Point was to stop gen rushing
And the point of their reply was to call out problems with your proposal.

You can tap really quickly and get almost the same speed. You'll hit the same amount of knives.
Perhaps that's true(?), but you're also forgetting that aiming is objectively more harder on console. I'm also not going to be debating this "aiming is harder" bit, it's already been well-established that aiming in video games is easier on PC than console.

I know Tony is, he never played survivor at all, I just love putting him in his place.
As for forced slugs because of gens? Not that often actually. I tended to eat the DS in that case because I still had Pop or Ruin active. And no, overperforming means that simply using it means you have a much higher chance of winning. Yet, to use it succesfully, you already need the gameknowledge and skill required to have a high chance of winning. So perhaps in the top 0.01%, sure, it was overperforming. But that's tournament definitions. Tournament skill levels do not really reflect well to the average gameplay. If you were to balance the game towards tournaments, you would kill the game as it is.
And no, DS was strong, but DS Unbreakable was nowhere near Ruin Undying for example, even though many, many killers still think they were equals. Ruin Undying made builds possible that never should be possible(a good example I personally made, was only downing people while they were exposed or could be gen grabbed, while playing Doctor. My perks were Ruin, Undying, Iron Maiden and Make Your Choice, I got a 4k that match because they simply couldnt finish gens, nor break totems). While DS unbreakable was tough, sure, incredibly annoying and sometimes outright toxic, at the very least survivors had to be good players. There are still killer perks existing right now, that are much worse to survivors than DS was to killers.
You aren't putting anyone in their place. Tony is just not amazing at arguing. Also, just in case, Killer biased =/= Killer main. You actually sound Survivor biased yourself, this entire response comes off as Survivor tilted, and I can easily demonstrate why.
"Not that often" Well, perhaps that was the case, but that's your experience, and that doesn't account for unhooking attempts.
"overperforming means that simply using it means you have a much higher chance of winning." Yes. DS was a meta perk, using it by bringing it with you and/or doing unsafe rescues with it, hopping in lockers to avoid getting slugged... these all increase your chances of winning by denying the killer pressure because of a crutch perk. Simple.
"Yet, to use it succesfully, you already need the gameknowledge and skill required to have a high chance of winning."
Do you actually believe that hiding behind a perk and using surefire, no skill tactics is "skill"? This is why you're Survivor biased, you think what everyone complained about was "skillful". This is more than enough grounds to dismiss the discussion because it's most likely going to be a waste of time, you WILL clearly think DS was not as bad as a add-on no matter what I say. Survivor = good, Killer = bad.
"Ruin Undying made builds possible that never should be possible(a good example I personally made, was only downing people while they were exposed or could be gen grabbed, while playing Doctor. My perks were Ruin, Undying, Iron Maiden and Make Your Choice, I got a 4k that match because they simply couldnt finish gens, nor break totems)."
Iron Maiden and Make Your Choice? Sounds 100% like a bad team. Sure you weren't at lower ranks OR playing against teams who didn't know how to deal with this build?
And you got results with a Exposed build that works best on Doctor specifically (I see the Iron Maiden synergy)... so this is therefore Ruin and Undying's fault (lmao)...? I don't know how to respond to this.
They also failed to do gens against a M1 Killer with a chase power that's easy to counter with vaccuming? Interesting.
"While DS unbreakable was tough, sure, incredibly annoying and sometimes outright toxic, at the very least survivors had to be good players."
There was absolutely nothing skillful about hiding behind a crutch shield and popping Unbreakable when you got punished for it. Absolutely nothing skillful in the slightest. Period.
"There are still killer perks existing right now, that are much worse to survivors than DS was to killers."
Sure, there's some annoying Killer perks... NOED. And that's pretty much it. Other meta Killer perk are 100% not on the level as pre-nerf DS. Undying originally was, but you're saying "existing right now".

PC has recoil too. It's just when we hold M1 he has recoil so we tap M1 instead and it massively reduces the recoil. I think maybe if you tap R2 for ps4 or whatever button you use to throw knifes on Xbox it could reduce the recoil, maybe you should try tapping. I know we are used to just holding R2 when playing shooters on console and they don't suffer from recoil, but this guy does.
And if you can't afford to do that because you need to hit a Survivor with multiple knives asap? Remember that you need 8 knives to take a health state.
PC Trickster have the advantage of being able to easily keep their aim on the Survivor even with recoil. Console players get unfairly hit by the recoil, aiming is already hard on console tbh, there doesn't need to be difficulties that pretty much only affect console players.

Just means you're bad. Overselective isnt overperforming. Or do you think Ruin is overperforming too?
I've faced over 1000 DS users against me, I've only been DS's 50-ish times, 40 times of that being intentional. So that's 10 DS plays out of 1000 where it was unintentional and helped survivors. How was it overperforming?
Overperforming means that when it's used, it objectively increases your chances of winning, which, it did not. Killers were still averaging 3k's with DS reaching a near 100% usage.
Now, how can survivors LOSE when they use a perk that's overperforming?
No offense intended, but Tony is Killer biased.
And of those 1000 DS users, how many of those were you forced to slug a Survivor because they were trying to rush a gen or trying to unhook a Survivor because they knew DS was active and that they couldn't be hooked?
And I'm fairly certain that DS overperformed by your definition, since the Killer had to respect it or risk a Survivor getting away with game-changing plays that shouldn't be do-able otherwise.

But at least it got nerfed. Mori was still broken after its nerf. Nurse is still broken after her nerf. Spirit is still pretty broken after her nerf.
So no, pretty sure all I have is apples. Iri has remained the same since 2016, DS has changed 3 times and wasnt really that broken. It was super powerful, but not broken.
Literal moving the goalposts... AND a declaration that your original point stands because you moved it. "B-But DS was nerfed, and all of these other things were still broken after their nerfs(????) so therefore all I have is apples!! it was never that broken!"
It got "nerfed" with small changes over YEARS that didn't fix the core issue, then the REWORK introduced a new major issue.
Moris were only given a single nerf until recently and even then, it was only ebony that was broken.
Nurse is not broken now lmao she has a big weakness for big maps now and her OP add-ons are gone
Spirit was never nerfed
And no, you DON'T have just apples, don't try this goalpost move again please.
"DS has changed 3 times and wasnt really that broken."
How to tell if someone has not played Killer.
The post-rework invincibility shield was well-known, Unbreakable and jumping in lockers became more commonly used for a while because of how slugging recently unhooked Survivors was basically mandatory. DS was also a perk, not a add-on. How many times did you actually run into iri head huntress specifically?
-
@Predated said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2197804#Comment_2197804
Iri head huntress was heavily overperforming, DS wasnt.
This is demonstrably false and easy to call out, DS was one of the most picked survivor perks (I think BHVR's stats showed this too, think the stats were made post rework) and was abused by experienced Survivors to rush gens in front of the Killer.
Getting a Iri head huntress requires that you be playing against a Huntress, AND that they have the add-on. Which is another thing: One can only last for a game, the other is a perk that can be used EVERY game because once you have the perk, it's permanent. This is still apples and oranges.

I see. I could consider it luck or bad luck if that wouldn´t happen 85% of the times.
I dont think is about the perks or the ability of your teammates. Because there are also better and worse killers with better and worse perks.
Best skilled survivors must be tied with top assasins, so they have a close and balanced game experience. The same with all around or low skill survivors. Everybody must have a "close" and balanced game according to his skill, so game would be an appropiate challenge. And therefore, a exciting and funny experience. And that´s how every single player should be around 50% win-loss. I play solo survivor on level 4 red rank, and survivors are destroyed 85% of the times.
The big issues with this is that Killers will always go against teams who know what they're doing if we implement this... and Survivors would always go against good Killers who are most likely playing Spirit or a top tier killer. This was a complaint with MMR.
-
Most of these are wonderful, however.
In regards to Camaderie, the issue is that this perk is worthless in solo queue, other Survivors won't know you brought this unless they happen to be looking. Change Camaderie so that it works in both phases AND it can be activated via Activate Ability. The struggle change should make it easy to use this whenever you want.
Any Means Necessary should not have a map wide aura, but aura reading for dropped pallets is fine. Limit it to like... 32m or something and we're good.
And increase the aura range for Bond.
Increase the base amount of seconds on Babysitter too, it triggering for other Survivors with a protection hit definitely sounds good, but the amount of seconds Babysitter lasts for atm is worthless. Maybe make unhooked Survivors quieter during that time would be nice as well.
Blood Pact, in addition to a bigger meter range as you suggested, should have the movement speed buff increased some more and a increase in healing speed when you are healing the obsession or the obsession is healing you.

On high wall tiles, mind gaming isn't that much harder. Being 110% doesn't make moonwalking not work.
I will admit that the other two things you said are true. Main Event needs a buff and Shack is difficult to run. All that said, he's still not the worst killer in the game. He is overall worse than Huntress or Deathslinger but he is definitely not the worst.
It certainly makes it impossible if you can't catch Survivors off-guard or if Survivors have MORE time to guess the moonwalk because you're 110%. And of course, if Survivors always position themselves right, you'll never be able to M1 them because they'll always see you coming, and you won't be capable of the faster movements that other 115% Killers can do. You'd have to rely on your power to even things out and it's worthless at walled areas.
There's absolutely no reason to play Trickster, a PAID Killer, over Huntress, a FREE Killer. Which should be a MAJOR cause for concern. BHVR absolutely does not deserve to profit off of this chapter, not until they buff Trickster immensely. At minimum, they need to give Trickster some way of doing work across all tiles or help with 4v1 if they refuse to give him map mobility. He's chase-oriented and he's bad at it.

-
I'd love to have a mid-chapter patch that focuses on reworking and buffing perks while the map team uploads a new reworked map. Survivor perks like Poised don't get used for obvious reasons, and there are too many filler perks that are obviously made to ensure the "3 new teachables per chapter" rule stays unbroken.

There are places where Trickster's power is incredibly strong and borderline oppressive. Out in the open, at short loops, and any time the Survivor animation locks themselves, Trickster's knives can put in massive work. Also unhooking in front of a Trickster... isn't as bad as doing it in front of PH or Bubba, but it is much worse than a lot of Killers. One good example is that car loops next to Badham Preschool. Against a decent number of killers, that's a reasonably good loop. Against Trickster, the Survivor is going to lose a health state there and go down if they don't leave with the injury speed boost.
However at any structure with high walls, his power is much less useful and mind gaming with M1 is almost necessary. On the plus side though, Trickster is the shortest ranged Killer we have in the game which makes his M1 mind game potential better than either Huntress or Deathslinger. That's a good thing since Huntress and Deathslinger have powers that are much better at getting cheeky hits through windows or off of seeing the Survivor briefly.
Overall, if you can aim I'd say he's better than a lot of the usual suspects for "worst killer in the game". He's definitely not above average though. His release state was a very solid contender for worst killer. Thankfully he's been buffed since then, but I'm not surprised that that perception has stuck with him..
Don't forget that Main Event is still trash, Killer shack ruins him, and "mindgaming" with a 110% Killer is difficult to impossible, since the core concept behind these Killers is that they have strong powers. Trickster does not have such a power, otherwise he'd be able to do at LEAST some work across any kind of tile.

We could allow for a way for solo survivors to know but other than that, the perk is fine.

Personally i found old freddy unique and very fun with his complete invis and then suddenly you feel yourself drifting to sleep. He was wraith but instead of uncloaking to hit you hed sleep you then smack you. Gave the survivors some warning to get to a loop.
Which is exactly why he was bullied by even rank 20s, and why the average player steered away from him.
Do you need to see videos of old Freddy struggling to get anything done to remind you why this rework was praised originally?

If his "biggest advantage" was to allow survivors to:
-Complete gens right in front of him
-Do totems in front of him
-Being the only killer not being able to camp hooks even if he was forced to
-Turning generators that were in dead zones into now safe places because of how much distance a survivor could make before Freddy is finally able to hit them. (They could literally run 28m in any direction they wanted for free)
Then I think there was a problem
"Holding W" was always meta just like looping its just that more people are vocal about it because I guess some streamer said something and it blew up, its called "ressource management".
Also any mindgame Freddy was able to do, any other killer could of done as well. The "Mindgame" with Freddy was if a survivor stayed at a pallet while in dream transition he could move back and forth and use the popping in and out of reality to his advantage. Problem is this only worked on bad survivors since no good survivor in their right mind would camp a pallet.
Old Freddy was and will for ever he the weakest itteration of any killer in the history of DbD. And thats saying a lot considering PTB Ghost Face was a thing
GeneralV is someone who will defend Old Freddy to the end, ignoring any and all evidence on how it's better for the game that old Freddy is gone. Just keep this in mind.

This is afaik not an exploit because McLean said that the turn cap was "working as intended" and to "make of that what you will" so it could be intentional game design.
But no shade, it really seems like Blight players are the ones who really don't wanna play the game how it's meant to be played.

"We"? So, you speak for every single Freddy player out there?
Not for every single Freddy player, but I believe most Old Freddy mains would agree with me on this one.
And yes, he was the worst killer, you definitely weren't there at the time or completely forgot how Survivors abused the 7 second sleep by fishing for skill checks AND saving right in front of him during the 7 second period... and how Freddy had absolutely no chase power.
Yes, I remember that all too well. As I've said, and I can prove it if you want, I started playing DBD in 2018.
The abuse during the transition most certainly was one of his weaknesses and perhaps his biggest problem.
However, that is far from making him the worst killer at the time. As I've said, he required a lot of time and practice, but he had potential. And was much more fun to play then the current generic Freddy that we have.
You've mentioned the game's focus on chasing and downing, but you were not supposed to do that with him. You had to keep juggling people between awake and asleep, applying pressure with you insane slowdown, committing to chases only when you were ready, take advantages of people missing Skill Checks (Overcharge was god-tier for that). You could literally make gens take forever, if you were good enough.
I am not saying that he was perfect, because he wasn't. But all he required were a few buffs and QoL improvements, never a full rework.
And no worries, my friend, you didn't insult me. Yet, we Old Freddy do deserve our killer back, as what happened was extremely unfair. And I will not lose hope, for one day I will see this again:
"Pull in Dream"
Of course, it's also completely possible that they don't agree with you, and possibly feel that this rework is good. You don't speak for everyone.
And no, you very clearly don't if you're doubling down on this and and thinking "uniqueness" is something that matters the most.
Actually, to play by these definitions, current Freddy is unique because of the gen teleporting, dream pallets and the snares. Slinger and those Killers with variations of Huntress powers are "unique" so... surely this is fine too, right?
And that wasn't even his biggest problem. Tied with that was the fact that he had no chase potential, which you're seemingly ignoring in favoring of doubling down on this. No way to secure hits and/or down, people run away and blow skill checks on gens and divide you around. And guess which is the best way to genrush? 3 Survivors on 3 different gens. Freddy had no teleport at the time so he couldn't divide pressure easily. Applying sleep and leaving was a worse equivalent of Deep Wound, you couldn't even run as fast as current Legion.
Freddy took a immense amount of time to even injure (or he'd just get looped for multiple gens) because of being a M1 Killer, which good Survivors love because they can run you around for a tremendous amount of time without worrying about your power while doing the tried and true tactics. I'm assuming you're also the type of person who thinks that it's the Killer's fault if they can't get hits, and the Survivor is "skilled" for always sitting in the perfect positions to prevent any kind of chance to """mindgame""" as a M1 Killer?
Also, if you weren't supposed to do that, the core thing to winning as Killer in this game, then that makes him a bad Killer, because of everything I've stated above.
"You had to keep juggling people between awake and asleep, applying pressure with you insane slowdown, committing to chases only when you were ready, take advantages of people missing Skill Checks (Overcharge was god-tier for that). You could literally make gens take forever, if you were good enough."
Yeah, see, I myself played Nightmare for quite a bit, getting his trophies/achievements on PSN on my way to getting all trophies... I did exactly this and it doesn't work against anything other than bad Survivors, because you get genrushed. This "YOU JUST HAVE TO BE GOOOOD" argument that everyone tries doesn't work because Freddy had no mobility and could not keep everyone asleep enough. Like I'm saying here, sleep was like Deep Wounds. It does nothing to stop genrush at all cuz the moment you leave, Survivors will blow the first check they see. And if you don't immediately come back and resleep them, they'll stay on the gen. And as a result, they're keeping you distracted while OTHER Survivors rush gens. Old Freddy, fundamentally, does not work. The concept behind him was terrible, this one is 100% better and can secure hits. And don't try "add-ons" and "perks", a Killer should not be reliant on either of those to not get bullied by anyone who doesn't respect his power.
Also, your playstyle is innately unhealthy for Survivors, because it encourages the 20 min Freddy games that people complain about, with Freddy not having to really outplay or think at all and just get looped for 20 mins until all the pallets are gone and the Survivors struggle to defend themselves... which is uninteractive for the Freddy, and annoying for the Survivor because their attempts to waste time would be futile no matter their skills, if your style worked against good Survivors (it doesn't).
"And no worries, my friend, you didn't insult me. Yet, we Old Freddy do deserve our killer back, as what happened was extremely unfair. And I will not lose hope, for one day I will see this again:"
Yeah, ok, so, if this doesn't convince you, I don't think I'm gonna be reading this any further. I'm frankly not interested in seeing a triple down on someone who thinks they "deserve" things, who will defend a unhealthy design no matter what anyone says and thinks it's "unfair" that it was changed... it's like I'm witnessing a cult mentality, almost. I don't want to continue this kind of argument if it's pointless.
Just in case, I'll show the video:
This video, closer to the beginning, shows the issues off, people saving and picking up Survivors in front of Freddy, and Freddy can't do anything. This only works because the team is bad at chases however. If they didn't make these big mistakes like a competent Survivor would, this wouldn't happen. And you don't need 1000 hours to loop a TRUE M1 Killer like old Freddy.
If you want videos from someone going against good Survivors with old Freddy, you can try Tru3's old videos to be reminded of the frustration, because you 100% have forgotten the pain and need to look at how Freddy was easily exploited. The devs themselves even admitted that the concept behind old Freddy was bad, BHVR said that during the showing of reworked Freddy's abilities in a stream, iirc.

Oh, we most certainly were. For example, Freddy has been my main ever since I first started playing DBD (2018), and his rework only went live in 2019.
Second, he was not the worst killer. Despite the memes, he was extremely underrated and a solid mid-tier if you knew how to play him, which is something that demanded time and practice.
What happened to us Old Freddy is extremely unfair, and we deserve to get our killer back. We don't want to be stuck with a generic and unfun version of him. He is not better this way.
"We"? So, you speak for every single Freddy player out there?
And yes, he was the worst killer, you definitely weren't there at the time or completely forgot how Survivors abused the 7 second sleep by fishing for skill checks AND saving right in front of him during the 7 second period... and how Freddy had absolutely no chase power. SWFs also abused him too. "Uniqueness" is the only "argument" people who want old Freddy back have, because absolutely nothing makes logical sense otherwise. This forums frequently dunked on Freddy, was excited for the rework iirc, and considered him the worst for good reason.
And now, for some reason, now we have people clamoring for old Freddy... I don't know if this is a love for pain or a love for not getting anything done. I assume it's both.
If you'd like, I can pull up Noob3 videos on old Freddy, just to show you how nobody respected his power in the slightest, how chases went with him, and how not even boosted Survivors didn't fear him.
"solid mid-tier" Implying Old Freddy is as good as current Doctor, current Legion or any mid-tier Killer? ... Why?
Freddy was frustrating for Killer because of the 7 second sleep time and how this game is focused on chasing and downing, plus how he was a M1 Killer mid-chase and how Self-Care destroyed him completely. Freddy was boring for Survivor because it was easy to loop him, how his sleep state was unhealthy because of the forced slowdown iirc...
I'm not trying to insult you, but it was completely fair, the DLC is worth spending money on now, and you don't "deserve" anything. Again, not trying to insult you, but you're coming off as extremely entitled and this post screams "blinded by nostalgia".

He was boring back then as well. 7 seconds to hit was abused to hell and back by genrushing in front of Freddy to fish for skill checks, and Self-Care completely shut him down. It's also boring for Survivor because it was basically a guaranteed 4 man escape. If I recall correctl, Freddy had absolutely no chase power then, and was a literal M1 Killer.
If you'd like, I can actually fetch footage of old Freddy from Noob3's channel, he did a video a very long while back before the Freddy rework went live, I think.

I don't know - becoming jaded and flippant in response to other people's nastiness isn't really a solution to the problem of people being nasty. It's more of a contributor. People could use more empathy, and not the Claudette kind.
Insults and such are wrong but the tools to leave these situations exist. If you're in pre-game chat, leave the lobby. If you're in post game chat, close the chat (like a bunch of people already seem to do) or leave the lobby since the match is done. You don't have to "toughen up" and tolerate it, you have the tools to leave.

Saying slurs and people telling you to die are fine is literally the worst take, imo.
They aren't saying it's fine, they address it as "negativity". They're saying to not focus on it or take it to heart.
Your point has been made, but words are ultimately words, and you can always close the chat or just leave the post game chat. I know that slurs and insults can be offensive, and it is wrong, but the tools to stand up and leave are right there, and you can always do a report if it bothers you that much.

I really think you are underestimating the strength of this tactic. When I have experienced it, it is a full swf running OoO (perfect information). Every down is hard won, they can prevent downs by jumping in a locker. If you go for the grab, you lose. If go after the new guy, it is a fresh chase with the strong possibility they will use the same tactic.
Not really, feint the locker open by standing right in front of it, then attack the rescuer, same tactic when dealing with people who do flashlight saves. Survivors become 40% less altruistic when injured, because it's bad for them and the smarter ones will know it's a liability for the entire team if they go down.
OoO was also nerfed, if you recall.

I myself play on console... but how would they optimize it for PS4 exactly? There are issues with frame rate but I don't know how they would fix it.

I agree with this, but Myers shouldn't be able to use comms.
Also, even if they don't add this, killers should be able to participate in the pre-game chat with the survivors.
The reason why they did this is probably to prevent teaming with the Killer. Imagine if you wanted to play a normal game, and the Killer was trying to get another teammate to sabotage your game.
Letting Killer see pre-game chat could be interesting, but then that opens the door for toxicity without the Killer being able to respond, like Survivors insulting the Killer before the game.

DBD Playerstats.
Darn, it's Steam only.

Sluzzy, aren't you are Nurse main?
Kinda hypocritical to decry OP Killers when you play the most OP Killer.

Sluzzy's stats for reference
Out of curiosity, how did you get these stats?

So maybe a week ago tru3t4a1ent uploaded a video on youtube from he's twitch stream showing a blatant cheater. Easy antigay46. He's just dropped in my lobby as bill with the gamepass lvl 70 bill outfit. Are the devs doing nothing. He probably had 2k viewers watching the cheater live followed by over 10k viewers on the youtube video. Why are the devs not ip banning this scrub or are they to busy designing cosmetics to care. Really shocking tbh
Out of curiosity, did you encounter this person on PC? Tru3 may have showed off their numbers or whatever, if you want to confirm it's the same person, there's a way to check. It's how streamers are supposed to report cheaters, I think.

1) You might want to remove the username, naming and shaming is against the forum rules.
2) Thats probably a steam username, you can change those pretty much as often as you want, this might not be the same person.
3) You can get the level 70 of the rift, by spending money, if you felt like it.
I don't know if this applies since it's not "naming" anyone tbh.

I don't believe this to be true. Sure against a really optimal swf the twins will hurt be so will any other killer besides nurse or spirit. Not every killer needs to be comp material as most matches are either swfs that don't play very efficiently or solo queue players with no communication whatsoever. Victor's ability to slug a team of injured survivors quickly and allow the player to be two places at once is incredibly strong.
There is no reason that a decent twins player should have to camp unless they just simply aren't good at using the twins ability to create map pressure without camping. Just like hag shouldn't be able to trap right under hook, because a good hag doesn't need to and it's an unfun mechanic.
You're acting like Victor's slugging potential wasn't given a bigger counter, and that Victor and Charlotte both have the same capabilities.
"Hag shouldn't be able to trap under the hook"
"unfun"

I am back AGAIN to say that I've faced this build against a Trickster. A ######### Trickster! Full red lobby. And they got a 4K.
When I said this build is unwinnalbe, it looks like I was right. Hexes should NOT protect other hexes. These perks are powerful on their own and should require the killer to use skill to defend them.
How did you possibly manage to lose vs a Trickster with a hex build, of all things?
Trickster, the ONE Killer who cannot defend their totems in the slightest. The Killer who can be "no win scenario"'d the most... Are you sure your team wasn't just bad?

Look back in the thread, they made a Twitter post during pride month, and a while later, Not_Queen confirmed that they were working on it. Despite what you may think, not all businesses lie to gain popularity.
Yeah, I'm sorry but I'm currently not up for reading 16 pages of comments, more than likely filled with flaming and arguing, since this subject is emotionally charged.
And yes, I literally said that they made a Twitter post during pride month. But the person who runs the account isn't necessarily a dev. They work at BHVR but they don't actually develop the game.
"Not_Queen confirmed that they working on it" Do you really think a dev team needs one year and beyond to add a gay Survivor? You must know that this is a weak response. Mentioning it in their backstory isn't that hard in the slightest.
No, it is far more likely that their shareholders are affecting their decisions because of who owns a portion of BHVR, and you and everyone else fell for a PR move to gain Internet points.

ew? Really?
the horror and especially slasher genre has had strong ties with sexuality since the very beginning. It does belong, if you like it or not.
making the inclusion vague just like they have made heterosexual relations is pretty much all people are asking for. Just a mention of a Same-Sex relationship or something in that direction.
Gender politics doesn’t have anything to do with this either. Don’t know why you want to make this about politics?
"he horror and especially slasher genre has had strong ties with sexuality since the very beginning."
You specifically mean Friday the 13th, don't you? Halloween did have Laurie with her BF I think, but Friday had characters straight up playing strip poker.
I'd be fine with vague inclusion...
Gender politics does indeed have to do with it, "if you like it or not". TC, judging by their word choice in later replies, sounds like one of those people and this subject is innately tied to politics due to a political party claiming to be fighting for minorities.

This videogame has multiple mentioned heterosexual relationships mentioned in the lore as well as plenty of other stuff that’s not relevant for the gameplay.
also it’s definitely horror themed and the horror genre was always heavily influenced by sexual topics.
also the devs have already confirmed they want to be inclusive and have LGBTQ+ representation in their game.
What, you mean their official Twitter account confirmed it?
You do realize that was said during Pride Month in order to get points on Twitter, right? BHVR clearly honors China, they 100% will never add a LGBT character.

Where was that confirmed?
They think a non-canon cosmetic is the confirmed, canon truth. I sense this is someone who knows very little about DBD and is most likely a concern troll.
Nurse is only "confirmed" straight in that she has a husband, but that doesn't mean she can't be bi.
