Nurse needs to be fixed at her core. Adding more band aids won’t do much as we’ve seen the the devs do this for 5 years only for nurse to still be the strongest killer for those 5 years
She needs a rework
-
Extra perks doesn’t solve the issue. We need ways to coordinate better as a solo team

I don't really wanna ruin your fun... But I think I have to say, there is legend about spine chill activates even when undetectable killer is within 36m of a survivor even without clear line of sight...
It's still a legend tho! Not sure, but beware...
I actually have yet to meet a spine chill gamer while playing against her. But it does counter her pretty hard
-
It’s still just as good as before with botany knowledge which was 28 seconds if I remember correctly. I agree though there was no point in nerfing it when medkits are still overpowered
-
I’ve been enjoying sadako a lot more recently. She’s definitely not amazing but is actually a threat now especially with good perks and add ons
Some maps like garden of joy or haddonfield are just awful for her though
-
If they take it away from Jane I’m officially leaving DBD for good. How am I meant to enjoy the game then?
-
Just make the perk worth running if you want to counter tunnelling. Right now you might as well just bring another perk and hope you last longer in chase
-
Honestly I just play whichever has shorter queues (which is mostly survivor now for me)

What do you mean, playing Plague, Nurse and Twins is legitimate too.
As a Survivor you know these Killers exist.
“Nobody should be punished for playing the game”
Then why am I punished by deadlock for completing a gen? The problem with Ds is it now does not help enough with tunnelling to warrant using a slot for it. Especially against top tier killers it might as well not exist anymore which sucks because with BBQ stacks gone there is no other incentive to hook other people especially with these killers

Nobody should be punished for playing the game, tunneling is a legitimate strategy, perks are not designed to help you with everything.
One might ask, Why was the Killer not successfully occupied? Why were you unhooked within reach of the Killer?
Old DS was too much a get out of jail free card, perks are not meant to ensure your survival, your teammates are.
Then why are survivors punished for dropping pallets against nurse? Or punished for using healing builds against plague? Or punished for spreading out against twins?
Different playstyle exist and having perks to improve and counteract them is literally the whole point of perks. In your logic gen regression or anti healing perks shouldn’t exist either since those counter strategies of gen rushing and constant healing

Yeah some, not all. People are acting like it’s the end of the world when it ######### isn’t, it’s entitlement to the max.
Definitely agree. While there are some easy to spot issues things like the base speed increases and new regression options will be figured out
But this is nothing new from the DBD community. Remember people complaining about For the people, Soul guard and even power struggle on their respective PTB’s?

well, yeah, but sometimes tunneling is a necessity. The difference between 5 seconds on a Myers or a Nurse was already quite a big gap and IMO, picking a killer because they are better at tunneling should also have a harder punishment in tunneling than a Clown who is forced to tunnel because the game goes too fast. Since lower tier killers tend to translate to longer chases, that would also mean that DS has a smaller impact.
Or in short, 3 second stun against a Myers or Clown would be enough to reach a tile or for teammates to bodyblock. 3 second stun against a Nurse and you might aswell not run DS.
Tbf clown can actually make DS near worthless when using a bottle beforehand. Endgame DS really was the only issue imo and I’m glad it was fixed but a 3 second stun just makes it feel worthless when there is other options to extend chases with or without a tunnelling killer
-
Tbf some changes are just bad no matter how early we see them. This only really applies to the 3 second DS stun which was just a dumb change
-
5 seconds was fine tbh. You should be punished for tunnelling if someone brings a perk to counter it just like survivors are punished in endgame if an endgame perk is brought

He's had free skins in two recent tomes, though...
Not saying we don't need Sweater Billy, but that Dredge skin is incredible.
I was more so referring to shop skins and non recoloured ones. He has 1 shard available store cosmetic and it’s a set
-
Set B looks way better imo but can’t argue with mikaela, trickster and Meg simps wallets I guess
-
If sweater billy doesn’t get in the game be very mad. We don’t need another event dredge skin we need billy to get a free skin for once

That's very subjective though. Some people might enjoy being more stealthy. It's effective as long it wastes time from the killer.
Totally but I know the majority of survivors prefer looping and being chased judging by how many survivors I find in solo queue/ killer matches who try the utmost to not be found
-
Because stealth is just so fun and engaging /s

Well notice that it allows to escape from tunneling better than much perks
Sprint burst still does that better while BL and lithe work better against instadown killers or killers who constantly injure like wraith or legion
-
Sprint burst is still on top but lithe and BL are still better than overcome imo
-
I will not accept sweater billy being lost to time. We must fight for him and Adam!!
-
Besides nurse I’ve been enjoying this update a lot. More perk variety is always nice especially on the survivor end of things
-
Love the new distortion and eruption. Also the new rift has some nice cosmetics

I don't even know much about Jonah, isn't he some sort of investigator? Detective or something?
Blight lore is interesting but complicated so far from what I know.
Jonah is a CIA agent who accidentally bombed village meaning he has killed more than most killers. He also had a code sent to him by the entity which he could never crack until he was taken by them
-
You sure picked the wrong tome to do this tbh (I highly doubt they can fix jonah’s lore and blight’s will probably be similar to his last one)
-
I feel the same is happening to killer at the moment as survivor before. Killers who tunnel and camp are going to be sent to MMR that is above their level until they get constant SWF sweat squads
-
I still miss my chains of hate background. I just want my vulture friend back :(
-
People are definitely overreacting as we have with every update (People we’re saying fast track, For the people and soul guard would be OP on the PTB for example)
We just need to see in a couple of days when people figure more stuff out
-
I don’t think they realised how much BBQ actually incentivised killers to go after other survivors. I feel like there’s no reason to not tunnel anymore besides your own fun

Tonight I have played against:
- 3 Onis
- 1 Hag
- 1 Demo
- 1 Huntress
- 1 Nurse
- 1 Dredge
- 1 Legion
- 1 Freddy
And none of my sweetheart. It’s a bit aggravating how some of these killers are super rare yet I still get them over Spirit.
Yeah people kinda saw the spirit nerf and completely dropped her because she actually takes some skill to play now.
While IW has been nerfed it’s good to mention that OTR does still hard counter her for 80 seconds after an unhook. That and new lightweight is probably annoying to deal with for her
-
I have yet to play against her. Mostly legion, bubba and huntress

Technically regression is more viable than it used to be because of the changes. I mean, by all means, run chase perks. But it does not really make sense to drop them. Well, I would drop Eruption and Call if Brine because... Lol.
100% 4 regression is more viable than before (just different perks now). I never liked running that anyway and having more off meta regression being viable is cool
-
Pretty sure they added the jungle gyms that used to be exclusive to ormond/yamaoka into Macmillan as well. If you’ve played those you should get a grasp of the loop pretty quickly
-
Yeah I’ve started running only 2 regression perks on Pinhead (Eruption and call of brine). Chase perks are much more viable now with brutal strength and STBFL being my go to options
-
Not only that but I had my 100% incentive for survivor despite the queues being much longer than my killer ones. I thought it was personal to you and was on the role that needed more players (shorter queue times)
-
Crutch perks do definitely exist though. I ran DMS and PR together which only ended up making me a worse player ata higher MMR. After I took it off I realised how kinda bad at killer I was
-
I find chase perks much more viable now with 90 second gens and base regression. Brutal and STBFL especially have become meta picks on a lot of killers imo
-
It gives endurance for 0.5 seconds which is pretty hard to get value from especially if the killer suspects you have it
-

Oh please...
Let's take a logical view - so you think this patch makes killers camp and tunnel you? Killer could do that even before update, so this update has nothing to do with this.
I tried some low-tier stealth killers (sadako, gf) to purpously tunnel someone just to see how spine chill, bt, otr and other stuff would handle this and to your surprise - I almost lost a match with 0 kills while tunneling. There is 0 ways that tunneling is efficient now.
It just makes me think that, you're played badly.
Gens are slower means only - "Why do I tunnel or camp? I have more time for chases, I don't need to play dirty anymore" mentality.
So I've 0 idea what are you talking about.
Tunnelling is insanely efficient now. 2 examples are Pinhead and nurse.
Nurse can easily catch up after an OTR hit and makes DS near useless with the 3 second stun.
Pinhead running original pain add on can literally make OTR or BT useless now.
-
Fire up, Brutal strength, Call of brine and Eruption makes pallets basically worthless and has decent regression on top. Great for killers like Pinhead and clown who struggle with predropping pallets
-

Why would you need to counter dead hard? Who in their right mind would run dead hard lol
Just in case someone is stupid enough to run it over any other exhaustion perk. Still though countering OTR is very powerful plus the extra stall through mending is nice
-
Yep because clearly DS needed that stun reduction. It’s not like killers like nurse can literally make it useless now
-

still needing to bring a perk to counter tunneling and camping tho..
I know I was joking. Tunnelling is way easier now especially with the strongest killers.
-
If you enjoy gen kicking bring eruption + call of brine. It’s pretty insane regression
-
Just bring OTR 4head
-
I’ve been dominating with pinhead so far. Build is STBFL, Brutal strength, Eruption and call of brine. Chases are very quick and regression from perks plus box makes the game pretty easy
This is not to mention the fact I could run the original pain add on to counter OTR of Dead hard
-
I swear Jane looks cross eyed now as well as having a really twitchy left eye. It’s really strange since her face animations were fine to begin with

I believe, because of how many platforms BHVR maintains, they keep -very- accurate netplay statistics. They say they don't track DCs, but if enough Pinheads start absolutely pounding them, BHVR will have to care, because of the numbers. Make them care.
I’ll make it my sole mission to do to pinhead what BHVR did to Freddy. Off to run engineer’s fang every game
