Doing a 360 spin to slam someone just isn't that bad to me. I just can't see the problem.
It's unbalanced as hell and removes a lot of counterplay from him

Doesn't Oni have a cap on his Demon Strike lunge?
Yes he does.
90 degrees to the sides out of demon dash should be the max but PC players are able to get 180 degrees

How do you know they are PC? The globe icon shows for other console platforms too.
If i see players with names like "I'm Sexy and I Noed" or "Hex: Depression" then i'll assume they are PC players 👀
-
I ALWAYS do that.
Especially Bill and David

Doctor with distressing and both calm addons could completely prevent survivors from progressing the game in any way on certain maps just with his static blast.

It was literally on one of the videos they 1st put out about the trickster. Wasn't written it was audible
They released a teaser and 2 short reveal trailer for the killer and survivor and neither of then mention a release date.
Just "Comming Soon"

Nurse has the lowest kill rate. Is she weak now?
Yes,she needs to be buffed to her release state.
115% movement speed,3 blinks base without the blink recharge mechanic.
Then she would actually be viable ☻

I find the over whelming majority of survivors don't know what to do against a good nurse. Perhaps it's because of her super low pick rate. I can't count the # of supposedly red survivors that try to pallet loop her. When you face survivors that know how to juke and block LoS. You find out pretty quick how good or bad you are at Nurse
I'm gonna be honest,i've had a nice Nurse streak and thought i'm pretty decent with her but then i got a team that actually knew how to play against Nurse, had really good movement and were really hard to read and suddenly i realized i might be not as good with her as i thought i was lol
But yeah, most survivors struggle playing against Nurse because you almost never face her.And if you do it's either a baby Nurse or a god Nurse

I guess,but as jdcabral said.
She is one of the hardest killers to learn and master in DbD
-
@Mooks said:
The first few games with her are hard because she relies completely on her blinks and can’t be played like a normal M1 Killer.
many stop playing after the first few frustrating matches and say she is hard to learn..
She is,if you play against decent survivors.

Hi, my name is NOED. Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior, late game 4k's?
I mean,NOED can be pretty cheap but if the killer manages to get a 4K with it then your team screwed up REALLY bad.
All it should do is guarantuee 1 kill.Everything more is poor play on the survivors side in my opinion

I'm sure any person who plays a healthy (maybe even an unhealthy) amount of Oni knows that there is one thing you can do that just completely screws him over. That weakness is delaying the first hit by playing really safe i.e dropping pallets early.
It can be pretty lame to go against as Oni because there is quite literally, NOTHING you can do but mindgame if you are even able to before they just run away.
It doesn't always happen, but it is definitely a problem because it just makes the Oni look like a joke.
But of course making it easier to get blood fury would buff the Oni when he is already strong enough most of the time. So, should it be fixed or just left alone?
Playing very safe against Oni by dropping pallets early and such is a double edged sword.
It can be very effective in a good team but can also backfire very easily if someone screws up.
It's comparable to not cleansing against Plague.

<laughs> They already do that asking for our so-called help. The community has proven extremely divided and unreliable in so far as providing useful feedback on anything. You are also making the assumption that they actually make those changes based on our feedback and not on their own internal testing and/or whim. They don't make any changes quickly which is demonstrated by the fact that many of the changes that the majority ask for take years to implement. Do you see where I'm going with that? In short, the process doesn't have anything to do with us, or at least not in the way that we THINK it does. We have an expectation or a perception of how the process works that simply does not match the reality. I submit that transparency only causes us irritation because the disconnect between what we ask for and they do is more apparent because of it.
Consider the most recent play test (although what I'm about to say applies to all of them so far). The so-called community gave a metric ton of feedback. When only a tiny fraction of it was implemented, the storm of outrage and indignation that followed was horrific. Any good will the company "might" have gotten by involving (or pretending to involve) us in the process was entirely negated by that backlash. It was a net loss. I submit that when they put things out for play test that they already know 99.9% of what they are going to release and the play test isn't going to change it. I would even venture a guess that they already know the small changes they are going to make before the play test, but still do the exercise so that we FEEL involved.

Obviously, but you pretty much won't be able to stop that whiny part of the community.
BHVR should just ignore them and focus on the reasonable part.

Why should BHVR punish the reasonable part of the community just because some idiots love to keep crying?

That second add-on is already good enough and doesn't need a buff. Combine it with lion fang and you'll slug the entire team in 30 seconds. Even on its own and if you're not slugging it's good, the less blood fury you use the better if you're gonna cancel it after a down. I think the crutch is also fine, the speed increase is more than enough to warrant it being a purple imo because let's look at Oni as a whole:
His power is already REALLY good and he doesn't add-ons at all to begin with. If you start making his add-ons more in line with other killer add-ons stats-wise (or giving them multiple strong effects) it'll be too much. It's why his add-ons aren't all that exciting and are there to instead compliment his power instead of massively buff it like other killers. And it's also why topknot is so good and needs a nerf, because it buffs his already strong power way too much.
The second addon (Tear soaked tenugui) is just plain bad.
It reduces the penalty for downing survivors in Blood Fury for just 4 seconds.
Every single duration addon is better than this and you would need like 2+ downs in Blood Fury to beat them.
-
@ALostPuppy said:

Reduce his overall startup time to compensate for the nerf of an overpowered add-on? TF?! He doesn't need that buff, his dash charge time is fine at 2 seconds. 1.5 seconds at base would be absurd. Everything about Oni is basically perfect apart from topknot and his red add-ons that could do with reworks.
Also, the addons that increase passive built up of Blood Fury

Having the option to slug means it isn’t an invincibility perk, especially paired up with many penalties by design
A lot of people bypass that by using DS and Unbreakable.
Also, getting slugged is definetely better than getting tunneled (as long as it isn't like twins level of slugging)

They used to do that, and people complained when those releases were delayed. When they weren't delayed, people complained about the quality of the releases. Now, without the devs saying anything, people still hype themselves up and blame the devs because their completely self-made expectations aren't met.
There's no winning this. I don't blame the devs for shutting down most communication when people complain every single time. They might as well save themselves the trouble and do nothing, it's easier on the nerves.
I'm not sure if this is a healthy mindset though.
Fact is that you will ALWAYS see people complaining about everything, however, should they really punish the part of the community that is reasonable by getting almost completely silent?
I don't think so.
The only thing it does is causing problems (e.g Halloween Event,Twins release, colorblind mode fiasco etc.)

The Trickster is probably going to be an interesting experience playing him tomorrow, and we're still not for sure if there will be any more changes to him before release. Here's the thing with me about Trickster, I don't like the spamming with his blades. I like to play fighting games, and I don't normally enjoy being outplayed because someone spammed me to make up for lack of skill. Trickster's big grand power known as "Main Event" is probably the spammer of all spammers, there honestly just doesn't feel like enough love was really made for Trickster. It's quite disappointing how much BHVR hyped up this chapter, only to then realize that Trickster is basically Budget Decrease Huntress/GhostFace. At least there's some positives to make up for this new chapter.. Wraith finally doesn't need Windstorm anymore, Blight can actually see now and slides won't be consistently happening anymore, and probably my most favorite the Decisive Strike change. I honestly just feel like Trickster is just something to hold us over until the Fifth Year Anniversary for Dead By Daylight, because there's gonna be quite a lot of high expectations for that after two horrendous killer botches.

Just because you had a boring match, doesn't mean that something should get nerfed. Otherwise I would be crying for Ghostface to get nerfed to the ground. But I don't do that, because it is not right.
Freddy has been my main ever since I first started playing, prior to his rework. I guarantee you that he is not OP and definitely does not requires a nerf.
He does however need something that increases his really really low skill floor.

@Phasmamain I rarely saw Blight and Oni before this. Also, they could just buff Poll Rate again on Console like they already did from 100% to 200% turning speed. Then both sides would be fine.

Now hold there. There are plenty of characters who were introduced to add diversity, like Nick Fury in the comics or Starfire's original design.
The design and lore of a character should be more important than the nationality of them is what i'm talking about

So...none of the characters have been added for the "for the sake of diversity" (Or about to be added? And no, before you say it, I dont have an issue with this group or that group being the game, as inevitably people turn to that when they start losing an arguement).
note, the bracketed part isnt pointed at you.
I'm just saying that design and lore should take priority over nationality.
