My problem with him is he has little to no map pressure. His power is better than it once was but he has no tools for putting pressure on the map, limited tools for travelling the map quickly, as well as a pretty major weakness to flashlights. He's not the worst killer but he's one of the easiest to gen rush and has so little he can do against competent survivors.
He's kind of fast while invisible which sorts out map pressure. Then with Windstorm addons he's fast as f0ck. But that's your opinion I guess. I personally think he does well.
He's slightly faster. But I dont consider addons when determining a killers abilities because you won't always have them .The speed he has isn't enough to combat effective genrush. It's good for approaching unnoticed and has varying value in a chase, but in contrast to killers like Pig who can slow survivors down who aren't being chased, or Meyers who has, in my opinion, a much more rewarding stealth ability, the Wraith just can't reliably put on that kind of pressure
True fair enough.

For me, he doesn't have enough in his base kit to be fun and engaging. So I usually don't bother with him.He can be pretty powerful, but he is easily loopable, and let's not even mention his flashlight issue. And his daily needs a bit of reworking. It's not Nurse difficulty, but it's one the harder one.
I feel he relies to much on his add-ons in order to do anything. But that's just me, I could say the same about Doctor and I play him pretty often because he's fun.
Wraith is lower-mid teir, IMO. He can be effective, but he's more annoying to fight than anything else.
Now... show me SILENT Wraith... Now we can have some fun.
Looping as I said above to @Ryuhi he can shut it like the Pig. I don't think flashlights actually hurt him since it takes soooooo long to burn him nowadays. Also he's definitely got a good base imo. 100% stronger base then Spirit. And that's saying something. For my base tierlist for killers it's like this:
Top tier:
1. Nurse
2. Billy
3. Hag
4. HuntressMid tier:
1. Wraith
2. Spirit.
3. Pig
4. And so on. -
@Ryuhi said:
i'm curious as to how his bell stops loops. tbh he's one of the most loopable killers, especially since he can't get bloodlust when cloaked. usually you have to force a bodyblock if you're trying to cloak ahead of the survivor, and if its a T wall they have another window to jump through regardless by the time you uncloak.also he can't block pallets while uncloaking unless you've got the survivor absurdly far from it. I usually end up using the faster pallet break addon, slugging one person, and watching them self heal under and waste every pallet in a section of the map :ohnoes:
Quite easily, he can mindgame it in a similar way to the Pig, bait one way, go the other. Windows he can also mindgame like Pig but way more effectively and he can bait uncloak for survivors who camp pallets.
He's better at shutting down loops then most killers.

XBOX and PS4 together seems okay, but you really don't want Console and PC together in the same game...Why not? Playing survivor is easy on any platform, so it doesnt make any diffrence...
It's not the survivor's I worry about...
Since the console survivors only face CASUAL killers who miss their hits just because the survivor spin around a bit, the PC killers would have an easier time facing such noobness, so whats the problem?
Typical. Assumes all console players are bad because it's hard for them to hit 360's cause of crappy FPS. I'll tell you, that I came from console rank 1, and for killer I had much tougher games then I do with PC. Same for survivor. Console players adapt to crappy FPS and slow turning, yet they do well enough for their situation. It'd be PC killers who'd have harder times if they fixed console.

Would Leatherface fall in the same category as Huntress? I havent watched the movie in a while. As far as I remember, he was still treated by his family as a child? From what I know, no. Although he was immature, Leatherface knew what he was doing was wrong; he just didn't want to disappoint his family. He's more along the lines of codependency and approval-seeking taken to an extreme level.
Keep in mind, though, I'm no psychiatrist.Sure...

you aren't entitled to have people play against you if they don't want toYou're not entitled to ruin peoples lobbies that have waited patiently for a queue to pop just because you think you might not have fun. In reality what you want is an easy match, 4 people could be guaranteed solo's yet you'd still dodged because of outfits, characters or items.
The game could be balanced and certain killers would still dodge even if it was solo lobbies only because they don't want a challenging game they want an easy fun game.
entitlement
unfair =/= challengingTranslation even if it's 4 solo survivors you'll still dodge because you want a non challenging match and since most swf are potatoes anyways that's even more proof. Oh and red rank survival rate below 50% says hi.

Best thing is to nod at them and smack them on the hook. It annoys them so much more then the teabagging annoys you.

@Tsulan he means the ones that derank on purpose. At low ranks, they're everywhere and the low ranks got no chance against them. Therefore making killers seem completely overpowered to them.
Deranking needs to be sorted out.

Vigil one I disagree with. I for one, loved the double exhaustion. And if you're not letting it come while in chase then you might as well let it come at normal speed when out of a chase. Since you made it recover in 80 seconds but it's still useless because it won't work while in chase. Why don't you make it so that it recovers with the normal 40 seconds but it won't work in chase? Surely that'd make more sense and make it useful.
Lithe I'd increase the vaulting to 5/10/15.
Love the Thanatophobia.
The Huntress lullaby feels like a nerf though.
That Territorial Imperative is amazing.

My general purpose build is:- BBQ: Mostly for the BP, but the aura reading effect works best on her.
- Whispers: She makes the best use of it because of her phase gauge. You can check general areas while phasing, and if Whispers doesnt go off you can save up time and move to the next one.
X and Y can be anything:
- Sloppy Butcher: Really easy for Spirit to spread damage, so focusing on lengthening healing time is a good way to slow down generators.
- Devour Hope: No one expects it on Spirit, or they would assume its Haunted Grounds.
- Haunted Grounds: Good combo on any Killer, really. Combine Haunted Grounds with any hex perk.
- Ruin: Yes.
- Rancor: An alternative to a tracking perk. As Spirit you are less affected by the aura reading from Survivors since they most likely would be seeing your husk's aura.
- Spirit Fury + Enduring: As Spirit, you can force Survivors to drop pallets on you. Might hinder your mindgame potential, but a viable strategy if Survivors dont fall for them.
- Predator: Good during phasing to know their exact location. Doesnt work every time since they might go back on themselves though.
- Bloodhound: Only with Father's Glasses. But Sloppy Butcher helps with that and adds the mangled effect, however.
I generally choose to avoid terror radius perks (M&A and Distressing). M&A works well with Prayer Beads, but it does the same with Prayer Beads alone in my opinion. Distressing isnt too game changing, and might even be worse depending on the player you are facing.
Edit:
Completely forgot about Stridor, another viable option, especially once they fix sound issues. What about the improved Spies in the Shadows? Would that be helpful?
The thing with Spies From The Shadows is that its not that bad of a perk, but crows are pretty unreliable. The buffs to it were much needed, but still not enough to guarantee a slot. Until they add more crows to the maps, it will remain in DBD's history books.
Ok thanks. I hope they make crows more reliable soon. ^^

Its funny you say this because people who tbag in a previous game always get salty when you tunnel them down in a different game . And the majority that play swf are not good individually.
People who support survivors are stupid people. No point of Tbaggin each time they threw a pallet or got hit by the killer. I think they have a serious issue thinking that since they almost every game they win when they play as SWF they think they can do whatever they want, but when they are with random people they stop the tbag nonsense and play regularly. The game needs to be balanced against SWF.
Don't sling personal insults.

So far mine have been buggy on every except the last 2 matches i faked out a Cloaked Wraith and royally pissed off a P3 Hag who was about to down me due to HG. I then really pissed her off by crawling away for like 10 seconds or so before she found me.
She hooked me then proceeded to show me her slat storage by repeatedly smacking me on the hook, I just did nothing while she did that and 2 gens popped. I also escaped after pallet slamming her 3x even with erh Spirit Fury.
What Hag runs Spirit fury? #########? Hag isn't meant to be played like that.

I played Spirit with yellow addons and got bullied btw. I'm starting to think she's far too addon reliant to actually be good without them. She deserves a 12 sec cooldown at base.
Try playing her with brown addons and then complain lol, yes she's addon dependent to an extent but playing with the lessers makes you better. I like to run 2 different addon builds on her depending on perk loadout and what i see in lobby.
Both her ultra rares are nice but my favorite is Prayer Beads and Yakuyoke Amulet, throw in Bitter Murmur, Rancor, Tinkerer, and M&A and go jumpscare happy to pieces.
What I found is that if you practice a lot with the brown addons you learn to play better since your margin of error is way less. You have to play much smarter and more sneaky and M&A is great for that since you've got to get a lot closer.
Whispers is also good with brown addons along with Stridor, Bloodhound and NC.
Wait wouldn't M&A give away my phasing? Since I'd have a 16m terror radius when I start to phase?
He is pairing it with Prayer Beads. They wont hear your heartbeat from when you phase, your phasing sound and your heartbeat after phasing (unless you land next to them).
Oh ok.

No spirit is very strong where she is at you need to git gud
Please add me and I'll rip you apart with my killers. I don't need to 'git gud' I'm dominant with every single other killer. The sound is messed up and I can't track the characters footsteps. I'm 99% sure that's why I'm doing bad. Or it's the fact I swing through every pallet without enduring. Towards the start of the patch, I didnt experience this but I'm starting to now.
