New chapter delay? It wouldn't make a difference either way
I get alot of people want new things in the game, keeps it alive and hell most of us would settle for better communication with the devs about upcoming changes, new things etc. But they dont and I doubt they will but let's be honest is the new chapter really going to bring much to the table? No map, no new loops, tiles totem spawns to learn and the killer themself is weak and very unlikely to be played at high ranks, look at twins (havent versed since a few days after release) same as many killers that are so redundant and weak they arent touched. Then the new perks... I wont see people replace DH,Unbreakable,BT for them nor will I see killers replace gen defense or well rounded perks for meme/hex ones with little use.
So seriously what does this chapter really add for alot of players... for me, not much at all. And that is a reoccurring issue.

Wow a great response, but to your answer I am and do. Sadly I'm waiting on quite a few new games but you know what, those devs actually communicate and bring new and exciting things to their games. Bhvr should strive to do the same.

Technically no, it was never meant to be released today. But following DBD patterns, releases etc. It should of been... but like I said new chapters really don't bring alot for vet players. Maybe it's all a later date due to the numerous changes they're making

I believe it’s been pushed back because they didn’t get approval for the patch from Sony or Xbox in time.
When viewed from a particular lens, this chapter is kind of bringing out 3 Killers.
There's the obvious one, Trickster.
Lots of people never played Wraith due to how weak he was without add ons. Having Purple Windstorm be base kit along with his earlier buffs helps that a lot and you'll probably see him a whole lot more.
Blight's ridiculously low PoV caused lots of people to not play him because it was too easy to lose survivors behind short obstacles. Those changes will probably result in seeing him more often than once every 2 weeks.
Because players like me that don’t sweat every game like to try the niche perks. Trickster may be “weak” but he looks super fun to play
THIS, I want my wraith buff.. I want to see with blight for once, and honestly new perks: I'll take em.
If this update contains no bugs (I highly doubt it) then I'd be happy with anything at this point. Trickster is like a ranged legion, so when I get another 9k shards I'll probably get the guy for him and his perks.
Also if the DS nerf was added into this, then YES PLEASE, GIMME UPDATE NOW. Thank you.
