What determines if people should get saves or not? You thinking you're entitled to a kill?
Actually playing smart?
-
I'll back up Grootdude on this. I've had an easier time pipping with legion than I do as survivor. Know the scoring events and play how it wants you too. Isn't hard with a game-stalling build and good pressure awareness.

@RoKrueger Make them regret it. :D

I think that better change is that survivor who just got unhooked keeps DS active for 60s unless they do gens, healing, sabo etc. That would be logical since tunneled survivor can't do gens when he's beiing tunneled right. Dunno I don't really mind new DS that much but I think some adjustments wouldn't kill it.
I think the supporters are looking at MoM and how the devs change up perks, so there's some fear that any adjustment would be a nerf.

Division of labor. Survivors have more tasks they can do for points to accommodate for the fact that there's four of them. There's only one killer who has to fit the criteria of doing labor that matches against four others. Emblem system also forces killer to determine the pace of the game when it's more in the survivor's control.

You say you know it would be tough so you go with Clown?? Why didn’t you just use Spirit or Billy or even Iridescent Head Huntress? I only suggest this since you’re tired of playing nurse.
I wouldn’t even have used Ruin against this team unless I was trying to go for Infinite Tier 3 Myers.
You should run Blood Warden in place of Ruin when playing a good SWF team.
Hindsight is 20/20. Besides, why should they have to play as a specific killer for even a chance at fun?

@Knuckles Have you tried more cowbell? xD

Lol here we go again with detecting correctly, it doesn't seem to be an issue on ps4 I detect him easily, actually beyond easily, it has never been a problem the closer you are the harder it is because any slight movement by ghost could move his detection out of sight but from mid to long range he has little defense other than stepping behind something and we all know how that tends to work i can't tell you how many times a surv detected me when i was behind a wall.
You getting seen behind the wall is a detection issue. It's a latency issue on the detection mechanic. Not being broken out in the open is a detection issue. These are all things people have been reporting. It isn't because of the range of detection and you are suppose to have a bit of a buffer in case he twitches right out of the spot but it's inconsistent.
-
@LegitAdventurer Because they pushed back their release until it was ready. I was so mad when I heard it was pushed back (finally a game I could play with my best friend), but now I'm glad they did it.
-
Dedicated servers will not fix these problems, merely lessen them to an extent. The devs will still need to do work beyond the dedicated servers to fix these issues. It's merely step one.

BHVR didn't even touch these things. How the hell is it bugged?
This is what happens when you tangle up the code and keep adding things without thoroughly looking at the foundation.

I'm just going to give you a hypothetical as someone who has only played against her. Say you run full gen-grab (whatever that may be as I look at other posts). I'm not sure what add-ons you would be running (probably prayer beads?). Even if you went silent and gen grab, you pull off the first person. If it was discordance, an aware survivor would be able to look out for it in the future. I'm just thinking that as the game progresses, gen-grabs should get harder. I say should but you'll probably see potatoes at certain points. It's a similar problem to scratched-mirror Myers. It's definitely a game-slowing build, if that's what you're into.
-
@Qwavex20 Sorry mate. All I can say is support services at this point, but if you're adamant with returning it, good luck getting points/money back (depending on where you sell it). Everyone is going to pay less than you did. :/

I have to wonder if people opposing the hotfix have played survivor against Ghostface at all this patch. You can be looking directly at him and not break him out, the hotfix is fixing that.
From what I’ve seen, I doubt widening the detection area will fix the problem when the issue is that it doesn’t detect correctly. I don’t think it’s one in the same.
-
As long as it's in the game (and not a bug being exploited), than it's fair play. If you want that endgame build, NOED is a valid part of it. If you like the salt, keep chat on. If you don't, close it. Have fun however you see it and don't let others ruin it.
-
This happened to me pre-3.0. I would get it but randomly in the match it just cut off completely. I had to keep flinging my camera around to make sure I was still getting chased (not good when you have motion sickness).
-
Welcome to the console user's daily life.
-
I know the stun was getting looked at. Has there been an ETA with anything?
I currently cannot play killer as is and survivor has gotten increasingly unbearable with the hit effect to the point where it's starting to be unplayable.
-
@Mushwin I would have to hard pass on the scarecrow version. But where do you acquire the first one from your OP? For research purposes.
-
@Warlock_2020 I only ask because it seems like you want that direction. Pwnyfish mentioned what they are going to do with swf, but that's preemptive and only with survivors.
Just a run down. In Overwatch, you can replay with the same team you had if you press a certain button, so randoms can party back up quickly but each individual has to agree and only those who do agree remain in a party. You are asking for something akin to this but grouping everyone together including the killer if they agree. I'd say it's a cool idea. :D

Hooks would be easily countered if Chucky because it's a possessed doll, that is transports it's soul into the survivors and proceeds to hook themselves, once the survivor is hooked, Chucky would be forced to leave the body by the Entity.
On the size though, I'd have to agree. Couldn't see how people who flashlight the doll, etc...
I just don't want this to happen because then leprechaun would be a possibility....... just please no.

Correct me if I am wrong but these stats do not show the average party size at certain ranks. Rank 1 will most likely get more SWF and I heard most people are rank 10-20 and I don't think Rank 20s are usually in SWF... I could be wrong though.
@KillermainBTWm8 You would be correct. This is just an overall representation of possible groupings across all platforms. That kind of information should be included within this chart, but you wouldn't know unless they came out with another graph solely looking at it by rank and platform. This is a more generic breakdown of the numbers they are getting.
-
And that's only PC people.
-
It also doesn't account for solos coming in and partying up (I'm a console user okay) while waiting in lobby. I may have entered solo, but I didn't leave solo. 😎

Waits for the fanfiction
-
I wouldn't mind since I still bait a hit if I'm going for hatch and we're both there (those hatch standoffs made me paranoid near hatch). Otherwise I'm booking it right out.
-
Whistles That first one though.
The metallic ones look better than the bottom three. There's just more depth there.

I have actually been killed because of adrenaline before. Triggers exhaustion, I then get chased before it recovers...nothing left for a balanced landing I really needed.
This is why you should run Hope. 😉

Eh, I love the "Ignores Exhaustion" part of it. Really helps if you are in a chase, healing and distance gaining!
This is a leftover from the exhaustion perks triggering after a certain time. It in itself isn't really op, since you can't use another exhaustion perk until you recover so it kind of screws you if you aren't the one being chased or was injured.

Ahhh. You have to download a part of the game despite it being a CD. I think the update is a part of that. If you do lose progress (because you shouldn't), immediately contact support. That's on their end and nothing else you can really do.
Forgot @Qwavex20
Let me know how it goes. 😁
-
Uninstall and reinstall the application. The update probably bugged it. If nothing works, just contact support.
-
I prefer Hope. 😊
-
I like to run it on legion, but it isn't necessary. I've had it go down and still end up with generators on the map left. I just use it to relax a bit at the start. When it goes down, I just up my game and tighten my patrols. I could switch it, but I'm lazy.
Full build: Ruin, BBQ, Thana, Sloppy

With Michael’s breathing though I feel like it’s, “Wait did I hear something?” rather than, “That’s definitely GF around that corner.”
All "stealth" killers should have a subtle clue like that (since absolute silence is improbable).
-
I wouldn't mind a trade-in system. Basically just selling an item back for bps.
-
I'm only guilty with insta-heals because some survivors can be pretty stupid (and I have one friend that I actually just use them on because he insists on getting chased all the time). But it's not often enough to be a travesty if they were gone. I don't mind moris, it's just that people fall into tunneling and that's annoying. If you earned the kill, then cool you can have it.

Until doing gens AND destroying totems are the way to open doors, totems are Not the objective.
All I said that it was an experiment for them to maybe implement second objective in the future. If survivors could handle cleansing totems, than a second objective could be installed. I never said they were the objective or even an objective. It is an attempt. But misinterpret all you want.
-
They definitely added more to the survivor side under the different emblems. Lightbringer now has a distraction component in case you were chased all game and some other things I can't remember.

You don't get the point do you? jUsT dOn't Go DoWn 4Head If I say I got downed somewhere else, I still had the bear trap on so either way I could've done nothing my point is that the BT mechanic is still exploitable and it's just stupid that those two killers can do just fine with camping. Why should a perk that is meant to be anti tunnel NOT work against campers?
I'm literally telling you things you can do. Hooks are near loops. Plan out where to get downed and the exit strategy. Since you figured she would hunt you down, delay her BY GOING TO THE NEXT LOOP. You won't survive if she's set on you but you can still do something for your team by distracting her. Sometimes this ######### happens. I'm saying to be smart if you're going down. There's this thing called adapting to the situation.
It's more so to give you a chance against campers. Key word: a chance. It is not a freebie so it has counterplay. You should also be immune for the first second you get unhooked. This gives you time to leave. They waste their time and points on camping and tunneling you.

I know you're just trying to help and all but I know how to play the game and how it works. I was just saying that BT should work no matter what. Neither DS or Dead Hard would've helped me, I even used Dead Hard but it was the worst basement in the game (suffocation pit). Like I said, I had a trap and she tunneled me there is no way getting it of.
Then don't fall near basement next time. If you know how it works, than this shouldn't be an issue otherwise you dig your own grave. Don't rely on BT, especially since there're people who don't run it. BT was like that once and it was hell for killers. It's fine as is now.

How does Dead Hard help me there? I always run Dead Hard it doesn't do ######### there. And Sometimes you don't have other options than to stay near basement because there are either no pallets or anything or you don't know basement is there until you get hooked.
A lot of the time, the killer will swing early or the aim will hit the unhooker. Be prepared to start running in the opposite direction of the killer and towards the nearest loop. DH is just to be able to get there or to give you a chance for escape or DH towards your teammate so they get hit instead (but don't actually unless you're swf). DS is more fool-proof but this can be done.
So the basement. First off, you should be scouting the map for loops in general. There's only two places where basement will spawn. Check one of those as soon as you can or just plain avoid it. Learn when you're running out of time to loop around the basement and quickly move to the next loop before going down then. Don't get cocky with your looping. If you're about to go down and it's the shack, throw down the god pallet. Buy yourself that time otherwise the killer has a huge advantage with you in basement. If you're in basement, then you're screwed. Killer will body-block the DH so I recommend DS. If there's no pallets, don't go near the basement still. It's easier to make a play anywhere but the basement. You may have royally screwed yourself over (like you did against Pig), where your first hook was pretty much gg. You should always be planning ahead as survivor.
-
Or just get rid of them and give me back my bps. 😊

Unless you somehow start a revolution and there's a mass exodus, gantes is right.

pS4 player here and he is not working and intended we can have a stare down, gf directly in the center of my screen, and he can expose me every time. As the killer, same experience from the other side. May be working on Pc, but he’s not on PS4.
Because us console users have specific platform issues that should be addressed separately. What you may be seeing is latency, which has a larger impact on console. It is more frequent for the detection to not work on console compared to PC, just because of design issues from both the game itself and the console. They need to start taking us into consideration if they want people to play it on Switch.
-
They should change their ways if one of these things happen:
Competition: Some competitor finally makes a good a-sym game that can compete with the player base. Since they are currently a monopoly, they can do whatever they want without a viable competitor to worry about.
Consumers: So the burden falls onto us as the consumers. As long as they make more than lose off of us, they will not change their tactics. Consumers have the power to destroy a company if they stop giving it money. If they feel threatened by a potential loss, they will change course.
But good luck getting any of these things to happen.
