when he does what killers do; attack. What made ANYONE think this was a good idea? I mean, if his power could actually DOWN someone; fine. But it can't. So remove this.

Allow the Deep Wounds to incap while self-mending!

If someone is being mended by a teammate; it does not incap. But if they are self-mending, it should incap. A punishment for being too slow to heal. As it is, Survivors can literally ignore the timer until the last second, then start mending themselves. So how does this slow down a match at all when it's 99% ignorable?

Seriously. 3 changes & Legion is in a good place. Why is he still a joke? I want to buy them. I want to enjoy them. But they are not worth the price of the DLC in their current state. They are useless and attacking actively drains their power by 50%, for a power that can't even incap & can be ignored for 99% of its timer.

Isn't GhostFace losing his power after missed attack too?

With rest I can 100% agree. Less cooldown and more dangerous DW effect would be neat. I would also buff his duration, because it's a joke too

  • @immortalls96 said:

Well 1..nobody uses culorophobia lol, NOBODY uses dying light lol, sloppy ok but..insta heals negate all of these..not to mention we'll make it , botany alone negates thana and sloppy together almost..

Culorophobia is usuless, because survivors have to be in your terror radious to work (when I think of it, Doc and Legion with ir button would use it to some extent, but still… situational perk) and Thana would get a little buff? 16% doesn't do much (20% would be nice, I guess?).

Ever since EGC has started we no longer need to worry about the first two gens popping. We also have enough anti gen perks currently in the game before the release of Stranger Things too accommodate these issues.

If you know the average pathing of a survivor plus the locations survivors typically spawn you can get your first down within 30 to 40 seconds of the game. If your a faster killer at obtaining downs like Nurse, Billy, Huntress, Spirit, Leatherface, Ghostface you can have a down within the first 15 seconds of the game.

If you prefer to chase a survivor over kicking a gen that's not the fault of the game it's YOURS. Even if they run away you have scratches/blood to follow. Even if they sneak away you have common sense on locations they would hide in or at.

Typically survivors spawn in multiples on locations as well. So you can figure out which survivors the looper and which survivors bad at it from the reaction if you drop down on them immediately.

Are you saying you have been playing this game at high rank for x amount of hours and never had your ruin pop within seconds of the game starting and gotten a 4k? If that's honestly the case then the problem is not the game or the survivors it happens to be you.

    15 seconds to down someone?

All of those at once? Or just one of them? All killers at hillbilly level and a second objective will kill this game faster than you can blink.

Just one of those 2 thing. Buff killers (not the holy trinity tho) or add second objective so low tier killers may keep up, but I understand confusion.

  • Why cleanse when you will be sick in a minute anyway...

  • bringing all killers to Hillbilly level, no infinities, mindgameable loops, another objective, smaller maps, Haddonfield deleted

  • I started using it as Legion when I get to high purple ranks. Brown-green-low purple you can go without it and still make enough pressure. High purple-red ranks it's very hard as killer unless you play holy trinity

  • @Liruliniel said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/84757/ruin-buff

Or you know learn to play effectively without ruin.

Try apply pressure on the whole map with weak killer. In time you might get one hook, 1 or 2, or if survivors are smart, 3 gens might be poped. It's not hard to use toolbox and hit great skillchecks in red ranks.

  • He is bad, but still love to play him… It's funny when survivors by vaulting, starting running or jumping off can run up to 150% speed for few seconds, but when killer can run up to just few % more than normal 115% it's unfair and need to be nerfed.

"Oh! A survivor *activates FF* , now let me hi... *survivor has sprint burst/balance landing/lithe* and he's gone… and here comes stun. GREAT"

Or when you hit someone, try to get someone else, but you can't make it, because the duration is so short it's a joke.

I'm ok with not being able to down someone with FF, but his speed, vaulting, stun and addons should be looked up and fixed as fast as possible…

  • Legion skin.png

My current Legion outfit. I think Joey's standard mask fits well with his Neon skin, also using standard karambit, because neon one doesn't look as cool as standard one

  • How about adding local voice chat? You know, you can hear another survivor in near proximity from you, let's say, 10-20 m away.

It wouldn't give much of advantage over killer when survivors play as solo and let's be honest, even if they add global voice chat SwF would use Discord etc. anyway…

  • "Game is balanced"

cough killer tier list cough infinities cough Ruin meta cough

I don't think any killers need a buff. Billy needs a small nerf. Maybe a chainsaw cool down extension.

Why Billy needs to be nerfed? He is very loopable. His instadown can be avoided by looping and 360s in proper time. When he uses his ability he is loud af, so you know he's coming.

Some killers need a buff. I wouldn't say Trapper should get buff, but Doc, Legion, Wraith and LeatherFace should. All of them are depended on their addons (specially Doc in my opinion; his base ability's range is a joke), which sometimes are bad or usuless…

  • Report and move on. Sometimes you can laugh really hard after seeing how "toxic" you are for using game mechanics

  • Yeah I don't understand that either… Although from my experience this kind of "survivors" are the minority of the community (at least I hope so…). Same can be said about minority of the killers' community. However most of toxicity of killers I've seen is simple not knowing how to play at low ranks. I can understand that fresh killer player doesn't know how to play properly so he camps and tunnels. Did the same... At the same time most toxic survivors are around green-purple ranks, but their hate to killer mains might come from times when they were in low ranks and got tunneled and camped by inexperience killer.

    Just my thoughts…

  • Yeah something is not right today… luckly I didn't meet that problem yet and dunno how it would affect me, because I play around purple-red ranks a lot as a killer.

It's ######### up and Devs should fix it fast.

Good luck in next games and hope you wont get red ranks again…

  • lucky helmet.png

something like this would be neat in game

Eh, top player make up like just 4% of the population, and are out of touch with how the majority of players play the game.

Let's look at the stupid suggestions top rank killers have suggested:

    * Make Ruin baseline

    * Make NoEd baseline

    * Add secondary objectives

    * Double generator repair time

All of these are stupid suggestions that would result in a massacre of blood at the lower ranks, and even in the green and maybe even the purple ranks. They are changes which would utterly decimate the survivor side for at least Ranks 10-20, which is a sizable portion of the playerbase.

The game would not survive if BHVR took the "expert opinion" of these "top players" seriously.

Never heard that these players where top rank. Second objective wouldn't be a problem and even high rank killers will agree that pressing M1 for 80 sec isn't fun. When we talk about slowing the game down, we don't mean to make gen slower, but gen rush non existent.

Low ranks are slaughterhouse, it's in every game with asymmetric gameplay. The same was with Evolve/Evolve Stage 2. As a monster you were slaughtering lower rank hunters, but when you met players, and I don't even mean team like SwF, that knew what they are doing, your chances of even evolving to stage 2 sometimes were near 0%. That shows how powerful team can be when they know what they are doing and have advantage in numbers.

Asymmetric gameplay existed way before DbD. First game I remember having it was AVP from 2010 where one of the game modes was marines vs Predator (where marines could overpower Predator, suprise suprise!). And people still don't understand that team with bigger numbers will always dominate the side with smaller numbers despite skill level on the same level.

Oh cutie, all I got from your reply was that you're bad and can't hit survivors a few meters away from you. Vault the windows and the pallets and get the hit, it lasts way too long to miss from close. If you do, that's all on you and not the killer.

I main Legion since I started playing the game. Sure it's not hard to hit when they are like 2 meters away from each other, but try to catch up to survivor that is 10+ meter away. No chance

    1. Screw the top players. The top players are not representative of the entire player base. This is NOT an e-sport. It's not Overwatch with millions on the line between two equal teams. The entire player base matters, new and old.
    2. Legion was a broken, toxic, ######### killer when he was released, full of exploits and bs. He deserved the entire rework.

Top players are the ones that have more knowledge about the systems of the game and because of that they can send reliable response in term of balance. All ranks are important, but I wouldn't ask someone who is in yellow rank to tell me what's wrong with the game.

  • @Sackboy123 said:

Ruin isn't even a problem for most survivors, people have been using it since the Hag chapter got released and now great skill checks are just easy to hit. Unless there's lag obviously. I would love to see more perks like PGTW though that slow the game down. Maybe a Hex Perk that increases the amount of skill checks you get in a row after every hooked survivor maybe? That combined with Lullaby would be a killer.

Lullaby is great example why Hex ruin shouldn't have tokens. Before you can use it's full potential it's gone. Usually u get 2-3 tokens before getting it cleansed.

As for OP, yeah I guess? I mean, If you know what you are doing u are fine without it. Just don't be so focused on steam achievement, it's not worth of all the stress

  • @sailormars said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/649459#Comment_649459

That's 1205% speed which is 25% faster than a survivor. More than enough to close the gap, especially since his power lasts longer now. I've started running when a Legion hit a survivor and still got hit as there was no windows or pallets to jump through. Either way, the instances where Legion does get a hit, a shortened stun time would make it extremely easy for him to get a down.

Oh cutie, you would be suprised by this one. How many times I didn't catch up to survivor that was just few meters away from me without duration addons… Even with duration addons it's sometimes impossible to catch up to one.

Survivor will use loops for their advantage, because as a killer you have to make bigger curves at them and so, you lost your precious seconds on them. Unless they are using windows and pallets and then get hit by any decent Legion that doesn't run blindly after vaulting, but turns around to see if survivor isn't mindgaming them. Although I guess this happens only in low to purple rank

  • Perk is fine. Your complaining won't change anything, because guess what. Dev's are fine with it!

  • @Jago said:

Because Legion is meant to hit multiple people with feral frenzy and dont have a reload cooldown on successful hit. Plus you can read auras when you hit someone with it. If you're lucky enough you can make 3 or 4 injured people in less than 30sec.

Nonsense to compare it with the nurse s fatigue.

He don't see auras, but it would be cool with certain addon to see auras of the survivors instead of Killer instinct

  • @Kasaki said:

That's why they made bamboozle and also the new demogorg perk , there are counters people just don't want to use them

A perk shouldn't the solution for the game's core problems

  • This is bad idea.

We already have tier lists for killers and only 4 of them are considered viable, because of their abilities. Same would be with survivors, most likely only few of them would be played, because of their viability and rest would be meh or bad.

BHVR now can't bring 16 killers to the same level so all can be viable on higher ranks, now think about balancing 20+ survivors…

  • They could at least change some numbers… It isn't that big deal.

  • I can die in peace now

  • You'll have more loops that will be safer and maybe infinite. But yeah, cry about that ONE loop

  • @Th3Entity said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/642533#Comment_642533

Hahahahahah! Wait....you are serious? Try playing against a rank one nurse you will want to ######### because your whole team is dead in 3 minutes especially if she is slugging and not even one gen has popped this is the control im talking about. You deserve to lose if you let the survivors do all the gens that's why noed is the biggest cruch perk of them all. Before 5 gens 0 kills after noed is activated 2-3 kills the only time noed is justifiable is when you are playing insidious more nurse and camping inside the exit game the whole game.

Maybe do bones next time. Killer doesn't deserve to lose, because he couldn't control whole game. Survivor wins when he ESCAPES. I don't understand why ppl thing generators are objective of the survivors to win. Your main objective is to survive and escape. Generators are one of the ways to do so, the other one is to find a hatch and wait for 3 survivors to die or use the key. Game is still on when survivor powers up last gen and so survivor and killer are still playing. Why is that survivors can have second chance perks when killer can't? "BuT iT's OnE hIt", let me tell you something, but focus. I said focus. You focused? If, IF survivors powered all gens, and none of them is dead, that means it's still 4v1, that means you can split up and simply power up different doors. THATS not all! While killer is chasing and maybe downing and hooking one survivor you can do simple thing, find and do hex. Dunno if it was just me or maybe I have really bad luck, but it wasn't problem for survivors to play around my NOED even after i killed one person. They were simply looping, spliting my attention. When I was chasing one survivor, another was opening a gate, and other was looking for totem (which is rare, because survivors I meet do bones). In the end you can end up with no kills when using NOED. Pretty crazy right? But you will still say it happens because I'm bad. Maybe I am bad, but I've seen good killers losing to, in many cases to some bs from survivor side.

As for Nurse, true that she is the strongest killer, but also she is the hardest one to learn. You can easily dodge her attacks if you know how to break line of sight or simply mindgame her by setting a certain path just to change it when she charges her blink. Don't try to pallet her or use windows, you only lose your time and health, because you are so used to medium-low and even some high tier killers that are loopable. Even tho, her addons are worked on so your prayers were listened. Now her mains are waiting to see if she will be viable after it.

Also wow, pretty smart to activate typical survivor trump card "BuT nUrSe"! I was talking about low-mid tier killers, not S f + killer. Of course she will dominate, because in the current state of the game she has the advantage over other killers. Now try to dominate game with LF, Legion or Wraith on high ranks. There is a reason we have killer tier list. There is a reason only 3-4 killers are said to be viable, and by that I don't mean you can play only them, but it's WAY easier in high ranks when you use Nurse, Spirit, Hillbilly and Hag/ Huntress

  • @Th3Entity said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/641797#Comment_641797

Killers also have control of adrenaline just don't allow the survivors to do all the gens :)

Hahahahahaha! Wait… you are serious? I can agree with this at low ranks, but boi. Try playing mid-low tier killers in purple-red ranks. You'll see how much of "control" killer really have.

  • Rule #145323

If the killer picks Ruin, PGTW and Overcharge he must in aftergame chat admit his sins, ban himself and uninstall the game and move to remote part of the world so survivors can feel safe away from "tryhards"

  • There are jokes about her ability to turn invisible like Predator for a reason

  • I use it mainly to stab multiple ppl fast or as a tracking tool and with ir button it's nice to force pallet and simply destroy it while vaulting it. I can't tell how many times survivors got tricked by that and got hit.

  • You don't need it but it's sometimes nice to slow a game… JUST A LITTLE BIT

  • Used it when I started playing the game. Now I never use it

  • Nerf Billy and what? Have only 2 viable killers. Then what? "Nerf Nurse/Spirit" will be our norm?
