Not saying he's a bad killer but i get really annoyed when I have to go against him and would appreciate some tips about facing trickster maybe. The constant knives hitting me while trying to attempt to loop is ridiculous and most of the time I end up getting chased somewhere with absolutely no obstacles to utilize to avoid getting hit. Maybe I'm just missing something so tips are appreciated :)
Don't run in a straight line.

No, you admitted to rage DCing multiple times.
If you don't rage DC, the occasional network issue or mandatory DC game (someone holding it hostage) won't get you any penalty.

Pizza, people really tried to help you in that thread. Nobody called you 'poor'.
This thread is why people were skeptical of your thread - because here we have someone who started with 'it's a network error' then admitted to deliberately DCing multiple times because he didn't like what the killer was doing.
I think I said I felt that way...not that anybody called me that. I felt "inferior" and ganged up on, because not everybody was trying to help Star. I sympathize with Dipper, because I know what it's like.

I was the last survivor and in dying state, I recovered 90% and then it stopped and said "Find Help" ???
Where the heck am I gonna find help, the last remaining survivor should be able to recover from dying state alone.
Hi! Both BIll and David, at least, have perks that allow you to recover from a dying state. :)

No I don't have a 6h ban yet. But if they happen so rarely, then why did ai get up to 24h once without dcing just once? 24h just for playing and a server error. You can't tell me that I should just „Live with it“
Here's the thing...I'm on your side. You shouldn't have to just, "Live with it." It's unjust. I agree with you. You should appeal it. It won't do you any good, but you should. Network errors are not malicious acts. They are not immature acts designed to purposely hurt and interfere with a match. It just happens. As does life. Most decent humans are understanding of it. I don't know what people's problems on here are. I was told over and over to fix my ######### internet. I have fiber optic internet and I was getting shamed into not playing my favorite game because I was "poor" with "bad" internet, at least, that's how it felt to me. Well when I finally got the courage to talk to nice, understanding, knowledgeable, tech people, we figured out that it was partly a host error, and partly an issue with my router. So please, do not listen to these petty unknowing people, do what you think is right, and talk to somebody that actually is a professional in their field.

As everyone knows there are a ridiculous amount of blatant cheaters, especially for content creators. I get blatant cheaters (it isn't copium, literally flying and running at 400% speed) once every about 30 games as killer.
I play Blight at a high-ish level, and believe to be towards the top of the MMR "pyramid" if you will, which is probably why I've been getting them since they get guaranteed escapes every game. The problem is, I don't want to sit around for 20 minutes while they fly around, insta-heal everyone, and sometimes even hold the game hostage, so I DC.
That adds up to a DC about once every 2 days, which stacks up onto my DC penalty. I'm currently at a 6 hour DC penalty because I have to DC when someone cheats.
There NEEDS to be some kind of veto system that's tied to reports. Maybe once someone's account has been reported at least 5 times within 7 days, there is a veto button in the match that will DC everyone once 2-3 people press it?
I don't know, I'm not a game designer nor will I pretend to be one. But if the anticheat cannot be improved for some technical reason, other precautions need to be put in place.
Hey, my D/C penalty is also at 6 hours! Twins!

BHVR offers a disconnection ban appeal at their bug report section, only to send an auto message that disconnection ban appeals are not supported (I could even prove that it was their servers, not my internet so it's just brazen of them)

(Then why offer it at the website if you do not offer it anyway???)
Yeah, that makes no sense. Good luck with that. I figure by the time they got around to appealing your ban,, it would be over with anyways.

You still get the bloodpoints for completing each individual challenge and the 1 charm reward for finishing each tome level (1-4 so 4 charms in total).
What you don't get are:
- Rift fragments (For leveling up in the current rift)
- Rift cosmetics and charms (that came out with that Tome/Rift)
Oh, I think I might understand.
-
@anarchy753 said:
When a rift closes you can still do the challenges for bloodpoints (the compendium tab on the archives menu) but you will not receive rift fragments any more.
All of the cosmetics in the rift will be unattainable until added to the store later (usually takes a year or two, if not more) but the charms will never be attainable again unless they change their mind in the future.
The only charms you can still get are the ones for completing each page of challenges.
Future tomes will not gain rift fragments when you complete challenges from past tomes, you must complete the current ones to progress on the rift.
Oh okay. Well I better hurry up and get all the bp I can then! Thank you!
ETA: Also, what's the point of doing the challenges if you're not getting the bp?

Idk if it's just me but lately I've been trying to get adept on slinger after the nerfs since I never got it before even though I mustve played him for 1k-2k hours
And idk man it just feels so bad and so hard after the nerfs cause both gearhead and dead man's switch are both trash perks so the only thing you have going for you is retribution which doesn't help that much considering you are 4.4 with a 32 meter tr radius these days
Is it just me or were they to harsh with the nerfs? I feel like he got hit so hard and I fear he will be left alone in the gutter and never reverted just like Freddy, billy, and the twins :(
Makes me sad just thinking about how much easier this achievement used to be to get
I believe the general consensus is in agreement with you.

There is t-bagging and there is t-bagging. Context is important here: if a survivor is cornered, on death-hook and then freezes and t-bags a few times this normally means that he admits defeat and you can either slaughter him or show mercy. If they t-bag you after a vault or at the exit gate, that is just rude.
The thing is that we have very limited capacity to communicate with each other ingame, survivors can point and wave you over to them and maybe wiggle a noooo when downed, killers can just not kill their opponent or maybe nod or shake their head. So many other games have emotes and expand on them in events or through the ingame shop, so why werent emotes ever a part of dbd? It can't be an oversight, so it must be a conscious design decision.
Very good points. I mean relentlessly t-bag at the exit gate, refusing to go through until you've chased them.

Trash and clown are the popular words to call someone online these days. Just keep in mind that these mental midgets that call people names would never have the balls to act that way in person. They are cowards. Sniveling scum that uses the Internet to feel like somebody. These people are, in fact, nobodies. Do not let it bother you.
Thank you. This actually did make me feel better.

I was in a snowman just chilling in a field when another snowman comes walking on by so I start moving and I swear I scared the bejesus out of her. Then we danced for a long time, until I accidently broke my snowmen. Then we got to work on gens like good boys and girls.

Once you get a warning, does it ever regress?

It’s hard to hit the survivors, even if I hit them they can easily get to a safe loop. So what’s the point of a power what actually slows me down?
I hardly ever use his special. Unless like, they're at the exit gate taunting me.

Haha maybe. I hardly play him so don't know if it would be worth it but I bought Clown's Santa outfit for the holidays so I guess I can buy Ghostface's for the winter as well.

Oh, and there was a sweat moment just a few days ago: the designated harasser flashlight clicked and poked at me at no end, and after each palet he tea-bagged me. So when I eventually got him hooked, I camped him out. Interestingly he stayed and spectated and commented on this in the AG-chat. My response: "you BM and teabag, you get facecamped. Easy as pie". That game I also let a survivor at the exit game escape, who was wounded and did the surrender tea-bagging.
I LOVE when you let survivors go and they INSIST on t-bagging you.

This is why I am not nice.
Hahah, I'm usually not nice but I was literally just going around blinking, not even attacking regularly, just trying to do my challenge. After she started incessantly t-bagging me I went after her and got her down but the game almost over and her teammates bodyblocked the hook before I could get her on it. I should have just dropped her and let her bleed out.

Maybe she was making sure the killer was gone before going for the rescue. Did she rescue you?
The killer was no where to be found and no, she did not. I sent her a question in a message but did a response. She perplexed me.
