Or just avoid the place....

Only ever use the ability if there's a group or if I need information, so rarely ever. I play them as straight m1 and somehow manage the pips with minimum headaches.
Build: Ruin, BBQ, Thana, Sloppy
I'm a slow down the game kind of player, which works with them.
Add-ons: Whatever has been recommended. Personally don't really use add-ons.

@Hexyl Please don't even joke about that, they might actually do something to it. I also run small game (not a joke).

They better not touch my troll perk because of Ghostface

Problem is that they've tried incentives and people were still toxic. Why? Core mechanics. If I'm feeling real powerless in a game, I'm going to do something that makes me feel powerful. It's within human nature. The game gives me the chance to tunnel, so I can tunnel that one guy into the ground because of some perceived slight. People play with their heart.
But the idea of mini-quests could be a good secondary objective, though they should add more things to do around the map for this.

How tf can The Exorcist be a killer? Lil Regan running like crazy after surivors?
Something like Pacify comes to mind ๐

I'm ranking just fine with legion. Do I use the power? Not really. Doesn't mean I can't play around it and still do well. Does it take longer with a non-viable killer? Yes. Is it frustrating? Yes. But I'll be damned if I'm forced to play something that isn't even remotely fun for me (Billy is not. I want to bash my head against the wall when I play him). Just put in the work and develope a play style.

It would probably be a little more scary if they were to use real life killers but they are absolute SC*M and it would be wrong to make dbd their home. I think you had a lapse in judgement but it's fine we all find fault in our own opinions.
Agreed.
Not the person's fault that society is fascinated by serial killers. I myself am a true crime enthusiast, though it's a guilty pleasure. But yeah, this person has gone through enough ragging from ya'll.

@AshleyWBHe looks hella fun (just looked him up like a scrub). Not really scary, but definitely a riot.

Um, who's Scissorman?
Oh god please don't do leprechaun. I still have nightmares.
-
He technically still holds the crown..... for now
-
What rank are you? Around purple/red you need at least gold to get those pips. By this logic, your bronze really hurts a pip chance. You could tank one with iridescents on all the others. You have to be good at all categories with this current system.

Give the peek ability to Pig ๐

My issue is what certain people would do with information like that. If I was on the dev team and played the game, I would personally not want people to know. Should they have other testers? Yes. Should the player base know who they are? No.
It shouldn't matter if a dev can play their own game. That's not their job, it's why game testers is an actual job. They make the art for others enjoyment, not necessarily their own.
I have other gripes with the PTB as a console player.
-
Let the others have their privacy. Besides, Peanits isn't obligated to give out that kind of information (especially if said people have asked for their identity to be kept secret).

Merge Distressing and Unnerving Presence
Increase terror radius, extra bp gain in deviousness, reduced skill check zones.
Left Behind
Don't know of a change but it's pretty meh now with the EGC and the new hatch spawn.
-
What if there was a secondary objective that was blocking the generators?

There is no need to shut down the servers to create a patch to fix the problems with this game.
What that actually needs is a Dev Team with a good understanding of the game, a vision to create, and the perseverance to actually work on it.
And you think that this team would be unable to do so? Because this is a pretty basic concept where one does not need to have a certain skillset. And shutting down wouldn't just be another patch. I mean an entire overhaul - which I know is a lot but it's a method. A method I haven't seen even mentioned.

They aren't bugs that people are upset about. The entire design is flawed from the ground up and a mess. He shouldn't have even made it to the PTB as is. Then again all you need as a reminder of how bad the devs are at their own game is the clip of them getting wrecked by survivors getting looped and pallet stunned.
The fact that just looking somewhat in the direction of Ghostface to stop his ability is bad enough since many do it accidentally, but add in that there's the obvious audio cue that he's there makes it ridiculous. I guess we should add that same thing to Myers and the Pig if they're in TR range. The whole point of NOT having a TR was so you could sneak up.
The "bugs" would be survivors on the hook and floor being able to also negate your ability except those aren't bugs. They are lazy oversights. A bug would be being able to do it through walls which does happen.
Yes they deserve to be called names for lazy work.
Basically they should just rework everything from the ground up. Just shut down servers and take a good hard look at the core mechanics. Probably a minority for this, but I know other games shut down and do maintenance that's more than just a patch up. Devs should consider this before moving forward, as in what direction do they want this game to go towards and come back with a clear vision.
