I think that’s more a problem with the house of pain tbf
That is true.
It's called house of pain for a reason.
However, that doesn't mean breakable walls are not an idiotic mechanic, not to mention their positioning ...

Technically Saloon also has that one room which benefits the killer by leaving the walls standing.
The one room where no survivor goes into unless there's a totem?
Fantastic.

Badham has the only breakable walls that benefit the killer
I got sent to Badham yesterday as Billy.
The house of pain had the window open above the stairs with the door leading to the outside blocked.
I wanted to DC the moment I saw the window that leads to the garage open and the door that leads in the back of the garage closed. I've had to break 2 walls to fully deny the house of pain....
This is very rare to see but holy ######### ... Why do these things exist??

Why with this game do you feel the need to cheat? I am talkign to a specific David a few days ago, I was Trapper on Hawkins (omg right? lol) you was doing well, very well so why the need to cheat so I couldn't pick you up, or very much try to hook you? I am not sure why people do this? especially when they are actually good players? (note to the people I very much killed his ass! lol a few slaps with my weapon on the hook too for him been a well you know! lol) Can anyone enlighten me?
As to why they play with cheats....
Their fun at the expense of yours.

I ask the same question when it comes to VPN-ers and Proxy users.
Why?
-
The whole killer lock came after a bug where u would que up with one killer and switch to another then ur end game would be bugged.
- For example - Que up as huntress, switch to Freddy. End game shows huntress power and no perks.
BHVR came with a statement
"We're locking killers so MMR can be more accurate"
You'd think someone at BHVR could code to differentiate the killer you're queing as and the killer you are actually playing in the match.
------
Ontop of this, when MMR was activated for the first time and killers lock was a thing there was also this issue.
- Let's say you main Freddy but u que up as Huntress even though you barely play her, you have some perks, she might not be fully leveled, etc. You load into a game as huntress, you see 4 toolboxes, then you switch to Freddy. What MMR would do is put you against rank 20s because you selected a killer that u very rarely play or don't have a lot of wins on. This also applies vice versa. Problem is, you maintain all of your knowledge of the game when u que up as huntress and everything that comes with it. So you would end up with a Rank 1 Huntress going against rank 20 players that barely know how to move forward...
To say the least, it was a very dark time for DBD as it was enabled FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK.
Well, that's how it worked. But it's BHVR so MMR was also broken.
I experimented with 30+ games as Freddy when MMR was first activated. I played at rank 1 and maintained my rank troughout the test, you'll see why in a second. Out of those 30+ matches, only 3 or 4 were with red ranks survivors. I would go up against Green, yellow EVEN BROWN rank survivors 70-80% of the time.
Then again, this wouldn't have happened if MMR took notice of your rank, your % of wins, etc and no matter if que as a lvl 1 bubba, you would still end up with survivors with the same ranks as you. You maintain your knowledge of the game, regarding if you're playing a killer for the first time or playing a killer for the 1000 time. Not just this, but what could u learn from going against rank 20 as a rank 1 playing a new killer? That he can down survivors? Perfect.... Not to mention that if you go against the same rank as you, you would adapt much faster & learn a lot more than playing against rank 20.... God damn your spaghetti code BHVR

I HIGHLY recommend you invest into Plague and get Corrupt Intervention first of all. Corrupt is a fantastic all-around perk for all killers. You can't go wrong with it.
If your Ruin gets destroyed frequently early on or you can't get value out of it, I would highly recommend you also buy clown for his teachables, Pop & Bamboozle. You can use bamboozle on Huntress but I will squint my eyes and judge you for it. I've seen a few huntresses use it at rank 1 and get value out of.
Ontop of this, Iron Maiden is a very solid perk on Huntress from Legion allowing you restock 50% faster at lockers and the occasional survivor jumping into locker and they're exposed for x amount of seconds. Not just this but Discordance is an amazing perk to have.
If you have the money for it, I would highly recommend undying and use this basic build on huntress:
- BBQ
- Undying
- Ruin
- Bitter Murmur / Thana / Iron Maiden / Flex perk
------
Confident Huntress build, personally the one I use at red ranks:
- Bloodwarden
- Bitter Murmur
- BBQ
- Iron Maiden.
Shoutout to CoconutRTS for allowing me to steal his build.
---------
Another build would be
- Ruin / Pop
- Iron Maiden
- Corrupt / Discorance
- BBQ
---------
- Brutal Strength - From Trapper
- Thana
- Whispers
- Sloppy / Ruin / Pop
----
There are way more builds I could recommend honestly... I don't play huntress personally but I know her ups and downs and the builds for her.
I would also recommend watching some youtubers showcasing other huntress builds themselves and take an idea or two.
My build for huntress always has Iron Maiden in it as it's a huge quality of life improvement. Ontop of this is BBQ. Then a gen regress perk such as Ruin + Undying or Pop
If you use pop, for your 4th perk I would bitter murmur / discordance. I would lean more towards Discordance as it's a fantastic perk. If i'm feeling gen rushed a lot or being sent to a large numbers of big maps I switch the 4th perk for Corrupt.
In the end It would look like this:
- BBQ
- Iron Maiden
- Pop / Ruin
- Undying / Discordance / Corrupt.
-
What do you think your build is lacking?
In what area are you weak?
Finding survivors, chases, gen speeds, etc.

BBQ

Well like I mentioned if she had control over the passive phasing or even if she could just see/hear when she was passive phasing for the survivors then that would raise her skill cap a lot. You'd try and get skilled enough to time your misdirections around those blind spots for the survivors.
I'd like that it would add some extra skill ceiling and I always like having higher potential for skilled players to improve on. However, it would technically be a buff for Spirit so that would never happen.
From what I'm seeing from the video, with those two addons she phases every 2 or 3 seconds and occasionally immediately after a phase has finished with less than a second to see her red light. Isn't it safe to assume that every couple of seconds you're phasing? One could run Unrelenting and immediately after the swing ends, a phase begins. As I said, I don't have spirit so I can't test this theory
-
@Blueberry said:
It's pretty much just for memes, not really that good at all, especially considering the other potential addons you're giving up for them.
Now if the Spirit could see when she's passive phasing as well to be able to play around it and take advantage if used skillfully then sure, it might have something there. However, she can't, so it's not that good.
What if she heard the same exact sound when survivors hear when she's passive phasing?
Imagine if she had control over her phasing, like pressing CTRL to consume a token for passive ontop of her random ones.

Haddonfield fences are the bane of my existence. They're like the god-pallets on The Game, you're just forced to walk around them with no mindgames.
I love abusing them as survivor, I admit this.
"Oh you wanna chase me? I have the great wall of China here, i'll make you regret that, let's go for a walk" I'll make you hate this map as much as I do.
It's even worse if they fall for my bait and try to swing over. I've had a Demo look at me all confused, looked from one side of the fence to the other, realized the length and walked away with his head down ðŸ˜
Personally, I don't use the map offering.

Just keep randomly attacking bushes. You will get them eventually.
Freddy would be a great bush trimmer now that I think about it.
-
For me?
THE GREAT WALLS OF CHINA that generate on that map that are made of tall fences / bushes / small fences. That has to be biggest annoyance to me by far.
---------
If you spawn in the middle as killer, you might as well lose the game, since survivors can spawn in all 4 corners even without offerings.
I can't wait until they rework the map and make it 'better' by adding the infamous breakable walls, OH BOY !

OP is referring to the new-ish offering that reveals the aura of basement hooks at the start of the game. You're thinking of the hatch spawn offering.
At topic: Knowing where the basement is can be important depending on who the killer is. Many killers are a lot more dangerous if they get a basement hook.
If it's Bubba, Trapper, Hag etc you will definitely want to avoid the basement at all times so this offering can come in handy.
For very specific killers it might be OK-ish
Then again.
Why use this offering when u can use a map offering that would benefit you more & not risk getting sent to Midwhich / Game map or whatever. Even then, if you use basement offering for main building you'll probably get shelter woods.
Even then, with time, maps will get smaller and smaller and you'll know very shortly where the basement is. That is, if u have 2 braincells lefts and can connect two and two together - "Basement is not in shack... must be in main building" - You'll get this info eventually regardless.
-
@supersonic853 said:
It and the hatch one are dumb tbh controlling the basement gives no value unless your a killer. Controlling the hatch gives way to much value as survivors always run this offering with a key to guarantee someone escapes.
The hatch one is relatively useful... to one side at least.
I see a key? I wonder what offering they're gonna use, oh boy. Even if there's no key involved, all this offering does is start a race to the location of the hatch and try to guess where exactly is gonna spawn. Even then, it's BS since it rewards lucky guessing.... Unless the killer is standing on it if he can see it.
However THESE OFFERINGS? They are utterly trash.
Just give me the 50% BP bonus offering instead pls.

He ain't oppressive.
He has literally no map pressure.
That's his weakness.
While I agree he shouldn't be buffed, don't say he's oppressive when he's not. Oppressive is spirit or Freddy, not Deathslinger. He has counterplay, and the ads is always off a bit when you try to quickscope, I've tried for a long time. It aims it off centre purposefully, to give some counterplay. If survivors happen to walk into its centre then that's them not playing against him correctly.
Oppressive as in chase.
DS is a threat only if he hits shots & goes for shots.
A DS that only shoots at windows / pallets is a disgrace.

Out of the killers that I own, this would be it.
I play in red ranks
SS RANK:
- Demogorgon and DS are the two killers I do extremely well. After I got a killstreak of over 40-50+ on Demogorgon I stopped counting. DS is a killer that I picked up recently, bought him last month I believe and I seem to be extremely confident on him and hit a very good amount of shots. I'm very confident in predicting & projectile type killers / games are my kind of thing and can easily master.
S Rank:
- I'm a Billy main, but I feel like I could improve a lot more on him. I play with at least one engraving each match since I find them necessary against really good survivors & to hit curves. I'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to curving, Sky billy and some spots only billy can abuse with his chainsaw.
- Bubba? Yeah... I picked him up after Billy got gutted. I played him so much I know the limit of my chainsaw & know when to use it and how to trick survivors into thinking that I'm not gonna reach them.
- Freddy... Yeah yeah... Unlike your average Freddy player, I know how to abuse snares very well and teleport in front / around survivors to a nearby gen to have them run into me / ambush them. I abuse his dream world. I break LOS from a survivor that's looping me into thinking i'm one side, when i'm actually teleporting to the gen behind them... Nothing personal kid.
- Legion. I used to be a legion main. Know how to properly play him and take advantage of his short height. I'm very good at juggling survivors left and right & knowing when to use my frenzy.
A Rank:
- Used to be a hardcore nurse main. I seem to have grown white hairs from playing her.
- Clown, I'm getting way better at bottle tossing, using the speed from the antitode in some loops and relying on distorted vision from the pink bottle. He's one of my chill killers
- Trapper. He's my chill killer. I win most of my matches. Played a lot of trapper when I first started out.
- Wraith. I'm quite confident in chasing and really getting value out of my speed boost when uncloaking to get some really nasty hits. Can't wait for his Buff to play him more. I hate flashlights, I will tunnel your arse.
B Rank:
- Oni. Picked him up recently together with DS. I got oni at around 250 auric cells, he was 50% off. He's similar to Billy in a way but I find it quite hard flicking around corners and don't have much knowledge on him at the moment. Rarely play him
C Rank:
- Plague. Very rarely play her. I know her arc and how to vomit over obstacles, trough cracks, etc. I find her rather boring tbh, no offense. Don't have much interest in mastering her.
D Rank:
- Huntress. Ah yes, the killer I wanted to master at the start. I could not care less about her. I'm capable of hitting shots & use bitter murmur on her most of the time. However, I find her rather boring to play IMO. Hate her hitbox hatches.
That's all.
-
Not sure what's worse.
1000 ping survivors or 1000 ping killers....
I'm looking at you Claudette. And you Freddy, ya dried grape looking arse.
--------
I feel your pain.
I've had a match yesterday as Freddy against some really laggy survivors. I've had instances where I would down someone, and 2 seconds later I'd have the pallet drop on my face. Or random pallets just dropping by themselves. It was either lag or the fact that I was playing at 3 AM making me see things...
-
Wraith I'd put in B for now and see how he performs with his buff. If he is A worthy.
Blight is straight up S tier after his buff.
I'd put hag one rank lower. She is a noob stomper. Her biggest weakness are good survivors and unlike nurse and spirit, her power gets countered by flashlights.
Come on, Myers should be at least C
Twins... A tier or at least B
Billy in A ? Are u confusing movement with chase powers? He ain't Oni.
PH has A potential
Pig should be B, her innate slowdown is great.
-
Make Unbreakable base
100% Unhook chance when killer is within 12 meters
The Tunneling idea got me confused
-
S tier changes:
- Blight should be up there, right after spirit. - After POV fix
A tier changes:
- Billy should be B
- Deathslinger should be B
B tier changes:
- I'd move Wraith to A personally cause of his buff, I'd keep him in B for now i guess.
C tier changes:
- Straight up, Twins should be A, at least B
- Myers & Pig should be B
D tier changes:
- Legion, D ? He should be B or C at least.
-
They might be keeping them for 5th anniversary.

The point is, no one is being named in the original post, so there's no (valid) reason it should be taken down for naming and shaming.
Sure, you could probably find out who the censored name is with a little bit of detective work, but you can do that for basically anything on the internet.
I just find it incredibly dumb nothing else.
Other rules i'm fine but this is the one that grinds my gears.
Apparently you can ALSO group all content creators into a toxic bubble and when ur asked by others to back up your claims and name a few or the ones you think are toxic or whatever you claimed as long as it's negative, it goes against the rules. I've had a situation like this a few days ago, I didn't even know you can abuse it like that. I can say what I want and not back up my claims because it goes against forum rules? Damn...Props to the guy for knowing the rules better than I do.

doesn't matter who it is as long it's a content creator.
As long as there are negative things said about a content creator, even if a name if not provided.
OP said it himself it's a content creator, so I'm inclined to believe him it's a content creator.
Edit: It's a shame you weren't yesterday to witness something similar.

I'll be surprised if this post manages to live for a few hours, since the 'name and shame' rule exists on this forum.
Any negativity against a content creator will be censored / deleted. Only good things are allowed.
