Either Candyman, as long as Tony Todd voiced him, or my most recent* suggestion for a two-body killer.
*It's kinda old at this point, but it's the latest suggestion I've made at this point.

You mean the bug?

I played for 4 hours to get 3/3. I don't need the incorrect wiki. I experienced my self.
You don't get iri with 9 hooks.
I had 10 hook merciless victories and the devout was gold. So please.
Take a look on page 1 and 2 and see the threads about this challenge.
I don't need the incorrect wiki.
You must be thinking of a different wiki. The DbD one is accurate. Could be better if people who see problems with it were to speak with the admins about it or even help improve it directly, but it's accurate.

It would reduce the amount of noise your clunks make when repairing gens so the killer wouldn't know you're on it. With the new animations plus the stalling sounds Technician no longer provides that feature.
A good buff could be to completely silence the stalling sounds.
A friend of mine has old videos that prove otherwise. It reduced the distance at which they're audible, yes, but doesn't reduce the actual volume. Once I return I should be able to post some links.
-
The description is incorrect; the perk is not supposed to reduce the volume, just the maximum hearing range.
Source: Old videos.

Difference with the wake up bug was that it benifited those who equiped it,not the opposition
As killer i can't control what survivors equip
You can avoid the DS bug by simply not equiping it
That's a good point, but OP is talking about actively trying to make the bug occur. It's no different from survivors trying to make killers get stuck in pallets, if you want a better comparison.

It's literally just playing Hag normally and not respecting Decisive. I'm not doing anything to purposely activate the bug... I just know it usually happens on its own
I'm sure the people using Wake Up! when it affected all interactions were also "just using the perk normally".
-
Yes, it's wrong to abuse bugs.
-
I'm reminded of two trials I had this week.
One where I was playing Ghost Face and grabbed a survivor off a gen within the first 20-30 seconds of a trial. Another gen popped while I was in the animation.
The other I was playing survivor, and we gen rushed so ######### hard the trial ended in 5 minutes. We didn't even try to gen rush, it just kinda happened. Nobody got any points and it was deeply unsatisfying.
The problem is that, as @4scoreand7skinsago said, you can't increase the gen times any more. Since it's possible (if not likely) that you can sit on a gen for its entire duration, they're already at the maximum tolerable limit, if not a touch beyond that. The solution needs to be more nuanced than making them take 100 seconds to complete or something.
-
They didn't say they didn't need it, they just said they can work on game health and new content simultaneously thanks to their expanded team. You also have to keep in mind that programming follows the same adage as cooking: too many programmers spoil the code.
With that said, given the cut corners that were necessary due to the game's initial, restrictive budget, I wouldn't mind the team that works on new content try to untangle the spaghetti code instead of making a new chapter, while another team keeps working on bug fixes. The art team, naturally, would keep making new cosmetics, which should provide a steady source of income.
However, I understand they already have a ton of stuff in the pipeline that needs to be finished first, so it'd probably take some time (I'm guessing at least six months) until we saw any results.
-
Yes, the report system could be better. The devs have acknowledged this, if I'm not mistaken. However, you need to work with what we've got right now if you don't want to let hackers run rampant because you "can't be bothered".

Indeed. "Prep time" is just a lazy writer's excuse to throw logic out the window and have Batman be the victor.

That perk needs to be buffed, iirc it only shaves like 6 seconds off the entire sacrifice process at tier 3
It's about 11 seconds, actually, but still pathetic. The problem is that the sacrifice time is part of the game balance. Monstrous Shrine needs a rework altogether, not a buff. It was a poorly designed perk from the start.

They were removed not for balance, but because for them to work they needed to create a map for every light level which is way too much work.
It was for both. There's no way to make maps that are neither too light nor too dark with every combination of those offerings, that's just a fact. And maps that are too light or too dark are unbalanced.
-
It's 60 seconds, you can time it. I'm guessing your perception of time is altered during the trial due to adrenaline.
-
I'm a survivor main, but...
In the past, when I tried to punish survivors' bad behavior (mostly sandbaggers), I was "rewarded" with very little BP, a depip, trolling, and toxicity in the post-game chat, often with other survivors actually defending the sandbagger.
Now? Not my ######### problem. Sucks when I'm playing survivor, but this is the result of other survivors excusing the #########.
-
You shouldn't be concerned, but neither should you go out of your way to make other players miserable. That last part is something many people have trouble understanding.
For those who are just playing "for fun", I say this: if you're not playing to win, you shouldn't complain if you lose. I know I don't.

Will you be the one to refund everyone?

Aren’t the killers partially at fault for instigating that scenario, and do the killers ever get in trouble for encouraging the culprit to lead them to the other survivor?
How do killers instigate that? Survivors are the ones who decide to become turncoats.

Just have a game with Nea, Feng, Quen vs Hag in Farm map. For some reasons, Nea got Gen grabbed just 1 min in. Hooked then doing 3 escape attempts, failed to 2nd hook stage, then she got unhooked.
Other 2 and I body block for Nea, later Feng got hooked.
When I at a Gen, hearing TR, I started to look around and Hag was already behind me. Downed, hooked. (May explain why Nea got grabbed at the start).
1 Gen left. I open a chest and got a key. Feng died just soon after. I started to signal Nea & Quen to follow me (through my Kindred from Feng's death hook). They keep doing gen.
I tried to get to Quentin to signal him to follow me, but Quentin got chased, hooked in basement. He suicided. I kept signal Nea to follow me, but she also ignore me. I waited until TR is super close then I escape through hatch.
What I want to say: when a survivor keep signal you to follow them, please do.
Yeah, I learned that lesson the hard way. It went almost the same as your trial, except the killer was chasing the survivor with the key near the end.
-
Too easy to abuse. Most SWF are 2-man, they could DC because the weather isn't quite right for that map and everyone else gets a free pass. What we need is to punish DCers.

Tunnelling happens DESPITE DS, not BECAUSE of DS.
Even those instances where survivors play in-your-face to challenge to eat the DS, the killer tunnels because of the taunting, not because of DS itself.
Almost any match without an obsession is an instant tunnel-fest, showing that the rationale that it's DS fault is simply counterfactual.

I never said DS is what caused tunneling, I simply explained why I think it exacerbates the problem and then asked what people thought. You're free to disagree, but at least reply to what I actually said. I even put in this edit precisely because I knew someone would show up and comment something like what you said, but apparently it wasn't enough:
EDIT: And no, I'm not saying that "tunneling" would go away if DS were removed. I'm saying what I actually wrote, don't try to extrapolate or assume anything else.

There is something like 3 or 4 guns per person in the US. And yet more people die to car accidents. Do we blame the cars? Do we blame the car manufacturers?
A good portion, if not the majority of gun deaths is planned suicide. Most of the gun violence is gang related. Which speaks more about culture i would argue.
What isnt plastered all oved the internet is the number of crimes deterred by guns. The number of people saved by law abiding trained citizens with guns.
England took away the guns. So knife violence surged. Then they banned knives. What's next? Mandatory boxing gloves when in public?
Australia bans pepper spray. So what is the deterrent for a violent criminal from targeting a small woman or man? None.
We all hear all the horrible things guns do. Its plastered in our faces by completely one sided mainstream news conglomorate with an agenda.
You can argue that one sided YT channels are propaganda, but no more or less than televised 'news' programs
We can debate the issue of gun violence until the cows come home, as they say, but the data is what it is. You can call it propaganda or "an agenda" all you'd like. You've made up your mind, there's nothing I can present that will make you change your mind.

"There isn't enough bugs"
It's like you don't even play killer (although I know you do, as I've seen your previous posts).
Not being able to hook survivors, not being able to vault windows, not being able to break pallets, or kick generators is kinda game breaking. I'd much rather they patch these bugs before bringing the DC penalty back.
I'm actually a survivor main and have played killer a handful of times in the last few months, not including the PTB. I only noticed the hooking bug, on both sides. Every killer so far managed to break every pallet, vault every window, and damage every gen they wanted.
-
We're in an English section of the forum, so I'd appreciate if you spoke English. I also don't speak German.
From what I understood, you're disparaging what I presume to be a national authority on crime statistics because they don't count crimes that weren't reported and because it doesn't match your personal experience. You also mentioned a YT channel with curated content as evidence that you're right.
My point is that:
- No one can know statistics about crimes that aren't reported. That includes you. To say that you're right, but the data that proves it cannot be found is the hallmark of a conspiracy theory and not of a factual hypothesis.
- Your personal experience doesn't have to reflect the overall statistic - that's how statistics work, after all. Just because I don't experience crime in my country, for example, doesn't mean there is no crime in my country. Likewise, just because you're seeing more crime doesn't mean there's more crime overall in your country.
- YouTube channels with curated content are only there to provide a single type of perspective. If you watched a YT channel showing nothing but Flat Earth nonsense and took it as factual, you would wrongly conclude the Earth is flat. If you watched a YT channel showing nothing but homeopathic nonsense and took it as factual, you would wrongly conclude one of the core tenets of chemistry (and basic common sense) is wrong. If you watched a YT channel showing nothing but people committing crimes or making themselves look foolish, you would wrongly conclude crime is on the rise and that everyone around you is an idiot.
Is that better?
-
If you take a curated YT channel as your main source of information, you're just going to conclude whatever the channel shows you. For example, most streamers only upload successes to YT, but the fact is they lose a lot as well.
Furthermore, statistical information gathered from across a country beats anecdotal experience any day. For example, if I were to base my judgement of my country solely on what I experience, I'd conclude there is absolutely no crime whatsoever, which is just not true.

Well not any time. But the crime rate has increased significantly in the last 5 years, in all crimes. And I know you will laugh about this but I would feel a littel bit saver If I had one :(
I won't laugh, no, because it's just psychological. In truth, though, guns make you less safe and you're more likely to shoot yourself or something/someone you care about than you are to take down a threat.
It also doesn't surprise me that crime rate has increased.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/192019/please-add-more-severe-disconnecting-penalties
DBD did have disconnect penalties but hackers were able to give certain streamers 72 hour bans.
Personally in the game's current state, with all the bugs I don't think the devs should bring back the disconnect penalty until they fixed the bugs. For example if I get stuck due to the rock glitch, then I'm not going to stay in that game.
There aren't enough bugs to justify the lack of a DC penalty. The penalty itself is so small (the first few times) that it's hardly noticeable. The issue is indeed hackers or whatever increasing other players' penalties.

Honestly it's the same with whispers. I like to KYF a lot with some really good friends, and they ALWAYS complain about whispers. I can understand how whispers is more annoying to go against because it legit does not have a counter, you can't hide from whispers. Still, is it bad to not want a game of hide and seek? Sometimes I feel like survivors don't want to actually have chases, they want to hide in a corner and wait until the killer leaves to do gens :/
What the vocal survivors seem to want is the illusion of danger without, y'know, danger. Like in an amusement park, in one of those "scary" rides. Unfortunately for them, this is PvP, and killers are not here to entertain survivors.

Survivors don’t want you to camp the hook.
Survivors also don’t want you to have an incentive to leave the hook for a new chase.
Survivors also complain that repairing gens is boring, and the only fun part is getting chased.
Go figure......
Don't forget they also don't like to be "tunneled" (i.e.: chased).

Listen, if @thesuicidefox says it doesn't work on Xbox, I believe them. There's no reason for them to lie, they're not a cult leader trying to deceive the cultists or a pathological liar.
